Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? *ATTENTION, ALL ACTORS*
In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.


Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

As MIDI enters the building, a pile of broken down mechas can be seen before suddenly being tackled to the ground by an unseen force.
3 damage taken.
A ​hand with a strange fabric goes over his speaker as the other one pulls out some cuffs.
Under orders of the Glow, you are to remain silent.
Nearby is a capsule of something...

If you wish to throw the bot into the capsule, pass the following check.

Number: 35
Dice: 3 d6.
Stat Requirement: 15POW, 7AGI
Modifier: POW+AGI.

If you wish to simply get him off, pass the following;
Number: 20
Dice: 3 d6
SR: 10POW, 7AGI
M: POW

The second cop stands by the door, preventing access.
Navan Desert

As Cross thinks to himself, a floating log can be seen going down the river. You could also try swimming.
Truck

As Gyro opens the truck, he spots Ark and multiple pieces of broken wood. A heavy swerve catches Gyro off his feet.
Roll a 25 to pass this check.

Dice: 3 d6.
Stat: Requirement: 10AGI
Modifier: AGI.
(New...? Feature)
Roll Checks
Just like in DND, sometimes, you'll have to roll checks sometimes. How it works is as follows:
You need to beat a number by rolling a number of dice. Adding the dice together plus whatever stat the check may ask for will be the final number.

Example: 3d6= 14. POW:5. 14+5=19.

Note that you don't have to attempt a check usually. While it's an "intended" solution, it's not always the best situation and creativity is advised.

An awkward silence occurs... until loud clacking sounds come from MIDI's left arm, which turns into a vulcan as he aims it at the head of the cop who's holding him and fires! (Bodge Buster) At the same time, he tries to turn around so to use the cop as a meatshield from the other one's attacks.

Blast man walks into the building, he's a bit confused on whats going on with the policeman and MIDI, But he aims his bazooka at the police officer
Gyroman, scoring a 30 in AGI, manages to keep ontop of the truck, he tries to slide into the truck

...Then looks back at Blast Man and pulls out her Syringe Gun, also pointing it at the officer.

Dodge: Calculations obscured. 1 dodge dice was added.
Results: All three hits landed, dealing 12 damage to Fake Man A. At least one shot was a lucky hit!

MIDI tried to move the bot and...
The enemy's POW overcame MIDI's, preventing him from moving him!
Blasts and Meddy's aiming grants them the removal of an target's extra dodge dice.
Enemy Phase

Understandably upset, he pulls out a baton and whacks him with it.
Damage: 10+14-15=9.
Dodge: Calculation obscured. No extra dice added.
Result: Despite MIDI's best efforts, the baton hits him in the arm, dealing 9 total damage.
HP:5/20. DANGER!!!

Taking assumptions, three buster shots were fired as I'm assuming your using Buster Shot
Damage: 3+17-8=12(3x)
Dodge: Calculations obscured. No extra dice added.
Result: All three shots collide with the target. 36 damage was dealt!
As Fake Man 2 struggles to adjust, the stabilizer fires off.

Damage: 1+6-8=-2
Dodge: No extra dice added.
Result: As Fake Man 2 recoils from the Buster Bazooka, he makes eye contact with Meddy before the Stabilizer fires directly into his eye, bypassing his defenses and thus:

Fake Man A turns around to see his comrade has already been dispatched. The shots collide with his chest, revealing a strange scar glowing with light behind the paint. Seeing no other option...he slowly gets off of MIDI before putting his hands up, scoffing at the irony.

Inside Truck

As Gyro lands in the truck, he steps on pieces of broken wood. It seems something was being carried here...

Blast man Poses in celebration,the sound of explosions can be heard, it doesn't do anything but its a cool effect

After being released, MIDI stumbles towards Blast Man and turns around to look at the defeated policeman.
He does not like what he sees.

Wait.... that crack. Didn't-- oh, crud. Take cover!

MIDI runs behind a desk, trying to tackle the other two behind it with him which fails humorously.
