*Recap: Besides Mighty, the Halberd is currently occupied by Meta Knight, Bandanna Waddle Dee, R.O.B., Dark Bladesmatter (a Parallel counterpart to Dark Matter Blade from Kirby's Dream Land 2 who disagrees with Grey Matter's ideals) and Diplomat Martin (a UKR soldier who has experienced Grey Matter's effects on his team firsthand); MK and Dee are involved due to Grey Matter's similarities to (and initial confusion with) Dark Matter, with King Dedede having also been involved before returning to the Brash Crew (who MK, Dee, and R.O.B. are also part of) to keep an eye on Rumia (which is another can of worms entirely). R.O.B. is on the trip because he (correctly) feared the UKR's deal with Grey Matter would result in similar circumstances to his own in the Subspace Emissary from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Toad Town After the failure of the Waluigi Launcher, Wario ponders on his next move. Suddenly he [and he specifically] hears a voice.

Some time ago, you were treated unfairly. And seeing as you'll probably get next to no compensation in the future'll, I'll just give you (And Waluigi seperately) a few centillion dollars in compensation. Bye bye.

A Magic Beam from Ludwig hits him, de-powering him. Wario yelps in pain.

But then... Ludvig got knocked off the clown car by Kurtis' Rocket Arm! Kurtis: Same to you boy.

Ludwig wasn't on the Clown Car to begin with. He regardless reflects the oncoming Rocket Arm at Kurtis with his Cape.

Suddenly, a watery hand grabs Ludwig's cape, attempting to rip it off!!

Kurtis dodges his arms which hit a wall! Kurtis: Well that was close... but those arms seem... familiar

Ngah! Miserable gnat!

The cape is yanked off of Ludwig successfully, which distracts him long enough to take a punch from Little Mac and Yoshles simultaneously!

This is ridiculous. The brat's gotta have some weakness!
There's one thing that's become apparent. He doesn't have access to invincibility. If he did, he would have used it by now.
Which-a-means that just like-a-everyone else, This guy is-a-beatable.
Not like he stood a chance against Waluigi in the first place!

Suddenly a charge shot is fired in the direction of Ludwig!

Take THIS you oversized brat!

Mao: Oh then it's already wonderful! Mao then gains what appears to be a sort of "Revenge Aura".

As L fires his charged shot, Somari hurls a Somari Wind, Taileegee and Yoshles through and arm-cannon blast and a boulder, Shadwari throws a Chaos Spear-- everyone simultaneously spams their respective projectiles, with Ludwig in the center.

Why don't you all comprehend the pointlessness of your actions!? You cannot win!

Ludwig activates a Bubble Shield... before realizing that it won't nealy be enough to withstand everyone, to which he responds by stacking it with the Thunder Shield, Flame Shield, Magnet Shield and various others, which manages to barely hold them off. A small glint of pressure is seen inside the Pendant Ludwig is utilizing.

My turn at explaining time I guess.
Ludwig and the rest of the Koopalings were terrorizing and wreaking havoc across multiple places, with (most of them) them being accompanied by a brainwashed assailant (King Bob-omb, Viewtiful Joe, Pac-Man, G&W and Little Mac). After defeating one of them (Morton Koopa) the group of heroes present (At the time Mao, Stanley, the Mario Bros., Wario and Waluigi, Mao, Somari, Tailigee, Yoshles and Shadwari) split up into groups of five to defeat the rest (Iggy, Lemmy, Roy, Wendy, and Larry), with the Mario Bros. (Mario getting his body stolen and Luigi's forcibly transformed) being ambushed after their fight. After defeating a good deal of them, everyone present regrouped and and headed to Toad Town to defeat Ludwig, the final Koopaling remaining.

Adding onto the barrage is a Chaos Shot!!

Chaos Shot RECAP: (Water) Chaos fires a powerful water ball from his hand.

The Chaos Shot eliminates the Flame Shield, thus creating a small crack on the Pendant and lowering Ludwig's guard!
