The pair of friends now stand just outside. They would go in, but the punks outside seem to think differently. They seem pretty tough, for their muscle bulge from their leather jackets.

! She attacks!
The Giant Spider flinches when you do so, and was really not happy about it.
Giant Spider glides on its 8 legs, strafing around Lotus at an unbelievable rate! There's hardly time to react [Roll: 80], but Lotus manages to find a space to jump out right as the spider leaps for a bite, only sustaining a scratch on the leg!
Lotus now stands a few meters away from a spider that now poses a clear threat.
As it now glowers menacingly, it also screeches at you, sending an awful chill down your spine. You didn't even know spiders could screech...
What will you do?

ROTOMSLASHBLAST'S GAME
Lotus stays completely still.
And doesn't budge an inch.
Man, is that thing terrifying.
It has, like, 8 huge beady eyes that absorb the world around it with absolute hate. Lotus can only hope that by standing completely still she's not on its list of things to jack up today.
The abomination approaches slowly, but not sure if you're a threat.
It hardly moves at all. The whole time, its unblinking, agonizingly dead stare locked directly onto you, and it doesn't let up for a second.
Finally, it stands nay but a foot in front of you. Comparing your body sizes it, by length-to-height comparison, is about up to your shoulders. Lying flat, it reaches your waist easily.
The Giant Spider now glares up at you. It does not move. it is as if it is a picture, a painting. Frozen. An image. Unreally still.
