Joyous Tower - Floor 99

Meta Knight slips between and through every lash with a Light Arc!
I know that all too well. But carrying that burden can save a warrior from their greatest weaknesses...
As the pillars of Hope crash into the figure, a Saintly Beam strikes from behind!
Those they never see for themselves.
Mecha Sonic is taken slightly aback by the the sparkles...
Light Arc: (Hope/Swift) Meta Knight rapidly leaps around as a ball of bright Hope magic, firing thin light pillars each time he lands, with each pillar flying toward the opponent.
Saintly Beam: (Hope/Laser) Bandanna Waddle Dee fires a laser of Hope magic from the tip of his spear. Cannot be blocked.

Joyous Tower - Floor 99

Meta Knight parries the Knight Beams!
Even if I hadn't proven myself before*, one thing stands between us now more than ever. I have more than my own pride to rely on.
He then unleashes a Galaxia Light upon the figure!
(Character Group Battle Theme) ♫ Sonic & Knuckles - The Doomsday Zone (Remix) ♫
Sanae Silences Robo Sonic with a Silent Hurricane, sending him flying around and nearly tearing him apart...leaving an opening for Kogasa!
Game Over "Press 'R' to Try Again"
Robo Sonic is reduced to scrap by the barrage!
The last one standing, Mecha Sonic watches the detached Floors 35-53 explode in the distance†, then looks down to one of the remaining lower floors...
Well, look who decided to come to the family reunion.
Galaxia Light RECAP‡: (Shadow/Hope§) Meta Knight swings his sword, unleashing a ray of Hope magic.
Silent Hurricane RECAP‡: (Wind/Weapons) Sanae uses her Wind magic to summon a giant hurricane that has a chance of Silencing one of the opponents.
Game Over "Press 'R' to Try Again" RECAP‡: (Damage/Weapons, Empty) A Spell Card where Kogasa attacks with a barrage of fruit, spike, and Moon, with each one capable of blowing off her opponent's limbs.

Silenced RECAP‡: A status effect. Temporarily disables the target's projectile attacks.|

Hope: An Artificial Element¶. Represents powerful (and often heavenly-looking) positive power derived from Hope Energy.
*Reference: Kirby Super Star Ultra, Kirby Planet Robobot; arguably Kirby's Return to Dream Land/Kirby's Adventure Wii as well
†Since everything below Floor 68 was broken off on Page 105, Post #6.
‡I usually save these kinds of recaps for stuff that was in Thread 1, but since it's getting climactic I figure it's better to just re-explain than make someone look for the relevant post
§Re-typed from Light-type now that the type's officially been tied to the Prototype system
|Probably should have explained before, but seeing how usually Silence means "no magic attacks" in RPGs, this seemed like an equivalent change since said RPGs generally don't have things like Mega Busters
¶Or at least I assume it would count as one, since like the Fake/Artificial Types listed before it's not something used for weapons in MMRPG proper regardless of what the Type actually represents

Joyous Tower - Floor 99

The seemingly-invisible blade slashing Keeby finds itself clashed...by Meta Knight!
It always ends up between the two of us...
The Sol Emeralds once again power up Fang into Flaming Fang!
Ya got that right, Blaze!
Fang charges straight into Silver Sonic, pelting him with thousands of fireballs before Double Tail Whapping him right in front of Daiyousei!
...
"Image of Nature"
Silver Sonic is obliterated by a burst of sharp natural energy!
Double Tail Whap RECAP: (Shadow/Impact) The user smacks the opponents twice with their tail.
"Image of Nature": (Nature/Attack) Daiyousei's 30th Spell Card*. The opponent is skewered with a giant kunai-shaped energy bullet formed from raw natural energy, the same as that which Gensokyo's fairies are born from. Immunities/Affinities to Nature or Attack will simply turn the Spell Card into one or the other, or make it typeless if such a reaction applies to both types.
*Recap (2K Arc, Regulus Arc): The "main" plot of the 2K Arc centered around a Nintendo 64 tournament (later shortened to just Mario Kart 64) with a prize of 30 empty Spell Cards. Having never owned a Spell Card before, Daiyousei was more than eager to participate, and ended up winning the tournament. When Regulus became an imminent threat next arc, Meta Knight helped her train to use her remaining 29 Spell Cards (the first was used against a brainwashed Rumia before Regulus entered the main plot); the 30th Spell Card would've been saved for late into the fight against Regulus as a "finisher", and you can probably guess how that plan turned out.

