Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

As the vehicles reveal themselves as police cars, another Blader gets in the way of the BFG, firing off a electric bolt at said weapon. Two more Bladers attempt to crash into Alchemy Man.
A Cop Man can be seen from the window of one of the cars shouting to put your hands up.

I understand the labcoat, but why take of the shades and the gloves?
It helps me look less suspicious... They're cool, but they're not exactly ideal for pretending to be a robotics scientist.

A ticket machine not unlike the ones you see at a DMV can be seen. Before you can take one though, a distorted voice calls out.

Who might you gentlemen be? You clearly don't look damaged...Internal perhaps?

Aeon dodges the plasma shots, and responds by pulling out a chainsaw! He goes to chainsaw the car in half, but...
Crap, these things require 5 Fuel to chainsaw to death. No thanks.
Instead, he uses a Blood Punch, which is a melee attack that causes an EXPLOSION upon impact, on the car.

Greetings fellow members of the order. I've come to make a proposal.
19 Chairs suddenly appear, each containing a figure staring in curiosity.
It's quite simple. Our original purpose for this sandbox's existence has come to change, has it not?
As such...I propose that this universe...to be rendered a prime candidate for destruction.
The hall was filled with whispers and a jumble of speech.

"And so I find yet another burden to bear..."
Suddenly one booming voice silenced the others
"Hold on, hold on. Let's hear from the opposition now. Then we can make our decision."
One figure clad in orange rose from its wheeled seat.
"By destroying this, bubble, we will have put years of work into the trash."
"And yet, we can simply recycle the old and throw it into the new. That way, nothing would truly be lost. Besides, our change in goals was to be expected. Nothing truly stays the same after all..."
Silence filled the hall.
"Are there any objections?"

A figure rose from another chair, this time with the sound of bells you would hear from a jester.
"Why not start working on a new universe and leave this one to me?"
Once again a burst of various words and whispers echoed in the hall.
"Think about it. You've often talked behind my back about how I never do anything or that when I do it always results in disaster. I may bear the card, but I'm no fool! I see through the lies! I-"
"Jester. Sit down."

As the Jester sits down, a figure clad in shining gold arises.
"A question to the Fool. If we let you...operate this universe, what, pray tell might happen to it?"
"Quite simple, Sun. I would learn to become far more suited to my role. All I need is a chance after all."
Whispers followed suit.
"Hmm... There is a chance that it would keep him out of our hair."
"But does HE of all things have the power?"
"I will surely make him serve his punishment should he not."

"How many declare him able to rule?"

Greetings fellow members of the order. I've come to make a proposal.
19 Chairs suddenly appear, each containing a figure staring in curiosity.
It's quite simple. Our original purpose for this sandbox's existence has come to change, has it not?
As such...I propose that this universe...to be rendered a prime candidate for destruction.
The hall was filled with whispers and a jumble of speech.
"What?"
"No!"
"But we wor[color=#bbff00]ked so hard!"
"And so I find yet another burden to bear..."
Suddenly one booming voice silenced the others
"Hold on, hold on. Let's hear from the opposition now. Then we can make our decision."
One figure clad in orange rose from its wheeled seat.
"By destroying this, bubble, we will have put years of work into the trash."
"And yet, we can simply recycle the old and throw it into the new. That way, nothing would truly be lost. Besides, our change in goals was to be expected. Nothing truly stays the same after all..."
Silence filled the hall.
"Are there any objections?"

"Then I'm afraid that we-"
"My liege...if I may..."
A figure rose from another chair, this time with the sound of bells you would hear from a jester.
"Why not start working on a new universe and leave this one to me?"
Once again a burst of various words and whispers echoed in the hall.
"Think about it. You've often talked behind my back about how I never do anything or that when I do it always results in disaster. I may bear the card, but I'm no fool! I see through the lies! I-"
"Jester. Sit down."
"...Yes my liege."
As the Jester sits down, a figure clad in shining gold arises.
"A question to the Fool. If we let you...operate this universe, what, pray tell might happen to it?"
"Quite simple, Sun. I would learn to become far more suited to my role. All I need is a chance after all."
Whispers followed suit.
"Hmm... There is a chance that it would keep him out of our hair."
"But does HE of all things have the power?"
"I will surely make him serve his punishment should he not."
"Enough. Can we come to a vote?"
"How many declare him able to rule?"
A number of hands go up.
"One, two, thr-Jester. Put your hand down."
"Sorry..."
"Ahem...One, two, three..."
