Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!



*ATTENTION, ALL ACTORS*
In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.


Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

gyro-man_alt3Sorry,most of our path forming is left to blast and his explosives,the most I could do is use my gyro attack to chip away at the frozen crystal thingys there is

Concrete almost heads straight for the city, but stops to ponder.
...then again, it ain't like anyone knows me 'round here. Don't want another repeat of last time some folks saw my shadow an hour before sunrise...
He then turns to the cave, and checks the rotting wood.
(Ugh...right in front of the elements. Whoever put these here was either askin' for it or probably on their way out.)

As Acorn leaves the library, he turns his transceiver on.
MIDI, come in. All forces in the hospital, come in. Listen up. It's occured to me that our objective is to stop Regal, yes? Here's the plan. First warm up the hospital, then we explore the wreckage of the lab. Chances are that Regal may of left some clues and since we don't even have a lead, we need to leave no stone unturned.
Boiler Room
Damage Calculations: 5+5=10. Bodge Buster rolled thrice times before landing an enemies favored roll, resulting in the attack to occur 3 times. 10-6=4.
Dodge Calculations: 12-15=-3. No extra die added.
Results: 12 damage was dealt to the first Crystalime, causing it to explode in a pink puff of gas.
As the second slime starts to loosen apart of itself to fire at MIDI, a rose comes into contact with it. The surprise of the rose scares the slime to the point that it splits[Split] itself away from the rose.

For Gyro, I remember you telling me just outside the hospital what his name was. As for you...
Well it's two things really.
First, your model seems identical to this one model I saw in a book.
And two...
Gyro mentioned someone named Dust being good at using their surroundings. I guessed that, based upon your closeness as a group, that might of been you as you fired off a block made out of surrounding books. Course, this was a weak guess on it's own.
(Didn't skip you Mighty, just don't have enough time for the calculations as I have to go. Enemy HP at 12)
Worry not my potential assistant in training, you will be paid in both zenny and in knowledge of how wave technology could work.

MIDI and Star feel themselves warming up...

The Crystalime becomes angry at MIDI and tries to Tackle him.
Damage Calculations: 8+11=19. 19-15= 4.
Dodge Calculations: 15-12=3/6=0.5. Star Man's |All Eyes on Me| kicked in! An extra favored roll was added to MIDI.
Results: The Crystalime jumped forward...and landed on the other side of the room.

Room with Windows
As Taurus G opens the final window, what little smoke remained leaves the room. You can feel the room and yourself start to warm up.
Neptune City, Nightlife, Karun Street
As Heat Man wanders the town, he can feel the stare of eyes from the alleyways, though not at him but rather at what he's carrying. Meanwhile, various Picket Men chatter to one another in various groups. As you come near one, their tones are shushed but otherwise don't seem to notice you.
Neptune City, Nightlife, Ilar Street
As Acorn and crew walk, a slight breeze causes some sand to rise from the ground only to settle back down. Cool blue lamp posts light your way and before long, the hospital comes into sight. Pink fluffy clouds wrap around the building like a snake, causing onlookers to gossip about it, stating it that could be a science project gone wrong or a chemical fire.


Without hesitation, Acorn grabs the door handle to the front door of the hospital and gives it a hard tug, bracing himself for the smoke to come flying out of the entryway...only for it to never come.
Glass Cliffs, Mysterious Entrance
As the planks come off one by one, what sounds like something heavy dropping to the floor echoes from the darkness. Meanwhile, a small boom can be heard from what can only be the outpost.

star begins to move closer to the slime,in order to pick up his rose! Meanwhile blast enters the room through the door and decides that throwing bombs might not be the best idea!
As acorn opens the door,gyro moves Infront of dust and turns around,preparing to use his propeller to try and blow away the smoke,but gives a confused look when the smoke never comes