As attacks fly into Mecha Sonic and Beta Diablo from every which way, Mecha slowly floats toward him.
As long as there's existence, there's something to feel. Something to desire, something to regret, something to hate, love...something to fear.
It's not what one does before emptiness, but emptiness itself that takes all of that away. Nobody will remember what they wanted, nobody will remember what they enjoyed, and nobody will remember what hurt.
And with what we know, we can destroy the emptiness you're obsessed with. Allow a true eternity. No Judgement Day, no Heat Death, just existence with no end. And with that existence, all of those memories stay.
And before you tell me that we can't control that in the whole Omniverse, we know. But neither can you.
This Omniverse may never truly belong to either of us, but while we can use that to take control of every part that we can latch onto, you can only act that part if people let you. The Absurd Roleplay would still be more than a lingering memory if its Reaper disagreed with the Trio of Origin.
The truth is, the ultimate decision goes to the creator of MMRPG. This Omniverse's greater purpose is more than the worlds you and I live in, and I fail to see why one would take down a whole game of their own just because of the wrath in one part of the forums.
So while the extent of your destruction is limited to those weak enough to accept words such as "End of Roleplay", our conquest is limited only by what limits the Omniverse as a whole. What limits the Multi-Omniverse.
And we've come to terms with that. We can still endure in our own way, and even if we decay from means out of even a Reaper's control, we can return elsewhere to continue.
Yes, it may be egotistical. But unlike your dream of hastening the end, we can achieve it.

Joyous Tower - Floor 18

As Dark Elf and the three Hope-wielders continue to ward off any Devils from the opened portal they can*, over half of the tower is forcibly ripped away from below, and sent flying into the distance.
Joyous Tower - Floor 99

Eclipse Blasts continue to blow holes in the tower as Floors 68 and above begin to fall!
I know I say this often - and with good reason - but this, Diablo? This is pathetic. Particularly so.
Letting Nuru continue with this whole nonsense about what would have happened if you won? Sitting back and giving your posthumous actions the lion's share?
Mecha Sonic grabs Hub's head, and begins to squeeze his skull just hard enough for it to hurt, but just shy of though to shatter it.
Oblivion and armies mean nothing. You may think it otherwise, but those sparks of time only existed because we were hiding in an altered past so people would stop trying to get in our hair before you stopped prancing around nowhere like a fool.
Robo Sonic paralyzes Fortem, and slowly begins to quarter† him with his bare hands. A circle of Eraser Discs surround him for when Bane inevitably makes his move.
Considering how all-seeing you probably are‡, you should know that we expect to be treated as top-level threats, and are more than pleased to take the measures that prove us as such.
Silver Sonic begins violently stretching and squishing Quin like a ball of clay. Any Grey Matter that tries to infect him is immediately vaporized by the Chaos Ring energy harnessed from the Lyla's Ruins gems.
By that point, maybe people will stop grouping us with the electric crybaby, the gluttonous orangutan, and the mutts in the Gummi Ship§.
Halfway through that last sentence, a Metal Melder scrapes through Team Mecha, catching Mecha Sonic's attention (though not before actually finishing his sentence).
What, so it's still all about you just wanting attention?!
How about you talk to a couple of THESE?!
Dyna Man flies right up to Mecha, and as Hub is casually tossed into Floor 77, the two begin trading blows face-to-face!
You know, it doesn't take a corrupted alter-ego to be told just how mindless you are. The moment you made the crater and someone gave even the slightest insult, you went ballistic on them even though they could've ended the whole Omniverse if they wanted. You spontaneously learned how to hear him from inside someone just to try beating him up.|
Dyna quickly veers to the side as Konngara stabs straight through Mecha Sonic - again, leaving little visible damage, but still making herself clear.
We're not going to cry about our insecurities when we're trying to keep the world from ending.
Gravity Controller: (Space/Electric) Mecha Sonic forcibly shifts the gravity of the target opponent/area and thrusts them violently in a direction of his choosing.
Metal Melder: (Cutter/Space) Volt Man summons 20 pieces of scrap metal that home in on the opponent, four at a time. Any that miss are combined into a sharp amalgamation of scrap that homes in on the opponent again.
*(OOC: And by that I mean making it clear I don't plan on putting my own spin on this new use of the Alt. Futures)
†As in "drawn and quartered".
‡And thus, aware of how the events of Page 93, Post #10 were "retconned" by Ninja Phantom and Team Mecha themselves - that is to say, they still happened, but only Reapers, fourth-wall breakers, iX, Nightmare Iris, and Ninten know.
§Referring to (in order) Surge Man, Trio.EXE (who debuted (Thread 1, Page 49, Post #16) as Lanky Kong), and Singularity, all of whom have had relatively smaller legacies than other antagonists. (I'm aware that's set to change in Singularity's case, I'm mainly talking about in the present)

