Metal Sonic returns to the group with the Cyan and Purple Super Emeralds in hand.
That should be all of them. Now we just need to regroup with the rest of- ...well, while you're talking, let me just check with my team. Crescendo, are you back where we said to regroup? 
Yes. So quit pestering me. Metal lets out...the equivalent to a sigh as he switches to Schmitt.
Schmitt, do you copy?! I don't care if you've only got five Chaos Rings at this point, if you're not there we can't use- 
MS, calm down, I'm fine. I just ended up jumping through some portal by accident, but I got the last Chaos Ring, so it's all good. ...didn't you say you saw the Gold Chaos Ring before your transmission cut off? Schmitt, what was in that portal? 
A lot of weird things, actually; there were birds turning into fish and then back into birds, half-pipes in the sky, red balls and UFOs everywhere, some sort of purple wolf-jerboa guy... ...that's all I needed to know. Thank you. Make sure to meet back up with Crescendo. ...son of a

Y'know, there's something funny about all this. I used to have a lot of trouble adjusting to Gensokyo because I was so used to the Outside World... 
...but just as I'm getting used to Gensokyo, it's the Outside World that changes so radically. 
I suppose in hindsight we should've gotten the hint when people just started wandering past the Great Hakurei Barrier like it was nothing... 
Whoah! Lady Suwako, do you think that's what I think it is?

So, the final three Super Emeralds... They're located in what remains of the Wily Star. We have no time to lose. On his way, he activates his communicator...
Schmitt. Crescendo. How are your hunts for the Chaos Rings and Crystal Stars going? 
Yeah, I got all seven Crystal Stars. It took no effort, and frankly I'm still mad about it. Doesn't help that someone thought they were being a real clever jokester by putting the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Crystal Stars at Sky Pillar. Yeah, I'm just about done grabbing Chaos Rings; Purple took a bit, but Pink and Blue were an absolute cakewalk. And the Gold one's right here, so I'll just grab it and- A warping noise can be heard from Schmitt's signal...

A rose made of magic energy appears in the center of the crater, and spirals outward, scattering knife danmaku everywhere!
Before the danmaku can fly past the crater, Daiyousei cancels the Spell Card.

As Metal Sonic reaches Zebes, he gives directions to Sonic and Tails.
I'm picking up several life signs from the planet, but they seem to be typical wildlife... But this gives us no less of a reason to make this a fast trip. You two look in Crateria, where Tourian first was; I'll be in Norfair. Incomplete Doppler Labs
As Rika is building the rest of the lab's electronics, the remaining team (save for Bandanna Dee, Rumia, and Chunky) watches the Aeons fight Duracell on the small monitor.
Duracell's still probably going to be finding another opponent soon... 
What do you mean? They just dodged that entire laser. I think they're safe. They still have a massive disadvantage against Duracell. Even if Parallel 1 and Legacy were fighting at the same time as the current three, that'd be true. Because it's clear how much Energy they have. No matter what they dodge, it's always going to be evident how close to death they are. The same can't be said about Duracell. I wonder if anyone has his level of willpower...

Rika's just finished building the walls and doors of the laboratory.
There we go! Nice, sturdy, triple-layer Ceratanium. Even gave it a little extra barrier coating. The foundation's 100% crying-Kiddy-proof. 
...honestly surprised how high "screaming ape child" is in resistance testing...even beat out pretty much every default level ability Dyna has without the Supercharge...

