David was walking upon the trail leading up to the Mansion. Out of all mansions listed in his small novel of mansions, the most grand and intricate mansion just so happened to be the closest to him! The small photograph of the mansion showed a large, luxurious building with tons of people flooding into it just to try and get a look of the interior. Although the photograph was taken in the early 90s, the mansion would mostly look the same, right?

As David reached the mansion, it was still in its glory. No stains, nothing breaking down, no paint chipping away, but the lack of people was just unsettling. There were, of course, a few animals running about, and the occasional ghost just floating around. There was also an oddly Jerry Seinfeld-like Cheetah stuck on top of the weeping willow, screeching at the top of his lungs as well, but maybe that was normal. On the subject of humans, though, there was a severe lack of humans present, it just seemed as it the mansion was overrun by animals. Perhaps there would be any people inside?

@Charchar : Storung was being confronted by Owen (oh, the horror)! He was rather startled from seeing Charon run away, but he wasn't too phased by her actions, and turned back to Storung.
"Well, at least you seem to wanna help me find my father. He's usually down in the Chef's Room but I have no idea where that is. I don't even know where I am!" Owen scurried up to sit on Storung's shoulder, nervously looking around. "Now, w-we should probably get inside before-" Owen was cut off by a loud, fan-like sound in the distance.

It was an aircraft! A small, car-like vehicle was floating in the air via a very, very large amount of air conditioning fans taped to it flew menacingly over the trees. The craft then got proceedingly closer to Storung and Owen, the craft itself stopping when it was close to the two, now hovering over them.
The door of the aircraft opened up, revealing a short, angry-looking woman with bright pink hair. She held what looked like a toy laser gun in her hand, and pointed it at Owen.
"Owen, you little rat! I've told you for the hundredth time not to chew on any of the wires in the Engineering Room, and you go and ruin the wires for our newest computers!" The short, angry girl had to keep back a few tears. "I spent over 50,000 Zenny on it!"

-There is a small, golden trap door on Floor 1 that leads to another basement area, similar to the Cat Village. However, the trapdoor requires a password to open up. Fortunately, the trapdoor has a Cryptic Hangman programmed into it: a weak enemy that will only be defeated when given the password (via the game, hangman). It gives clues to the password, but severely punishes the player for incorrectly guessing the word.

Eventually, the conversation between Storung and Charon seemed to annoy the Kinky Pelican. He was slightly angery and just decided to storm away, leaving two pieces of Plain Cheesecake on the ground for Storung and Charon to take.
The two might have thought that was the end of their encounter with the pelican... until they heard a loud screECH coming from the Kinky Pelican's direction. He then started flying back into the garden as fast as possible, screaming at the top of his lungs as he tried batting what looked like an otter off of him.
"Please get off of me, I have a family I need to take care of!" the Kinky Pelican cried, but his pleads for mercy seemed to fail, as the otter started trying to gnaw the Kinky Pelican's face off. Eventually, the pelican was able to toss the otter off of his face and flew into the forest as fast as he possibly could, sobbing to himself from the physical, mental, and emotional health damage that was inflicted upon him.

As the otter was tossed onto the grass, he started to roll around in said grass until he ran into Storung. He got up and smiled up to the German adult and the extraterrestrial child before him.
Lovely Otter "Wow! Hello there! I haven't seen you here before! My name is Owen!" Owen shook Storung and Charon's hands vigorously. The otter seemed very happy to meet the two, although he probably had made a bad first impression from assaulting an innocent pelican before their eyes. Owen then looked up to Storung, staring into his soul eyes.
Lovely Otter "I don't mean to bother you and your... daughter... granddaughter? ... But I think I have lost my father. We were just walking in the garden, and either I wandered off or he just disappeared. Could you help me find him?" Poor Owen wouldn't be able to survive one night outside. He'd need someone to help him get back to his father.

Charon emerged from her pod and landed on the ground. When she looked to see her pod, it was caught in some trees and everything around it was on fire. Charon knew that this was a bad thing, not only because everything was on fire, but everyone in the Garden was watching her as well. They didn't seem to notice the fire too much, except for a child who just looked to the fire and said: "Nice."

