Dark Elf is healed by the Slap.
Interestingly enough, I did fight a deaf person before. Admittedly I had help from a group of four, but if I was alone, I'd have fought them like this...
Dark Elf closes a 100-Layer Jammer Wall in on Duracell!
...and this...
Dark Elf smacks Duracell with 950 Slammer Walls!
...and this!
Dark Elf casts Second Verse on Duracell!!!
Also, I recall you saying these battles were to the death/forfeit.
So if you're so keen on activating that bomb...
Said bomb is erased from existence.
...you forfeit, do you not?
Which means, one way or another, you failed.
We've been waiting for the next step of Regulus' plan for quite some time. How long are you going to keep us in the dark?

New Jammer Wall Power Levels: Default, 20-Layer, 100-Layer
Swagger: (Attack) The user forces the opponent to attack, and also leaves them Confused.
Slammer Wall: (Shield/Impact) The user summons a wall of Garbage Puyo and slams it into the opponent.
Second Verse: (Weapons/Shadow) The user repeats whatever the most painful attack dealt to the opponent was. If the opponent has never taken damage in their current form, they will be hit with an attack equal to 100x the strength of the last thing that hurt them.

What were you expecting? A giant Wario head? A handgun for me to "delet" things with? An Omniversal macguffin nerfing everyting and using Hakai on you?
Dark Elf disables all but one of Duracell's abilities with a One-Note!!
Sorry, but when I attack, my priority is to make the moment count.
She then tries to crush Duracell by closing in a 20-Layer Jammer Wall!!!
One-Note: (Level/Crystal) The user disables all of the opponent's abilities with one random exception.
New Jammer Wall Power Levels: Default, 20-Layer
Jammer Wall RECAP: (Shield/Shadow) Inherited from Harpy. Traps the target in a thick cylinder of Garbage Puyo.

Dark Elf lets the Death Beams breeze past her with no effect. She then turns to Duracell's rather narcissistic idea for an audience.
Don't worry. The battle has only begun.
The songstress turns back to the true Duracell, and casts a Solo Performance to empty the crowd!!
She proceeds to sends the real deal underground with a Low Note!!
Solo Performance: (Damage/Shadow) The user erases any clones, projectiles, etc. created by the target.
Low Note: (Earth/Shadow) The user sings a deep song to phase the opponent below the ground. How deep they go depends on the power level.

Duracell's Arena
We won't hold back. And we don't expect you to, either.
Dark Elf opens the battle by setting Duracell ablaze with a Tera Searing Symphony!!
(Battle Theme) ♫ Naxat Super Pinball: Jaki Crush - Unknown Song 1 ♫
New Searing Symphony Power Levels: Default, Tera
Searing Symphony RECAP: (Flame/Shadow) A shrill melody that ignites anyone or anything it targets.

Outside Doppler Labs

The Rayquaza hologram is down to its last sliver of health...
Here goes!
Bandanna Dee just barely air dodges a final Future Sight from the sky dragon and pierces its skull with a Moon Drop!!!
Good work. You are free to watch the rest of us or wait elsewhere.
Rumia, you're up next.
So do I just need to take down a big monster like Dee did?
No. I've planned these out to match your strengths and weaknesses.
Since you hail from Gensokyo, you are no doubt used to the idea of overwhelming opponents with projectiles, and avoiding even faint hits.
Fighting Wireframes begin to appear on the arena...
I want to make sure you're able to use such strategies even against 100 of the Cruelest opponents.

Duracell's Arena
Sounds like a plan.
Dark Elf flies down with Mighty.
So, Duracell, to answer the question you asked yourself: Yes, I'm here to introduce someone. And along the way, someone else, as well.
Dark Elf floats in the air, just above the ground.
Your next challengers.

Dark Elf | Level: N/A | Energy: Countless | Attack: Aggressive | Defense: Protective | Speed: Evasive

Future Sight: (Crystal/Time) The user looks into the future, both invoking and predicting a great disaster that strikes the target mere seconds later.
Moon Drop: (Cutter/Earth) The user thrusts their spear downward, sending them careening to the ground.

(Character Theme) ♫ Madou Monogatari: Hanamaru Dai Youchienji - Dragon's Shrine ♫
...
Sensing Mighty, Dark Elf flies up to him in the atmosphere...
...I realize we both have certain plans once the tournament starts again.
Should we decide who gets their turn first, or do we want to make this a 2v1?
Before Mighty answers, Dark Elf awkwardly clarifies:
Uh...not as in one of us teaming up with Duracell. As in us teaming up with each other.

Like 99% Complete Doppler Labs
Rika just needs to add one more security camera and a CRT
Wait, so did that count as Trimarc losing or...?
I dunno, man. Seems like the meme dude was about to blow up before the commercial break.
It seems like he did explode, but I can't yet say if that was a comeback or his death. Dark Elf seems to be unharmed, though...

