MIDI: Uh, yes? Anyway, someone broke this elevator, the cables broke and I'mma fix it with arc welding. The welds are gonna be made of surgical steel, so that'll hold even better than before. I'll also quick cool them so they're even stronger.
MIDI: ...Cover your eyes.
MIDI connects the jumper cables to a broken cable, then pulls the one with the broken tongs on it away, creating a big, noisy flash of light.

At the bottom, Gyro Man can see a shabbily constructed robot with jumper cables coming out of his torso. He connected a broken pair of tongs to one end of them. On the "floor", there is a fire extinguisher and a pile of other metal surgical tools.

Mighty gets absolutely DAMAGED by the Discharge, only to restore himself by sucking up a considerable amount of Starforce Energy from Collateral Aeon Devil, weakening him. He simply spits out any AOC that may have gotten into his system with it or Nuru's needle.
Chord takes the opportunity to charge his busters.

MIDI begins to exist again, goes over to Meddy and puts his hand on her shoulder.
MIDI: You know what you are? You're my friend. I know you pretty well, and I know that you are a very sensible person.
MIDI: Now, how things stand, even if Regal programmed you to be loyal I'm sure you don't see a reason to, and there isn't anyone else to boss you around, so... You are what you make of yourself, really!
MIDI: AND, knowing you, I'm sure that you'll make the right choice, whatever it might be.
MIDI then turns to the general and the Acorn with a much more serious tone.
MIDI: You government chumps haven't done anything for the city in years, so I'm not doing anything for YOU unless you meet a few conditions.
Numero uno: Put some resources into Neptune City. I know that the economy is in shambles everywhere, but the situation is PARTICULARLY horrible here. Also, don't replace or scrap any of the existing bots here. They've earned some degree of respect by operating in these conditions, doncha think?

Second: Give us access to military frequencies, both for comms and that fancy new wireless Internet technology, as well as to any facility that isn't restricted above the squad's level.

Three: when this is done and Regal is caught, we all get to go home if we want. Including Taurus.
