...
You probably think I'm here to stop Coda like a god in a machine, don't you, iX?
Well, I have bad news. It's quite the opposite.
Between HighTower's repeated insistence on winning every encounter he's faced with, despite the obvious stalemates it will forever lead him into, and RotomSlashBlast having "claimed" this arc, yet having given minimal progress over the course of a month and two weeks, including 80 pages, I'd say it's about time some true conflict comes into play.
Truth be told, I would have given the Alis something to speed up their arc had RSB not vanished again.
If Copy X's death means the continuation of the plot - or rather, the start of an actual plot - so be it.
Thank you, Libra. Know that despite this, you will not be spared if I win.
Farewell, Copy X. Die in despair, for not only will everything you ever stood for shall fall, but all shall know that Judgement has been slain by the hands of Chaos.
...Coda... So that is his name... Interesting...
...If it wasn't far too dangerous for the safety of Neo Arcadia- or, rather, what remains of it- I would go through the trouble of hunting him down right now.
...No. Such an action is unnecessary. ...However...
...I have every reason to believe that this all happened because of these three outsiders. So, unless they have a perfectly good excuse to let them live, I'd say end THEM instead.
...S-sir Copy X? Uh, M-master Copy X? Lord X? I want to get your title correct...
..w-we had no plans on causing this to happen, and we were simply trying to stop the Replicapture...we d-we weren't-we didn't want it to escalate, it simply happened and all we could-
Dangan, we gotta get out of here.
Hiya, palsies!
Who--
Yeah, I'd be confused if some rando went up to me and started babbling. I don't wanna be here, so I'll just make this quick.
You will forever, unless for whatever reason I decide otherwise, forget about Neo Arcadia and only remember the people you have met there themselves. If anyone attempts to forcefully remind you about Neo Arcadia, or remind you of this mind-wiping, not only will it fail--again, unless I decide otherwise-- but they will be struck by an internal 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 ^999,999,999,999,999,999 gigawatts of energy each passing zeptosecond for five seconds. This time doubles when the word "Coda" is said directly to you.
I refuse to let any of you four get involved in this for any reason at all. Ever. You all may proceed.
Well, that takes care of that.
Pretend I wasn't here. That goes for you, too. Mind your business.
...Bribery? You intend to flee justice through bribery!?
I'll let it be known now that Reguhalla didn't fall because it decided to join the fight against Regulus. If anything, the reason of it's fall is the reason a certain someone among you lot was able to contact and enlist them to begin with... Including HOW.
No. The reason it fell is because it decided to open its doors for the entity known as "Defteros".* Considering who let Defteros in and then far later on destroyed the city to begin with, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the intention from the very beginning.
...And then, the chaos and destruction that soon followed. Jazz possessing a citizen to become Finalem.** Alt Rock and Mechtenant breaking in to take down Regulus***... These incidents happening is far from coincidental. It happened the moment they opened their doors to the outside world, even if it's just one person.
The same shall NOT happen to Neo Arcadia. Not if I have anything to say about it.
...As far as I am concerned, by the way, simply Copy X will do. Especially from an outdated model such as yourself, bullet-shaped robot. Seeing as you are not even worthy to shine my own feet.
...Though, seeing as you had helped out during the attack, as well as the evacuation of Neo Arcadia, I suppose I shall let you three go with a warning... But, under one condition:
You are to inform no one of what you witnessed. No outsider is to know of Neo Arcadia... Lest we run the risk of being the next Reguhalla.
...Guardians, move out. We need to relocate... And then, I don't want to see ANY of you leave our new Neo Arcadia without my permission.
...Understood, Copy X.
I'm not letting you lay a finger on this city. There's been enough roughhousing already!
You've completely failed to realize that the person behind the city's destruction is you.
Or rather...this.
*bwoop* (...what are the conditions of the negotiation?)
Yes. Every piece of data has been carefully transferred, and your new body should be suited to be able to use all of it... And possibly more.
I have also installed in your body a connection to
's network, which, given its upgrades, should allow you to look into other Omniverses for data, should you feel the need to.
...Ah, yes... This body fits perfectly... You have my gratitude, doctor.
...Perhaps not for long, sir...
UPON FURTHER EXAMINATION OF THE AFTERMATH, IT APPEARS THAT COPY X MANAGED TO CLING TO LIFE USING HIS METHOD OF "ARMED PHENOMENON".
Is that so...? How disappointing... And yet, merely a minor setback. Copy X appears to be disinterested in chasing after us, due to his concern with making Neo Arcadia a "private society". We should not need to worry about him anytime soon.
VERY WELL. BUT WHAT OF THE OTHERS?
...We will deal with them when it's our time... That, however, is yet to come.
A-are you sure? Surely, the others will be anticipating your return-
Let them. As far as I am concerned, this is still the UKR's moment as the antagonists... If even so. No need to rain on their parade. And besides...
...I have already shown how I am still ever prominent, still lurking in the shadows, waiting for the chance to strike. No reason to rub it in any further. Not yet, anyways.
You are among some of Earth's stronger soldiers, correct? Earth is a special place to General Kilroy and he's pulling all the stops to prevent an Option B, otherwise known as selective genocide. Note that said option has only been used at least 16% of the time, as far more outcomes are either an A or a C.
A baby bot? Hmm...Should I leave Pierce alone for a minute to investigate or...
Pierce! Up there!
Watch the holes, whatever making the sound could come through them. Still...let's keep going. If Vat Man is still alive, he would likely be in one of the safe rooms.
... (From what I've heard, the idea of who is the strongest warrior on Earth - or anywhere, for that matter - has been highly debated, especially when certain people have been placed in certain groups*.)
... (That said, considering the feats performed by three members of our team, I suppose the answer to your question would be yes.)
... (Before we continue, I would like to ensure what Options A and C are, in case either becomes relevant later in this conversation, or even in a potential second meeting later down the line.)
If I had to make a guess, I would say those are Experiments #6, #1, and #7.
I'm not too sure about #6; think we need to analyze that one further†.
Perhaps. But considering that Limited's evolution was how you and Return iX came to be, I would imagine our first priority would be Experiment #1. If they were used that early on, one can only imagine what's become of them by now...
...Replicapture's been destroyed. Sorry about Descant; I didn't notice she had come along until well after the search was underway.
Sorry. Just thought I could help.
Hey, I never said you didn't. Just that it would've been good to tell someone.
Uh...hi, mister.
I ain't tryin' to open old wounds, just makin' sure; which one's Vat?
A is simply a government submitting to our demands and in exchange for protection and growth, we are able to change said government's laws through a committee to better suit our true agenda. Meanwhile C is basically when we go to war. Often times there has been large groups of organics and machines that support our cause in one way or another, so civilian casualties are made to be as low as possible. B however is in those rare instances in which the entire population is either too faninatical or connected to a hivemind, in which case people above 18 are either removed from the planet and sent elsewhere or executed.
Course I'm not here to bore you with facts or to butter us up to look pure, but rather to strike a series of deals. Note that we're more than ready to compromise within reason.
My boss will be the robot with the tube of chemicals on his head. Also you don't have to worry all that much about opening these old wounds. After finding some grey creature, I can't feel much of anything as of late.

... (Perfectly understandable. What exactly does Kilroy wish for on his end of the deal?)
Sunova...
