The door opens once more, albeit more slowly. A sulken figure enters and sits near a pre-prepared chair, seemingly focused on the dying man.

Glowing a warm red, Mount kicks Meta into the air before firing a large sword beam forwards. As the two collide, a massive explosion overtakes the silence of the void. Mount prepares a second Flare when he notices the smoke has yet to clear or even move. Seemingly taken on life, the smoke acts like a large tumbleweed and barrels towards Mount, leaving ice crystals in the wind. Shaking his head, Mount casts Windra Blade onto Flare before having said blade move in a circular fashion, sending forth a cone-shaped wave of scolding wind.
The two winds smash into each other when suddenly Meta breaks through the smoke, Drill Diving his way into Mount. Caught off guard, Meta gets a number of quick jabs before finishing off with three Icicle Spears striking Mount’s left side.
Ha! You're nothing!
Sliding back, Mount plucks the icicles from his body and jabs it towards Meta. Expecting him to move to the right, a one-handed broadsword blocks a halberd strike, allowing Mount to strike him once more with the iceclad spikes, this time hitting Meta.
*grunt*...You know, if it wasn't for your mouth, I’d consider you a worthy rival.
On the top of the halberd, a hatch opens up and sprays out a burst of water onto Mount’s blade arm, freezing the two together.
What the-
At least you’re blade will serve as a fine weapon for some of my… less experienced troops.
As Mount tries to back away, Meta’s eyes flash a vibrant purple before exploding into a ball of ice, freezing Mount to the ground. Too late he realizes Meta’s ploy as suddenly the real Meta appears using his Dimensional Cape and in a frightening heavy strike cleaves Mount’s frozen arm from his body, forcing a bloodcurdling scream to escape the frog knight's lips.
Didn’t see me fly out from behind, did you?
With his one free arm, Mount musters all his strength into firing a Fira directly into Meta’s face, but nothing but smoke comes out from his palm.
(Out of MP…darn it.)
Like I said, you’re *cough* not worth my time.
Pulling out a white flare, he sets it beside the broadsword and in an instant, a mirror appears, taking both the blade and the arm with it.
So that’s how you do it...
Without saying a word, Meta turns to fight his intended target, a thick mist expels from his cape.
You’re... just gonna leave me behind and not take me out like a true warrior!?
I only kill worthy combatants, not cripples.

The mist enters his mouth, freezing him solid from the inside-out. Chuckling to himself, Meta pulls out a green bottle and drinks it, relieving him of the poison. Holding out another flare, this time spewing out a brown smoke, he throws it in the air and in a flash a tent comes out of the newly created mirror. As the tent falls onto his position, he fails to spot a blue aura gazing towards them from afar, nor a flashing light coming from Mount’s frozen corpse.

Okay, so where to *yawn* begin...
Before your presidency, a number of disasters ended up occurring. Among these were robot scares, dead men risen from the ground, a bunch of red robot clones rampaged everywhere, robots threatening to overtake the high class. Worse of these incidents were...*shudders* Regulus. When you were elected, a number of citizens had hoped that such tragedies would end and for a time...it seemed so. That is...until the Red Glare disaster.

Now, I'm not one to point fingers expect to greet my buddies on the dance floor, but there were reports that the one behind this disaster looked an awful lot like someone you've supposedly talked to.

Checking that his axe was still intact, Meta Brigand hits a lever near the end, extending the hilt and causing a large spike to appear at the head of the axe, turning it into a halberd. Taking a breath, he walks forth, dragging the axe on the ground to try to scare his opponent. However, he seems to be using this time to start casting a variety of spells. Realizing what's to happen, he books it towards Mount, crystals glittering in the wind behind him.
Poison Blade!
A thick substance overtakes Mount’s broadsword. Wielding it with two hands, he runs forth, matching Brigand’s speed. With a resounding clash, sword and axe collide with one another, sparks flying out. With neither side seemingly able to overpower the other, both back up before trying again, only to result in the same thing once more. Frustrated, Brigand slides under the broadsword and headbutts him. Taking a step back, Mount tries to deliver a haymaker but Brigand uses his cape to disappear only to quickly reappear to drive the spike of the halberd into Mount's back.
HGhh!
Is this all you have to offer? A punch that wouldn't even hurt a wounded Grizzo?
Spinning around, he swings the venomous blade in a sidesway arc, slashing the puffball's mask. A corrosive gel gets into the cracks and makes Meta queasy. Mount tries to deliver a second strike, but once again he disappears through his cape before instantly reappearing and deals a hefty blow to the same spot on Mount's back as before. Mount's face distorts in pain, unable to deliver a retaliatory strike.
(I can't keep up with him repeatedly teleporting like this.)
Rolling away, he prepares to fire a sword beam at Meta but he's nowhere to be seen.

