SERVER MIGRATION IN PROGRESS... PLEASE HOLD...

...

...SERVER MIGRATION IS COMPLETE.

RESTORING SCENE...

Welcome, one and all, to Part 2 of the Chaos Zone. For part 1, please refer to here. Or don't. That thread was incredibly long... Which, basically, is why Part 2 exists.

In case you don't know, or have forgotten, the purpose of this thread is to be as overpowered as you like (or, tastefully so, I suppose) so that you won't have any need to do so in other threads.

This thread is the continuation- NOT a reboot- of where we left off in Part 1. Here is a rather brief summary of those events:

- A guy named Beta Devil tries to stir some . This fails and he dies. However, now there are two universes, the second of which is based off of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon universe.
- A guy named Worship tries to stir some . This fails, and now he shares a body with a guy named Walter. (Worship is currently in control, however, but he's better now. Ish.)
- A group of 6 robots tries to conquer the world. This fails horribly, and the robots retire from this.
- A person with connection to the Dead Zone (basically the afterlife, but personalized to suit the individual) is badly harmed, causing portals from the Dead Zone to open up everywhere. The portals are eventually closed.
- During the above events, a man named Jazz combines with various forms of corruption to try and destroy the Earth. He fails and dies. (But he comes back later as not a villain)
- A trio of Badniks tries to stir some . This fails, but instead of dying, they proceed to lurk in shadows.
- During the above events, a Battle Network version of Trio tries to stir some . This fails, and he is sealed away.
- As a group of heroes tries to celebrate a milestone of pages (of which we're never doing that ever again), A Somari version of Bowser tries to conquer the world. He fails, but is still alive and plotting.
- Also during above events, the Anti-Matt (essentially an evil, all-powerful god that is also WAA HAA HEE from Sr Pelo) tries to form. This fails, and they have been erased by Matt (from Wii Sports) himself.
- A being named Regulus tries to destroy all of existence. It fails, but it's a rather hollow victory, since Regulus (reverted to Proto MKII) is still alive managed to stay alive, until he didn't, and we only won because of a Chuck-Ex Machina.
- A group named the UKR tries to spread their message across the world. However, a creature they worked with known as Grey Matter used them for its own purposes... This, however, was stopped. (The UKR, meanwhile, is... A complicated matter that has been decided to leave be for now.)
- Beta Devil, revived from the Dead Zone portals, begins to stir up again. Meanwhile, so does a robot named Coda, the trio of Badniks from before, and several other villains, making it a callback to (mostly) all above events, which is where we left off.

Understood? No? Great, then you're ready for Chaos Zone Part II.

But first, some ground rules:

1. If you're going to do stats and damage, feel free to have them be as big as possible. Just don't make them extremely long.
2. Do not use other people's characters. (Consult this list for characters who have already been reserved.) Feel free to make as many characters as you would like, though.
3. If you want to destroy the world, that's fine. Want to destroy the galaxy? Great. The universe? Can always be pieced back together. But do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Destroy ANY universe that is not involved with this thread. You are also equally banned from destroying the entire Omniverse, or any Omniverse beyond.
4. Be mindful that there are... certain lines that shouldn't be crossed. For instance, one may wish to close off their plotline and make it more privated. With moments like these, you are to RESPECT that person's insisted boundaries. This also includes transformations, levels of power, and ranking in the hierarchy. And in case you want to know the hierarchy, here it is from strongest to weakest...

Kirby- Reincarnation of the Omni-King, creator of the original Multi-Omniverse of the Internet. Is also everyone's friend.
Matt and Cranky Kong- Matt from Wii Sports himself, and the original Donkey Kong. Created the current Multi-Omniverse of the Internet together.
Shaggy Rogers and Robbie Rotten- Two of the most powerful memes in the Multi-Omniverse, under Matt and Cranky. Has trained under Matt himself, and are the origins of Good and Evil, respectively.
Adrian Marceau- Also known as "Ageman" or "Great Deity Adrian". The creator of the MMRPG Community/Omniverse. Despite his ranking in the hierarchy, ANYTHING he says related to the MMRPG Omniverse takes the upmost priority.
MegaBossMan and Rhythm- Co-Admins of the MMRPG Community (The latter having been recently promoted).
MMRPG Moderators- Exactly as said on the tin.
Reapers/Prototypers/Users- The entities responsible for creating the Universes (threads) within the MMRPG Omniverse, as well as the people within those Universes. The 3 above roles are technically of the same label, but with a higher status. Most other kinds of gods and goddesses are equal to or slightly lower in the hierarchy as this rank, depending on that god or goddess' role.
Pseudoreapers/Avatar Characters- Characters that are typically used to represent the Reaper, but doesn't quite meet the requirements to be a Reaper. (Ex. Owner of an Alt Account, a Character that a Reaper uses as a pfp or avatar)
Characters- Basically, everyone else. Makes up the population of a Universe.

That should cover that. Enjoy.

