...And are you sure this will work?
It HAS to. I just see no other way around it. There's no other possible way to confront him... No available universe has the flexibility needed to be able to confront him directly.
And how do you know he will come?
...He is an investor of Chaos and Destruction. He will come... It would be against his nature not to.
...I looked at where he kept it. The Anti-Omni Meme of which that devil manifested from. ...It's gone, Bt. And there's only one person in this entire Omniverse who also knows where it is... And would have the motives to take it.
...And Reaper is too gullible and naive to notice any of this. And even then, he would not agree to do any of what I am doing, even if it's for a greater cause. I HAVE to be the one to do it. There is no other way around it.
...But if the Trio of Origin... the Creators of the Internet's Multi-Omniverse find out about this...
...They can erase this universe for all I care. But not until we get rid of Beta Devil... For GOOD.
Greetings, one and all, and welcome to the Chaos Zone. This is an attempt to do what the Absurd Roleplay attempted to do: Create a safe environment for people to be OP so that, hopefully, it won't spread to other threads.

I'll let it be known now: This is NOT a continuation of the Absurd Roleplay itself, nor of its story/stories. If you participated in the Absurd Roleplay at some point and wish to bring back any characters or plotpoints that existed at the time, feel free. But do note that this is, more or less, its own continuity. Heck, if anything, it doesn't even need its own continuity. But, I'd be foolish to think it won't. In fact, I am counting on it.

Anyways. Some ground rules:

1. If you're going to do stats and damage, feel free to have them be as big as possible. Just don't make them extremely long.
2. Do not use other people's characters. Feel free to make as many characters as you would like, though.
3. If you want to destroy the world, that's fine. Want to destroy the galaxy? Great. The universe? Can always be pieced back together. But do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Destroy ANY universe that is not involved with this thread. You are also equally banned from destroying the entire Omniverse, or any Omniverse beyond. There are... certain people. I want to avoid the attention of. So let's refrain from stretching out the destruction to beyond this thread, ok?

...I think that about covers it. You all enjoy yourselves.

...Meanwhile, at a certain television network's HQ...

nitron-y ...Finally, it's about time we get to see them.
gemini-man Excuse me, Y, but what on Earth are you watching and why are you watching it instead of working?
nitron-y Sorry, sir, I've just been so caught up in these "Duracell Games" recently...
gemini-man Hm. Sorry, wrong answer. The correct answer was supposed to be "one of our amazing and spectacular programmings, like Gemini Tonight", not the programs of our company rivals. I'm afraid I'll have to dock your pay.
gemini-man And besides, what interest could there have possibly been to a show where nothing happened for basically a majority of the time?
nitron-y Actually, they have been moving at speeds faster than the average eye. I think they're using some kind of special technology to-
gemini-man Y. You're a great cameraman, excellent even. But when it comes down to combat, well, it's no wonder you could never even come close to defeating Mega Man. Nobody's that fast! Even Quick Man, who prides himself in his speed, moves fast enough for the average eye to catch.
nitron-y ...Right... Well, would it be selfish of me to ask not to cut down on my pay? I've already lost enough of today's pay just by watching this on Pay-per-View.
gemini-man Pay-for-whatnow!? You mean to tell me your spending company funds watching a rival newtwork's Pay-per-View Television!? Pay-per-View!? IN 20XX!?!?
nitron-y (Sir, it's 2020-)
gemini-man Ugh, of all the- ...Just how cheap can these guys get!? Who is even responsible for recording all this!? And who would even want to WATCH it, let alone PAY to watch it!?
nitron-y ...Uh, about 50 million people and counting, sir.
gemini-man 50 millio-

Gemini Man suddenly stops...

gemini-man ...Pardon?
nitron-y Well, yeah, I mean... It's likely due to the anticipation of whether or not the world's going to blow up or whatever. Though, the hashtag is really trending on Omni-Twitter...
gemini-man ...So, people enjoy watching this sort of combat, do they...?

