Legacy Aeon keeps up with his Chaingun, as Collateral Aeon switches out Mad Grinder.
Suddenly, a speedy, green blur with a blue glow fires quite a bit of Time Arrows at Shake King's back, as a barrage of blocks soon follows from above! The sources turn out to be Parallel Fuse Man and Parallel Block Man, respectively!

...Only for the rocket to explode on contact, comboing nicely into the Mowhawk Buzzsaw! Legacy Aeon then tires his Chaingun again, while Collateral Aeon tries to undo the shrinkage somehow!

(What exactly was CAUSING the shrinkage?)

Legacy Aeon dodges, but then fires his Rocket Launcher! Collateral Aeon goes for a regular attack, whilst Mad Grinder uses his Buzzsaw Mowhawk!

However, Collateral Aeon had erased time to dodge the attack! Suddenly...!

 IS THE IRONY NOT F*REGGAE'D*KING DELICOUS!?

Before Flash Man NC can react, Mad Grinder falls on top of Flash Man NC roller-first! Mad Grinder tries to flatten Flash Man NC further by spinning his roller rapidly in a way that digs into the ground without moving forward!
Move Name: Time Erasure
Type: Time
Description: The user erases time, allowing them to completely skip the enemy move it was activated on, and prevent it from happening! Be careful, as this can only be used once every 3 turns.

Collateral Aeon then switches to Time Mode right when the timestop ends, assuming it already has! Legacy Aeon, meanwhile, fires off an Ice Bomb from his shoulder cannon at Flash Man NC!

 I told ya. The only reason I was actually frozen the first time you tried that on me is because you caught me off-guard that time. THIS time, however, there's no risk of you being able to do that.
Move Name: Ice Bomb
Type: Freeze/Explode
Description: The user shoots a grenade that, upon contact, flash-freezes any terrain and enemies caught in the explosion, dealing a small amount of damage and reducing the enemy's Speed by one stage! This also Freezes the enemy.

Status Name: Frozen
Description: The recipient is frozen in a block of ice, preventing them from moving, but also halving damage they take. This can't be inflicted on Freeze-Types, Flame-types that aren't weak to Freeze, or those with an Immunity or Affinity to Freeze.

(But you see, using Giga Blast actually takes like 3 seconds. Also, I'm talking a MASSIVE explosion, not your average Napalm Bomb type one. Since that should be Collateral Aeon's one action within frozen time, I'm pretty sure Flash Man NC used up most of his timestop, too.)

Collateral Aeon manages to move within frozen for about 4 seconds, and tries to nail Flash Man NC with a Giga Blast!

(So, by natural ability, you mean Skill, right? Because that's what they're called in the Prototype.)

 Okay, but have you ever been set ON THUNDER!?

Legacy Aeon suddenly pulls out his Plasma Rifle again, and fires off a Microwave Beam!
Collateral Aeon then follows up with a Hydro Crash!
Move Name: Microwave Beam
Type: Electric/Laser
Description: The user discharges a rapid beam of plasma at an enemy, dealing damage on contact! This attack will continue firing the beam until either the target is disabled or the user runs out of WE or Plasma Cells. At the end of the assault, the target's Speed temporarily goes down by stages equal to the amount of times this attack hit them.

Terminology: Temporary Stat Buffs/Debuffs | These act like regular buffs and debuffs, but one stage of each fades away at the end of each turn, and they can be stacked beyond 5 stages.

Both Collateral Aeon and Legacy Aeon dodge the attack!

 Yeesh, I do NOT know if I wanna be hit by THAT thing.
 Eh, you get used tot his kind of thing eventually. Seriously, I've BEEN to hell, and in some areas, the ground is literally made of entrails. Seriously, it starts with that RIGHT as you get to E3M1.
 ...I'm not gonna even PRETEND to know what the crap you're talking about, you wanna focus on debuffs this phase?
 Oh, sure, because I TOTALLY have easy access to the stuff. NOT. But I'll see what I can do.

Legacy Aeon's shoulder opens up, as a shoulder cannon pops out! The shoulder cannon then arks fire at Flash Man NC!
Move Name: Flame Belch
Type: Flame
Description: The user shoots a plume of fire at the enemy, dealing damage and inflicting Burn! If this attack finishes an enemy off, the user's Defense sharply rises.