Fortunately for the alien, Charon knew a Psychic technique that could get rid of the fire. With a bit of concentration, Charon cast PK NeptuneWave α! [-3 PP]



Similar to a high tide, a low, lazy wave of water emerged onto the scene. It was able to successfully put out the fire, leaving only two or three trees severely damaged.

Then, out of the corner of her eye, Charon caught sight of a German twink talking to a pelican. Of course, Charon probably didn't know that, and only knew that it was a man talking with an avian creature. After a few minutes of reassuring to herself, Charon hovered over to him, and shyly greeted

@Charchar : Storung! Storung was being ravaged by the rabid pelican (probably,) and was greeted by this new creature. She didn't seem too harmful, and didn't really have any weapons on her, which meant that she most likely wouldn't attack Storung. The Kinky Pelican, however, decided to greet Charon, using his seduction skills.

"Are you wearing space pants? Because, uhh, you have nice legs~" he then pointed finger guns at Charon.

Floor 2 was simply a long hallway with five or so doors leading to other rooms. In the lobby was the [Robot Assist and Battlechip Merchant,]{electic} with a kiosk filled with the small, trading card-like chips.

Doors
Laundry Room- Often has bits of Zenny and upgraded Zenny Radars lying around. It's been long abandoned though, and those who enter it might be attacked by a weak opponent.

Fat Dragon's Dungeon- Not really a dungeon, but more of a room that the Fat Dragon sleeps in. He guards Adrian's collection of inhalers, and will let visitors go fishing in the small lake in his dungeon.

Staircase - Leads to Floor 3

Mr. Baudelaire's Room- The Mansion's accountant. He's a lynx that works from 9 to 5 and loves his job more than he loves his own child. People can deposit Zenny into his bank and will get a small (4%) interest on it per turn.

Garden - Leads to the Garden. It has a ton of free food and is one of the more peaceful parts of the Mansion. It is currently blocked by Storung and Charon, who seem to be talking to a Pelican. If he really wanted to, Pixel could sneak around the group and enter the Garden.

It can be raised either by fixing broken items, bartering or haggling with other merchants or players, or defeating an intelligent enemy.

@NiceIce : NiceIce then entered the room, guns a-blazing to meet whatever monster was up ahead. However, in the room was only a single rose. If NiceIce were to get near the rose, he would see the flower part of it turn around to meet NiceIce. However, the core of the flower was completely black, almost black hole like. Then, a goat's head appeared within the emptiness and eventually started growing larger within the area until he popped out from the flower. Eventually, there was a large, goat-like figure standing in front of NiceIce. He had large, thorned vines growing on his horns and wore a full body cape consisting of brightly colored flower petals. Seeing NiceIce, he only waved and smiled.
"Oh, hello there. I am Gary, I suppose you can say I'm the boss of this dungeon area? Anyway, you look like a rather strong individual, and since I haven't had many people to talk to, it'll be nice to challenge you! Just, let me get this place prepared before we battle."
Gary pulled out a Nature Starforce 0.5 from within his cape and tossed it in the sky, letting it hang in the air. A bright green flash covered the room, and a large barrier of thorns covered the outer area of the room, and Nature efficiency was boosted!

@Pixel23 : Pixel entered the kitchen. Overall, the kitchen was rather messy, looking as if it was thrashed by some sort of monster (which it was) and the walls were covered in various tomato sauces. If Pixel were to walk further into the kitchen, he would see a lone plate of spaghetti sitting on a counter. The plate then slowly started to move about, and two legs started to form at the bottom of the plate, revealing its true self!

@Walter : The second that Proto dabbed, an endless ocean of guilt and shame filled his body. He would've probably been ostracized if someone saw him, but luckily no one was around to see his sinful deed, so nothing too bad happened to him.