An idea begins to form in Gemini Man's mind...

gemini-man ...Y, get back to work at once. And by get back to work, I mean study MORE on these "Duracell Games". Continue to watch it, straight to the end. I believe we may have found our next big hit.

The Speed Lord gets through the lasers and starts attacking one of the afterimages!

I'm not sure he's gonna be able to keep up with all those clones by himself.
Oh PLEASE, The Speed Lord's clearly faster.
He's ALSO got a low Attack stat compared to Hiyaa. Face it, The Speed Lord's eventually gonna need something extra to fight off those afterimages, whether you think so or not.
Why not just use the Mecha Summoning Program, since summons appear to be legal now?
Because I don't wanna risk a stress-test. Plus, not much of my Mechas are good for fighting off super-fast entities. Other than maybe Crazy Cannons, but they aren't exactly known for being able to take hits very well.
We're talking quantum FTL energy bullets*, dude.
 We're ALSO talking-...
...Huh, I guess that IS a pretty good point to make.

Duracell overhears the conversation between the two and chimes in.

The afterimage promptly disappears. The others continue their strategy and move around, shooting at The Speed Lord.

Suddenly, while The Speed Lord is navigating through the lasers, a beam of data shoots into the sky and above the clouds, and out pops a Ring Ring, which then tries to Ring Tackle Hiyaa!

Wily Star Ruins
Perfect, Unb-
Before he finishes his sentence, Metal Sonic turns to the Blue Blur and his friend.
...I realize that you haven't met yet. Sonic, Tails, this is Unbeatable Air. He's part of a makeshift team I formed to help gather other collectibles.
I had said teammates take on the jobs of finding the Time Stones and Chaos Rings for the same reasons I avoided the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald altogether.
Even if I've well grown past the need for my Titan Metal Sonic form, it would have raised suspicion regardless.
And the Time Stones...well, given the circumstances of our first encounter, that would raise just as many red flags.
In any case, there are only two sets of collectibles on my list that we have yet to acquire in any amount: the Sol Emeralds, and the Rainbow Drops.

Angel Island - Launch Base Zone Remains

Sanae and Suwako are searching the remains of the abandoned Death Egg launch site...
These blocks certainly clash with the rest of the environment...
They look a lot newer than everything else, too...
...maybe there's a secret behind them!
I can put that to the test.
Suwako summons a Stone Frog God, which breaks through the blocks with ease, revealing a hidden passageway with the first Rainbow Drop!!
Wow!
Do you think we're going to find more of these things behind the same blocks?
Maybe not the same blocks...I'd imagine whatever placed these put different blocks behind each, all breakable by different types.
Well, let's keep looking!
Sanae and Suwako leave the floating island...
Fang wakes up in a grassy field...
Ugh...my head...
...where'd the robot go?
The sniper then notices a gemstone right next to him...the Green Sol Emerald.
...well hello there, darlin'...
As Fang picks up the Emerald, he hears rustling noises from a nearby bush...
(Crikey, not that karate guy again!!!)
Fang runs for the hills before the figure can come out and track him down...
Dang it, he got away!
*sigh* I'll get him next time...
But hey, at least I found this cool thing!
Orange holds up the Blue Sol Emerald.
COLLECTIBLES:
Time Stones: 7/7 (7 w/ Unbeatable Air)
Super Emeralds: 7/7 (7 w/ Metal Sonic, Sonic, and Tails)
Chaos Rings: 6/6 (6 w/ Schmitt)
Sol Emeralds: 2/7 (1 w/ Fang; 1 w/ Orange)
Crystal Stars: 7/7 (7 w/ Crescendo)
Rainbow Drops: 1/7 (1 w/ Sanae and Suwako)
Stone Frog God: (Earth/Impact) Suwako summons and rides a frog-shaped rock that hops forward once.

HAH!?

Hiyaa dodges the laser and the tackle, reaching even further to the skies to the point where he cannot be seen by anyone.

