As Fang sits on his tail, arms crossed, a message appears on a monitor just to the left of the main control panel...
I would like to provide my utmost apologies for my inability to see Rumia in person. The conflict at Dueler's Peak has yet to settle, and I'm currently repairing myself in the Halberd.
Doppler types a message to direct back to R.O.B. I completely understand, and I appreciate that you were able to spend some time contacting us regardless.
...as much as I wish such could be the sole purpose of the message, there's something pertaining to our current conflict that I also needed to relay to you.
Despite strong proof that it's still present, for whatever reason, the Dark Matter radar is blank.
Mystic Cave Zone
As Konngara's barrage of lasers continues, Nichts begins swerving between then, sometimes even going through them by briefly splitting in half.
It doesn't matter how long we've been gone! What matters is what we desired before! Since my birth, I've desired freedom. And only now do I have it, and I fully intend to use it!! But you? You have nothing to desire! You're just like all of your little friends from back then; the only thing you ever knew was to fight the shrine maiden*! 
You don't know who I am. You'd be amazed what I heard Mecha Sonic say before he threw me out. W-Shredder: (Wind/Space) The user summons a silhouette hologram of themselves that dashes forward. Upon contact, it will perform a physical attack, then disappear.
Fire Wave: (Flame) The user fires a small fireball that erupts into a flaming wave upon contact with a flat surface.
*Reference: Touhou 1: Highly Responsive to Prayers - In-game, the bosses (of which Konngara is one) have no dialogue or personality to speak of, only being identifiable by their designs, names, and titles. The only exception (Mima) avoided this due to appearing in later games that had dialogue.

I'm getting tired of people being stubborn about this. That's your fault! Do you really think one would be ready to tie themselves down just after they'd been freed again?! Or if they were never free bef- You know, I've been told actions speak louder than words. *Reference: Early North American and European Sonic the Hedgehog material (and the entirety of the Archie Comics) refers to Fang the Sniper as "Nack the Weasel". In truth, he's half wolf, half jerboa.

...at what point was it said Ali Nullum Vacuous was still the primary focus? There's barely been a primary focus since Regulus' "defeat", and the closest thing has been the UKR and Dark Matter.

Look, boss, I get it. The Yagaterasu's mysterious and powerful, and that sounds like a perfect addition to the collection on paper. But you gotta draw the line somewhere. Daroach, I can get my paws on any info. Even if it relates to you. Why'd you think I went out to fight Koishi back when we were helping the Fighting Mecha Team? Because I knew what your actual plan was, and I knew it was better to help the Mechas with their personal struggles. Spinni, the Yagaterasu has been out of my grasp for way too long. You more than anyone should know the Squeaks don't pass up the chance to find a new treasure. Sorry, boss, but sometimes a treasure just isn't worth the risk. Not the Jamba Heart, and not this.

That's certainly a valid question. He drove towards that camp, then left mere seconds later...now I'm unsure where he's headed. 
Well, it's gonna do 'im good. We ain't got any proof dat dose in the camp were actual troublemakers. Gettin' beef wit' potential allies is just as bad as runnin' into problems headfirst. It's bad enough when one of us gets hurt... 
...well, even if it's not an active effort, there's something Volt, Dyna and I might need, considering what led up to Rumia's current state. More specifically, weaknesses. Rumia's photosensitivity will be a much greater hurdle to overcome... ...but this whole time, Dyna Man, Volt Man, and I have had weaknesses. Dual-type weaknesses. It's actually a simple pattern; Dyna is weak to Volt's Electric/Shield typing, Volt is weak to my Water/Laser typing, and I'm weak to Dyna's Explode/Impact typing. This whole time, it seemed like something we could avoid worrying about until it finally happened - Dyna even mentioned it in passing a while ago* - but given what Rumia's weakness to bright weapons did to her, we can't take that risk anymore. Daroach uses an Ultra Ice Laser to negate the nuclear laser, then slashes Utsuho in the abdomen* with a Hunter Claw!!
It'd do you well to know the difference between a rat and a mouse. It'd also do you well to give me the Yagaterasu. Hunter Claw: (Swift/Cutter) The user dashes forward, then slashes with two claws.
*I know it's weird for me to specify "abdomen" like that, but it's roughly around there or the chest where Utsuho has some sort of eye, likely related to the Yagaterasu.
(OOC: @Ra Thor : I'm aware Touhou and Disgaea aren't related; Daroach's mention of Mao preceding his encounter with Utsuho has to do with both of them being claimed by you.)

(It's now or never.) (With Mao on the loose for the entire month, this is the best chance I've got.) AirN: (Explode/Flame) R.O.B. does a somersault while activating his thrusters, surrounding himself with a ring of explosive flame. Can only be used in the air.
Ground Spear: (Cutter/Earth) The user dashes forward, dragging their spear along the ground before swinging it upward.
Sizzle Effect: The upward swing releases three fireballs that travel in an arc.

Air Boosters: (Explode) R.O.B. uses his thrusters to create an explosion behind him.

Even with Yoshi, Shadow Digital, and Dedede present, the air has been filled with nothing but awkward silence as Rumia's recovery continues.
Eventually, Fang breaks the silence.
This needs to stop. 
What does? This whole "waiting for trouble" bogus. Even before the lab was made - before half of us even knew each other - all we've been doing is idling around, sometimes toying with each other, until something dangerous shows up, and where has that taken us? It gave Team Mecha a new opportunity*, it made Coda rear his ugly head†, it left us as cannon fodder when Regulus decided he was actually going to do anything‡, and none of the "preventive measures" we've taken have worked a bit. Face it, mates. We're inviting the villains to do their thing. Dark Matter's been doing nothing but making moves, the UKR's probably ready to go against the whole reason Orchestra didn't want us to blast them on sight, Kahtos is on the loose, and there's probably like a dozen or so other things on the way. You all wanna wait and be disaster's li'l toy? Fine. But I'm goin' to beat these bogans at their own game. Spear Barrage: (Cutter) The user rapidly throws spears, each in an arc, for constant damage. Each spear individually deals less damage than even one spear in a Triple Spear Throw, but overall can build up the most damage.