Opening his inventory and equipping a shield on his back, Mount looks around for any disturbance.
...(I just need to lure him out.)
Come on Brigand! This is what I'm talking about! Sure you can hide in your little cape longer than Meta Knight, but that's because he didn't need to resort to such cow-
Mount side steps, narrowly dodging an overhead slash by a reappearing Brigand. Not letting him perform the same stunt again, he stomps on his cape, tripping and pinning Meta to the ground.

Bringing down the axe, Mount easily sidesteps it and throws his own shield high in the air before grabbing the rim of his opponent's shield. Tugging it down, he manages to cast Fira from his blade directly into Brigand's face. Not even flinching from the heat, he swings his axe sideways, burring it into Mount's arm.
Gah!
Yanking his arm away, he notes that ice crystals have grown within the wound, sealing it up but leaving it harder to heal.
Soulfrost...

Deflecting another axe strike, Mount is shield bashed, leaving him wide open. However, Brigand would never get the opportunity to take advantage as a turtle-shell shield crashes into him from above. Grabbing his cape, he disappears as Mount tackles his location.
Stand still you coward!
On instinct, Mount rolls out of the way as a flurry of swings assaults his former location.
COWARD?! Do you not know who I am!
But of course. You're the second copy of a powerful knight. You were first defeated by him and three others. It was a fairly long battle but in the end they emerged victorious. Later on, you were defeated again, this time in a single hit not by him, but by his rival, Kirby.

Since then you found a magic mirror that allows you to fight whatever you wish so you can get strong enough to take on the legendary Meta Knight-
To speak my father's name as if he wasn't an lazy soft fool and to speak as if I was a failure...how dare you!
And how dare you claim him as your father. I know your feats and to say you're not even close to matching is well...an understatement.
Interrupting Mount with a war cry, Meta Brigand jumps in the air, letting dark red wings loose. Mount by this point has pulled out a bow and starts firing crystal arrow after arrow. As the first one strikes his shield, he dives downwards with eyes filled with bloodlust. Not letting up, Mount runs backwards as Brigand's shield starts to look like a used dartboard.
With Brigand closing the gap faster than Mount expected, Mount dequips the bow and holds his palm out, firing a weak ball of magic. As expected, Meta deflects the shot, not paying attention as the arrows hit start to glow a vibrant red. Mount then quickly casts Barrier on himself just in time for it to shatter upon Brigand's first strike.
You're mine! ...What?
The aforementioned glowing arrows emit an almost supernova-like light, finally drawing Brigand's attention away from Mount, who much to his horror was unable to cast Reflect in time.
Crud-
...
The force of a nuke detonates the shield, causing Meta Brigand and Mount to fly through the air, flesh and metal borderline melting from the heat.
As Brigand shakes himself awake, he finds the remains of his shield scattered on the ground and in his arm. Forcing himself to rise regardless of the pain, he effortlessly plucks the shards out before spotting Mount far away, doing the same. A green aura can be spotted around him.
Hmph. Not bad!

Another scream overtakes the thief's as a motobike barrels through the abandoned town, driving off of rooftops and having the rider do sick tricks before resuming his screaming plight. Finally out of roofs to jump, the bike drives straight into Grillby's, hitting a bundle of drinkable Molotov cocktails and flaming hot ketchup.
What follows next can be self-explanatory, but needless to say, let's cut to the part where C.Lancer is stuck upside down in the Snowdin Inn, trying not to vomit.

Pushing a button, a corrupted entity screams as a mirror appears before Meta Brigand. Smiling under the mask, he steps forth armed with a shield made of dark crystals and an axe of the same material into the reflection.

Looking around, Meta Brigand throws the axe up in the air before calling out.

A mist greener than a forest starts to rise from the ground.

PMB starts to spin around faster and faster, causing the very wind itself to curl around him. The mist at first seems unaffected but suddenly is pushed back, forming a large circle clearing.

Frost starts to form on the ground, negating the traction of the thick floor and thus accelerating his spin even more. High in the sky, a figure smirks before diving downwards through the mist upwards into the tornado. Right as the knight enters it, he slashes where Parallel Meta Brigand was...only to find air.

The tornado suddenly implodes on itself, leaving a frozen frog. Meta Brigand reappears through his cape, sneering.