The Ring Ring is almost instantly met with a blue-winged tank-like vehicle, immediately dropping down on him before he can react.

Duracell immediately teleports out of the way. Before any of Team Aeon can contemplate why, the entire arena is slammed on by the same blue and white vehicle that hit Ring Ring.

WRRRYYY

Hiyaa, who was pushing the vehicle on the entire time, begins pushing it down further on the contestants, punching it down on them with incredible force.

MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA! MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA! MUDA!

Hiyaa lets out one final punch, exploding the entire vehicle. Once the smoke is cleared, Duracell immediately Instant Transmissions back, admiring Hiyaa's work and then turning to the cameras.

Randumasutah (Earth/Impact)- Hiyaa exclusive move. The user immediately summons a tank-like vehicle from the skies. It can summon power shields, rockets, and cannons. It is ludicrously fast on the ground.

Wily Star Ruins
So, before we look for the rest of the collectibles, we should head back to Mega City to check on Crescendo and Schmitt.
Metal Sonic flies down to Earth, expecting Sonic, Tails, and Unbeatable Air to follow.
Snow Planet

Suwako is using her "Magma Amphibian" Spell Card to keep herself and Sanae warm.
Brr...no wonder nobody's visited this place in two months*! It's barren and frigid!
Just be glad that we didn't have to head to Neptune...
As Sanae huddles close to Suwako, she sees a stack of perfectly-aligned ice blocks.
That doesn't look normal.
Probably isn't.
One of the fireballs from the Spell Card lands on the ice blocks, melting them to reveal the second Rainbow Drop underneath!
Finally! Let's get out of here!

Fang is now strolling along a cliff, having found the White Sol Emerald along the way.
Heh, they're giving out gems like they're candy!
He then turns and sees a small girl in a cave, and hides behind a rock to look in unnoticed.
Who's that kid? What's she tryin' to do with that stick o' hers?
Fang notices the girl's trying to toss her baton in the air to knock loose the Red Sol Emerald from the top of the cave, to no avail.
Poor girl can't aim to save her life! Might as well teach her a thing or two...
Fang fires a Quick Cork at the Emerald!
The Emerald breaks out of the cave roof, and Orange catches it!
Yeah! Got it on my first try!
Orange then flies out of the cave, unaware that it was actually a cork that knocked the Emerald loose...

COLLECTIBLES:
Time Stones: 7/7 (7 w/ Unbeatable Air)
Super Emeralds: 7/7 (7 w/ Metal Sonic, Sonic, and Tails)
Chaos Rings: 6/6 (6 w/ Schmitt)
Sol Emeralds: 4/7 (2 w/ Fang; 2 w/ Orange)
Crystal Stars: 7/7 (7 w/ Crescendo)
Rainbow Drops: 2/7 (2 w/ Sanae and Suwako)
Quick Cork: (Missile/Swift) Fang fires a super fast cork from his popgun. Can't be fired rapidly, but has perfect accuracy.
*Page 8. Yes, I'm reaching that far back, what of it?

...Meanwhile, at Little Papa Beta's, Kirby has finally arrived.

Puyo!~ Puyo? (Beta!~ You there?)
...
...Puy puyo, puy? (...Still feeling down, huh?)
...I've been feeling better. Still not sure if I should do this, though.
Puyo! Puy puyo puyo! (Come on! We literally can't do this without you!)
...
...People say that they learn from their mistakes. But I'm just not sure if I am learning anything. I just... Make mistakes. And because of that mistake, an entirely different problem arises, worse than the last... And even if we do defeat Regulus... I'm not entirely sure if this would be the worst to come from this Roleplay.