Doppler Labs

The Crew turns around as the shrill mispronounciation of the recent holiday pierces the sky.
That our guy?
Shadow Digital
Warrior Left to the Void
Shadow Man of DC&H-INVALID OMNIVERSE - UNIVERSE DATA COULD NOT BE RECOVERED*
Yep. Look sharp!
Kogasa Tatara
The Cheery Forgotten Umbrella
I realized it's kinda redundant to label characters native to the Chaos Zone so I'll stop doing that

As Shadow Digital restores the walls, Dark Elf and Kogasa hold off Rotom with Slammer Walls and Rain Flares, all three expecting a certain someone to arrive eventually...
Slammer Wall RECAP: (Shield/Impact) The user summons a wall of Garbage Puyo and slams it into the opponent.

MCPD Headquarters Which reminds me. This whole 'invasion' thing. Something's up with it... And I have a bad feeling that there's a lot more to this story that can be told at face-value.
My, my. Perceptive of you to identify... as far as standardization for yourselves go, anyway.
!

The Anthem Brigade turns at this remark towards the location of this voice, spotting a large one-eyed figure amongst a sea of Fake Men lookalikes.

I pray you'll forgive me, but I will have to deny you of any introductions. Just know that you may or may not be correct in your previous deduction... or rather, hunch.
Oh, cut the 'coy' crap. Submit to arrest or we'll beat you into telling us what's going on here.
Hasty, are we? Unfortunately, the specifics are not for sharing. But to reward your efforts, It has been decided to give you a bit of the same treatment your counterparts are working with.
...! (You can't be serious. This ordeal won't benefit anyone!)
Maybe not... But it's not as though this place matters, is it? Catastrophe after catastrophe... time and time again it has been proven just how unreliable and weak it is in the face of danger. So much so, that even it's namesake has turned to refuse to acknowledge their once-proudly acclaimed hometown. It is the dwelling place for the weak. A city ever so victim to catastrophe, a shameless place incapable of compare to it's former glory. And for such weakness... it must perish.

The other three silent, Anthem steps up, arms crossed.

You will fail. I don't care how weak you think it is and whether it's true or not. As long as the Anthem Brigade is in tact, it will never succumb to such again.
...Yeah!

The four face the one-eyed figure, their spirits unwavering.

As expected. It would be terrible if victory was such a simplicity. Though there is humor in that which you mention the art of succumbing... Because we just so happened to have a brief run-in with Mayor Dorado on the way here.
You--

Anthem without hesitation punches at the figure, who fades away right as he is about to connect. Seconds later, tens of hundreds of buster-clicking noises are made, being from the Fake Men lookalikes. Anthem eyes them, before looking towards (Other) Junior.

Damn it. This isn't good. Kid, go fly over to the Mayor's office and check up on him.
...

Junior nods, speeding off towards the closest exit, leaving Anthem, Lightwave and Crusher.

Alright. That out of the way...
MCPD Headquarters - Outside A wall bursts open, with dozens of Fake Men copies flying out.

Rotom? dodges the Garbage Puyos, whilst taking a small amount of damage from the Rain Flares. He then counteracts with a Heat Wave!
(OOC: Wha- no, Spell Cards are referred to as bombs quite often in Touhou games. Also, no description as to whether or not the target gets hit and/or takes damage?)

Tewi starts streaming* the Flash Bombs whilst firing off some more standard danmaku!
*For refrence: https://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Getting_Started#Streaming

Move Name: Heat Wave
Type: Flame/Wind
Description: The user exhales fiery breath at all enemies, dealing damage! Anyone hit by this has a 10% chance to be Burned.

Mario Bros. Residence*

Luigi, who has long since finished up his game of Poker**, is doing some minuscule chores around the house.

...Okie-dokie! I-a paid the bills, washed the sheets, and-a swept the floor... I guess I'm-a all done with the chores.

Luigi
Green-Stached Player 2

...Although... I... I-a have this nagging feeling that I'm-a forgetting something...

Luigi ponders in his chair for a brief moment...

....................

...And then, the realization strikes him.

Mama-mia, that's-a right! I'm supposed to help protect the-a Kingdom!
Wh-what if Bowser and-a that Koopenstein is at the Castle right-a now... I need to get over there immediately!

Picking up the Item Bag***, Luigi rushes off, heading off for Peach's Castle.
*Reference: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
**The original Chaos Zone, Page 330, Post #13
***Mario has entrusted Luigi to carry around a bag full of various Power-Up items, from simple Super Mushrooms to Super Acorns, and basically everything in-between. This is usually placed within a Hammerspace to keep others from snatching it so easily, a technique taught to him by Shaggy. (Yes, Chaos Zone Luigi is currently enrolled by Shaggy himself.)

Joyous Tower | Floor 100

Rotom doesn't notice Beta Shadow's arrival at first, and appear to be chatting with some enemy Pokemon that are on break from beating the crap out of people.

...And that, ladies and gents, is my scientific explanation for why cake is better than pie. Any questions?
Boi, don't even THINK about tricking me! IT'S SNOWING! THEREFORE, CHRIIISMAAAHHHH!