Joyous Tower - Floor 100

AN ECLIPSE BLAST OBLITERATES THE ENTIRE TOP FLOOR OF THE BUILDING  as each and every Devil is frozen in place.
What was that you said, again, Devil? That our stories ended long before yours did*?
Well, if you've made anything clear,  both here and before this world,  it's that someone can write themselves a new story after the fact. My brothers and I are no exceptions.
*BZZZT*  He aims straight for Diablo.
And you think as a being of "pure evil", embodying all evil, you're the most vile. Failing to take into account the opportunities that show themselves when you do more than destr-
Team Mecha is knocked back by a Sol Ring!
That's enough out of you.
Eclipse Blast: (Time/Explode) Created from data from the Eclipse Cannon's laser. Robo Sonic creates a burst of energy that pierces nearly all known defenses, including anything with the Shield type.
Silver Viper: (Swift/Wind) Created from data used to build the Egg Viper. Silver Sonic Prime twists his arms into the shape of a snake body, charging into opponents and hitting them with lasers.
Sol Ring: (Flame) The user fires a flaming ring projectile at the opponent(s), dealing heavy damage and healing all allies just as much.
*Beta Devil said this in response to Robo Sonic (in a very roundabout way) calling him garbage during the latter's debut (Post #13).

Joyous Tower - Floor 100

Each target is immediately protected by an electric barrier as Energy Slice B-Ranks and Neutron Blasts fill the air, swarming both the Devils and Diablo!
Descant...please be careful.
I will, Dad.
Descant concentrates, blasting beta Diablo with a Evolution Burst, imbued with Electric, Shield, Missile, Cutter, Laser, Shadow, Level, Energy, Empty, and Flame power!
Meanwhile, as Super Neo Metal Sonic continues to chip away at the archdemon, the one actually holding the Super Emeralds steps out.
It's now or never. Yoshi, be ready.
Sonic Man tosses Yoshi the Crystal Stars, which he absorbs, transforming him into a form representing those who battled the Shadow Queen and faced her curse so long ago: Shadow Hero Yoshi!
Hrrnnngh... (You haven't had enough, have you, Beady?)
Shadow Hero Yoshi flies over Diablo, slicing him every which way with a Piercing Supernova!
New Energy Slice Power Level: B-Rank
Neutron Blast: (Energy/Explode) Enemice HL fires a spread of three continuous subatomic particle beams that intersect on the target.
Evolution Burst: (Energy/Explode) Descant builds up immense amounts of energy to fire an explosive projectile with the elements of all abilities she's inherited up to that point. The Explode-typing doesn't actually effect resistances, multipliers, etc. unless Descant has learned an Explode-type move.
Piercing Supernova: (Cutter/Crystal) Wielding the  Crystal  Star, the user slices through the target up to 5 times, all strikes piercing shields.

As the Hope-wielding trio gets up, a puff of sparkling smoke appears behind them and Kirby, healing them all with Megalixirs!
Usually I'd like to stay out of these things...but this is turning out to be quite the show!
As Heavy Magician circles Diablo with a Card Scatter, 12 more figures appear!
So we're on the same page this time, Spinni?
For certian, boss.
Spinni
Stylish Treasure Snatcher

Blurred strikes, powerful blunt objects, electric blasts, and Triple Stars Home in on Diablo and the appearing Devils from all directions!
We're gonna have t' wing it this time, huh?
Rho-volt Torch Man
Machine Standing Before the Evil Eye
Torch Man of MMRPG-???-DOS
Formerly Revolt Torch Man

In a sense, we always do. But this time, we know what makes him tick...
Disast-R Oil Man
Oil-Slathered Juggernaut
Oil Man of MMRPG-???-DOS
Formerly Revolt Oil Man*