...Puyo. (...Listen.)
Puy puyo puyo. Puyo, puy puyo puyo. Puyo puy "puyo" puy puyo, puyo puyo. Puyo; Puy puyo. Puyoyo. (I know that it's hard sometimes. And trust me, I've made my fair share of mistakes. Even if I am as high on this "hierarchy" as people say I am, I am not perfect. Far from; I'm still learning. I always am.)
Puy puyo puyo; Puy puyo. Puyo... Puyo puyo. (But it doesn't matter what mistakes you make; It's how you learn from them. How you grow... And how much you change.)
...Puy puyo puyo, puy puyo: Puyo puy puyo puyo? (...And if you don't think you've learned from the mistakes of the past, then ask yourself this: How many times did this world explode in comparison to the Absurd Roleplay?)
...

...Puyo, puy puy puyo, puyo puyo puy. (...Well, if you ever want to come out, I'm always willing to share this large cake with a friend.)
...

Kirby then reaches behind the giant cake... It appears his wish was a package deal.

...Puy puyo!~ (...I've also got a lifetime supply of Dr. Pepper!~)

Suddenly, Beta Shadow reforms, complete with Full Release form!

REAL SHIT?
...I knew he would be awoken from his depression for the dumbest reason.

Outer Space

As Metal Sonic continues to Earth, he checks his radar, and realizes something...
...wait a minute, why are the Sol Emeralds and Rainbow Drops so close together?

Abandoned Colony

Sanae and Suwako have sped up their Rainbow Drop[/c] collection significantly, with only two left...one of which they're currently struggling to reach.
[ I don't get it! We used [b]earth, fire, electricity, needles AND blades...]{wind_nature}
What else is there?!
Suddenly, Kogasa appears behind them!
Got you covered!
Umbrella Sign "Flurry Travelers"
Hundreds of umbrellas fly across the colony, with one of them breaking the wall blocking the sixth Rainbow Drop!
The last one's gonna need you to use all of them, but don't worry; I got the parasol blocks there too. See ya!
Before Sanae or Suwako can even turn around, Kogasa's gone.
...?!

With the Yellow Sol Emerald now in his collection, Fang sees the Cyan Emerald not too far away...
Hah! Already I've got four!

With the Purple Sol Emerald now in her collection, Orange sees the Cyan Emerald not too far away...
All right! A fourth one!

This is almost too good to be-
Fang and Orange stare each other down, readying their weapons...
Near-Complete Doppler Labs
What are we going to do when Trimarc's gone?!
As the crew wonders this in worry, they realize that Dark Elf has mysteriously disappeared...
Duracell's Arena

A figure watches the battle from a distance...

Unbeatable Air does not follow Metal Sonic but instead looks at a window port.

So...how do we get down to Earth? I can't teleport and there's no air to transverse through...
As Fang and Orange prepare to engage in a duel, two shining lasers come from the sky, hitting the two. Slowly, a large machine comes into focus.

I'll take that off your hands.

Whoops.

Unbeatable Air is holding onto dear life to a nearby piece of scrap metal in hopes of not being sent to space. Conveniently, a Air-Man sized air-helmet floats past, allowing him to breathe.
Burial Moth simply looks at the ape before leaning down to speak on his level.

This isn't some TV show, gramps. Do you know who I am? I'm the number uno pilot in all of Camberian. You? You're just a monkey with a stick and a beard. Get lost.

Burial Moth ignores Cranky and picks up the Sol Emerald, catching his mech's left hand on fire.

Sure, the SOUL risks being damaged even further while this form is in effect, but I ain't gonna let that stop me from kicking your *REGGAE'D* up and down and all around!

Suddenly, a bunch of meme energy envelops Trimarc, and undergoes a rapid transformation into...

My god.

HE BECOMES...!

Memelord Trimarc.

...Hm. I'd say I look more "edgelord" than "Memelord".
 *points at Duracell* Anyway, YOU.
I have a serious, primal, and undying urge to rustle EVERYONE'S jimmies right now, and I think I'll start with YOU.
Mark my words, when I'm through with you, there won't even be a corpse.

Since transforming counted as Memelord Trimarc's turn, Duracell gets the first move.
