UNLOCKED: Elemental Prestige at the End of Time!

Ran by Gaspar and Spekkio, you can use elemental essences to unlock some brand-new Artificial Elements!

Click here for more information, as well as to see how much essence you have to spend. Be sure to read the Prestige Rules before buying anything!

Comments have been turned on, so if you have any ideas for artificial elements, feel free to share!

Need a little help in gathering essence? The Crown Coin Shop has what you need!

For 5 Crown Coins, you can buy one of two items to help boost Elemental Essences:

Elemental Essence Absorber - Doubles how much damage goes into gathering essence from all players, but for a single element.
Near-Field Essence Absorber - Doubles how much damage goes into gathering essence for all elements, but for a single player.

You may have only ONE of these two items during a single raid, and you can only have one or the other. Additionally, Sigils for M1K3 and the SaFRs have been added. (There seems to be something keeping Theta from making a Sigil for QA's Fun-Ruining Mind, however...)

Oh no. What's this guy been up to...?

TRBF seems to have been a bit busy, it seems; It appears he's made 3 brand-new items for himself... Including one that can be bought by Raiders, as well? Seems a bit suspicious, if you ask me... Just what sort of ideas has the SaFRs gave him?

It would seem he expanded his Sigil collection, as well; He seems to have gotten better luck in making a Sigil for QA... As well as a certain other Raid Boss that alluded the Sigil treatment.

The Anti-Item Shop is back in business!

I've been a bit neglectful to the Anti-Item Shop... or, more specifically, to the challenge part of the shop.

I'm still waiting on Gamma to give me the challenges he wants to put up, but rest assured, we'll be gathering up Challenge Markers again before too long!

The freedom to fight...

Tired of making excuses for your characters to be absent during a raid? Do you think it'd be more fitting if they were present? Well, have I got news for you!

In light of the inclusion of my characters during the SaFR raid, RadiatedWraith actually approached me with the question of if I'll allow other people to bring their characters to their own raids or not.

Well, my decision is yes, from this point forward, it will now be allowed. However, do note that you will NOT be earning any Points, EXP, or Zenny from doing so.

And if you feel as though it'd be easier to not have them involved, not to worry; You can still choose to keep your characters absent from your own raid, as well.

Great. And just what does that rainbow jerk want THIS time?
...You are from the Chaos Zone, are you not? Tell me, what do you know about Artificial Elements?
Artificial Elements?

Phantom Reggae thinks for a moment.

...I know that they exist... Or rather, used to. There was Toxic, Phantom, Hope...
...Beta Devil made his own Anti-Omni element, because of COURSE he would.
**

Indeed. At first, there were 20 natural elements. And then, when the two doctors made the Prototype system, they made 11 fake elements within it: Energy, Weapons, Attack, Defense, Speed, Light, Cossack, Damage, Recovery, Experience, and Level. That sneaky Dr. Wily managed to get a Wily core in there, too, at some point.

And when Slur's messing with the Prototype created the Prototype Subspace and Bonus Field areas, it made the None and Empty elements along with them. Such elements were never intended to be used as proper elements, but over time, the Omniverse found a way.

***

But as for Artificial Elements... They are the result of the mixture of different essences of elements- Natural and "Fake" alike- infused together to create something new. Something far more special than both of those elements.

But when Beta Satan destroyed the Chaos Zone universe, he took all of the Artificial Elements with it. And now, the only elements that exist in this universe are the 20 natural ones, and the 14 "Fake" elements.

...Which brings us to why you were brought here: Your mission, according to that rainbow friend of yours We're not friends with him. is to collect elemental essences and bring them here for Spekkio to make into brand new elements for you to use.
Is that a thing he can even do?
But of course! I ain't called the Master of War for nothing!
Indeed; The same way Spekkio has been able to bring the gift of magic to those who had that spark in their souls, he can use his power to combine Elemental Essences into brand new elements.
Well, how do we start?

That rainbow fellow did the favor and gathered as much Elemental Essence as he could from your previous battle. You might've felt his presence once or twice as you fought those corrupted robots.
I believe you can earn 10 essence from every 100 damage you deal with a particular element. Any less than that, however, will not grant you anything.
Once you have enough essence, come talk to me, and I will happily exchange anything I can offer for some essence... Or, alternatively, you can just give us the essence for the sake of filling in a certain element.
Once enough essence is gathered for a particular element, that element will be unlocked for everyone to enjoy... With some restrictions, that is.
Restrictions...? We didn't have those with the Chaos Zone.
Yes, well, that rainbow figure was quite insistent on it.

As the rock(s) fly through the portal, nothing happens. (Good, so no need to worry about butterfly effects.)

...Who did make this portal, anyways?
Beats me; I certainly don't know any time travelers, apart from the ones who are raiders like us.
Why are we called raiders, anyway? Like... what are we even raiding?
...Right. There's only one way we're finding anything out.

LEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY-

Phantom Reggae rushes straight into the portal.

Reggae, wait!
What? I'm standing right here.
No, I meant- Urg, you know who I meant!

Disarge follows in after Phantom Reggae. In a matter of moments, everyone follows suit.
???

As the group rushes in, they come to a strange, dimly-lit area. The floor is made of bricks that form circular patterns, and the entire area is surrounded by a fence of sorts. The only source of light is a lamp in the middle of the area, of which a man stands in front of it, greeting everyone who comes in.

Ah, more visitors. Welcome, one and all... To the End of Time.

(Area Theme) ♫ Chrono Trigger - End of Time ♫

The End of Time...? As in, the point of time where everything ends?
The name would give off that sort of impression, wouldn't it? But, no; This is where time travelers would go, should more than 3 people of different eras were to try to travel together.
...Or, well, it used to be the case; But after the Omniverse was restored after being destroyed by Trio from Universe MM101 during the events of the Absurd Roleplay universe, and especially after the creation of the Chaos Zone, the fabric of reality became more of a sheet of leather; Still can be torn apart if you strain it hard enough, but still harder to do so than it used to be.
Since then, this place hasn't seen much use for anything... Doesn't help that the people who used to frequent this place left not too long after the defeat of Lavos.