As most of the Revolt Robots attack from afar, Rho-volt Torch wards off the Devils with a Refulgence as Disast-R Oil closes in on Diablo with a Fossil Ascension!
A Wood Burst also appears over Diablo, along with...
He's all yours, Chunky!
URAAAAGGHH!!
Tapping into his "Ape Action", Chunky strikes Diablo with two pre-wound Primate Punches, following with a rapid string of instant physical blows!
Card Scatter: (Time/Cutter) Heavy Magician surrounds herself with silver playing cards, slicing through anyone within range.
Hammer Drop: (Impact) Storo swings a hammer straight down.
Triple Star: (Space/Crystal) Daroach swings his cane, firing three starry projectiles that bounce off surfaces.
Refulgence: (Flame/Crystal) Given as an upgrade by Rika, based on an unusual psychic power. Rho-volt Torch envelops himself in a flaming pillar, then fires off flaming spheres; first in a four-spiral pattern, then condensed into a spread of five groups.
Fossil Ascension: (Earth/Crystal) Given as one of Dark Prince's upgrades. A beam of bright light sends Disast-R Oil Man and his opponent(s) into the air, and the target(s) are struck with rising fossil fuels.
Wood Burst: (Nature/Explode) Diddy Kong uses his Nature magic to unleash a rapid series of explosions over the target.
Primate Punch RECAP  (Sandwichium Knucklus): (Impact) Chunky Kong punches the opponent. Despite being incredibly simple in concept, and having long windup, it is among the strongest attacks that a mortal Kong can use†.

Chunky Kong's Skill: Ape Action  (Ultrus Instinctum): Chunky Kong can willingly seperate his mind and body, allowing him to attack and dodge at immense speeds. As opposed to the likes of Beta Shadow and Mr. Dink‡, Chunky Kong seems to truly depend on instinct, only deviating from non-combat actions (like healing allies or talking) when out of "Ape Action" mode. If I'm still getting Ultra Instinct wrong, please let me know if you actually actively watch/read Dragon Ball material.
*Recap (Badnik Arc): Revolt Oil Man was repaired from almost nothing by Dark Prince following, again, the early failed battle against Mecha Sonic.
†I say this less as an attempt at enforcing power scaling and more because it legitimately is one of the strongest attacks in Donkey Kong 64.
‡Reference/Recap: From Doug; claimed by TheHighTower in the first thread, but hasn't appeared in the second thread. I was a little short on examples that weren't Shaggy, okay?

Joyous Tower - Floor 100

As Rumia flies back from Nuru's impact, a wall of Garbage Puyo cushion the blow as she's carefully pulled back aloft...
You all right?
Yeah. Thanks.
Two blurs fly straight toward Beta Devil, one wreathed in electricity!
*static hiss*
We don't care what you want, you don't belong here!
As the High Jump Kick and Phosphoratorium make contact, five more figures appear, three in a flash of light...
You ready?
Ready t' hope for da best, certainly.
And hope is on our side.
Kogasa and Dedede team up to unleash a Nucleation, and as Dark Elf shields Stellar and Bladesmatter just in case, Meta Knight, Bandanna Dee, and R.O.B. blast Diablo with a Trinity Dream!
High Jump Kick: (Impact) An ability learned from Advancing Karate Chop. 'M FF jumps into the air and strikes the opponent with a powerful aerial kick.
Phosphoratorium: (Electric/Swift) Orange envelops her baton in Electric magic and tosses it forward, leaving behind a trail of electricity, then dashes under said trail to catch her baton at a certain distance.
Nucleation: (Flame/Freeze) With the contrast of their respective Fire and Ice magic, Kogasa and King Dedede pelt the opponent(s) with hundreds of clusters of ice and fire. Damage is also affected by Water-based modifiers.
Trinity Dream: (Light) Meta Knight, R.O.B., and Bandanna Waddle Dee combine their Hope magic to create a star of pure light that unleashes waves of bright energy.

Six mechs float down from above, circling the tower!
...well, I'm using the term "mech" very loosely. For what it's worth, a Mecha is inside each.
Your battling for the sake of wrath has no worth to us!
Ben K
Weapon Collector Mecha
A Ben K from MMRPG-???
Outside of the RB-79 Ball he looks like this:

...hey Up, which button do I press?
Foot Holder
Helpful Platform Mecha
A Foot Holder from MMRPG-???
He looks like this:

All of them!!
As the machines fire madly, three more giant metal beasts enter the view...starting with the Evil Eye Sigma!
Sorry for the holdup, guys. I know what to do.
Following close behind are the Tinker Tank and the Tinker Gouf Althaea!
Let's give 'im heaven, Marshmallow!
FILTH GIVEN FLESH, TASTE SCALDING PAIN!!
Lasers, drills, and boiling tea fill the air!

