Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

So this is what's it like...
Oh! To answer your question, consider the following. Imagine a bug in a glass jar. The bug can see clearly through the glass, yes? Now imagine if someone placed a block in the jar and painted the outside of the jar save for a small circle. While the bug can see the cube just fine, they cannot see the outside world unless they look through the circle. Now imagine that the bug is inside of a computer such as yourself. The bug has a perfect view of the inside world that is the computer, BUT unless there is a hole or opening, the bug can't see the outer world just like with the painted jar. While the eyes that make up a computer may help the computer to see, since said eyes have metal plating and circuitry inside, the bug can't see through them since they aren't connected to it's brain, rendering them useless to the bug. In a sense, I am the bug as I can only see the inside of your body with electricity lighting my way.
So with that brief explanation out of the way, where have you decided our first stop should be?

Armored Talon's 10POW+12 from Talon Dive=22. 22-Acorn's STA=10. Total damage is 12.
Acorn tries to roll but with only one dice, he rolls a one.
Acorn was heavily damaged! Acorn's HP fell to 3!
Acorn retaliates by trying to smash(Heavy Smash) Armored Talon into the ground.
23+10=33
33-7=26. Due to Heavy Smash lowering Acorn's AGI to 0 during the attack, Armored Talon's AGI remained at 13. AT gained two dice from dividing 13 by 6 and another one from it's ability.
What bad luck! The attack missed!

MIDI: I'm just cruising the more desolated parts of the city to see if there are any solar panels on the lamp posts.

Damn right thats my friend! and no one harms my friends and lives to tell the tale! gyro then jumps into the air,using his propellor to slow his descent, and then uses another gyro attack to slice the cable connecting one of the hanging lights that was above the armored talon!
dust isn't the only one who can use his surroundings to his advantage!

A brilliant observation! I have a theory about that very same idea! However, I wish to test it on something else as the possibility of permanently overloading your circuits isn't worth having the knowledge straight away.
MIDI finds a lamppost. It seems to still be active! However, a Police Man can be seen on the other side of the street.
Armored Talon tries to fly out of the way...but due to Gyro's speed, the light falls on top of him.

Acorn tries to smash the light and by extension Armored Talon. Due to him being unable to see, Armored Talon only has one favored roll to use!

As Star Man Faust wakes up, he sees the Joe still sitting and listening to the music. However...it seems...different. Star looks to the record player and sees a record placed by it's side with a picture of a horse in the middle.
Hey. That's my record on the side...but then what's playing...
Oh! That's Alexis Kroner Blues Incorporated Blues From The Roundhouse.
Star jumps out of his seat, startling the Joe.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you find this record?

It takes a minute for the Joe to calm down before he presents his shield made out of junk.

Star spots a compartment within the junk shield, revealing various records. Many seem scratched and worn but their still in one piece.
That's a nice collection!

Star sits back into his chair and thinks to himself as the Joe sits back down and sways to the music.