Indeed, Lavos... A powerful beast of unfathomable power, who once laid the world to waste in many different eras across time... Nearly leading all life into extinction.*
...Ah, but you needn't worry about all of that. In any case, things were rather quiet around here... That is, until a man by the name of Delta Paradox came here by accident, upon utilizing a powerful time-based artifact, which unlocked a new power within him...
...Following that, only a few people have visited me; Once, when I decided to help someone self-reflect, another time when a bunch of people traveled here to ask Spekkio to teach them magic, and another asking for a Chrono Trigger. But, I'm getting ahead of myself.

So, why did that portal open, anyway?
Well, call it a hunch, but the last visitor I had was a rainbow-colored figure who said that he had a mission for you, and that he may need my and Spekkio's help to do so.
Spekkio...?

Suddenly, from a room behind the man comes a strange figure...

Well, well! Are these the ones the rainbow guy was talking about?
Gah! What IS that thing? It's like... a giant, muscular smurf with horns and purple lips!
So, that's how I appear to you... You all must be pretty strong, then.
Then, my suspicions are correct... You truly are the ones that rainbow-colored fellow was talking about. The ones he had yet another mission for.

Phantom Reggae puts a wing around Laguna's shoulder.

Hey, don't sweat it, Mr. Prez! Don't sweat it!
Nobody elected you to begin with.

The other Reggae gets back up, no longer AOC'd.

Urgh, my neck hurts again... Man, if I had a nickel for every Beta Devil we fought, I may as well have a quarter.

Upon sudden realization, the rest of my group looks over to Phantom Reggae, then back to regular Reggae.

Holy moly, now there's two of them!
Hey, the more the better, right?

...Except, nah. As I have said before, I want to get back to our vacation.
Well, I just got here, so I think I'm gonna stick around. Stick around, SQUAWK!
And as much as I'd like to rejoin you guys, I already used up all my vacation days with Gemini Entertainment.
Well, that settles that, I suppose.

...Hey, guys? You all might wanna see this...

Everyone's attention is then pulled toward a strange time portal*...

*In case it's not obvious, this has nothing to do with the next raid boss; However Gamma wants to introduce it is however he will.

...Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I got closure from that.
I agree. It was nice seeing you again, too, Orchestra; Glad to see you’ve only gotten stronger.
...

Orchestra looks over to Techno, who is looking over to the ruined city.

...Are you still thinking about...?
...Yeah. It... Still hurts, knowing what’s to happen. But... I also don’t like to see people suffer. So, to stop that demon... I’m willing to do what we must.
...I have no idea what you two are talking about... But me and Orchestra already lost a world once. If there’s a chance to save yours, I’d say take it.
...Thanks. You really are different from other versions of Bass, aren’t you?
Well... Once you accomplish everything you set out to do, you tend to find a change of perspective. Seeing your entire world crumble helps with that, too.
...Hey. You have something you need to do in your world, too, right?

Orchestra holds out a hand to Boosted Bass.

...Good luck with it, whatever it may be.
...

Boosted Bass returns the motion, shaking his hand.

...Good luck to you, too.

...Alright, alright; That’s enough with the reunions for today. Let’s get you guys back to where you were before.

Channeling Senshi energy, Ninja Man Psi creates two portals, of which the three robots enter, with Boosted Bass returning to Legacy and both Orchestra and Techno returning to the Chaos Zone. Then, more energy is focused into the portals...

...Then as the portals close, 3 rings take their place, Ninja Man Psi catching all of them.

Huh? What are those about...?
What, these things? Well, bringing those three here gave me a bit of an idea... These are known as Senshi Rings. And they SHOULD be able to make a mirage of anyone we want to fight along with us.
Observe.

Ninja Man Psi tosses two of the rings over to Disarge, then holds the third one into the air. It then proceeds to glow a radiant, green light...

...before immediately sparking and sputtering, doing nothing.

What the?

Ninja Man Psi tries again, but this time the ring doesn’t even glow, seemingly drained of all its energy just from being created.

Weird, that should’ve worked... Guess I need to work more with my Senshi powers, after all.
(Results Music) ♫ Mega Man 7 - Wily Stage 1 Entrance ♫

I decided to halve a certain someone’s score out of fairness towards the other participants.

Fellow Cloud Man - 21395
RadiatedWraith - 12572
polartedd - 11572
QuintAnother - 3872
RotomSlashBlast - 3027
Anti-Cloud Militia - 1564
ch4s3man - 680
Master Alicia - 409
Nims2DR - 79
glacier - 24

...What? Never said it was gonna be that fair.

In any case, even though Mighty has one, his past track record leaves me to believe that he might not take up the raid boss role (there’s not even a guarantee he’ll even participate in the next raid).

He can feel free to disprove that statement if he so wishes, but for now, let’s just assume that our next raid boss will be from RadiatedWraith.

But first, in our time of preparation, the questions remain... Just what happened to those Senshi Rings? Why are Techno, Orchestra, and Boosted Bass in the Summon Sheets? And what’s with that strange time portal just outside of town? All of this and more, to be revealed...

Proto Devil then charges up and unleashes an Anti-Omni Shot on Mack for 2382 damage, fires an Anti-Omni Torpedo at Orchestra and Boosted Bass for a respective 1535 and 987 damage, unleashes an Anti-Omni Burst that flashes in the direction Ninja Man Psi’s went, revealing his location, launches a Ring Chaos that slashes the Flash twice for 3316 damage total, and fires an Anti-Omni Crusher that hits L00t for 1522 damage, and would’ve hit NinPsi as well, but he manages to jump over the attack before landing 6 shots on him for 21 damage.

Mega Devil then unleashes a Hyper Clusterbomb that strikes Vat Man for 1376 damage, Tinkatedd for 3953, and Ensemble for 1310. He then hits Tinkatedd with an Anti-Omni Storm for 2635 damage before creating a large boulder with Anti-Omni Arm, launching it at Daisy for 3697 damage. He then finishes off with an Anti-Omni Slasher on Ink Armour for 4075 damage and an Anti-Omni Beam at Vat Man for 1070 damage.

Then, making their final hurrah, the Muspell Flames land on the SaFRs for 5, 24, and 27 damage to Mevil, Bavil, and Previl. Additionally, Curse of the Dead hits for 15 damage each, Ablaze pains Mevil for 2 damage, Burial hits Bavil for 2 damage, and Corrosion II melts through all 3 SaFRs for 143 damage each.

Both sides in a pretty rough state, neither of them seem to be backing down...

...But then, suddenly, ReDevil begins jolting around in place...*
...Before suddenly, a Speed Cursed Reggae Devil is immediately removed from the fusion... Leaving a more Phantom-styled ReDord in its place.