Joyous Tower - Floor 100

"Fairy's Army"
A fair figure flies in, her attack power raised along with her allies; including three who just entered the scene.
We're in this together.
Daiyousei
Average Lake Fairy

The ultimate challenge has shown itself, AND WE SHALL TRUIMPH!!!
Gilgamesh double-stabs Beta Diablo with his Iron Lance and Shogun Staff!
Yeah! We can't lose!
Rumia batters Diablo with a Doomsday's Dusk!
...
Without a word, Shadow Digital slices into Diablo with a Lethal Frame!
Finally, Daiyousei blasts the demon with a second Spell Card!!
Elemental Mask "Shadow Mist"
Chaos Angel Zone (Bad Past)

As the "bubble" continues to rise and condense, the team is shunted out, with only a few preparing themselves in time!
Joyous Tower - Floor 100

The group of 13 (17 when adding Choice Man, Dragon, and the Clock Men) find themselves in the heat of the battle.
From behind Metal Sonic, the Super Emeralds* use some of their power to strengthen him back into Super Neo Metal Sonic!
I won't waste this power again†. Let us show you what we're made of.
Diablo is assaulted by the entire makeshift team, including dozens of Black Metal Lasers!
"Fairy's Army" RECAP: (Copy/Experience) A Spell Card where Daiyousei combines her own attacks with attacks used by her battle partners, creating a stronger attack than the two attacks used seperately.
Doomsday's Dusk: (Shadow/Impact) Rumia uses her Dark magic to summon a cluster of shadowy meteors that combine and crash down onto the opponent(s).
Iron Lance: (Cutter/Swift) A weapon that allows the user to strike before the opponent can react. Supposedly came from a land known as Mercadia, but the hilt seems a little thicker than it should be...
Shogun Staff: (Weapons/Impact) Obtained from a defeated Coda Shogun. I'm not actually sure what it does.
Lethal Frame: (Time/Cutter) Shadow Digital stops time and unleashes a flurry of slices on the opponent, who isn't affected until after time resumes again.
Elemental Mask "Shadow Mist": (Copy/Weapons, Shadow/Water) Daiyousei taps into mysterious Shadow elemental power and unleashes a dense flurry of dark water danmaku, dealing intense, rapid damage.
New Metal Laser Power Level: Black
*Recap: Just to clarify: While the "Super Emeralds" in the Sonic series are normally just powered-up Chaos Emeralds, the Super Emeralds that have been found since the Regulus Arc are a seperate set of 7 emeralds.
†Recap: The last time Metal Sonic used his Super Neo Metal form was right before the battle against Regulus. And of course, he wasn't among the 2 people who actually got to damage Regulus (3 people if you count Regulus himself).

Doppler Labs - Guest Room

In that case, there's no time for hesitation.
The locked safe of Chaos Rings, Sage Medallions, Crystal Stars, and Super Emeralds immediately opens up, and in a flash, the entire (present) Brash Crew and all the artifacts are gone from the lab. At the same time, a portal to Joyous Tower opens for the lab's guests.
Joyous Tower - Floor 100

Wind God Sign "Mishabashira"
Rings of intersecting danmaku and danmaku lasers fly right toward Beta Devil, surrounded by flames, tornadoes, and bubbles!
The quintet responsible flies overhead, one with wings, and one with an airbike...
Thought we'd be late t' the party, huh?
At the same time, a missile flies overhead, surrounded by Shadow Runners, with a flaming figure standing overhead...
About time things got interesting!
Lulu
Ally of the P-Kids
Rulue of MMRPG-???-"P-KIDS"

The missile unfolds into a figure as Lulu strikes with a Burning Fist!
You ever wonder what it'd feel like if you were everything you ever destroyed?
Dangan Man
A Bullet in Time
Dangan Man of MMRPG-CZ-Dimension 1-Timeline "LV"*

Chaos Angel Zone (Bad Past)

