Omega then realizes something...

In an instant, Omega powers up as the Seven Star Pieces surround Luigi, causing the two to enter a state of transformation that greatly surpasses the cat and mouse duo.

The two then charge up big attacks...

Omega Destruction then unleashes a large ki wave imbued with all natural elements while Luigi unleashes a large fireball surrounded by magical sparkles that form the shape of a Star.

With not enough time to dodge such large attacks, the two attempt to guard against it, but are nonetheless overwhelmed. A blinding light envelops the battlefield, forcing even the nearby gods to avert their eyes. The moment the light dies down, Tom and Jerry are on the floor, not dead, but still unable to battle any longer.

Hmm. Disappointing, but expected. (And so close to Super Tom 3, too...)

Omega and Luigi turn their attention to Dastardly.

And now I suppose you're going to take US on next?
Hmm... A good question, actually. I was hoping to focus the entirety of my revenge on Shaggy and Robbie...

Dastardly proceeds to completely face Omega and Luigi.

Seven Star Pieces - (Wishes) The Star Pieces were originally the pieces of Star Road, the place where wishes are granted, made when Exor crashed into it on its way to Bowser's Castle.* However, the Star Pieces used here are replicas of a similar power, created by GRANDER NOVA upon Geno's request during the Beta Diablo fight. When used, they imbue their user with the power of Wishes, allowing them to use their own willpower to manifest nearly any desire; However, using too much of this power will strain the user's body, immobilizing them if the wish is too much for their body to take, or if too many are made at a time.

As Kirby watches Aqua Dolphin dive down, he waits until she is far from sight before thinking to himself.

...Someone only I and the jewel can trust...?
The only person I ever WOULD trust with this objective is someone who'd actually be strong enough to overpower that Cat Demon. And if it's true that even the previous Omni-King, with all HIS power, couldn't kill him, then who would there even be to ask?

...It's likely that Matt, Shaggy, or Robbie could easily be powerful enough to do the task without overwhelming the Jewel... But we can't go to them. They'd see right through me. And even if Cranky Kong wouldn't be the same case, he's allowed himself to become far too senile to use any of his REAL power.

In an instant, Fehta dashes right behind Gatekeeper and hits him extremely hard in the back of the head with the pommel of the sword in his other hand, knocking him out. The portal- which has been conveniently closed by an outside force- is then reopened by Fehta, who pushes the Gatekeeper back in. The portal is then shrouded in a rainbow hue before closing again.

(As much of an hole he apparently is, I should thank Supremo at some point for closing those, seeing as I can't do that myself.)

He returns his attention to Dogma.

I ain't letting this thread die yet... In fact, I'm pumping it full of more life than ever! (Or at least more than it ever had since February/March 2021)

And what better way to do it... Than with a slight rebranding?

Now, I know what you're probably thinking:

"Golly, Beta! That logo sure is atrocious! But with this whole rebranding, what's different?"

Well,

- To make the SFR's Heavy and Low specials actually work, the effect of the Skill Ultra Gem will be altered; It's original purpose- making Heavy, Low, and Normal Specials work based off of input- shall now be a part of the basic gameplay. (Well, hypothetically speaking.)
- There will now be a proper Character Select roster on the main post, displaying "all" of the characters that have been made on this thread. Just something I think will be neat.
  - Note: Some characters made prior to Jazz + have been left unlisted; If the original creators of their characters would like to have   their characters listed, they may request this. Same goes for anyone who would like any of their characters removed.
  - Note 2: This does not include boss characters such as Valgas and Bugzzy, who were made with the intention of not being   playable.
- There will eventually three different "Game Modes": Classic Mode, which chooses fighters at random based on typing, Arcade Mode, which is the same as Classic but with set characters depending on the player character, and Story Mode, which will center around the actual story of the Ultra Gems and their origins. (And yes, those are the canon gem designs on the logo.)
  - The endings we made for our characters will be the endings for the Classic and Arcade Modes, while the Story Mode will have   its own, well, story, and thus its own ending.
  - Note: I will not be working on Story Mode until I make/release the moveset for two particular characters... You won't know who   they are, however, until I make them, and I plan on saving them as the last of my currently planned characters. So, don't cross   your fingers just yet.

Other than that? Nothing, really. However, I did add some new things to my earlier characters:

- Added a ton of new palette swaps. (Note: You do NOT have to make as many as mine. Hell, you don't even have to give your character a mugshot.)
- New alternate outfit + ending for Ninja Man: Ninja Man Ψ (and his Pirate Armor variant)
- New alternate outfit + ending for Sergeant Man: Discorded Sergeant (and his Rememberance variant)
- New alternate outfits + ending for Jazz MKII: J-H Reborn and Synth (of which the latter gets the ending)
- New alternate outfit for Jazz +: Finalem
- New alternate outfits and ending for Mega Man: Helmetless and Bad Box Art (of which the latter gets the ending)

- Bass' Super Bass transformation is now downplayed into the Treble Boost transformation.

The only other Reaper I'd have a chance of talking to would be Chase, but he's too much of a beginner; Last I check, he's still learning how to even be a Reaper.

Some last-minute Essence-spending (since Gamma did say it ends today...)

- 1 Flame and 1 Water Weapon Unlock for Banetem. (I will pick at random later.)
- The essences for the above purchase - as well as 300 Flame and Water essences- will go into unlocking the Scalding element.
- Also throwing in 500 Flame and 500 Shadow essences to unlock the Darkfire element.
- Since I should have enough for this, I will spend 100 Flame and Shadow essences to apply a Darkfire Primary Element to Beta Maximus.