Outside Doppler Labs

Meta Knight is standing outside with the five former HEX Adaptor infectees.
It has come to my attention that none of you have particular skill in battle outside of the incident with the HEX Adaptors.
And because of that, I will serve as your teacher, training you for judgement day so that we can wield the gavel.
Wait, Sir Meta Knight, how strong are you?
Yeah, I'm asking that too. Though in less of a "curious kid" way and more of a "I want to make sure this is a good idea" way.
Hup! (Don't worry! Meta Knight's got this!)
Yoshi
Ravenous Islander
*boop* (Indeed. Yoshi and I fought against and alongside him before. He's a formidable opponent.)
R.O.B.
The Last Robotic Operator
How strong Meta there?
Well, I'm aware that not all of you watched the tournament, mainly for your own innocence.
But I do want to point out the fearsome warrior "Hiyaa" who appeared there.
He's one of the most dangerous opponents to ever participate in an out-of-ring fighting tournament...
Meta Knight creates a flat arena below himself and his students...a Final Destination.
...but when I participated in the Brawl tournament, the world learned I was, in more ways than one, a "Meta Knight".
A hologram replica of Rayquaza appears.
What you see here is the Sky High Pokemon as they fought during Tabuu's attempted conquest; one of their most resilient comings yet.
Bandanna Waddle Dee, this is your opponent. Remember; to the death.
...Okay...
Bandanna Waddle Dee
Loyal Friend to Pop Star

Duracell's Arena

As the commercials roll, Dark Elf steps up to Duracell's arena.

Mega City Ruins

Metal Sonic flies between Uam and Sanae.
We don't need to go through this again.
Metal Sonic turns to Sanae and Suwako.
Listen. This may be hard to believe, but we're not here to cause conflict. In fact, that's why we've been laying low this whole time.
You have the Rainbow Drops, don't you?
Wh-how do you know?!
I sensed all seven within mere inches of each other. It only made sense that they'd be held by someone.
Regardless, we've been gathering them - and all else we have with us - because there are many people who need them.
Regulus is coming. And if we aren't all at peak performance, it's End of Roleplay for all of us.
But just each of us using our existing powers isn't enough. Many of us will need a boost; a boost that these artifacts will provide.
For whom? I can't say for sure. But when the time comes, there will be people fighting against Regulus who will be using them.
Sanae and Suwako calm themselves.
...well, if we need to build an army, we might as well stop laying low.
Most of you don't have the best public images, but Sanae and I do. As long as we can explain, what's stopping us?
Well, waiting for the hedgehog and fox, for-
You know what I meant.

How much damage did that do??
Given his track record, probably like 70.
Why are none of you asking where Dark Elf went?!

Mega City Ruins
So which one of us is the errand boy this time, scraphog?
Growing increasingly irritated by Crescendo's constant backtalk, Metal Sonic waits a moment before answering his question.
I'm not sure if this will be a worldwide search like with the previous items.
On my way to Earth, I noticed the Sol Emeralds and the Rainbow Drops were located close to each other, around Earth.
Considering the Sol Emeralds were in Fang and Orange's hands, I suspect the Rainbow Drops are likewise being-
As if to prove Metal's point before he finished making it, Sanae and Suwako burst through the ceiling!!!
What kind of nonsense are you freaks trying to pull?!?!
Sanae lunges at Metal Sonic, Crescendo, Schmitt, Uam, Orange, and Fang, ready to swing her gohei!!!

Mega City Ruins
Before we do anything else, let me just get Unbeatable...
Metal Sonic flies back to the Wily Star Ruins, and brings Unbeatable Air back to Earth after failing to realize he wasn't capable of easy space travel.
So, as I was about to say, Fang...
Metal Sonic clenches a fist, but lowers it before he does anything he might regret.
At any earlier time I wouldn't have hesitated to kill you. But not only do we need to work together to even try against Regulus, you helped with the cause by finding roughly four of the Sol Emeralds for us.
Hey! I found the Cyan one when he did!!
...hence the "roughly", Orange. And I have less of a reason to attack you than Fang despite doing the same amount of work.
Now all that's left are the Rainbow Drops...

Outer Space
So, you think it's best we head back to Earth to figure out what these rainbow things do?
I mean, yeah. A lot of important people are-
From above the planet's atmosphere, Sanae notices several colorful glows; green, cyan, blue, purple, yellow, red, orange, gray/white, and pink, all coming from what seem like gemstones...
...I feel like whoever has those is the person we're looking for, one way or another.
Readying her gohei, Sanae heads down to Mega City, with Suwako following right behind her...

Mega City Ruins

Fang and Orange are scrambling for a recess to protect themselves from Burial Moth.
Quick! In here!!
The Sol Emerald-wielding duo find a cave, and leap in!
Phew! I'm glad we're safe.
...hey, what's that look for?
Orange and Fang find themselves facing three robots who are also wielding collectibles.
...
Well, at least we know where the Sol Emeralds went.

