Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

In addition, it turns out that Taurus is a suit for a guy named Andoru. Also, Dr.Regals assistant, Meddy, was left behind and joined Acorn's party. After they left the hospital, where the lab was located, they went to a university where they called the place home.
Afterwards, they gravitated back to the hospital to find that Crystal planted a couple crystal bombs in the hospital. When they detonated, crystal slimes populated the hospital. After a fight in the boiler room, it seems that they managed to rise the temperature enough for them to melt.
Also also, Dr. Regal has built a couple cyborgs; Ark and Brute(?), causing havoc. While Ark is near a material factory, Brute is in Dr. Woe's tower, where a particular technology allows people to be sent into this world.
As MIDI enters the lab, it seems the bomb was highly effective, causing most of everything in the room to become nothing more than ash.
Maybe this was pointless...
Acorn continues to walk before tripping. As the ash softens the noise of his fall, he glances at what make him trip in the first place.
Hey MIDI. Think you can find a way to retrieve data off of this?
Acorn pulls out a Modem from the ground.
With a thud, Ark leaves the truck. A door tied together with chains greets him.
No sound. No boom. Where was the earthshattering kaboom?
Despite Heat being well shut by his lid, light still managed to invade the cracks if any. Suddenly Heat felt his lid being opened by force and is greeted by an angry looking Police Man...?
Under orders of the Glow, you must hand over all forms of information of the Shadow Tribe or other nearby hostile factions or I will get it through force.
As Quint searches the rooms, he catches an Slime offguard!
Encountered! Darkshine Crystalime.
HP: 40/???
STA: ???/???
AGI: ???/???
DEF: 3
It doesn't seem to have noticed you yet. You could try to walk away or engage it in combat. If you engage, you would be managing to catch the blob off guard, allowing you to attack it when any weapon.

MIDI: Yeah, it's in great condition for something that blew up. I can do something, but it's still just a modem's buffer so don't expect much.
MIDI plugs an ethernet cable and the jumper cables into the modem, powering it and doing his thing.

The camera doesn't move from it spot, instead looking where Dust was at.
Quint kicks the slime and...
Results: 15-9= High enough power to move it.
It's a goal!!!!! The Darkshine slime is launched out of the window, causing glass to shatter.

He then bites into Ivory's hand, causing red cracks with red static leaking out to form, then diving onto Ivory's belt (if he has one), causing chains to surround him, then shattering to reveal some sort of red armor with silver vest, with his bitten hand, his writing hand, is covered by a buster cannon which looks like it has wings, but covered in chains. Also getting a yellow visor shaped like bat wings.

Amazing. When a noise-based construct reacts to another noise-based construct in a particular way, it could result in a total atom reorganization.
Furthermore, the fact that you refered to yourself as young and had a father suggests that age and reproduction can occur in noise-based constructs.

The failures folder contains text documents that talk about failed cyborg and robot master designs, while In Theory has designs for theoretical designs for robot masters, cyborgs, mechs, and devices.

MIDI digs into the In Theory folder, specifically looking for stuff he could make use of. Even if there is something that seems related to Woe's research, it isn't showing up on the projection. Peculiar.

He mainly just sees designs for what appears to be weapons corresponding to some of the robot master designs, along with robots that have rather... unique designs. Like a robot master that makes limbs from pure energy, one that can fold into nearly limitless amount of shapes like a sphere that bounces or a sharp star shape, and many others as well. But for cyborgs... these are more experimental, outlandish, and borderline illegal in some cases.

It appears that the limbs generated from the core of the robot, more specifically the engine it's attached to, exerts high amounts of energy, more specifically, plasma. The plasma, through specialized node core shards, would go through the "limbs", covering them in small shells of plasma, which in theory might cause the robot to burn the ground below him, with one logical solution. Specially made foot parts that would stick to the bottom of the robot's "legs". Though it appears that the design and concept were unfinished due to time constraints. But there is another file that piques his interest... a file dubbed, Project L.
