...And are you sure this will work?
It HAS to. I just see no other way around it. There's no other possible way to confront him... No available universe has the flexibility needed to be able to confront him directly.
And how do you know he will come?
...He is an investor of Chaos and Destruction. He will come... It would be against his nature not to.
...I looked at where he kept it. The Anti-Omni Meme of which that devil manifested from. ...It's gone, Bt. And there's only one person in this entire Omniverse who also knows where it is... And would have the motives to take it.
...And Reaper is too gullible and naive to notice any of this. And even then, he would not agree to do any of what I am doing, even if it's for a greater cause. I HAVE to be the one to do it. There is no other way around it.
...But if the Trio of Origin... the Creators of the Internet's Multi-Omniverse find out about this...
...They can erase this universe for all I care. But not until we get rid of Beta Devil... For GOOD.
Greetings, one and all, and welcome to the Chaos Zone. This is an attempt to do what the Absurd Roleplay attempted to do: Create a safe environment for people to be OP so that, hopefully, it won't spread to other threads.

I'll let it be known now: This is NOT a continuation of the Absurd Roleplay itself, nor of its story/stories. If you participated in the Absurd Roleplay at some point and wish to bring back any characters or plotpoints that existed at the time, feel free. But do note that this is, more or less, its own continuity. Heck, if anything, it doesn't even need its own continuity. But, I'd be foolish to think it won't. In fact, I am counting on it.

Anyways. Some ground rules:

1. If you're going to do stats and damage, feel free to have them be as big as possible. Just don't make them extremely long.
2. Do not use other people's characters. Feel free to make as many characters as you would like, though.
3. If you want to destroy the world, that's fine. Want to destroy the galaxy? Great. The universe? Can always be pieced back together. But do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Destroy ANY universe that is not involved with this thread. You are also equally banned from destroying the entire Omniverse, or any Omniverse beyond. There are... certain people. I want to avoid the attention of. So let's refrain from stretching out the destruction to beyond this thread, ok?

...I think that about covers it. You all enjoy yourselves.

Duracell's clone dodges. Duracell's clone then uses Voltiac Burst Positive on his real counterpart, giving him a 2 stage boost in all of his stats. The real Duracell then uses Battery Bolt, summoning an intense thunderstorm from the skies to smite all three of them.
Voltaic Burst (Electric/Energy)/(Electric/Damage)- the user emits a burst of volts on their target. If the target is an ally, they receive healing along with boosting their stats by two stages. If the user is an enemy, it will shock them, ignoring any resistances or immunities/affinities, doing double damage if they are or have an affinity for Electric-Core.

Battery Bolt (Electric/Impact) A physical blast of electricity from Duracell's personal reserves of energy. He can shoot it out of his hands or summon it by manipulating the protons and neutrons around him.

Mega City Ruins, Underground
Well, as we wait for acceptance or denial from Sleet Man, we will move on to the next step: finding assorted objects of power.
You gave yourself the voice box to talk like a human, use it to talk like a human.
...I doubt I need to tell you about the Chaos Emeralds or the Master Emerald. They're more common knowledge in these worlds than even that loathsome copy of mine.
But there are many more. The Banana Coins and the Chaos Rings* are among those I guarantee exist on Earth, but there may be more...
Like what?
From what my Robotnik gave me, we could be finding things such as Time Stones, Super Emeralds, Sol Emeralds, Crystal Stars, and Rainbow Drops.
Our mission is to collect all of each and have them ready for those who need the power boost in the moment of truth.
With eight exceptions: the Chaos and Master Emeralds stay where they are. The seven Chaos Emeralds are likely needed to empower my fake and his friends, and the Master Emerald shouldn't be relocated, lest we face the wrath of Chaos or any other guardians.
Speaking of which; Schmitt, I'm counting on you to search for the Chaos Rings. I have a transformation reliant on them, but even if I weren't to use it over one of my other stronger forms, the idea that I could use them would complicate the mission.
Crescendo, you're in charge of tracking down the Crystal Stars. They should be the most accesible of the collectibles, so you'll likely have the least problems finding them.
I will be collecting the Super Emeralds. Their whereabouts have been unknown ever since Robotnik's first attack on Angel Island, so I'm likely going to have to search through space - or even Dimensions - to find them.
Lastly, Unbeatable Air: Which group of collectibles you wish to track down is your choice. Do keep in mind, though, that the Sol Emeralds may belong to someone else, and the Time Stones will likely be found at different periods in time.
In fact, if you see it fit, I will allow you to pick a set of collectibles outside of my knowledge, as long as moving them won't instigate conflict among others.
We will be using our communicators to update our progress.
Metal Sonic, Crescendo, and Schmitt all head off to begin their respective parts of the mission...
COLLECTIBLES (OOC: Apologies to Beta Shadow for using a similar tally in a similar context):
Time Stones: 0/7
Super Emeralds: 0/7
Chaos Rings: 0/6
Sol Emeralds: 0/7
Crystal Stars: 0/7
Rainbow Drops: 0/7