Earth's Crater

The crater is about 5 times deeper than before.
So, this is my last Spell Card. I just need to think of something better than what I did combined and-
Daiyousei, no.
But didn't you say I needed to use all of them now so we have them for Regulus?
For the most part, yes. But for that last one: If you're to have an ultimate attack against Regulus, using it here or now will likely leave you too exhausted to use it at the most important time, or cause collateral damage even if we stay in the crater.
You've invented the idea for the spell. For now, let's return to Doppler Labs.

Dangerous Dinner

Sanae and Suwako have been using ability after ability to get through every line of defense.
Just one more...
Esoterica "Nine Syllable Stabs"
A stream of lasers pierce and shatter the Needle Blocks. Behind them is the final Rainbow Drop.
That's the last one! We did it!!!
Sanae looks down at the seven Rainbow Drops for a minute, then looks to Suwako.
...I don't actually know what these things do.

Am I seriously the only story-overseeing being here outside of the Trio of Origin and Great Entity who has some idea what having a heart means?!

Cranky, you were providing no help.
Against all odds, you've managed to avoid the hints - or rather, hard evidence being shoved in everyone's faces - that Regulus has no belief in diplomacy. He has no belief in anything other than death, destruction, and maybe conquest.
No matter what you do, you're talking to a wall. A wall that happens to be an ancient being of pure hatred, at that.
So go back to tinkering with potions in your little cabin. Or wherever the heck you are, because frankly, I've lost track of how much bull you get yourself into.

Metal Sonic returns to Crescendo and Schmitt, who have collected all of the Crystal Stars and Chaos Rings, respectively.

Outer Space

As Metal Sonic continues to Earth, he checks his radar, and realizes something...
...wait a minute, why are the Sol Emeralds and Rainbow Drops so close together?

Abandoned Colony

Sanae and Suwako have sped up their Rainbow Drop[/c] collection significantly, with only two left...one of which they're currently struggling to reach.
[ I don't get it! We used [b]earth, fire, electricity, needles AND blades...]{wind_nature}
What else is there?!
Suddenly, Kogasa appears behind them!
Got you covered!
Umbrella Sign "Flurry Travelers"
Hundreds of umbrellas fly across the colony, with one of them breaking the wall blocking the sixth Rainbow Drop!
The last one's gonna need you to use all of them, but don't worry; I got the parasol blocks there too. See ya!
Before Sanae or Suwako can even turn around, Kogasa's gone.
...?!

With the Yellow Sol Emerald now in his collection, Fang sees the Cyan Emerald not too far away...
Hah! Already I've got four!

With the Purple Sol Emerald now in her collection, Orange sees the Cyan Emerald not too far away...
All right! A fourth one!

This is almost too good to be-

Wily Star Ruins
So, before we look for the rest of the collectibles, we should head back to Mega City to check on Crescendo and Schmitt.
Metal Sonic flies down to Earth, expecting Sonic, Tails, and Unbeatable Air to follow.
Snow Planet

Suwako is using her "Magma Amphibian" Spell Card to keep herself and Sanae warm.
Brr...no wonder nobody's visited this place in two months*! It's barren and frigid!
Just be glad that we didn't have to head to Neptune...
As Sanae huddles close to Suwako, she sees a stack of perfectly-aligned ice blocks.
That doesn't look normal.
Probably isn't.
One of the fireballs from the Spell Card lands on the ice blocks, melting them to reveal the second Rainbow Drop underneath!
Finally! Let's get out of here!

Fang is now strolling along a cliff, having found the White Sol Emerald along the way.
Heh, they're giving out gems like they're candy!
He then turns and sees a small girl in a cave, and hides behind a rock to look in unnoticed.
Who's that kid? What's she tryin' to do with that stick o' hers?
Fang notices the girl's trying to toss her baton in the air to knock loose the Red Sol Emerald from the top of the cave, to no avail.
Poor girl can't aim to save her life! Might as well teach her a thing or two...
Fang fires a Quick Cork at the Emerald!
The Emerald breaks out of the cave roof, and Orange catches it!
Yeah! Got it on my first try!
Orange then flies out of the cave, unaware that it was actually a cork that knocked the Emerald loose...

Time Stones: 7/7 (7 w/ Unbeatable Air)
Super Emeralds: 7/7 (7 w/ Metal Sonic, Sonic, and Tails)
Chaos Rings: 6/6 (6 w/ Schmitt)
Sol Emeralds: 4/7 (2 w/ Fang; 2 w/ Orange)
Crystal Stars: 7/7 (7 w/ Crescendo)
Rainbow Drops: 2/7 (2 w/ Sanae and Suwako)
Quick Cork: (Missile/Swift) Fang fires a super fast cork from his popgun. Can't be fired rapidly, but has perfect accuracy.
