In an alternate time line where Trios plans succeeded... at a cost. Through a commission from Crankey Kong, Funky Kong has managed to reset absolutely everything... into a new state. The world now split in two... the real world, and The Net. Causing most non-human and some human characters to turn... into net navis. With no memories of their previous lives. The same is said for the humans as well... though that dosen't mean that the same rules from the main world aren't applied here though. But as a extra cost... you can't have the same pseudo reapers from the previous one. You have to decide who should be the net navi equivalent of a pseudo reaper. Though the reapers are still the same, you just have to put them in navi form though... anyways, this is a reset timeline where Trio successfully took over earth... but ended it when it just began.
But in case you need a remind of the rules of Chaos Zone, here's a reminder copy-pasted straight from it:
1. If you're going to do stats and damage, feel free to have them be as big as possible. Just don't make them extremely long.
2. Do not use other people's characters. Feel free to make as many characters as you would like, though.
3. If you want to destroy the world, that's fine. Want to destroy the galaxy? Great. The universe? Can always be pieced back together. But do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Destroy ANY universe that is not involved with this thread. You are also equally banned from destroying the entire Omniverse, or any Omniverse beyond.
4. Be mindful that there are... certain lines that shouldn't be crossed. For instance, one may wish to close off their plotline and make it more privated. With moments like these, you are to RESPECT that person's insisted boundaries. This also includes transformations and levels of power.
But now, there be a fifth golden rule also copy-pasted, but from Discord:
5. Nothing, and I mean nothing, will connect to the original CZ or CZ 2 in any way, shape, or form when it comes to plot. Sure, there might be a non-canonical crossover between the two CZ's here and there maybe, but still, when outside of those crossovers, this new, fifth rule, will remain in effect 24/7.

The needles do a decent amount of damage, but nowhere near enough that a super effective move should. It does however, send Burner Man(?) into a pained fury.
Raze.
Ignite.
Engulf.
Devastate!

The heat that Burner Man creates is enough to melt the steel floor they stand on and to force Hub away from him. He continues to glow to such a rate that it hurts to even look at.

Restocking.RideMan suddenly fires his charged shot at the Mettaur, before shooting moving directly in front to shoot three RevSpred shots at the enemies ahead of him!
RevSpred (Null, Cursor)- RideMan.EXE shoots from his revolver, creating three different damaging spread-shot paths. The one in front does double the damage.

Battle Start!
(Common Battle Theme 3 - Energetic Enemy) ♫ Shanghai.EXE - Tournament Battle ♫The DarkNavi starts off trying a direct approach, stretching out his field with an AreaGrab then trying to stab his target with a series of KnghtLnc chips!
Minamitsu has none of it, though, shoving the DarkNavi back with a FloodStr!
BarrlTos: (Ground, Object) A Battle Chip where the user tosses a barrel straight forward, which normally shatters on contact, but is tipped upright when it hits a shield, turning it into an Object that blocks the path until its HP is depleted.
BnanPeel(1 = 100): (Wood, Object) A Battle Chip where the user places a banana peel randomly on the opposing field, which can stun an opponent once. The peel will be prematurely destroyed if the panel it's on is Broken or removed.
SmalFoot: (Ground) A small Virus with a single, large foot (as opposed to a Virus with a foot that is small). Attacks with flying kicks and aerial stomps. Can give the FootStmp Battle Chip.
FootStmp*(1 = 90): (Null) A Battle Chip where the user warps above the enemy and stomps on them to deal damage before returning to their previous location.
FloodStr(1 = 20): (Water, Wind) A Battle Chip where the user unleashes a 4-hit stream of water, stretching across the entire row and pushing anyone caught in it to the back of their field.
*Reference: Mega Man Network Transmission - Since the game is a platformer, I've invented an equivalent mainline Battle Network-style function.

The DarkNavi tries to catch Minamitsu in an ElecFang, but she takes the time to weave between the bolt and counter with an AncChain...giving the DarkNavi the perfect opportunity to whip out an ElecDril!

NutGun(1 = 80): (Wood) A gun-based Battle Chip. The user fires a peanut projectile for moderate Wood-type damage.
ExplGun(1 = 120): (Heat) A gun-based Battle Chip, and BarrelJet.EXE's own. The user fires a gun that explodes in their face. Hits the panels above and below the user, and in a 2x3 formation in front of the user, with only the top and bottom panels on the furthest-reaching column not covered.
Lynx: (Null) A Virus with the appearance of a round cat with its tail wrapped around its neck. Leaps quickly across panels, periodically leaping in front of the opponent for a kick attack. Can give the DoubJump Chip.
(Network Transmission equivalent) DoubJump: (Null) A Battle Chip that, when activated lets the user warp 2 panels in any cardinal direction (as long as the endpoint isn't a Broken, Empty, or opponent panel), ignoring the effect of the panel between point A and point B. DoubJmp2 and DoubJmp3 allow this to be done twice and thrice, respectively.
AncChain(1 = 50): (Aqua) Minamitsu.EXE's own(?) Battle Chip. Fires an anchor up to 4 panels forward, and upon contact, yanks the opponent to the front of their field if possible.
*For context, when there's a Battle Chip name without an explanation, it's either from a mainline Battle Network game or Shanghai.EXE.

The tower, completely covered in flames, seems to cry out via the sound of metal crunching and wood making a sizzling sound. To go back would be suicide to most, even those immune to fire.

So...for our first mission...instead of breaking into cyberforts or fighting oppressive bosses...we're looking for a little lost horse that looks like stars.

That's all we have for now, tune in next week for more news.