....One of Hades' guards gives into his confusion and turns to Hades to ask of him something.

Lord Hades? M-may I ask of you something?
Proceed.
What was so important that this Mr. Regulus came to us for?
Ah. That. Well, I am under obligations not to give the specifics... But because of our ever-expanding empire across dimension to dimension, he figured that we would have something suitable enough to act as a trump card should he be in danger.
...In exchange for what, Lord Hades?
There's no real way to sugarcoat it, so I'm just going to say it: Infinite wealth.
B-but... he threatened to destroy the O-
Omniverse, yes. But if he does, it really won't matter if we relocate from here to a different timeline or dimension where he didn't, would it? No. It would not.
...Hmmm. Wise words, Lord Hades.

The guard go back to guarding.

Earth, Outside the Halberd
...this should be the place MS was talking about...
On the ground, left over from Metal Sonic Kai*, is the Green Chaos Ring!
A-ha!
Schmitt picks up the Chaos Ring and heads to the next place Metal Sonic directed him to...
Clockwork Cathedral, Outside

Crescendo is looking at the back of the Cathedral...
Stupid rusty rodent, thinking I'm only good for the kiddie job...
As he complains, Crescendo stumbles across the Gold Crystal Star.
See? That took no effort. A Beak could do this.
Still mumbling to himself, Crescendo leaves the cathedral in search of the next Crystal Star...
Outer Space

Metal Sonic is scouring the remains of Sector X...
...why am I finding readings of Super Emeralds here, of all places?
Metal Sonic shrugs off the thought as he finds and claims the Orange and Gray Super Emeralds.
He suddenly picks up a signal...
WARNING: INCOMING ENEMY FROM THE REAR
Wh-
Before Metal Sonic can react, a giant purple and green robot smacks him upside the head, and flies in front of him!!!
I MUST BE COMPLETE.
EXTREME IS MAKING ME COMPLETE.
I WILL TERMINATE ALL ENEMIES.
YOU ARE AN ENEMY.
Spyborg EX
Remnant of the HEX

(Event Theme) ♫ Star Fox 64 - Boss A ♫

As Metal Sonic retreats with the Super Emeralds in hand, Spyborg EX chases after, swinging his arms at him!!!

Super Emeralds: 2/7 (2 w/ Metal Sonic, challenged by Spyborg EX)
Chaos Rings: 1/6 (1 w/ Schmitt)

Suddenly, Spyborg EX is hit with a homing energy shot! And the origin of the energy shot seems to come from a certain rocket ship...

Alright, a direct hit!
Hey there, Metal! We'll help you out with this thing... But afterwards, there are some questions that deserve answers.

The Space Tornado fires yet another homing shot...

DESTROY. DESTROY.
With Spyborg EX still flailing his arms as he's being blasted by homing shots, Metal Sonic decides to set the feud aside, and rips off the robot's face!!!

Well, yeah, but what I want to know first is HOW you got them. Did you steal the Master Emerald while we weren't looking to power up those Chaos Emeralds*? And after all the trouble we've been through to get it back...
...Something doesn't add up. Didn't someone else have at least one of those two colors of Chaos Emeralds? How could those Super Emeralds exist at the same time as the Chaos Emeralds?

*This refers to how Koopenstein used a few Master Emerald shards to power up a Chaos Emerald into a Super Emerald.

