Meandra's frozen geyser fails to break Yo.C.Tsune's blade...though the delay from the warrior pulling the sword out from the pillar is enough of an opening that while the Silence is just barely dodged, Yo.C.Tsune is hit spot-on by the dark magic orb and Attack From Behind Strike!

Cellval is slightly confused by the "someone", though she provides a simple response for the Energy Pellet.

The subsequent energy drain lands, though while it heals what little health Cellval had below maximum, it seems to suddenly stop, as if there's nothing left to drain...despite Yo.C.Tsune still having plenty of health.
Yo.C.Tsune slices the Marked Wood clean in two, but as the Nanites crawl their way on regardless, Sese sneaks in a Yorick Fastball!

The empty-looking warrior then glows, as two holograms appear beside it...

Each of the holograms tosses a Spinning Spear before disappearing, Orange blocking one of the spears with her own twirling baton!
You think your stick weapon thing's so special, huh?!

Orange just barely leaps out of the way of a dash attack from Yo.C.Tsune itself, blades out front!!

Even with smoke and rubble covering the area, the objects are clean and reflective enough to be seen: Both of them are gilded swords, possibly more sharp than anything anyone present has on them‡.

The flute can no longer be heard, approaching footsteps taking their place.

As Cellval distances herself from Shadow Man R, the source of the footsteps shows themselves, clearing the smoke with a single swing of another gilded sword...
Their body is tall - standing maybe half a meter higher than Saias or Julius - yet thin and flat. If I knew more about Heian Period Japanese clothing maybe I'd be able to describe the hat properly, but alas, I don't.
What stands out the most is their chest; the cavity is mostly empty, the metallic outer "skin" of the Mecha-like being almost looking like a cage to what appears to be a Fusion Star, both points colored after the Cutter type.

The figure turns to the weakened Orange, tossing to her an E-Tank, and an Energy Capsule to Sese...almost as if he knew how much Sese was injured in the Abandoned Facility.
After that, he says nothing, as if waiting for a response, or unable to speak himself.

†Orange technically isn't a human, but a youkai; how different youkai (or yōkai as a good chunk of media transcribes it, Touhou and Len'en being exceptions) are depends on the youkai and the source material; a lot of Touhou and Len'en characters seem like their average youkai wouldn't be far off anatomically from a human, and this definitely applies to Orange here.
TL;DR, No, Orange isn't a human, but yes, that was where her heart would be.
‡(This is not an attempt to escalate the conflict between my characters and the rest in a "I'm rubber, you're glue" kind of way; rather, this is meant to build up to the unique threat an oncoming character poses, even to the characters not attacked by QA.)

Whoever's firing the Blade Launchers, nobody actually sees.

Orange, Sese, and Cellval are the second, third, and fourth to fall out of the rift, all landing on Meandra's water balloon; Orange ends up also bouncing off the water balloon, though with her fall already broken she's more dazed than fazed from landing on the dirt floor.
As Sese helps Orange up (struggling a little bit to pull her after the run-in with the now-gone Mosquitus Wreck), Cellval brushes some dirt off her tail; bushy as it looks, it keeps its form as Cellval brushes, with the tips only jiggling a bit, almost like a firm elastic.
None of the three get the chance to respond to the ninja-like figure before the robot with a shape much like Drill Man makes himself known, Cellval's tail spiking up as she nervously takes a wide stance!
Huh?! Why're you...?!
Wait...are you one of-
As the torrent pushes DrillMan◇ (a name Cellval doesn't know yet) and Orange is blasted back, the young youkai is only stopped from being knocked back by the water balloon!
*cough* Rgh...
Orange staggers once or twice as she pulls herself up this time. She readies a fighting stance, though her legs seem to shake a bit from fatigue.
Y-you wanna play rough?!
Orange and Cellval seem prepared to fight back, Sese slightly unsure but still caring for their friends.

Amidst all the madness, the whistling of a flute echoes through the quarry...

Alas, Cellval is already gone through the rift, the figure being pulled through just the same!!

*REFERENCE/EXPLANATION: Mega Man X3 has two endings. In one of these endings, Zero saves X from the Sigma Virus with an anti-Sigma Virus program given to Zero by Dr. Doppler. If the player loses Zero's health at some point in the game before this, Dr. Doppler stops the Sigma Virus himself at the same spot Zero does (Neither ending suggests Dr. Doppler survives the end of the game). If Zero is kept healthy up to the fight against Mosquitus in Doppler Stage 2 (Mosquitus appearing if Vile MK-II has been defeated beforehand), Mosquitus will damage Zero in a last-ditch attack. If this happens, the aforementioned Doppler ending plays out, but X is also granted the Z-Saber for the remaining game. All the while, Mosquitus Wreck, while seemingly tethered to the rift by the crude chain shoved into its body, uses a proboscis to sap the liquid from an odd green vat...

As Mosquitus Wreck is Silenced, Meandra's wave attack strikes the four machines, wrecking three of them. While said 3 (besides Mosquitus Wreck) had yet to be provoked, eight others now are.

As the army opens fire and takes charge, Cellval quickly raises a Cel-Barrier, blocking the Earth Commanders and protecting the party from the Meta Capsule blasts!
This keeps us safe. Stop them!

Silenced RECAP: A status effect. Temporarily disables the target's projectile attacks.
Cel-Barrier: (Assembly/Shield) Cellval summons a hexagon-shaped barrier, covering herself and allies. The barrier briefly protects anyone covered from weaker attacks, slightly reduces damage from stronger attacks, and slightly increases the damage dealt by those protected.
Blitz Whip RECAP: (Electric/Swift) "Whips" of electric energy expand from the tips of Orange's baton as she twirls it, striking the target with a thin lightning bolt with each lash.
"Blotchy Rib Roast": (Shadow/Grapple) A Spell Card where Sese clamps the opponent in a set of giant rib bones.

As she approaches the mass of broken conveyors and construction blocks, Orange takes a moment to stop and focus on just what else is infesting the area. Sese and Cellval take similar approaches, except they actually think to hide themselves behind some of the facility's steel platforms.

It's immediately clear that the area is swarming with machines...all of which seem to be emerging from a glowing, star-shaped rift.
Amidst a sea of wreckage, one machine stands out, with a mosquito-like shape to it, including two large arms...

...that it very nearly grabs Orange with before Sese smacks it in the face with a Yorick Fastball!

*This is going off the assumption that when Post #1 of this page said Lucemon "(went) to the tower", it meant he went in the tower, as opposed to watching the upper floors from outside (or any other way the phrase could be interpreted); if this isn't what that meant I will re-write this section to match the proper meaning.
