man yacht club games has really gotten desperate with their adverts, adverting on a weird mega man fangame site and all? oof, man, oof. surely thought they would have a better budget than that

mega man next is a really really bad newgrounds flash game, like, mega man eternal would be a better choice, heck, even mega man 42 is a better choice for a meme fan game to have, man

@Buddy1 : Please don't double post like that. The edit button is a thing, and if all you have to add is a single sentence, then the edit button should be used. The only exception is if you go over the character limit for a very long post, such as those in the Roleplay section. Thanks.

I was never asked for myself or my persona to be put in any of this and nor do I want it to, same for Alto - who goes by Rudy/General now, by the way. Please remove my persona from this. Willing to bet same for Meta as well, but he (and probably rudy, but still was worth mentioning) probably doesn't care all that much.

@Buddy1 : aw jeez it is almost like game development takes time, and the update is completely free yet still has a good amount of content
actually let me just put this into perspective
For Make a Good Mega Man Level Contest 2, I spent about a day and half on my level. That level was badly designed and got in 70th out of 81 entries.
The winning level was made using every single day that the devkit was out, till the end of the submission period. (Or two months)
That was just one level, and a good amount of graphics in that were edits, or just plain reused.
A full campaign in Shovel Knight has 8 levels, a hub area or two, a intro stage, and at least two Wily esque levels. Every stage, sometimes including the hub area, has a boss.

That is tons new graphics, tons of programming, tons of new areas to make, and tons of potential bugs.

I can wait another year because what Yacht Club Games is doing is amazing and sets an great precedent for extra content in games. Again;

@treos123 : Ok so you see that button that says "Scan" in the bottom-left corner? Click that and click on the MM3 bots. Scanning gives all info about a robot master as well, by the way.

@Alicia Nightcap : MMRF? Like Rock Force, the fangame? There is no plans for any fangame robot masters to be added, and as always, most much rather have official game robot masters before fangame and/or original robot masters. As always, reminder that Mega Man 5 has much, much been wanted, along with the games afterwards (6-10, along with & Bass.) Even if we wanted fangame 'masters, there would still be the problem with getting permission from Goldwater, Rock Force's creator. After MaGMML1 though, he has officially said he doesn't want any Rock Force 'masters without his full guidance and all that, which would just be too much trouble for what it would be worth.

Cool, just don't make threads that clutter up the forums with random questions that have nothing to do with Mega Man or Prototype. I'm not repeating myself, but you sure shouldn't give a response like that back, espically after I try to help you here.

First off, there isn't anything to add to this. This thread started off with something that could be asked in a Discord (May I link you to the Shovel Knight Discord? and then continued into a completely unrelated question. When asked to stop, you defend yourself with how I am distracting you. Please, if you have nothing to add, then there is no reason to continue the conversation if you even want to call this that. I agree that Shovel Knight is a cool and fun game and all but if you want to ask small questions about non-Prototype/ non-Mega Man related things, talk about it in the Prototype Discord or the already linked Shovel Knight Discord for Shovel Knight things.

plot: kirby loved everyone to death, now mega man has to do it with uhhhh

shoot all five of the robot masters to make then faint and then you get their friendship powers
cut man: he shoots rolling cutter, woahhhhhh, shoot him to kill him

yamato man: he pokes you to death, poke him to love him more, like the pure creature he is

We really need a far better way to show how to unlock MM3 bots in game. The way they are currently are unlocked is confusing and a good majority of folks have had to ask how to unlock them.
