Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

MIDI: I guess with all the focus on space travel and colonization that's been going on from the middle of the 21st century, then the invention of Reploids, FTL travel and everything else nobody really bothered to make a new universal standard for connecting computers and spread it across multiple galaxies. Hell, for all I know, there could be USBs on Earth. ...given the year it is in your world, I assume you're from its Earth?

I just realized that I can't up and close Ivory's messed up portal anymore, I have to fix it up with no prior experience with it so that they can have a direct line of communication with their home world! Or, well, you'd assume the signal came through the portal like they did. AND I have to somehow get them back home in the flesh... eventually, I guess, they don't seem to be in a rush.)

... ...For the record, this does NOT leave this car, alright? Honestly, this was probably going to be revealed to someone regardless. But I think it'll be fine as long as we remain low-key about this. ...Now, then... Even if I were to leave this place, I'd have no idea on where to go. Because the truth is... I come from another universe. I have been dragged to this world against my own will... And quite frankly, it took me longer than I'd like to admit to even realize I wasn't even on Earth. For quite some time now, I have been living off of what Zenny I had on me, as well as whatever Zenny I could find off the streets. I'd have looked for a job... But it's kinda hard to find one- a LEGAL one- when you have been built solely for combat. ...And before you ask, no, I don't have some fancy device or program to allow for me to return to my universe... Not that there would be anything to return to, unless some sort-of miracle happened while I was gone.

The sound of a bell ring happens in MIDI's head.
I overhead their transmission and think I may have a pinpoint on their universe and it gave me a great idea. Before we close that portal, I wish to test a theory of mine: EM Wave Dimensional Travel.
A few Picket Men leave, each carrying sacks full of crystals.

I had a feeling that the police force, recent strange weather, and the constant new visitors are all connected to the lab we're driving to, and if what you're saying is correct, then maybe we-

What's up? *BARK*!As 11 looks forwards, he spots a yellow glow. To the others, it's a Merc Joe running straight for them, axe in hand.
Hang on!11 takes control of the car and tries to swerve out of the glow's path...only to near a nearby cliff due to his inability to see.

Roll: POW:20/POW:15. Concrete is able to hold onto the Stalactite.
As Concrete holds onto the Stalactite, the Batton swoops down to take the lantern.

As the Beetle Borg shrugs and hops away, another hopping machine stops him.