Without warning, the Silent Siren vanishes, and the "bubble" loosely surrounding the Zone begins to rise...
Wind God Sign "Mishabashira" RECAP: (Wind/Weapons, Wind/Earth) A Spell Card shared between Suwako and Kanako. Suwako fires rings of oval-shaped danmaku that intersect as they move outward, while Kanako summons a barrage of danmaku lasers.
Shadow Runner RECAP: (Shadow/Swift) An ability learned from Advancing Homing Vulcan. Dangan Man fires a dark crescent projectile that homes in on all nearby opponents, then returns to him.
Burning Fist: (Flame/Impact) Lulu uses her Fire magic to unleash a flaming punch, creating a wave of fire in front of her.
*Recap (Badnik Arc): An alternate future where the world was destroyed (or rather, deleted) by the Life Virus; I'm unsure in NintendoPanda's case, but otherwise the only confirmed escapee besides Dangan is Compass Man.

...you wanna know what I think about Beta Shadow?
I think he's a fine guy. Sure, I haven't met him in person, and I'd be surprised if I ever do. But if anything's been bad between us, it's probably been something where the blame falls on me being a jerk and not him.
I'm really glad he's made this thread. I can write stories with old DOS Mega Man characters, characters from all over a shooter series barely anyone here knows about, random Sonic characters - heck, even someone from one of the most confusing stories ever told in a video game - and because of what the Chaos Zone is, nobody judges me for it. Do you really think I can just go around saying "Dyna Man and Dark Elf meet Yoshi and Rika and they team up with Dr. Doppler" without getting weird looks? No, Beta Devil, I can't. Because it sounds weird as . Unless it's here.
Sure, anyone could've made a thread like this. At least one person has before. But Beta Shadow's also made some real fun stories that have inspired me too; he's got a Greek alphabet worth of other hims and they're all neat characters in their own right.
And honestly, there are times I can tell I screwed with what he wanted, and I feel bad for that. I wasn't trying to ruin the Gemini TV Tournament, because it seemed like a good chance for an actual tournament to start and end - that's happened, what, twice before? - and I'm sorry I ruined it with the whole ordeal with Rumia. And I'm sorry about when Libra got trigger-happy when Coda first showed up.
You know, I usually prefer having Dyna Man - maybe Libra - say these kinds of things for me. But frankly? What Dyna'd say would be a caricature of the worst things I could say. I want to tell this to him honestly. So just a couple pages after I wanted to stop with the meta antics like Team Mecha knocking me out, here I am to give you the truth. You're a cool guy, Beta Shadow.

Angel Island - Altar of the Emeralds

The two "wandering" teams, bringing Dual Lamia and Alice with them*, have grouped up with Saktira CC at the entrance to Chaos Angel Zone...
...whatever those time-displaced entities were, this must be their source.
Saktira steps forward, almost touching the edge of the aura surrounding the zone.
...I'm pretty sure I've been in this thing before. I don't know when, but I was. If I'm not dead from it, we're going in.
Saktira charges straight into the "bubble".
Y'know what? It's crazy, but it's the best chance we've got at getting to the bottom of this.
The rest of the team (and Dual Lamia) follow with varying levels of reluctance...
Chaos Angel Zone (◧∀ȡ ♇∀≋↔)

The zone is in significant disarray, rubble and flames everywhere, and the whole enviroment coated in a strange, purple-blue tint. Just as Chico meekly prepares the group with a Guardian of the Temple...

A dark creature swoops down from above, with three beaks on different ends, all stitched shut, kept aloft by a pair of harp-like wings!

(Event Battle Theme) ♫ Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX - Destiny's Force ♫
Demyx begins sweating as the group shifts into a battle stance.
Silent Siren | HP: 100%
Guardian of the Temple: (Recovery/Weapons) Chico uses her magic to heal herself and allies to full health, and temporarily double the power of a single attack type.
*I know it goes without saying by now, but if willing, this includes Choice Man, Dragon, and perhaps the Clock Men (and whoever they were with). It's up to HighTower and NintendoPanda, though (speaking of which, clarification would be helpful).

