Mighty snaps his fingers, thawing the Chordroids as if it's no biggie. More Chordroids teleport in, absorbing the rain, imploding and taking it with them. Mighty punches Parallel Meta Knight with the concentrated force of approximately 3.801 nuclear warheads.

The Chordroids either troubleshoot whatever errors happen to them or straight-up implode as a new one takes its place. Mighty continues shooting.

Mighty immediately blasts Parallel Meta Knight with a Crystal Eye, followed by Star Blasts of whatever types he's weak to.
The Chordroids connect together, forming a dome to block the hazardous rain.

M: Yes, humanity is jerks, but take into consideration that the Despair Troops who interrupted a possibly fruitful negotiation are artificial humanoids who are also possessed by a demon, okay?

Mighty proceeds to make some Despair Troops implode.

Mighty keeps sitting for a few seconds, completely unresponsive to anything.
...

A flash of light covers the entirety of Popstar, which is now timefrozen. No exceptions besides Mighty in his Celestial Forme. To prevent any BS coming from Grey Matter or the Despair Troops, he also seems to be using the Love-Love Stick as a Hope Energy reservoir.

Fuck you, no.

Time is rewound to just before the Diplomat gets shot, and as it starts moving again the shot somehow hits the red soldier. A battalion of Chordroids teleports in to counterattack the Despair Troops, urging the UKR troops to do the same.

M: Okay, so here's my two cents. If you ever dare to pull an Option B on anyone ever again, I will personally beat Kilroy to death with a copy of the Geneva Convention.
Option A is cool, but only if a majority of the population of a country, who is not kept in the dark about anything, agrees on it. 'Course, be it you or the government, if someone tries rigging the referendum there WILL be consequences. Said majority can also repel any of your laws, which you must announce publicly. In a country under your wing, you have to ensure basic human rights and freedoms(thought, speech, writing etc.) for any sentient being, even artificial ones. Also, if they ask you to leave, you have to. And I'm only cool wih C if it's strictly defensive.
M: And I say this for your good as well as everyone else's: Wherever in your army you find a connection to Dark or Grey Matter, cut it. Nothing good's gonna come from it.

M: Before this conversation goes any further, tell me this. Was it the UKR who thought it was a good idea to hire a literal monkey to kill me?

Mighty frowns, but does not get up.
Every weapon in the invading fleet's arsenal is rigged to heavily harm the person or vessel it's equipped to, and nothing else. Every relevant UKR soldier is aware of this.
You have ruined my vibe and that will not go unpunished. Go ahead. Open fire, if you're that stupid.

As the Halberd is presumably, idk it's brash's thing racing through space towards Popstar, Mighty is watching the stars pass by.

...
*whispers to R.O.B.* Look. You're going to be okay, I'll make sure of it. We can get the Love-Love Stick and solve this in no time, and the worst thing that could possibly happen to you is a little missing time.
We're here for you. Don't lose hope.

So, a trip to Pop Star? That's cool, I've always wanted to go there!
Mighty's ready to give the Halberd's engines enough of a power boost to get from Earth to Pop Star within a few minutes, if necessary.

ooc: shouldn't it be poyo

So they're using us to lower the UKR's morale, and then siphoning the depression-infected life force out of the poor soldiers for their own use.
That's ing disgusting! We need to end this ASAP.
And, since Justice Energy isn't working on this particular Matter, we'll need a source for another energy type.
Specifically, the opposite of Despair. Hope Energy. Has anyone got any ideas for getting a reliable source of that?

Seems there are no other occurrences besides you right now, but it never hurts to double-check...

Mighty pulls out an ancient laptop, connects it to the Halberd's mainframe and furiously types for a minute.
The Chordroids now act as a passive Grey Matter radar linked to the Halberd! They're less precise and have less range individually, but together they can cover most of the Universe.

Mighty tries isolating Bladesmatter's specific frequency so they and Steller(that's the blade's name, right?)still show up on the radar, but are distinguishable from other Grey Matter readings.

Well, I mean, I'm just a normal(citation needed) guy under this armor suit, but I get why you'd be confused.
Anyway, I'm done calibrating the radar and I've taken the liberty of syncing the Halberd's inbuilt one with it, so we should probably see some results right about... now.

Oh, thanks!
Mighty begins calibrating the radar, but stops halfway.
...Wait. If you're part of this Grey Matter, how come you aren't trying to yeet us into oblivion? ...And why do you think we're machines? As far as I know, nobody here fits the bill except R.O.B.