You can’t DO this to me! What about the power!? What about the RESPECT!?

The Phantom-y ReDord responds in a ghostly Reggae’s voice:

Respect deez nuts.

Phantom ReDord then proceeds to activate a Radiant Zeal before ramming into Reggae Devil with a Hyperspeed Crash with all his might, dealing 298 damage and knocking him out.

Alright, Chord, I’m leaving the rest to you! The rest to you, SQUAWK!

Gaining proper control over himself, ReDord points the overly-charged Buster Blade from earlier at the trio...

I TOLD you!

And strikes them all at once with a MASSIVE blade for OVERFLOW ERROR damage, leaving no trace of them left.

(Ending Music) ♫ Half Life 2 - Triage at Dawn ♫

With the three SaFRs out of the picture, the AoC that has infected everyone ups and leaves, without a single trace of it left in the entire area. Phantom ReDord, worn out, lowers to the ground, de-fusing into Dord and... Phantom Reggae?

...Gottem.

Then, as everyone gathers around, the citizens come out of hiding... All that’s left, anyways.

You... You all DESTROYED this city! And even if we rebuild, all these... chemicals-

Suddenly, an older man- seemingly the mayor of the city, back when it was one- interrupts.

Now, now. Things would’ve been much worse, had these people not come to save us. Besides, most of the destruction were from those horrid red beasts to begin with.
...Thank you, all of you. Though many of us are gone... I’m sure that we will all come to appreciate what you have done to save what you could.

Two Police robots then step out.

ALRIGHT, EVERYONE, GATHER TOGETHER. WE WILL GET YOU TO YOUR NEW HOMES BY THE END OF TOMORROW. (HOPEFULLY...)

The police robots then proceed to guide the citizens out of the melted town. Truly, a bittersweet victory...
*Everything past this point is cosmetic and does not affect the score, zenny, or anything else in any shape or form.

The wrath of L00t pays no mind on the devil’d Worker as she focuses her energy on striking the SaFRs with 4 Dire Godstorms each, landing 504 blows that deal 2393 damage to Mevil, 23752 (counted as 2375 to the Multiplier) to Devass, and 13620 (counted as 1362 to the Multiplier) to Previl, raising the multiplier to x69...

Or it would, if there was anything of them left. But judging from the cloud of smoke, I don’t think that the trio survived those blasts at a-

It... isn’t... over...!

...I can’t believe I actually fell for that gag, The SaFRs reveal themselves to be still alive, though the blast has completely destroyed their adapters.

Having witnessed this onslaught, Worker decides to just stick to Working Hard for a little Extra Time this round.

You... , I didn’t think you’d all be THIS strong...!
When we band together, there is nothing that we can’t accomplish. That’s what every version of Beta Devil learned every time we fought him, and that’s why he will never win, no matter HOW much stronger he gets. And somewhere deep down, he knows that. THAT’S why he’s grown “so soft”, as you said before.
[ [i]But even THAT aside, [u]the three of you were NEVER on the same level.
You just rely on growing your numbers and being stubbornly resilient. But BOTH of those end right here, right now.]{copy_shadow}

Grr...! The only stubborn ones here are YOU! So how’s THIS for resilience!?

Bass Devil unleashes an Anti-Omni Fire on StyleCS.EXE before unleashing an Anti-Omni Stopper, dealing 41 damage to Mack, 720 to Flash, 41 to StyleCS, 43 to Ink Armour, 31 to L00t, 45 to PIRATE, 23 to Vat, 131 to Tink, 43 to Ensemble, 73 to Daisy, 29 to Laguna, 40 to Orchestra, 36 to Techno, and 26 to Bassted. Then, in the midst of frozen time, he fires 872 Time Shots at the Flash for 360 damage.

...All of the moves will be explained on the character sheet, but since this one will need explaining...

Anti-Omni Stopper (Upgrade to Flash Stopper)
Core: Flame/Time
Effect: Strikes all enemies, dividing damage between each target. The user can also choose a single target to attack with Time Shot, albeit with half its typical amount of shots; This effect occurs whether or not the user has Time Shot in their move slots or not. This move is also treated as part-Crystal.

He then fires and automatically detonates an Anti-Omni Bomber on PIRATE for 435 damage, then sets up an Anti-Omni Shield to fuel an Anti-Omni Fall, striking Mack for 62 damage, Flash for 1080, StyleCS for 123, Ink Armour for 130, L00t for 183, PIRATE twice for 135, Vat twice for 34, Tink for 393, Ensemble for 65, Daisy for 110, Laguna for 86, Orchestra for 120, Techno for 108, and Bassted for 77.

Suddenly, however, Ninja Man Psi emerges from the wall, shooting Bavil 6 times over for 36 damage before slashing him with a Plasma Katana for 6 damage, before re-cloaking and retreating to the wall.

The initial Reggae proceeds to put on a pair of shades, similar to two certain other Reggaes.

...You were saying?
...Oh. ...Sh-

Suddenly, all of the Phantom Reggaes swarm Reggae Devil at once.
Suddenly, still holding onto the Buster Blade charge, ReDevil freezes, becoming almost statue-like.

...Hey! Why’d you stop, you were just getting to the good part!
Tch. I think he’s finally broken. Did you see how he was when we first met him? And it’s not like he got any better since then.
I see... What a shame. Oh well, no use in crying about it. We’ll just have to eradicate these fools ourselves.

Meanwhile, noticing ReDevil’s sudden stillness, PIRATE takes advantage by firing Artificial Claw Beams for 40 damage, Quick Reloading, firing more Artificial Claw Beams for 40 more damage, and charging and launching a GAC Overdrive for 53 damage. Techno then looks over to ReDevil.

Hey! I don’t know if you can hear me, but... If you think you’re the only one with a move like that, then check THIS out!

Techno + then proceeds to raise an arm to the air, summoning 8 flaming spires to rain down on the AOC Crew (Techno Firestorm), dealing 2 damage to Mega Devil, 7 damage to Bass Devil, 8 damage to Proto Devil, and 43 damage to ReDevil. 4 spires then hit Worker for 136 damage total.

Boosted Bass proceeds to place a Bass Crush on Bass Devil before striking with a Bass Baroque for 22 damage. This is then followed by an Orchestra Claymore + from its namesake user, striking for 14 damage before being targeted at Mega Devil for an Orchestra Clash that deals 1 damage.

