There are more things than just sprites that need to be done. (Field, moveset, mecha etc)

@Reisrat
Adrian can fight the same robots we can. The only difference is that he's unlocked Jewel Man, but nothing else.

That story was fan-made. However that character is around Lv. 100 and has plenty of stat boosts, so I guess you can use that. I've checked your account, and your data does have it. Don't tell anyone! Adrian made it so no one could see if someone has it.

When you finish the met mission, if you're lucky, a message will pop up. Don't focus too much on it though, because it will be added in another update. Do you really need to get it early?
