Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

It appears that it was last opened a week before Regal got found out, and has many, many files that would even make Woe blush probably. Anyways, MIDI checks page one of Project L, and see's a rough sketch of what once was supposed to be a singular robot master built to do every task imaginable for the odd jobs, to governmental politics, meaning the L might mean Light. As in, "light in the dark".

...I'm sorry, too. I know how stressful the idea of that is for you. And for the most part, you are right. If any foreign group finds out about this, we could be in big trouble...
...But that doesn't mean we should treat every situation as equally recklessly as before. What if that camera contained important footage? Sometimes, it wouldn't hurt to be careful.

MIDI: Hm. Looks like we spooked him just in time, or he would've gone through with making some sort of jack-of-all-trades light-in-the-dark economy-saving super robot.
MIDI: N-not that that's a bad thing, in fact we could use one right about now, but it's REGAL. He would've had him gain everyone's trust and then seize control of the entire planet or something!

Then he looks into pages two through twenty, showing that slowly, it started becoming more like a cyborg design, showing that there was an entire scrapbook of weapons that were deemed "unfitting" by Regal's standards. Until he saw page thirty, where the final weapon designed for the robot, hidden laser cannons on the back was chosen by Regal, thus making the jack of all trades, seem like a laser core of all things.

The most recent page, page 79, only contains some sort of design for a capsule. Inside said capsule, it appears that it's some sort of surgery machine for inserting cyborg parts inside the human body, with a suit that's snapped on through some hole in the patients back, powering the suit up.

Wait really? I thought you meant most recent? Well I guess beggars like me can't be choosers in this situation, so... page 42 seems like it has been edited to hell and back, improvement after improvement, correction after correction. All just for the head and torso alone. But it appears that a location is also specified on the top right corner of the page saying, "Kept in the rain's glowing heart in lake [REDATCED]"

X(Cross) goes completely unnoticed by Bass.
Well, grabbing a few items for Weapon and Life Energy recovery might not sound like a bad idea... Especially the former. The last thing any of us would want is to need to use a strong move but not have the Weapon Energy to do so. As for your dog's question, I kind of have cities like this. Perhaps slightly more advanced, and I would suppose a little more lively.
...Then again, I never really paid any mind to the people in my world. I was mostly focused on a battle of attrition, and... Honestly, never really cared enough to find any other interests or hobbies. ...I suppose that's why things have been rather dull for me after I finally won that battle... Mostly, anyways.
