like two people out of the several hundred here have unlocked and summoned grenade man.. how does that work, do i collect explode type field stars or something and hope he shows up at an extremely low encounter rate or something?
Grenade man CANNOT be encountered currently. He must be unlocked from the challenge mission, Horshoes and Handgrenades. If you need a strategy, I can provide one later
@NintendoPanda101 : incorrect he can be unlocked by going to a field star with the explosion element, its just rng.
@mysticvortex13 :he can be unlocked by going to a field star with the explosion element, or you could just do the challenge and scan him. its how I got him.
@Malware : Panda is correct, grenade can still only be unlocked through his challenge, either by scanning him or defeating him with neutral attacks, you can't unlock him by defeating him outside of this challenge
Grenade Man is showing as "Fightable" in our system which mean he can appear in Explode Fields. I am uncertain if this has been pushed from the developer site to the main site here as it's hard to tell directly if the data is synced.
But as been stated, @mysticvortex13, the best option for finding and unlocking Grenade Man is through the Challenge that NintendoPanda mentioned, Horseshoes and Handgrenades. That is the most efficient way to know you will encounter Grenade Man.
Go to the first level with all the Mets and then use Danger Bomb on them. I did it and I got all the Neutral Cores. Though, it may take a little while, but it work.