Then, as Daisy strikes ReDevil twice with a Daisy Tackle for 47 damage (raising the multiplier to x62), Laguna goes again for a Satellite Laser, this time hitting 4 times for 418 damage. Meanwhile, Vat Man dunks Previl twice over in a Wicked Whirlpool for 400 damage before Chemoshocking for 23 damage.

Then, Tinkatedd is flung at Mega Devil in a ball of anger, though still only manages to deal 1 damage; However, she finds the Salvaged Anti-Omni Swing broom to be an excellent handle for her new hammer.

...Speaking of which, she gets her rightly-earned vengeance by striking the immobile ReDevil with a Foul Play for 128 damage, further raising the Multiplier to x63.

The Target Modules could not be equipped without using AP (as I have explained to QA before with his Xtreme Modules), but that doesn’t stop Ensemble from landing at least one Sheer Cold on Previl for 109 damage. Meanwhile, Ink Armour calls in an Airstrike that deals 33 damage to ReDevil and applies Locked-In.

Following this are Purification Beams from Mack that deal 2 damage to Mega Devil, 8 damage to Bass Devil, 5 damage to Proto Devil, 27 damage to ReDevil, and 22 damage to Worker. He then restores his own HP with an Energy Boost. Meanwhile, Ninja Man Psi activates a Cloaking Cell, turning himself invisible. If one were to look close enough, they would see the outline of something- or someone- Clutching a nearby Wall... or what’s left of it, anyway.

Worker Devil prepares to do something EVIL, but stops himself when-

(Battle Theme) ♫ Shadow the Hedgehog - Black Bull ♫]{copy_space}

As The Flash strikes Proto Devil twice with Lightspeed Impact for 396 damage, Techno charges at Bass Devil with Techno Fever, landing 3 blows- 1 of which flares blue, indicating a critical hit- for 15 damage. Meanwhile, StyleCS.EXE tries to find the one who has the lowest multiplier... Only to find out that everyone has the same multiplier.

So, it instead opts to use Data Tunnel on ReDevil (since he technically doesn’t have a multiplier), only for the fusion to dodge the attack.

Ha! If that’s the best you’ve got, then this really is where it ends!

Summoning 6 more blades, ReDevil unleashes 6 more Lacerations, hitting Tinkatedd for 375 damage, the Flash for 3300, Ensemble for 497, Vat Man for 261, PIRATE for 258, and L00t for 699. He then unleashes 16 streams of Hadal Smoker, striking PIRATE twice for 844 damage, Techno for 225, Boosted Bass for 80, Orchestra for 125, Daisy twice for 230, Laguna twice for 536, Ensemble twice for 813, StyleCS.EXE for 256, Ink Armour for 136, Ninja Man Psi for 250, and the Sentry for 7500, destroying the Sentry.

...You know what? Enough beating around the bush.

Suddenly, ReDevil pulls out a Buster Blade, charging it to absurd amounts!

SAYONARA, FU-

HEY, EDGELORD! HEY EDGELORD, SQUAWK!
Dord’s Mind

Suddenly, in the middle of the town’s square, everyone’s attention is turned towards a certain specter. A big, red complex shape chained down with big, red chains from all directions - even from out of the sky - can be seen suspended about at the height of a first floor. There are many figures taunting it in various ways. Some are grey and red, some pitch black with a tinge of purple, but the majority is AOC Reggaes. It's constantly shaking, but never breaking from the relentless punches of the person inside of it, who seems to notice Phantom Reggae's arrival even if he isn't looking at him...

HEY! I hope you're only inside my head to gimme a hand with this shit!
HA! Don’t make me laugh harder, Chordy. Even if he CAN break you out, he’ll have to get through all of US first! And there’s no WAY he’ll be able to do it!

As if on cue, every AOC Reggae in the entire area gathers around, ready to beat down on Phantom Reggae.

...Wanna bet? Wanna bet?

Suddenly, Phantom Reggae’s entire body vibrates. The vibrations grow faster and faster, until...!

...Suddenly, a second Phantom Reggae appears next to the one that arrived.

...?

The two Phantom Reggaes then vibrate once again. Suddenly, two more appear next to them. Then, the four vibrate again, making four more appear. The eight vibrate, eight more appear. 16 vibrate, becoming 32. 32 becomes 64, then 128, then 256. In a matter of a minute, there are far more Phantom Reggaes than there are Reggae Devils.

As the green seas finally clear, the damage that’s been done can be plain for all to see. As everyone returns to floor level, the two opposing sides stare down at each other. Only one thing comes to everyone’s minds, now.

It’s time to end it.
Multiplier: x61
Damage: 416/1000

Mega Devil - Muspell Flames: 10/20, Curse of the Dead - 1/4, Stun 2/4, Ablaze 6/9, Corrosion II 1/∞
Bass Devil - Muspell Flames: 10/20, Curse of the Dead - 1/4, Stun 2/4, Buried - 1/3, Corrosion II 1/∞
Proto Devil - Muspell Flames: 10/20, Curse of the Dead - 1/4, Stun 2/4, Corrosion II 1/∞
*Past this point up to when Tinkatedd gets hit, the order of attacks are placed slightly out-of-order for dramatic purposes.
**No, seriously. This is the amount of damage that was calculated.

Then, as Daisy Crystal Smashes Previl for 7 damage and Laguna finally hits ReDevil with his Satellite Lasers... all 2 of them... for 209 damage, Mega Devil smirks.

...Buddy... You all just made a mistake.

Suddenly, as the multiplier reaches x50, both ReDevil and Worker glow red for a brief moment... as if representing something terrible.
At the x50 multiplier...

Anti-Omni Corruption becomes PERMANENT.

...Well, for the rest of the raid, anyways.

...What, and we’re supposed to be scared of THAT? Ha! It doesn’t matter WHAT you throw at us anymore...

Ninja Man Psi then learns Senshi Dragon for his Pirate Armor, using it to grant everyone with a boost- which, thanks to Boosted Bass’ Attack Support, means EVERYONE- an additional AP!

...You already LOST.

StyleCS.EXE then comes crashing in, landing a double Gravity B-Bounce on Betablo for 24 damage! Meanwhile, Ink Armour, boosted by the Senshi Dragon, uses Sentry Goin’ Up twice, building two Level 1 Sentries that merge into a single Level 2 Sentry! Mack then pulls off an Energy Support, but only succeeds in recovering 504 of his own HP thanks to various earlier circumstances.