Move Name: Moonblast
Type: Crystal/Space
Description: The user draws from the power of the moon, and fires a blast of lunar energy at the target, dealing massive damage! This also has a 30% chance to lower the target's attack upon hit.

Bowser's Castle - Throne Room Bowser gets up from his throne, with Kamek right next to him, both of them facing a smaller, horned figure.

And you're sure about this decision, my lord? You remember what Koopenstein stated previously.
Of course I do, Kamek! If I wasn't so sure, we wouldn't be here right now doing this! Besides! If the slightest hint of resilience is shown, I'll just smack the goofy right out of 'em!
Koopa Lair (Flashback)
Bowser's Castle - Throne Room ...Very well, your callousness.
Now, then. With that in mind...

Bowser stands from his throne, and walks until he is a foot away from figure. He folds his arms at them.

With this act, you pledge your undying loyalty to myself and the Koopa Troop.
I am... aware of this. Indeed, it is now equal in nature for me as my need to draw breath.
Excellent. Then you know what you must do.
...

The winged figure slowly bends on one knee, kneeling to Bowser, who grins.

Gahahahah! Perfect! While we ready the HQK, Jr. will be our decoy until the time comes for us to strike.
MCPD | Outside While Junior speeds away from the building on the way to Mayor Marconi's, Anthem, Crusher and Lightwave fight off the horde of Fake Men.

...

These things... what's up with them? They don't seem... real.
It's almost as if they're just negativity incarnate. Either way, we have to take all of them out as fast as possible.
Hopefully the rookies don't even have it half as bad...

Wanda while flying away happens to use her wand to throw three more of them at Hammer Bomber before flying away again.

Joyous Tower - Floor 100

Well, I wasn't here for the whole "scientific explanation", but I think I can agree with you there.
Acorn Valley

...After having recovered, Team Sonic and the SFRs discuss their next course of action...

...Initially, I came here because of the imbalance of Chaos Energy... But now, with this "Beta Devil" character... It would seem the danger has become far much worse.

Silver the Hedgehog
Messenger from the Future

You're telling me... But what do we do? He was far too powerful for us to fight, and I have the sneaking suspicion that wasn't even close to his full power!
Don't tell me you are all planning on giving up like this. We've faced our fair share of villains like this, haven't we?
Regardless, how are we supposed to find a way to close the gap? We already have the Chaos Emeralds, but something tells me even that factor won't do us too much good in this situation...

Proto Man
Renegade Robot Prototype

Well, for starters, I think you should take this...

Sonic gives Proto Man the Hyper Energy Crystal he had.

...Since we have the Chaos Emeralds, neither me nor Shadow will need to use them to access our Super forms... Not that it's been doing us any favors, due to the physical strain.
...Aside from that... We'll need to find as much help as we can. The problem is knowing where to start looking...

RX: NOT ALWAYS YOU LITTLE RUNT! RX then uses his *signature fighting game move, Wild Circular!
Wild Circular An attack from Galon "Jon" Talbain, where the user leaps slightly into the air, and crashes into the opponent with their spiritual energy! (In RX's case, he's technically a living being due to being bio-mechanical, making him able to possibly use low level magic, and wield supernatural abilities like the Kamehameha.)
*Each of the X's each might have a different signature fighting game move they can do better than the other X's, for X, it's Ryu's hadoken, for Copy X, it could probably be the Shoryuken from Ken, for iX, it's Wild circular from Darkstalkers, and for X Kai, it's Walter's choice, not mine.

Keep X-Kai out of this. He has no such thing as a special signature fighting game move.
Just kidding, he has access to Akuma's Hyakkishu/Demon Flip and it's six variants.
Flower Fields
In our world, we have Chaos Stars, powerful artifacts that give control over space and time itself. When all seven are gathered, it results in giving the user an unfathomable reserve of power.

Yeah, yeah, what does this have to do with what weird state of Somari was in?

After I-a-let my guard down and was attacked by-a-Somatic, during my plummet to Earth, I managed to utilize a little-a-something else I had on me... the Chaos Coins: they're six-a-special coins that we had gathered to-a-fight Regulus, but we ended up-a-not needing them. Before I could fall-a-victim to terminal velocity, I-a-somehow managed to-a-use their power to transform again: This-a-time with the ability to manipulate-a-matter.

After meeting up with-a-Shadwari, Tailigee, and Yoshles, The four of-a-us came to the conclusion we could use-a-them to find wherever you all-a-disappeared to.
WAKA-WAKA WAKA-WAKA. (Makes sense, but why didn't you just use Super Somari? You had the Chaos Stars too, right?)
Hah hah... a-yeah...
(After letting his guard down and getting taken out by Somatic, one of the Chaos Stars were taken.)
Why they would settle on taking only one of them rather than all seven is beyond us. Even for the doctor, it's unlike him to have such a lack in hindsight.
And we-a-won't find the answer lingering around. We should-a-get a move on.
Agreed.

The eight speed off.
