Story:
The gears of conflict grind once again as a interuniversal faction sets its eyes on a small desolate planet. Though it's resources have long since been mined into exhaustion, the inhabitants have yet to give up hope, wishing on the stars that something frees them from their isolated and lonely fate. Still, others are taking actions into their own hands, doing everything in their power to defend against an foe with unknown and possibly unmatched power. All the while, the skies seem to have grown ever darker. Can the ARDF and everyone else on the planet hope to stand a chance against whatever oncoming danger approaches their way? Tune into find out on: Legacy!

In order to join this forum and get the most out of the forum, it is highly advised you create a character by checking out the rulebook. Another thing I need to state is that this project is intended to be community driven, so any enemies, skills, weapons, equipment, or just about anything you want to create will most likely be added to the project, with credit given if desired. Also, any new data added to one of the databanks will have a |NEW!| next to it.
Commands:
If you wish to view the battle map, type BMAP at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you wish to know where all active playable characters are at, type LIST at the end of your post or simply ask.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Finally, Legacy's purpose is the idea that anyone can be a Director and add pieces to the story. With that said, certain things may be barred, such as having characters from existing media(Mega Man's excluded from this, but even still there are things barred(see rulebook)) or things like spirits and magic. While these could have in-universe explanations, the genre of Legacy is, in a nutshell, Sci-Fi. There's nothing wrong with making a character that could fit in a fantasy setting, but it has to work some way or another. An example is deities. If you wish to introduce them, make them cosmic forces or a rare species or whatever you wish, just please not actual gods. Please understand that despite all that I don't wish to impede creation.

Gyroman takes note of the direction of the hosptial. he then stares at the figure on the roof top, squinting slightly, he moves towards the rooftop, making sure to stay hidden, he then lands on the rooftop behind the figure,and tries to get a look at what he's doing,pulling out a notebook and writing "hooded figure???" on a blank page

Taurus G: Whaddya mean "soldier"!? ???: Well, we haven't had this squadron opened since the war but... you are now a soldier of the recently renamed Anti.Regal.Defence.Force. Since Regal's out there right now, planning something, the big men decided to reopen the force due to fears and concerns in case of any cyborgs or robots Regal made come in and starts causing havoc. Taurus G: ...You're kidding... right? Right? ???: Oh, I WISH I was joking, but unfortunately, no. I'm not joking. Taurus G: Who the hey do ya think you are, punk!? He then tries to ram him, but... ???: You do realize they don't call me General Leo for nothing, right? He then brings out a blade, uncaps the hilt by the middle, and presses a button... Shock! A red field of laser energy starts surrounding General Leo, causing Taurus G to get knocked back a fair distiance! Taurus G: Wha-!? General Leo: And by the way, your base of operations should be built nearby in a few days, so for now, either find a placeholder area, or stay some nights at the local motel. Good luck to you all, and may you find some form of peace in yourselves.

As the flames die out, you feel your power rising! +2POW added! Database updated!
Though the flames still burn on, the smoke stops pouring out of the main door. Though your limited vision, you see wreckage and a round box. Though the rubble seems to have caught on fire, the box seems intact.
Dr. Woe's Lab
As Frostfire Man is unwillingly led into a room, a single large scraping sound silences the Ball Met's pleadings. As both Frostfire and the Met look around, nothing out of the ordinary seems to be notable. Yet it happens again.
There! Did you se-se-see that?

An-an-an intruder hiding under that pile of me-me-metal!
The Ball Met rolls away from Frostfire Man and investigates the pile...A set of tools come out of the top of the Ball Met and starts moving around the metal. Without warning, the pile swallows the Ball Met.
What in tar-?
The same sound from earlier stops Frostfire dead in his tracks as the pile shines two bright eyes. Frostfire readies for a fight as the pile comes to life!