Outer Space
...well, first of all, I haven't been near the Master Emerald at any point. I knew perfectly well that someone would start up conflict if I did so.
Second of all, these aren't Super Emeralds in the same sense as those you used against Robotnik when he first attacked Angel Island.
They take on the same larger, brilliant diamond cut appearance, have the same colors, and inherit the same power from the Master Emerald and Special Stage...
...but they seem to have created themselves independently from the Chaos Emeralds. Why this happened I don't know, but regardless, we need them to strengthen participants in the fight against Regulus who aren't on the same level as, say, Super forms, Full Release forms, Celestial Formes, or even Supercharges.
And you probably hate this as much as I do, but we need as much cooperation as possible to hold even half of a fighting chance against Regulus.
That's why I searched for the Super Emeralds - the Chaos Emeralds, Master Emeralds, Chaos Rings, or anything that can be found on Earth would immediately cause people to react to me for my past act-
Before Metal Sonic can finish talking, Spyborg EX powers back on, wagging its finger and shaking its head as laser cannons emerge from its shoulders!!
(Event Theme) ♫ Star Fox 64 - Boss A (Spyborg Phase 2 Version) ♫
THE VIEW IS CLEAR.
EXTREME COMPLETES ME.
The Extreme-fixated menace begins firing dense energy beams, and throwing plates of broken metal at the trio!!!
OOC: Okay, I'll admit: I came up with this new Super Emerald explanation because I failed to realize the Super Emeralds weren't separate from the Chaos Emeralds.

All three Aeons end up taking 341 Damage, but the PK Counter activates, dealing a total of 1023 Damage to Duracell somehow!

Alternate Aeon tried PK Dark α on Duracell's Clone!
Trimarc used a Large Pizza on Alternate Aeon! Alternate Aeon's health was maxxed out!
Collateral Aeon used Hydro Crash on Duracell!
 Alternate Aeon | Level: 53 | Health: 490/490 | PP: 360/360 | ATK: 1470 | DEF: 2800 ▲▲ | SPE: 1098
 Trimarc | Level: 80 Health: 99,596/100,000 | ATK: 1733 | DEF: 1960 | SPE: 2410
 Collateral Aeon | Level 20 | Health: 1911/2500 | ATK: 13230 ((250 + 1073) * 10) | DEF: 12470 (150 + 997) * 10) | SPE: 13690 ((150 + 1119) * 10)
Note: Reflected attacks always become Neutral-type for the sake of damage.

Attack Name: PK Dark
Known Levels: α (about the same strength as PK Starstorm γ)
Attack Description: The user channels PSI to shoot antimatter at a single target. This type of PSI ability is VERY strong, but costs quite a bit of PP to use. However, since I'm lazy, I'm not going to show Alternate Aeon's PP ticking down.

Item Name: Large Pizza
Item Description: An unspecified type of large pizza. Not pineapple though because that's straight-up awful. Restores 600 Health upon consumption.

Duracell's clone disappears after being hit by the PK Dark α. Duracell seems unaffected by the Hydro Crash and PK Counter despite it's clear damage. Eventually, he flies back to the ground to talk with the three.

Duracell then begins to power up, or while seeming to power up actually powers down in several areas. As his body changes, he becomes bulkier and less humanoid with a now brownish skin-tone. He speaks to the remaining members of Team Aeon.

Abandoned Robot Factory Ruins

Amidst the few broken objects not made of regular metal,* Schmitt finds the Cyan Chaos Ring!
Sweet! I'm on a roll with these things!
Wonder how the others are doing...

Outer Space

Metal Sonic tosses the broken metal aside and pierces Spyborg EX's torso with a Heavy Metal Laser, only for the intergalactic weapon to grow jet engines and fly towards the trio with fists prepared!!!
WHERE IS THE CREATOR?
WHERE IS MECHA SONIC?

Quiet Forest

Crescendo is on the hunt for the Crystal Crystal Star (Sounds redundant, I know), with...less success than any of his teammates.
I've been in this forsaken forest for TWO HOURS.

COLLECTIBLES:
Time Stones: 0/7
Super Emeralds: 2/7 (2 w/ Metal Sonic, Sonic, and Tails; challenged by Spyborg EX)
Chaos Rings: 2/6 (2 w/ Schmitt)
Sol Emeralds: 0/7
Crystal Stars: 1/7 (1 w/ Crescendo)
Rainbow Drops: 0/7
New Metal Laser Power Levels: Default, Heavy
*All of the metal in the Abandoned Robot Factory was collected by Volt Man (Page 40).