L00t then glares at the Devil Triad, unleashing a massive Dire Godstorm on all of them, dealing 271 damage to Mega Devil, 1586 damage to Bass Devil, and 1784 damage to Proto Devil, increasing the multiplier to x53. She then glares at Beta Diablo, hovering above.

HAH! I dare you, do your worst! You couldn’t POSSIBLY d-

Suddenly, an apparition appears behind L00t...

oh sHI-

Hell- or, rather, Heaven- rains down upon Beta Diablo, causing him to crash down onto a melting building as the storm rains down for 7281 damage**, annihilating the demon and raising the multiplier to x60.

...Yet, somehow, he lives?

...Yeah, screw this.

A portal appears beneath Beta Devil as he flips everyone off, retreating into the portal as he returns to Practice RP Dojo.

...Actually, that reminds me; How DID he-
Let’s not bring that knowledge back to our world for OUR Beta Devil to get any ideas.

The Level 2 Sentry built by Ink Armour then fires two Buster Shots at ReDevil, but only one of them hit, dealing 2 damage. Meanwhile, the AOC’d Worker proceeds to Work Hard to earn 500 Zenny.

Bass Devil then spends his turn thawing out as Mega Devil and Proto Devil decide to weaken their opponents by auto-charging 3 Mega Heartbreakers and Proto Trippers, respectively. The 3 Heartbreakers hit Boosted Bass, L00t, and Vat Man, and the 3 Trippers hit Techno +, L00t, and PIRATE.

Mega Heartbreaker (Upgrade to Roll Buster)
Core: Flame/Defense
Effect: Takes an extra turn to charge. Removes all Defense buffs, or leaves a 2-stage Defense debuff if the target has no buffs.

Proto Tripper (Upgrade to Rhythm Buster)
Core: Flame/Speed
Effect: Takes an extra turn to charge. Removes all Speed buffs, or leaves a 2-stage Speed debuff if the target has no buffs.

Missed me, fellas?
Phantom Reggae!? I thought we lost you after the Burning Desire raid!
Ah, believe me, my fellow Reggaes... I never left. Never left, SQUAWK!
The fact that you exist at all is astounding, seeing as we’re meant to be a robot.
Can it, brainiac.
It’s actually great you’re still around... Listen to me. You need to find Dord. You two are the ONLY ones who can stop this guy. So, go; Find Dord, and stop that menace!

Phantom Reggae salutes.

On it! On it!

Phantom Reggae then phases back out through the wall to search for Dord within his subconscious.

...Did you hear something?
Eh, I’m sure it’s nothing.
Having brought all citizens to safer grounds, Disarge and the others meet up with Ninja Man Psi.

You made it at the right time. Did you bring the two Supremo asked you to?
See for yourselves.

Ninja Man Psi then directs everyone’s attention to right behind them, as the SaFRs manage to resurface atop a melting building, drenched in burning chemicals.

You’ve been causing quite the trouble, haven’t you?

Mega Devil perks up as he hears the voice, looking over.

...No. That’s impossible... You two were DEAD!

The two- three, rather- figures reveal themselves...

I’m sure if you were paying attention as much as you say you were, you would’ve known why we’re able to stand against you NOW.
...The Dead Zone portals... But how are you two here!?
Thankfully, this version of Ninja Man had the means to transport us across dimensions. And thanks to that...

The other figure steps up to finish Orchestra’s sentence...

...We will avenge what YOU three have destroyed. Including OUR world!

The third figure looks to both Orchestra and Boosted Bass in confusion.

...Wait. Are you two...?
...Techno.

Techno looks back over to Orchestra.

...You remember that technique you developed during our preparation for Beta Diablo?
The one I never got to use? I still don’t know if it even works...
Well, now’s our chance to find out.

Techno + proceeds to look around before nodding. He then focuses his energy...

...

...before unleashing a wave of energy, represented by a bird of icy wind forming behind him... Causing all disabled units to get right back up, with all negative status effects (AOC on Worker aside) lifted!

Ninja Man then looks over to Tinkatedd.

...Sorry about the hammer, by the way. I would’ve caught it if it weren’t for how heavy it would’ve been.

Freezing Phoenix
Core: Freeze/Wind | Cost: 20 WE
Effect: Cost is unaffected by STAB. Automatically revives all fallen allies, dropping only the negative stat changes and status effects. Also grants all allies and the user an additional healthbar, doubling their HP. Costs 10 more WE for each unit supported and 10 more WE for each unit revived. Cannot be learned by any other unit.

Boosted Bass then grants everyone an Attack Support, which is boosted further- alongside Defense and Speed- for L00t by an Ally Rally from Orchestra +.
...Which, again, I will gain no points for any of this.

Stats will be in the Summon Sheets; The reason behind this will be unveiled after the raid.

As Beta Diablo strikes Worker with a Hell’s Spectacle in the background for 57 damage (inflicting him with Anti-Omni Corruption in the process), Tinkatedd pauses for a moment from the Omen that passes through everyone. However, she shakes it off, approaching ReDevil to finally collect her prize...

...Only to jump back in surprise as the wings flare up once more as ReDevil gets back up, glaring at her with mixed feelings of anger and amusement.

YOU... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Did you SERIOUSLY think that someone of MY power would falter so easily!?
Unfortunately for YOU, my Paldean friend, you failed to account for one thing...

First, ReDevil manifests a block of text, a certain part of it highlighted...

He then manifests an HP bar above himself, which reads...

Energy: 883/1850

He then proceeds to hold out an arm, causing 7 of the blades that pierced the Space Pirate earlier to hover around him, all without breaking eye contact with Tinkatedd, who takes a step back. Grinning viciously, ReDevil walks slowly towards Tinkatedd, who responds with walking backwards away from the imposing entity. As the two move forward, ReDevil flicks his head to his left and right; As he does so, two blades fling themselves toward Daisy and Laguna, Lacerating them for 842 and 853 damage, respectively, causing the two to pass out. He does so again*, this time hitting Mack (since Liam is switched out) and Ensemble for 2258 and 1313 damage, this time only knocking [Ensemble]{missile_freeeze} out, Mack barely hanging on. And again, striking Ink Armour and L00t for 2173 and 1928 damage.