Metal Sonic flies a few miles around Sonic and Tails, trying to pick up a signal...eventually flying back to them.
These Super Emeralds truly are in the strangest of locations... I don't know how the planet is active, but my radar's picking up two Super Emeralds, each at opposing ends of Zebes. Knowing those who once lived on there, leaving them unattended on that planet would be even worse than an Eggman finding it. COLLECTIBLES:

...well, first of all, I haven't been near the Master Emerald at any point. I knew perfectly well that someone would start up conflict if I did so. Second of all, these aren't Super Emeralds in the same sense as those you used against Robotnik when he first attacked Angel Island. They take on the same larger, brilliant diamond cut appearance, have the same colors, and inherit the same power from the Master Emerald and Special Stage... ...but they seem to have created themselves independently from the Chaos Emeralds. Why this happened I don't know, but regardless, we need them to strengthen participants in the fight against Regulus who aren't on the same level as, say, Super forms, Full Release forms, Celestial Formes, or even Supercharges. And you probably hate this as much as I do, but we need as much cooperation as possible to hold even half of a fighting chance against Regulus. That's why I searched for the Super Emeralds - the Chaos Emeralds, Master Emeralds, Chaos Rings, or anything that can be found on Earth would immediately cause people to react to me for my past act- (Event Theme) ♫ Star Fox 64 - Boss A (Spyborg Phase 2 Version) ♫

Well, as we wait for acceptance or denial from Sleet Man, we will move on to the next step: finding assorted objects of power. You gave yourself the voice box to talk like a human, use it to talk like a human. ...I doubt I need to tell you about the Chaos Emeralds or the Master Emerald. They're more common knowledge in these worlds than even that loathsome copy of mine. But there are many more. The Banana Coins and the Chaos Rings* are among those I guarantee exist on Earth, but there may be more... Like what? From what my Robotnik gave me, we could be finding things such as Time Stones, Super Emeralds, Sol Emeralds, Crystal Stars, and Rainbow Drops. Our mission is to collect all of each and have them ready for those who need the power boost in the moment of truth. With eight exceptions: the Chaos and Master Emeralds stay where they are. The seven Chaos Emeralds are likely needed to empower my fake and his friends, and the Master Emerald shouldn't be relocated, lest we face the wrath of Chaos or any other guardians. Speaking of which; Schmitt, I'm counting on you to search for the Chaos Rings. I have a transformation reliant on them, but even if I weren't to use it over one of my other stronger forms, the idea that I could use them would complicate the mission. Crescendo, you're in charge of tracking down the Crystal Stars. They should be the most accesible of the collectibles, so you'll likely have the least problems finding them. I will be collecting the Super Emeralds. Their whereabouts have been unknown ever since Robotnik's first attack on Angel Island, so I'm likely going to have to search through space - or even Dimensions - to find them. Lastly, Unbeatable Air: Which group of collectibles you wish to track down is your choice. Do keep in mind, though, that the Sol Emeralds may belong to someone else, and the Time Stones will likely be found at different periods in time. In fact, if you see it fit, I will allow you to pick a set of collectibles outside of my knowledge, as long as moving them won't instigate conflict among others. So what, you're expecting to find 4 people who are on the same level as Metal Man? Like I said, we're looking for people who could benefit from either or both. If we can't find anyone who benefits from both, we'll have to settle for those who desperately need one or the other. 
From underground, Metal Sonic scans the planet to see if he can track down Air and/or Sleet Man, albeit willing to pick someone else to wield the Medallions if a response isn't heard soon enough.
OOC: Just in case GammaGuardian is inactive for too long for Air to accept or decline the offer.

...so, the key to all this is that anyone can be what they want, right? 
Clearly that leads to reckless scenarios nonstop. Why should anyone stay here? Why should this Dimension exist? 
...one thing that extends across the entire Multi-Omniverse is imbalance. 
You're both familiar with the idea of someone trying to tilt the scales in their favor, are you not? You've been around to see what Junko and Seija want. Not all of the Omniverse is ready for that. And when someone does come in to tilt their scales, it not only furthers imbalance, but leaves that whole Dimension in stress and disarray. A Dimension like this allows freedom. It allows those who want to release the power otherwise prone to imbalance do so while keeping things...somewhat balanced. Is it an ideal solution? Obviously not. There are still people who want to tip the scales or forgo them altogether. But it's the best thing we can do. If this Dimension is somehow destroyed, with nobody agreeing to restore it, another one just like it will be built. It's happened before.
