Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

Amazing. It's...it's sentient! And judging by it's words, it appears that there are multiple of them! Truly fascinating! However...why was it I never encountered them during my twenty years as a EM signal?...

Result: The shot nearly takes off the Joe's head! Unable to hold on due to the shear power of the move, the Joe, for a split second, lets go of the axe. That second however would be its downfall as it falls under the car, crushing it.

As Gyro looks around, so too does many of the broken down machines. Metallic-looking salamanders run rampant in and out of the machines, each giving Gyro little thought. You appear to be near a tower looking similar to a spaceship, though it would take some climbing or flying to better get a good look at it.

With a thud, Quint seems to have landed onto the top of a building...wherever there are any other buildings or not remains to be seen for a pink cloud surrounds the roof. A large crystal just as pink as the clouds around it can be seen sticking out of the middle of the area.

Dust man looks up at the sound of electrical noise above, confused and concerned, he nudges star man but he gets no response from him,as star man is listening into Woes conversation!
Gyro looks up at the spaceship tower, and begins to take flight, surveying the side of the the tower to see if there was anything that could be salvaged or used
Quint surveys his surroundings, covering his mouth his his arm, with his free arm, he begins to charge quint buster in case of an ambush, he then carefully maneuvers around the top of the building, looking for any entrances

It seems that the mushrooms are surprisingly sturdy. However, they seem far too small to be used easily to cross the lake. Perhaps if there was a way to increase the surface size of the mushrooms?

Actually yes. I've found what I think is a passageway to Regal's Lab. I could use your skill in fixing up any damaged computers in there. Though...I thought you said you had to do something else.Radio
Well...I am a homo sapien, or human. Though the power of EM Wave Transfer, I have managed to convert my very being into a noise-based construct such as yourself.

There doesn't seem to be anything on the celling possibly able to make that sound. However, they do spot a active camera.

Guys,don't look now,but there's been a camera in this room the entire time-
Blast and star then both look up to where dust was pointing,and nothing giving a look of 'uh oh'
Gyro man spots the opening,and attempts to make his way inside of the spaceship tower!
Quint looks down at his feet towards the glass shards,and making a small mental note
This building is in clear disrepair,until other evidence proves otherwise I'm gonna assume where ever I am is quite ruined...
Quint then headed towards the door and opened it up,and headed inside the building

The camera turns at random before stopping. If Dust didn't know any better, it appears as if it was staring right at him.
Noise waves? Hmm...from what I remember from my research, Dr. Tibit theorized the possibility of electromagnetic waves being so stabilized that they had an chance to resemble organized structures and locations. If enough of these "stabilized waves" were put together, they could form the societal equilvent of cities. He ended up calling these, noise waves. However, due to the nature of his research, it was nothing more than an remarkable idea at best. There was also someone by the name of Dr. Hab that theorized that noise waves was a category of waves referring to those making sounds. Again, while it does make sense in the name, it seemed to harbor no possible use in what I set-
I'm getting ahead of myself. Save for the name, I know nothing of Noise Waves.

That's convenient. I'll need your engineering skills to try and restore any data we can find in Regal's lab.Acorn then signals for MIDI to come down as he removes enough dust to open the entrance.
Mysterious Building, Top Floor
As Quint goes down the stairs he comes across an long hallway with various white doors. By the looks of the big sign with a large cross, it appears this place is an hospital. You can also spot the bottom of the large crystal from before. The stairs don't stop here.
Scrapped Spaceship
As Gyro enters the spaceship, it seems that the ship has been converted into some kinda of living space as evident by the wooden boards acting as floors and lightbulbs being amplified.
Glass Cliffs Caves
As the Concrete Shot hardens the mushroom, it, because of its own weight, falls into the water. Still serving as an adequate platform, you could try jumping onto it or look for another way to reach the other side.
Warehouse
With a resounding thud, the truck finally comes to a stop. Seems they break for nothing...

All the guards should be out of there. With that said, if anything happens in there, just use that portable radio in the back. There should also be some Bladers in that backpack near you. B.Bass and crew near the outskirts of Neptune City where they run into a unguarded checkpoint. Not surprised, the car runs past it and enters Neptune City.

@RotomSlashBlast : Alright, here's the skiddy, guy from south side of planet tries to mug heat man, heat man straight up burns the guy enough for him to be transformed into a cyborg replica of Taurus the zodidroid by a classic series version of Doctor Regal, military finds out about the surprisingly illegal practices that he's been doing, and so tries to hunt him down before it's too late. Cy-Taurus gets help from classic series Meddy, and they run into Acorn. Then came Gyro Man from a place dubbed the T-Verse which has a good amount of lore to it along with some of his friends. They (minus Gyro's friends) then meet MIDI who is just done with everything. Then in a separate story, an alternate version of Bass is currently working with a blind Police Man unit to stop a cult that's heavenbent on making everything pure. Then T-Verse Quint and an alternate version of X where he's a robot master show up in reverse order trying to do their own things as well. Then Acorn's group meets Dr.Woe who's currently stuck in a radio with a Noise Wave Wizard that's based on both a Batton and a vampire bat. And that's the story so far in a nutshell, donk~!