As the last blade hovers above ReDevil, Tinkatedd finds herself at the edge of the building. Standing in a pool of corrosive chemicals, Tinkatedd stumbles off the building as it collapses from the side she was standing on. She manages to catch herself, but can only watch in horror as her prized hammer is dropped into the toxic waters below, melting in the green sea. More horror fills her eyes as she then looks up to ReDevil standing above her.

...How unfortunate. I’d say it’s back to square one for you... But you won’t even LIVE to start from scratch.

He then raises his arm, the last Laceration following its movement.

Goodbye.

He then swings his arm down, causing the blade to pierce Tinkatedd’s chest for 1183 damage, causing her to faint for the last time as she falls toward her doom in the acidic lake below...

...Or she would have fallen in, that is... if she weren’t caught by someone clinging onto the nearby wall.

What!?

The figure then looks up to greet the corrupt fusion.

’Sup?

Running on the walls, Ninja Man Psi jumps from building to building until he reaches the safe area of which the raiders are standing, landing in the middle of them with Tinkatedd in his arms, laying her down to safety.
Back of Reggae’s Mind

Guarded by two Reggae Devils, all of Reggae’s other personalities are locked up in a prison labeled “Repressed Thoughts”.

...That edgy jerk... He can’t keep getting away with these things!
Man, this stinks. It should be Dord out there kicking ass, not that edgy recolor!
I know that! Ugh, what do we even do against all of this...?

Wow, you guys seem to be in quite the pickle! Quite the pickle, SQUAWK!
That voice...! Wdym we all have the same voice.

Suddenly, another Reggae phases through the wall behind them...

As Brave Strikes EX hit Tinkatedd, Ensemble, Vat Man, and the Space PIRATEs, the former of the 4 is the first to make their move, launching two Reengineered Concussion Missiles at Mega Devil for 16 damage total, Locking him In before firing another one at Bass Devil for 17 damage, freezing him. One of the Space Pirates then attempt to fire Artificial Claw Beams at ReDevil, only for him to disappear until-

Above you.~

ReDevil then drops several Blazing Blades on the Space Pirate, dealing 4800 damage to the alien creature.

...But, as if out of sheer determination, the creature keeps going, Quickly Reloading before Looting and Sabotaging (or I guess just Sabotaging) Beta Diablo, canceling out his Chaotic Kamemehameha before swinging at both him and ReDevil, the latter taking 20 damage out of surprise that the alien is still going, and Betablo taking 58 damage from two other swings. The Space Pirate then succumbs to its wounds and falls to the ground.

Vat Man then decides to spray Beta Diablo and (since the move never said you were able to target allies) Proto Devil with Neutralizing Spray, removing their stat buffs and positive status effects (though I will be evil toward myself and keep the negative ones); He tries to do the same to ReDevil, but he manages to avoid it.

Then, consuming a W-Tank or two, he smirks (or at least as much as he could, seeing as he doesn’t have a mouth... at least I think) as a large wave of toxic chemicals flood the city streets, melting any cars, buildings, and Anti-Omni robots in its wake... Though, thankfully, any and all citizens are brought to safe locations thanks to Disarge and the others.

...Though, one of said others had a rather harsh thought on what to do with an equally rescued TRBF that still seems to be knocked out...

...Are we sure we can’t just-
No.

The Green Sea is quick to envelop the area of which the SaFRs once stood, with Proto Devil taking 117 damage from the roaring, toxic waves...

The rest, however...

HAH! You idiot, you forgot that we could FLY!

...Suddenly, however, Beta Diablo, Mega Devil, and Bass Devil are sent flying into the boiling waters, dealing 312, 17, and 102 damage, respectively, leaving all SaFRs and Betablo with a bad, BAD case of Corrosion II. Rising to the surface of the toxic waters and gasping (despite only 1/4 of them having a need to breath), the four look up to the perpetrator, completely untouched and cackling at their misfortune...

...Whoops, my foot slipped.

Chuckling a bit behind an Acid Wall, Vat Man proceeds to make Beta Diablo even more uncomfortable, dealing 119 damage total from 3 whole Chemoshocks, raising the Multiplier to x49.

Meanwhile, an Attack Assault from Ensemble on all foes catches ReDevil’s attention, allowing for him to dodge a Frost Column that hits Mevil for 1 damage, Basvil for 3, Previl for 4, and Betablo for 11, further weakening the three’s Attack. Avoiding the Columns, however, is what leaves ReDevil open to an Unabatable Icicle, dealing 12 damage, as 3 Yammar Option-summoned Dragonflies fire at him for 12 more damage total.

Tinkatedd then tries to Salvage ReDevil’s arm, but the fusion manages to push the hammer gremlin away, angering her into a Brick Break that deals 13 damage.

GET OFFA ME YA FREAK!

Neither of them willing to stand down, Tinkatedd takes a moment to breathe... before slamming ReDevil down as hard as she can with her Gigaton Hammer for 391 damage, sending ReDevil flying onto the roof of a somehow-still-standing building, his wings fading. Landing on the same building, Tinkatedd makes a victorious cry as she lifts her hammer into the air.

He then raises his hand into the air, unleashing a swarm of Hadal Smokers that hits PIRATE for 844 damage, Daisy for 230, Vat Man twice for 570, Tinkatedd for 818, Ensemble for 813, Ink Armour for 542, and Liam for 776, disabling PIRATE, Tinkatedd, and Ensemble.

...Though, I can’t help but feel like this and the previous turn were a bit too rough on you guys, so I’m gonna be nice and bring everyone back for this round.

Hahaha, YES! THIS is what I’m talking about! No longer just a tool to be used; Now, I am a GOD!
Heheh... Glad to see such power be on the winning team! You’re a very refreshing person to interact with than that irksome meddler.
...Oh, I’m on the winning side, alright... But I ain’t on YOUR team, either, pal. I’m just obliging to the rules of this raid... Just know this, pal: Once I’m done with THEM... all of YOU are next.
Oh...? HAHAHAHAHAH! Very well, then; We’ll dispose of the riff-raff first, and THEN we’ll finish what we started!

Getting right back up, PIRATE tries to fire two Reengineered Concussion Missiles at ReDevil, but the speedy fusion returns to his 4th-D Slip status once again, causing the two missiles to miss completely. Meanwhile, as Frostbite calls upon a Blizzard Attack- dealing 19 damage to Daisy, 6 to Vat Man, 34 to Ink Armour, and 33 to Liam-, Daisy uses Daisy Blossom to try to lull the opponents Asleep, but only succeeds in doing so for the three SaFRs.

