Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

If you have 8 solar cells and a radio or another transceiver device on you then we can do it now. However, solar cells were hard to come by twenty years ago so I can only fear how many there are now.

Hmm...so I theoretically could hitch a ride within you by using your transceiver...take precaution however; doing this may result in some of your functions to not work properly due to my wave structure interfering with basic functions. As for the power grid...I...may or may not of made my own power grid so that the government couldn't interfere by shutting down the power. Besides, the power my lab requires far exceeds that of your typical solar-powered B9 cell operated generator.

Heat Man, strangely enough, found a second box inside the box sticking out of the cash after investigating the box once more.
The box seemed to have melted from the heat yet hasn't caught fire. A microchip can be seen within albeit covered in wax.

Hmmm...any lampposts, broken down factories, and the Alwayb mines should work. Since the mines were run dry, I'm sure you could find some cells down there in old machinery, though you'll most likely need a light. Also, let me know if you find any other transceivers on otherwise broken machinery. I wish to put into place a theory of mine...
