...I'm, like, sorry, Scrappy...
...But, like, you've gone too far, dude.

You see that?
Yeah...I see the three gods above our power levels. What about them?
No! I mean the pile of corpses around them. There perfect for what General Kilroy wants. And YOUR going to get them.
...
That's an order. You don't follow my orders, you won't get what you want. Simple as that.
You really are trying to get me killed, aren't you?
You come back, don't you?
That's besides the point...fine.
...Scrappy. I, like, feel like there's a chance for you to change, man... Even if it's small, there's still a chance.
...But, like, before I try to attempt it...
...You, like, need to learn your lesson.
(...8%... 10%... 12%!? Is this truly, like, the amount of my power Scrappy has obtained...?)
(...If Scrappy were to have, like, obtained this sort of power in his own body... Then perhaps, like, Scoobs would actually be impressed with him...)
(...No. He, like, didn't earn this power on his own. He stole it, straight from my alternate self... he cheated. And it's, like, time he learned that cheaters can never succeed.)
...Hey there, guys. I hope you don't mind, but I also brought Epsilon with me.
*Ahem*
*Sigh* Yes, and Devil, too.
Seriously? You expect me to believe that this freak, of all people, had a change of heart, as well?
Look, buddy. Don't get me wrong. I may have changed for the better, but I still refuse to become a hero like the rest of you. I'm only working with you until the job's done. The moment Regulus is defeated, we're going back to being enemies.
Iota. I want you to use your powers to plant a seed, right here.
In the middle of a concrete street?
Just plant the seed, Iota.
Oh, fine.
Now, then. Use your powers to grow that seed into a large tree.
...
...I fail to see what a crash course on my powers is supposed to teach me.
Describe the tree for me, would you?
...It is exactly the way I envisioned the tree. Completely straight. Very tall. The leaves make a rather rounded-out shape at the top. No twigs or lower branches. It is, in my vision, a perfect tree.
Correct. In your vision, the tree is perfect. However, because it has been forced into your "perfect" vision, it has grown unnaturally. And because of that...
...It never truly grew. It remained as weak as it was when it was merely a sapling. Delta, if you would be so kind.
...But, if you let the tree grow naturally...
...It becomes sturdier. It improves upon itself.
...In a way, OCs are like trees. If you force OCs to change, they'll never truly improve. It takes time, patience, and- most importantly- understanding for an OC to grow.
...You honestly expect me to compare OCs to trees? Where's your proof of this comparison?
...Delta. You have called Eta like I have asked, right?
Should be arriving right about... Now.
Hey-o!
Eta, you brought "it" like I asked you to, correct?
Worry not! I, Eta Cosmic, have brought to you, from the depths of the Clockwork Cathedral, the most powerful Time Machine in the world!
...Really? *Sigh*...
...well, there are those Prototype World Rings that have been popping up recently, right?
I haven't been able to keep perfect track, but I think only three have popped up so far, but they all seem to parallel final World Rings.
Dr. Doppler, I've gathered a bit of data on the Prototype World Rings, and hopefully with it we can pinpoint at least one with the radar.
Hm...what rings are these?
...what poor soul could wield a ring such as that?
...
Well, damn it.
Gee! I sure am glad I was able to be accepted as Grande Supreme Kai of the Omniverse! I wonder what Uncle Scoob and his friends'll think of this! Oh, boy I can't wait! This is going to be the best job ever!
You ever just feel like something big is coming?
...
We've both faced plenty of regrets in our time here...how should we handle this?
...
...are you sure?
I have a lot of regrets. Disobeying the hierarchy for my selfish gain, tampering with the Omni-Meme, nearly going on a murderous rampage just before Jazz Hands appeared...
...but I'd be lying to myself if I didn't say that, in some ways, I've grown to appreciate my violent early days, even if just because they've brought me to where I am now.
But you, Dr. Doppler...everything you've done in Dimension 1, and even in Dimension L, has been you, one way or another, atoning for what you did in your world. The Limited, the Incept Chasers, the Nightmare Police, Doppler Town...all of it is why you've become such a great friend to us, and to others.
I've suffered more from what I've regretted, but you've shaped yourself from it.
The power of regret may seem like a bitter pill to swallow. But to control it means that you've learned from it.
And you've learned more from it than I have.
...thank you, Dark Elf. I will use what I've learned from my regrets to help this world. To save it.