Okay, I'm sorry for the three or so hour delay between the two posts. I know that no one really posted in between that delay, but just so I don't have an anxiety attack over it, please make sure not to post until I respond to everyone and get the player info page up (unless if another solar eclipse happen soon, the whole process should only take an hour at the very most)

@Beta Man : "Oh, you've worked with stuff like this, then? That's pretty interesting..." Mikey set the Wonder-Core back onto the table, heading back into the other room in order to obtain another core. This time, it was a bit larger than the last Wonder-Core, and was a dark red color, with a purple mist floating about inside.
"Okay, this is the first- and only- Wonder Core that holds a natural dimension, as the other ones held dimensions that Panda and I created. I'll just show you a quick glimpse of what it looks like..." With the glove, Mikey traced the outline of a square on the core, with made it show a projection of the dimension within...
The projection was of a small town in a cold, snowy area. The town consisted of a few houses, a small convenience store, a library, and a fast food place. However, about a block away from the town was an observatory with a large, glass dome over it.
"This is the only natural dimension I've been able to find. Does this look anything like where you lived? If not, I have an idea of how we can find your dimension..." Mikey adjusted his glasses, looking further into the core. "Making a Wonder-Core that can link to a specific dimension is rather difficult, but only if you don't have the proper tools.
There's a scientist down there that has a set of Inter-Dimension Parts, I'll contact her to give them to you. And since you were able to exit your dimension from a portal, I'd imagine you might be able to find some sort of item that holds a connection to your universe in here. Perhaps a recipe for your favorite food, or a copy of an article clothing that a friend of yours wore... Something like that?" Mikey set the core back down on the table, then closed the projection.
"Anyway, would you like to tell me a bit about the world you lived in? Perhaps I can help you locating the item you'd need to make sure you'll return back where your home is?"

@Charchar : Heck yeah!

Storung headed inside of the mansion, possibly due to the fact that there was no way to return home. He had been trying to suppress his magic powers for a while, which had left the gem on his collar to slowly lose its color and shape. It had used to be a red, pentagonal(?) gem with an evil looking swirl inside of it, but had now turned into a clear, flat gem, with a small blue speck inside. Even though Storung only knew how to properly know how to use a basic Teleport spell, Storung always had the ability to relearn any magic he forgot by reading one of the many spooky magic books he owned. But now, he was without his books, being unable to relearn any magic powers he had, and it's completely possible that no one in the mansion even knew how to read at all!

The inside of the mansion wasn't as scary looking as the outside. The Lobby was even kind of inviting!The room was lit by an extravagent chandelier, and a lion with a paper bow tie sat at the other end of the room, selling various pastries. There were four other doors in the lobby, along with a staircase leading up. Storung then heard a small, wispy voice behind him.

"Welcome, welcome! Are you new to the mansion?" If Storung were to look behind him, he'd see a ghost wearing a little red had and a black bowtie. He flashed Storung a smile. "How are you today?

@Beta Man : At the mention of inter-dimensional portals, Mikey's glasses flashed a bit.
"Inter-Dimensional Portals? Well... Panda and I have been working on a few portals of sorts, well, it depends on your definition of portals..." Mikey grabbed a purple glove and put it onto his right hand. He then headed into another room. After about a minute or so, Mikey came out holding a small, basketball-sized orb. It was mainly black, with an odd, purple mist floating about inside of it. It beared a heavy resemblance to a robot core...

"I've been working on this for months now, all the way back in February! This thing here, is called a Wonder Core, and it may look very similar to a robot's core, but it actually holds something much more than that! Inside each of these cores is what we call a microcosm, or another dimension held within a smaller object within a much larger dimension. Now, keep in mind that not all of these are man-made, and a lot of them are much less linear than this Mansion, so it can get kind of hard to keep track of yourself inside of a microcosm..." With the red glove, Mikey poked at the Wonder Core. The core showed a projection of the dimension within...
It was a town set among the desert. It seemed to be very similar to Ancient Egypt, with a variety of small, stone houses among an endless, sandy area, and a large, oversized temple. There was a group of people building a rather tall, thin structure out of stones and in front of it, a fox and a panda were talking to a lion, who was wearing rather extravagant clothing. They appeared very similar to the Guardian animal of their species, it was almost uncanny.

"As you can see, this microcosm shows a dimension that is as technologically advanced as Ancient Egypt was in out dimension. This is a manmade microcosm, of course, as those characters down there look very similar to the Guardians in this mansion. I have about four of these Microcosms in total, but only one is a natural Dimension which means that'll most likely get you on the track home... Would you like me to explain more about these? I know that it's hard to wrap your brain around these types of things,"