Status Name: Burn
Description: The recipient is burning, dealing Flame damage to them over time! This can't be inflicted on Flame-types, or those with an Immunity or Affinity to Flame.

Phantasm takes quite a bit of damage, but Shired barely takes any at all! Shired then throws the Skull Barrier at Inary MP! Phantasm, instead of using a follow-up attack... equips a Cutter Core?
Suddenly, Cardboard Phantasm gains the ability to use Cutter-type abilities, as demonstrated by him blocking the Cross Divide with a Flame Sword!

   Well welly well, looks like we've got a good ol' fashioned swordfight going on here!
Since Flash Man NC apparently didn't try to guard against the Chaingun bullets, he gets hit by them! Legacy Aeon shoots another Stun Bomb, stunning Flash Man NC!

 F*REGGAE'D* 'im up!

Collateral Aeon uses the opportunity to get as close to Flash Man NC as possible WITHOUT getting within timestop range, and unleashes a Light Devourer!
Move Name: Light Devourer
Type: Shadow/Empty
Description: The user summons a small black hole, dealing INSANELY MASSIVE damage to all enemies, and restoring the user's health by half that amount! If an enemy has Electric, Flame, Crystal, or Laser as one of their types, this ability WILL pierce that particular enemy's Resistances, Immunities, and Affinities! Do keep in mind, however, that the user has to waste a turn charging the attack first, even if the user is holding a Charge Module, and has to waste the turn after usage recharging.

The abbreviation for a series of RPGs called Shin Megami Tensei, that's what the f*REGGAE'D* it is. It involves you killing and recruiting demons, and most entires in the series are VERY difficult. I wouldn't say Dark Souls-tier since I haven't fully played a Dark Souls game, but still difficult.

Closed the tab before the video could play. On an unrelated note, I recently beat SMT Strange Journey Redux's old Chaos route for the first time. And let me say, Pillair Zelenin was a breath of fresh air after the madness that was Alex's last fight before you deliver the Cosmic Eggs to Mem Aleph.

*INVISIBLE SMIRKING INTENSIFIES  Too bad it's NEVER going to work!

Phantasm uses Defense Cosmology on the team, raising their Defense by 2 stages!
Shired creates a Skull Barrier around himself!
Cardboard Phantasm turns out to be immune to Space type attacks, and suddenly uses an Astro Crush!
Legacy Aeon then pulls out his Chaingun and opens fire on Flash Man NC!
Collateral Aeon fires off a Giga Blast at Flash Man NC!
Move Name: Giga Blast
Type: Explode
Description: The user causes a MASSIVE explosion, dealing equally-massive damage with an increased rate of critical hit! This also ignores half of the target's defense and ignores Affinities, and treats Immunities as though they were merely resistances!

(First of all, you could have SAID there were portals involved. Second, I'm pretty sure at minimum ONE of the portals could have gone up between the defeat of Bubble NC and the start of the Air Man NC fight. Third, it's not called Skewer. Would it kill you to use the full names of attacks? Better watch out by the way, I'm about to hit you with the ever-iconic weapons known as Blade, Hold, and Stopper! Shame I didn't equip Shield or Shot for this fight, though.)

Collateral Aeon guards against the knives by stopping them midair with a Hydro Crash, whilst Legacy Aeon goes for a Stun Bomb!
Move Name: Hydro Crash
Type: Water
Description: The user causes a massive waterfall to crash down upon the target, dealing massive damage and worsening stat debuffs!*

Move Name: Stun Bomb
Type: Electric/Explode
Description: The user fires a condensed pulse of electricity, dealing damage to the target and stunning them!
*I added the "worsening" tag to Hydro Crash to set it apart from most one-target Water-type moves.

However, as The World is a short-range stand, neither Legacy Aeon nor Collateral Aeon were hit!

Collateral Aeon uses Omniskewer, whilst Legacy Aeon fires his Plasma Rifle!
Move Name: Omniskewer
Type: Cutter
Description: The user, Collateral Aeon, places one or both hands on the ground, causing a bunch of big spikes to erupt from the ground under all enemies, dealing massive damage and, when charged, ignoring three-quarters (75%) of their Defense!

Weapon Name: Plasma Rifle
Type: Electric
Description: A rapid-fire gun that fires weak superheated plasma that has the ability to overload energy-based shields, causing them to explode.
