Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!



*ATTENTION, ALL ACTORS*
In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.


Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

The mist overtakes Taurus and MIDI, making it hard to see. Warning lights appear indicating their temperatures are lowering. While this is going on, a dripping sound slowly rises in volume...
A group of Ball Mets and Evac Mono Roaders flee from the scene.

I thought my toy was gonna be lost forever but now you found it and everything is awesome again and I'm gonna fulfill my dream as a firefighter and I'm gonna learn to fly which although unrelated to this extinguisher is still something I really really want to do and thank you once more mister! MIDI starts up some performance-intensive games on himself to counter the underheating with overheating, then runs off a level below in the hospital, motioning for Taurus to follow.

Gyroman turns around and activates gyro shred and jumps In front of acorn to shield him!

But before the talon can collide with gyro,a dust crush block was launched out from one of the bookshelf hallways of the library, aimed directly at the armored taloN!
after a few minutes of trying to find a car,blast,star and meddy were now travelling to the hospital,don't ask how,it involved a lot of explosives,but they are on the move towards the hospital

Heater - The user heats them selves up in any cold area, allowing their allies to keep warm. Useful for situations like mountain climbing.

Hospital, Level -1
As you go down, further down into the hospital, pink crystals can be seen along the walls. The smoke seems to block your vision, causing an feeling of uncertainty with every step. The sound of running water can be heard coming from everywhere yet the place feels drier than a desert. Without warning, a splash of some unknown freezing liquid falls onto Taurus.
University Library
As Armored Talon was caught off guard, he only receives one dodge number due to his skill!
With the roll of a dice...the attack hits!
15+7+2(See ability)=24. 24-7-2= 15!
Current HP: 15

Talon, as a result of the Dust Crush, gets sent straight into the Gyro Shred, giving him no time to dodge the attack!
9+3=12. 12-9=3. 3 times 4 equals 12. 12 damage was dealt to Armored Talon!
Due to the Dust Crush, Armored Talon's dive failed to deal any damage to Gyro as he was thrown off course.

MIDI seems to be navigating the halls quite well even without visual, though an inconveniently placed wheelchair or something could obviously throw him off. He's heading for the boiler room.

Gyro paused for a second to register what happened,and then proceeded to jump up and punch the air in celebration while dust walks out from the bookshelf hallway that he was standing in towards acorn

Acorn then notices a book on the ground. He then looks around and sees a condensed block of books along with knocked over bookshelves and cut-up books.

Talon looks up in shock.
You heard me. If we or at least if I help to clean this place up, will you stop attacking us?
The owl thinks for a couple seconds before...

Talon and Acorn then shake hands. Talon then gives Acorn and gang a couple S-Pellets.
Don't ask where I got those.
Acorn, Dust, and Gyro each gained 3x S-Pellets!
MIDI makes it to the door of the boiler room. However, it seems frozen shut.

MIDI: (Okay. So, it's frozen shut and I definitely can't pick the lock as it is. But if it's cold, it's brittle and someone could very easily break it down.)

MIDI uses his visor monitor thing to light up part of the door as best he can, making it a visible target to Taurus.

Star,blast and meddy have now arrived at the hospital! the vehicle they had used appeared to be incredibly worn and busted, and broke into a pile of scrap as soon as it arrived at the hospital