ReDevil then steps out of his 4th-D Slip for a moment to taunt Laguna, causing him to try and hit him with a Satellite Laser, only to hit nothing but air. Vat Man, meanwhile, Bubbles Up and Chemical Splashes Mega Devil in his sleep, causing Corrosion I and Corrosion II to the SaFR and two layers of Corrosion I to himself, the latter part of which he then uses to fuel his Acidic Catalyst, adding 5 stages to his Attack.

Not wanting to deal with any of Betablo’s bull, Ensemble launches a Sheer Cold at him, which manages to hit for 154 damage! Meanwhile, Ink Armour tries to snap Frostbite out of it with a Stingray, dealing 44 damage.

Liam then calls upon a Rock Slam-Down, dealing 1 damage to Mevil, 4 to DevBass, 4 to Previl, 4 to the Anti-Omni Clone, 5 to Betablo, and 62 to Frostbite, knocking Frostbite out and Burying Basvil.

Stunned and Asleep, the three SaFRs slumber, taking 15 damage each from Curse of the Dead, 1 damage to Bavil from Burial, 2 damage to Mevil from Ablaze, and 243 more damage to Mevil from Corrosion I and II.

Not asleep, but having no moves to replicate, the Anti-Omni Clone’s time comes to an end, exploding itself on Liam for 1582 damage, knocking him out.

The three robots are then awoken by the impact of three Muspell Flames, hitting Mevil, Bavil, and Previl for 4, 25, and 29 damage, respectively.

GAH! Are those things seriously still going on!?
Multiplier: x48
Damage: 564/1000

Mega Devil - Muspell Flames: 11/20, Curse of the Dead - 2/4, Stun 3/4, Ablaze 7/9, Corrosion I 1/2, Corrosion II 1/2
Bass Devil - Muspell Flames: 11/20, Curse of the Dead - 2/4, Stun 3/4, Buried - 2/3
Proto Devil - Muspell Flames: 11/20, Curse of the Dead - 2/4, Stun 3/4

Hold it.

A figure then approaches Crossbow Master and Ink Armour, stopping them from progressing.

You two do NOT have a Team Baton; As such, only one of you shall be able to pass through.
...And since we’re evil, WE will be choosing who gets to go instead of you. And the way we’ll do it... Is with a little game of luck.

The Devil’d Skull Man then takes out a coin and flips it, before slapping it onto his arm mid-air and looking at it. He then looks directly at Ink Armour.

...You may pass.

He lets Ink Armour through, but stops Crossbow Master from following behind.

And you will have to wait your turn. And maybe buy one of those Team Batons next time.
Kicking things off, ReDevil rams into Worker (or Shadow Worker if that’s not a viable option) with a Hyperspeed Crash, taking advantage of his 1 Speed to deal 22320 damage, sending him flying over the horizon. He then does the same to Ensemble who, despite taking 223 damage on top of the amount of damage she took already, remains standing.

ReDevil then looks up to see Cloud T throw Tinkatedd at him, the Tinkaton prepared to hit him with a Fake Out...

...Only to make her own version of the surprised Pikachu face when the attack phases through due to ReDevil’s 4th-D Slip, rematerializing to laugh at the creature.

EHEHEHEHAHAHAHA! You should’ve seen the look on your face! What, did you really think I was gonna make this easy for ANY you!?
(Now, I really should go and pull off that Dire Godstorm before-)

Alas, due to how Brave Strike EX works (and, opposingly, without his own means to give himself priority), L00t is able to move before him, consuming a Gamer’s Elixir before attacking all opponents with Ulfrvetr, dealing 8 damage to Mevil, 22 to Bavil, 25 to Previl, 30 to Beta Diablo, and 230 damage to Frostbite; She was prepared to strike ReDevil, as well, but the puppeteered fusion returns to his 4th-D Slip position as the attack passes through, hitting the Anti-Omni Clone instead for 25 damage as the multiplier rises to x48.

Oh no, don’t mind me; You guys do your thing. I’ll just be right here...

Beta Diablo decides to hang back, choosing to charge up a Chaotic Kamemehameha as everyone else fights.

Meanwhile, ReDord returns with two Cursed Pizzas with pineapple slices on them. He proceeds to shove 2 slices each into the mouths of Mevil, Previl, PIRATE, Daisy, Laguna, Vat Man, Tinkatedd, Ensemble, Ink Armour, and L00t, as well as a singular slice in Liam’s mouth, before having two slices himself as he watches the madness ensue, with Mevil and Previl rising in Attack by 4 stages, Liam lowering in Defense by 2 stages, and everyone else lowering in Defense by 4 stages.

...Except for Daisy, who seems unbothered by the pineapple pizza, causing a recovery of 350 HP.

Wait, how come you- Nevermind, I don’t really want to know.

Continuing his reign of terror, he proceeds to grab all three SaFRs, as well as Frostbite, and throw them at Laguna before hitting the President-by-choice-of-literally-no-one-else himself with a Race Relay for 3648 damage, disabling him again. He then does an Impression of Ulfrvetr on L00t, knocking her out with 593 damage.

...Well, it was no Dire Godstorm... But I’m not gonna complain about the results.

...And to make matters worse, so has Frostbite, who decides to bite down on Ensemble for 61 damage!

The last non-corrupted standing (at the moment) and still barely holding on, Ensemble activates her White Album, hoping it will be just enough to hold out a little longer...!

Meanwhile, the Muspell Flames strike again, dealing 9 damage to Mega Devil, 28 damage to Bass Devil, and 32 damage to Proto Devil.
Ninja Man will get here, eventually.

Suddenly, Discorded Sergeant- in his Remembrance armor- appears before Magolor, alongside Gagaku, Banetem, Harmonica, Jazz Hunter, and the Cup Trio. (Nitron P also seems to have appeared, but is talking to the now unfrog’d Worker about... something.)

Truth be told, Reggae was simply ignoring your messages before... But when you sent your video call, Beta Supremo convinced us to come over.
...But, for Ninja... He said that there is something else he has to do, first. Something regarding getting help from two other who ALSO had their world ruined by these three.

Disarge then looks around. Though greatly lessened in numbers, there are still a LOT of different AOC creatures and robots causing chaos throughout the city.

...The others and I are going to protect as many people as we can from these things. If ANY of you do not plan to step into the main fight, then I recommend that you do the same.