Chico's Sanctuary

Metal Sonic, Nohoho, Chico, Konngara, and Crescendo (and if HighTower agrees, Dragon) have taken Dual Lamia to the sanctuary for interrogation, encasing her in a special Gaia Cube for safety.
...an' even if you were in Lyla's Ruins back when Schezo first showed up*, I know lotsa folks who ain't nearly as violent now as they were then.
And regardless, you've shown you're more than a wild animal. Which means you can explain when you started remembering all this without being cryptic about it.
Spoilsports. It's not like I know that much myself, it just kinda came to me in a flash while I was wandering the ruins. Literally, even.
Metal sits in a corner, pondering to himself...
...there were sparks flying all over those ruins...purple creatures with extending arms and shapes like the "Scuttlest" viruses†...an amorphous star-shaped creature with a white color...
From what little I've heard of them‡, they sound almost like...
Gensokyo - Forest of Magic

Dual Alice has conjured up a table for Chaos, Reverse Man, Demyx, Express Man, and Silver Sonic II (and if they're not busy, Choice Man and the present Dimensions) to discuss their situation.
I have a hard time believing you grew up in Makai if you just remembered any of your upbringing.
I'm just as confused as you are. I've talked with residents of Makai, and nobody seems to recall me being there.
I wasn't human back then, but I was human back then, but I wasn't, but§...
Alice begins clutching her head as she begins whispering the statements back and forth to herself.
Both parties receive a message from Saktira CC...as well as coordinates to Chaos Angel Zone.
*Reference: Madou Monogatari II - The game is the first time many of the Madou/Puyo characters are shown interacting with Schezo; while earlier interactions exist in the prequel game Madou Monogatari ARS, Nohoho isn't present in it.
†Reference: Mega Man Battle Network series
‡Metal Sonic was heavily damaged by the time the Life Virus (formerly Lanky Kong) transformed into Trio.EXE, and was not present for any major plot developments involving Grey Matter.
§Reference: Touhou Project - The PC-98 Mystic Square implies (a young-looking) Alice isn't human through her specifically referring to Reimu as a human, though her backstory in the Windows games says she only recently became a magician as a species, having formerly been human.

As Mighty summons the Pointans, Rika turns to him, confused.
Wait, what was what? I didn't see anything.

...maybe "Eclipse Drive"?

"Avoid catching Libra's attention". You really thought you could get under my radar?
Truthfully, given the relative lack of vitriol between Reapers as of late, yes. That said, even before our little run-in with the lost soul, we were taking precautions to follow your precious house rules.
*whirr*
Regulus was threatening all of reality; conflict becomes unacceptable when it reaches such levels. You're no different.
Perhaps Central Highway and the "time bubble" were pushing it. But surely you, Libra, of all people, could notice that every other location we directly aimed for was introduced into the story by Brash Buster. You can't say we breached Rule 4 in any of those cases, unless you count the inactive Beck and Justice Man at Sky High.
And our goals, Libra, have been out of your range from the start.
We don't want our own form of destruction. If we did, we'd have pulled out the Eclipse Cannon V2 sooner, and outright left when Regulus was dawning on us.
What we want is conquest. This world - the Chaos Zone - it's perfectly crafted for people to live their wildest fantasies without a care. To attack with however much force they please, even if it exceeds Rayo's number. Such a world may be hard to control, but it's perfect for us to do whatever we want, for however long we want.
...I see no reason why I should accept this behavior.
When the time actually comes? Perhaps not. But thanks to the ghoul, all that remains of our "efforts" predates Vaati's onslaught. Dual Lamia and the Krystaless may be defeated, but the story's rewritten itself just fine, as if it happened naturally.
Presently, our conflict is no worse than the status quo. And a world without conflict is one doomed to the Void, isn't it?
...
Libra vanishes.

WITH NOTHING BUT A THOUGHT, THE NOTE BURNS UP IN MECHA SONIC'S HAND. HOWEVER, TO AVOID CATCHING LIBRA'S ATTENTION, MOST ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS OF OUR PREVIOUS POST ARE UNDONE AS WELL - SAVE FOR DUAL LAMIA AND KRYSTALESS, WHO WILL REMAIN DEFEATED (THOUGH WE WILL SPARE LAMIA SINCE WE HAVE NO REASON TO LEAVE HER DEAD), AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL ATTACKS ACCOMPANYING THEM.
If this is indeed not the story's climax, we will fall back for the time being. And if you insist, we will relent slightly even when the time comes. But consider this mishap a warning.
_

Ugh...I think I just wrecked my sleep schedule agai-

...what did I do this time?
Uh...actually, nothing.
It's actually kinda more like someone else did something. Dunno how, but they're gone now.
Anyway, we're gonna go back in there. Get the feeling training since the start of the year's gonna pay off sooner!
Dyna, Diddy and I head back into the Chaos Zone. If someone can't see the 4th Wall, they didn't see this.
...is it weird when I say that when you two can hear me?
.
A little.

