Amidst the cold crackling of the half-frozen ice and the flowing of a frigid creek, the only sounds around to overpower them are heavy footsteps.
The footsteps are coming from a tall figure - roughly Mechabit's height, give or take about a foot (or 30 centimeters). Bulky yet gangly, the figure seems as if they're in the middle of building (or rebuilding) themselves, what with all the piston-like shapes, and the wires under the cape hanging from their waist.
(All of this...it only made sense.)
(Even if I don't know what erased most lingering traces of Limited on our map*, I know one thing for sure...)
(It would take a far more thourough attack, maybe not even that, to put it down for good.
(It was all a matter of when they would reconstruct, and where they would hide themselves as they evolved to bypass our normal radars...)
(Of course, they say "know your enemy".)
(And there's no way to know them more than being born of the same cloth.)

The sound of a whistle plays from the TV as the blonde one throws her arms in the air excitedly, the other two slumping back on the front of a couch they're sitting in front, exhausted.

The sun shines high over the town, significantly cleaner than it was when Kirby first set off, with the help of Bandanna Dee and the few dozen Waddle Dees either saved from the Clockers' first attack or brought back to town after being rescued by Kirby. From a pair of clean benches near the center of the town, to a small alley with a machine that sell random figures, to an entire theater and a weapons shop, it's already a little more than the town was before the Clocker attack.
Speaking of the weapons shop, the goggle-wearing Waddle Dee - now known well by his peers as the Weapons Shop Waddle Dee, is talking with his neighbor Dees, who are helping make sure the town only grows more.
So, how's the house going? Heh, that's kinda fun to say...

The book did not exist at the time the characters were introduced, thus "Mecha Sonic" was the title given to "Mark II" (unofficially one of the most popular choices for the name), with the name "Silver Sonic" coming from the US manual for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Game Gear (the name also being re-used for a mass-produced version of the character seen in Sonic Mania), and "Robo Sonic" coming from LEGO Dimensions.

Naturally, all nine robots are shocked by the sudden blast, no matter how much they suspected it...
...though Mechabit seems to react with more. His breathing gets heavier by the second, his eye glitches as if it were a twitching eyelid, he pulls one of his arms back, the drill spinning like crazy...

Her concern growing, Sanae calls Kanako over. Schmitt and Re-Class end up reading from behind as well.

As they soar, the figure looks down at their hand, holding a dull, blocky object with a faint electric spark...

Sanae's eyes widen as she reads the bottom of the note.

†RECAP: The victim of the Gemini TV Tournament that has since been discussed was Rumia, a friend of Kanako and Schmitt (among others, being part of the "Brash Crew"). While Kanako (far before having faced Metaverse Enterprise Solutions and Evil Otto) was initially willing to advertise the Moriya Shrine by sponsoring the event, she took away the money she offered in the middle of the debacle following Rumia's injury.

Schmitt and Re-Class sit in the shrine, Schmitt explaining to Kanako why they've come to see her.

And I do think I have some thing to say about this situation. But it's from something else. Something I've faced more recently.

I want to start by saying I used to be very open to doing whatever I could to get the shrine's name out there. Even if I had a regret like that once before, I didn't take it back until after it may as well have been to save my own publicity†...
...but there's something that happened last year that felt like a warning of where my methods would take me.
I've spared most people the details for the sake of not giving them fear over something they can't control, but, put simply...
...I was given an offer. And in my pragmatism, I took it. The offer seemed innocuous on the surface, but there was an agenda deep within. One that involved things nobody deserves to face.
...and yet that agenda, itself, was more of a misguided call for help. None within the company who offered knew, but there was another force keeping them restrained. And that force's plans...I don't even want to say.
But they made me want to find that force. For a few months, I was dedicating everything to trying to find them and get the first strike.
*sigh* My search was empty-handed. And that was when I felt I needed to change my stance - forgive me for stalling, but this is where I think this could play into what you're facing.
I do not spend every waking moment trying to fight them. Not out of apathy, but out of the realization that, right now, I have nothing in my power to stop them safely, and trying would only hurt my chances as helping those I could help at the moment. But I do remember that they are a problem, and if an honest, safe opportunity arose, I would take it. Even if I learned something small, I'd do what I could, even if it didn't get me to a direct confrontation. Put simply, I wait until I can fight it without being reckless.
And I would suggest something similar for your case. Even if Gemini TV has the resources to keep an immediate attack of their property from turning more people against them, there may be things they do that have even small effects to their benefit. Fighting that can be as simple as not buying a product from them or a subsidiary. And even if you don't speak it as often or violently - it can be something as small as saying "I don't like what they do" when someone offers, without even meaning it against whoever offered - it can make a difference. It will be small and gradual, yes, but I think it will have greater effect in the long run. Much as I hope my own searches will have greater effect in the long run...
Schmitt and Re-Class are a little unsure how to respond to Kanako's heavy words, but eventually they agree on a simple response:

As Schmitt tries to think of the right parting words for Kanako's help, a familiar figure enters the room.

Mechabit steps back as he hears the story, almost staggering as fear pushes to the front of his mind.
D-R Shark, meanwhile, clutches his chest, doing some deep breathing before speaking up.
...I...I'll be real, I don't blame you, Doc. You had no real way of knowing what he was gonna do, and not a lot of options...

Look, Doc, I'll be honest with you. Sudden attack aside, we'd pretty much moved on from you. The six-no, the nine of us have stuck together through thick and thin, and however it played out, we were there for each other.