Disarge and the others spread out.
Multiplier: x47
Damage: 677/1000

Mega Devil - Muspell Flames: 12/20
Bass Devil - Muspell Flames: 12/20
Proto Devil - Muspell Flames: 12/20, Anti-Omni Clone: 1/3
*Actually, I just rolled a 91 on one of the rolls for accuracy and decided to apply it to Limstella’s share of the damage.
**This is more cosmetic than being an actual purchase; This move is in the summoned Beta Devil’s- and thus, Beta Diablo’s- movepool by default.

Hell’s Doomflare (Upgrade to Hell’s Deathflare)
Cost: 6 WE
Effect: Damages all opponents. Ignores shields, Defense buffs, increases in evasion, and other similar defensive attributes (outside of Resistances).

...As for those who have survived...
Reggae’s Mind

MAN DOWN! MAN DOWN!
BRILLIANT【betanoir.dat】*** WORK YOU【Duck-billed Platypus】!
Everyone, calm down! We’re not down yet, so let’s just get back up and keep fighting the good fight!
Actually, the one who has dominion over this body’s actions is the one we have merged with, being Darkened Chordison.
Yeah, thanks for stating the obvious, brainiac!
And why should he be the one who tells us what to do, anyways?
...Alright, who was the wiseguy who said that?
I do believe that I do not recall saying anything of the sort.

All the Reggaes turn their head toward the one in the far back...

We kept the Overdrive program for the sake of its power, didn’t we? It’s only right that WE get to be the ones that use it.
And yet, time after time, we simply took the backseat while everyone ELSE enjoyed the benefit of this incredible power. Proto MKII. Jazz MK-X. Darkened Chord. And even Vivace that one time. Every time we use the Overdrive, it’s always someone ELSE in control. Someone ELSE who gets to reap the benefits.
And worse yet, Dord SQUANDERS its power, its POTENTIAL. Sure, it is powerful now, but imagine what MORE could be done, when we take the wheel under OUR wings. It is time to take the power that is rightfully OURS, and show them all what we can REALLY do!

One of the Reggaes step forward.

And just who are YOU to MAKE such an outlandish demand? You’re not one of us; You’re nothing more than an invader in OUR mind.
False; I am the darkest thoughts that linger within you. Within ALL of us.
Take a look around; We are ALL the result of YEARS of insanity, brought by the curse that our role has laid on our shoulders the moment we acquired our infinite speed. The moment that we became aware of the 4th Wall, when we became a swear censor.
I was simply granted greater precedence than all of you by a greater influence... And with it, I shall take the reins of this mind.
¡Ja! ¿Tú y qué ejército, amigo?〈Ha! You and what army, pal?〉

Suddenly, a legion of Reggaes appear behind the AOC Reggae.

...You were saying?
...Suddenly, Dord loses complete control over the Overdrive, as a familiar Dark Red-and-Grey color scheme replaces its regular color palette...

...ReDord... has been Anti-Omni Corrupted.

...I thought we weren't going to try and corrupt that guy and just kill him instead.
And that's still the plan... But who are we to look a gift horse in the mouth?

Beta Devil finishes drinking the Bloodied Dr. Pepper and crushes it on his head.

Hey, are we gonna keep blabbering on, or are we gonna get this show on the road?
Now, hold on. There was something else in that package... Some kinda instructions for a ritual of sorts.

Mega Devil flies up to the top of the highest building still standing.

Attention, all servants of the Corruption! Lend your power to the Dark Reaper! Let the Anti-Omni energies flow through him, empowering him!

(Event Theme) ♫ Chrono Trigger - Lavos’ Theme ♫

All three SaFRs then proceed to channel a dark energy into Beta Devil, as the Anti-Omni creatures that were not wiped out by Dord transfer large portions of their Anti-Omni energy to him as well, with several of them- mostly the weaker ones- adding their own lifeforce into the flowing energies, turning to dust upon doing so. As the energy flows, Beta Devil powers up to his Full Release form, which grows higher and higher in power...

Yes... YES... I can FEEL the energies surging through me...!
My body... It’s overwhelming with cursed energy...

So much so that, at long last...

...The seal has been broken.

A powerful red glow envelops Beta Devil, obscuring his entire body and creating an incredibly immense pressure...

...Before both immediately dies down, slowly and steadily... as a nearby bell rings with the Deafening sounds of Hell’s Toll.

Hell’s Toll (Upgrade to Hell’s Bells)
Cost: 10 WE
Effect: Boosts the user's stats by 3 stages. Also Deafens all opposing targets.

...Which, of course, now begs to question...
...Who wants to die first?

Invocación del Diablo
Core: Flame/Defense | Cost: 40 WE
Effect: Occurs after all other moves done by the bosses. Should Beta Devil be on the field, all boss units channel their remaining AP, as well as 40 WE each, into Beta Devil through a ritual of Cursed Memes. Channeling Cursed Meme energy into Beta Devil, the summoned unit becomes Beta Diablo, having x4 the summoned Beta Devil’s stats and access to Anti-Omni Corruption. All APs used for this move are transferred into Beta Diablo for a single turn, apart from the AP that initiated this move. Cannot be learned by any other unit.

As Hell’s Toll rings out again, Beta Diablo looks over to ReDord.

...I see. You appear to be the strongest one among them... As such, YOU’LL be my first target!

Then, as if he sensed its presence, Beta Diablo lifts out his hand, as one more object flies out of the package**... A sword, but not any ordinary. A cursed blade, crafted by a small remnant of a powerful and ancient evil... The Sword of Blasphemy...

Shiva
Core: Cutter/Empty | Cost: 8 WE | Accuracy: 92% | Power: 37 Damage
Effect: Inflicts the target with Blasphemic Devistation for 3 turns; 2 more if the target is weak to Empty. Blasphemic Devistation deals base 30 Time/Empty damage.

Beta Diablo proceeds to swing the cursed blade at ReDord, but barely misses...

...But despite wielding such a legendary blade... it turns out to be a distraction for an even BIGGER attack that hits him for 630 damage.

Take THIS, ALL of you! Suffer and DIE!!!

Betablo then unleashes the Hell’s Doomflare on the rest of the party, dealing 4224 damage to the Flash, 792 to PIRATE, and 117 to Frostbite, yet somehow missing Ensemble. Also somehow, Flash and PIRATE are the only ones disabled from the attack.