♫ (CONTINUE NARRATIVE) ♫
Your food, you say?

AS RIKA PREPARES HER EVIL EYE SIGMA IN RETALIATION, DEVIL ELFS AND METAL DEVILS APPEAR BEHIND THE BETA DEVILS, MOWING THROUGH THEM AND WHATEVER RIKA OR MIGHTY IS PREPARING.
_
Beta Devil, we've said it before. The HEX Adaptor incident was a fluke.

DAROACH'S AIRSHIP BEGINS TO FIZZLE OUT OF EXISTENCE. THE FIGHTING MECHA TEAM AND SQUEAKS BEGIN TO PLUMMET TO THE GROUND.
_
And we've continued to learn from everyone else who's plagued this world as we have. Our ideals match the best parts of each of theirs.

THE KRYSTALESS STANDS MOTIONLESS AS A BARRAGE OF SHARP GEMS EMERGE FROM THE GROUND, SKEWERING ALL LIFE IN THEIR PATHS.
_
Worship and Hades Quartet did everything they could to stop interference.

THE LIFE DRAINS FROM DUAL LAMIA'S EYES AS THE RUINS BEGIN TO CRUMBLE, SENDING THOSE IN THE VICINITY DOWN INTO THE ABYSS WITH THEM.
_
Grey Matter - I'd say Dark Elf as well if she didn't butter up so much - wanted not oblivion, but conquest.

DISEMBODIED MECHANICAL HANDS GRAB EVERYONE AT CENTRAL HIGHWAY SAVE OMEGA ELEMENT, HOLDING THEM UP IN THE AIR AND STRANGLING THEM.
_
You, Trio.EXE, Regulus, and most of all MKII, have all done everything in your power to keep yourselves alive regardless of what anyone says. Of course, only you and MKII have succeeded at that, but that's besides the point.

THE AURA OF ENERGY AROUND CHAOS ANGEL ZONE EXPANDS RAPIDLY, ENVELOPING THE ENTIRE ISLAND, AND MORE AND MORE OF WHAT SURROUNDS IT.
_
THE PLANET CONTINUES TO BE ENVELOPED IN THE UNSTABLE TIME ENERGY. ENERGY EMERGING FROM CHANGING TIME NOT MOVING FORWARD, BUT BACKWARD, CREATING A BAD PAST FOR US, TEAM MECHA, TO TAKE REFUGE IN.
We have been preparing this whole time to win against you, and take this endless feast of anarchy you call the "Chaos Zone" for ourselves. Even Grey Matter failed to realize just how much potential there is for people like us to keep ahold of this world, and torment all who dwell within it for all eternity.

And don't let the username fool you*.

_
We're the only ones left at the keyboard.
*To clarify for our future playthings; a "Recap", as Dyna Man's fanboy put it: Folks such as Beta Devil, Missingno, and MKII have often given their own names to the accounts - or alternate accounts - of their Reapers to show that they're in control. Some of these remnants may be around whenever you are reading this, but others only remain as memories, or notes in the Reaper's profile.

Sky High Zone
Yeah, I probably should have responded to this subplot sooner

Ouh. (Y'know what, we might wanna save that conversation for later...do you live here?)
Gensokyo - Rika's Base

Finished with recreating the device Mighty entered with, Rika turns to him.
Hey, uh, I couldn't figure out that thing you talked about with the four walls...more importantly, what's this device's purpose?
Gensokyo - Forest of Magic

The Krystaless appears over the distracted Choice Man and Clock Men, recovering some Energy before spitting them out!
!
Chaos retaliates against the monster with a Chaos Double Stab!
Krystaless | HP: 35%
Lyla's Ruins

Dual Lamia charges at Nohoho, nearly lashing him with a Tongue Whip, which he protects himself from just in time with a Lucky Leaf!
Dual Lamia | HP: 41% | ATK: +1 | OTHER: Attack Damage x8 (1 attack left)
Chaos Double Stab RECAP: (Water/Swift) Chaos plunges his arms into the ground, making two watery tentacles emerge and flail around.
Lucky Leaf: (Nature/Shield) Nohoho protects himself or an ally with a large leaf.
