Pac-Village - Golden Fruit Tree*

Yoshi, Fang, Gilgamesh, Rumia, and Daiyousei surround the tree, in hopes of protecting something else...
Hrn. (And you're sure this won't be as much of a time waster as the mushrooms?)
Look, "Golden Fruit" doesn't narrow it down at all, but he said it like a proper noun and this is my best guess. Unless you'd rather find a dead phoenix.

Crystal Tower - Seventh Floor

...I mean, killing doesn't really do it for me. The action's kinda fun, though, that's been a fun change of pace.
It's funny, I closed my grimoire because I thought it'd be boring to use it so much*...but it's been quite entertaining.
Well, there you have it.
Balanced Libra rises back up into the air.
Even if it's not your "true" past, so to speak, these experiences you've remembered have given you a new outlook on your lives.
If you've decided learning from your "old" pasts will suit you best moving forward, do as you please.
I don't know how much I've helped - it's been over a year since the last time I even attempted to live a life anyone would call "normal"* - but I did what I could. If you don't find some peace-
On the contrary; this was rather eye-opening. It's been a joy seeing you again, Libra.
...
Dual Alice and Dual Lamia head back to where they came, Dual Alice giving a wave and Dual Lamia giving a thumbs up.
Doppler Labs - Bedroom

Sonic Man stands in front of Dyna and Volt, looking almost good as new.
...Unfortunately, my Supercharge couldn't be restored, as that power had to be redirected to assisting emergency frequency-
Volt Man interrupts Sonic Man with a tight hug.
...Sonic Man, I'm just glad to see you okay!!
Volt Man's hug begins to loosen as he comes to a realization, and he steps back.
...Sonic Man, I'm...I'm sorry about what happened at Joyous Tower. We should've had your back.
No, I'm sorry. I never realize how much you two matter to me until you've already got plates jammed in you or a hole in your chest, and-
No, I'm sorry.

I didn't think to stick alongside you. And even long before that, I didn't think to bring myself or anyone else to assist Volt Man so Team Mecha wouldn't have caught him. And...well...
*sigh* I don't want to blame either of you for anything. But if you blame yourselves, then I think I've begun to realize something.
This might be a strange subject to change to, but I feel we can be more helpful to each other than we realize.
I've reprimanded Dyna before for his impulsiveness, but truthfully, I feel as much as he relies on his instincts, I rely almost completely on deeper strategy. And Volt, you don't especially emphasize either.
I want to help us keep a proper plan, but I need to stop seeing your gut instincts or your balance of both as intrusive.
Maybe we're not a perfect family. But if we can find a common ground - or rather, turn our differences into such ground - we'll be able to take that next step.

The three DOSBots hug each other tightly.
*The reason why Alice doesn't use her grimoire in the post-Touhou 5 continuity (her decision to re-open it was part of the initial anomaly that turned her into Dual Alice).
†Reference: Libra's short time in the first run of Robot Master Mystery Dungeon; to date, the one time this Libra has done anything outside of Chaos Zone.

Crystal Tower - Seventh Floor

Alice and Lamia are both left speechless, sitting on the gemstone floor baffled.
A person's past...just left behind to become something else? Who would do such a thing?!
...
Libra gently lowers himself to Alice and Lamia's level.
...sometimes stories change in a way that nobody can truly grasp or control. Not even most Reapers.
One day, someone out there simply decided they wanted your story to be a little different. Whether we know who they were or not, we can't stop them the same way we stop the likes of Beta Devil, Team Mecha, and the such...and whether we need to is itself a struggle to answer.
...while I can't say for sure, I suspect you aren't fully alone in this dilemma. Others may even have faced the same effects on their past elsewhere*.
...
...I suppose there is one thing I could ask, however.
With what you know, even as a sweet tooth or a former human, with memories of a vicious serpent or a child of Makai...
...regardless of how your knowledge came to you, what do you wish to be?
...
Earth - Specific Location Unknown

Orange sits with her head buried in her arms as Sese checks some holes Orange dug in an empty field.
Find anything?
...not any bones, no...
Ugh...fine, I know maybe three more places to look then-
Wait, Sese did find something!
Last you said, we were looking for bones, so I dunno what else-
Sese suddenly tosses a Topaz Hairpin to Orange, the youkai startledly scrambling to catch it.
Found it just kind of lying there. It doesn't seem like Sese could use it, but maybe you can?
...I mean, that's great and all, but it doesn't-
You don't want it?
No, no, I do, I just...
Orange stuffs the hairpin under her hat as she stands up.
...did we really need it if it wasn't what you needed?
Hey, you've been helping Sese for a while; I just figured if I could help you too I would!
...
...thanks. C'mon, let's go find those other spots I was talking about.
Orange and Sese fly off, Sese closer to Orange's trail.
Topaz Hairpin†: (Electric) An item; a hair accessory with a golden yellow gemstone that raises the power of Electric-type abilities.
*I'm not trying to imply Missingno. went through exactly the same thing as Dual Lamia/Alice/Lucas; simply that his history in the context of MMRPG is loosely comparable (and if not even that, then my bad).

Crystal Tower - Seventh Floor

(Character Theme) ♫ Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX - Organization XIII ♫
It began with the World Rings. Seven rings representing seven emotions.
Tales of their creation aside, it was simple enough at first...until Team Mecha, eyes in the sky that they were, learned that similar emotional power was wielded by seven maidens. Now, the maidens themselves are a whole different struggle...
...but the point is, Team Mecha realized that if such Emotional Power could be wielded without the World Rings, they could find the energy of more well-known artifacts stored within others that were lesser-known.
In your cases, what matters is the Time Energy within the Time Stones was shared by the Five Magic Stones. Even with the Time Stones last seen in the care of another, the trio simply captured the Five Magic Stones to achieve the same results.
And what they did with it - something you barely saw - was control a fixed area, and hide backwards in time. It wasn't just any past, but a "Bad Past", corrupted like a dystopian future...except the present and everything after it was intact.
...where does this leave us?
...well, what Team Mecha did to hide lacks logic by the majority of rules involving time control. Which meant there were side-effects. The dark monster that appeared before you just as you entered Chaos Angel was just one of many. And so were you.
You see, cryptic as they were, the Five Magic Stones didn't lie. There was a time where your newly-remembered origins - Lamia, your time in Lyla's Ruins, and Alice, your upbringing in Makai - were how the timeline flowed.
But the timeline isn't as concrete as it'd seem, and it changed on a whim. The past changed, and now you two were the people you always remembered you were.
Ultimately, the pasts you remember now - those that contradict the rest of your lives - were true before, if one sees the timeline's change as, itself, a greater timeline. But reality itself changed your hisories, and what you now "remember" is no more than a remnant brought back by misuse of time.
*Simpler explanation: Alice and Lamia both had pasts that were retconned, and Team Mecha screwing with time made them remember what it was like before the retcon. Same goes for (Dual) Lucas.

???

Dual Alice and Dual Lamia quietly step through halls of pure crystal, only the echoes of their footsteps and slithering trail filling the air, until...
*sigh* I should have expected this...
Are you a Master of the Crystal Tower? They are the only we seek, so if you are otherwise-
To be concise, yes. Usually these questions don't reach this point, but given the struggles with your pasts...
Wait, we didn't even get to that yet. How did you...?
...
...the Joyous Tower incident did happen faster than Team Mecha expected*. I suppose given my past, I do owe you two the explanation you never properly received.
*Recap (Thread 2, Beta Diablo Arc): The initial plan for Team Mecha in this arc was for them to make a pre-finale appearance in Chaos Angel Zone's Bad Past after the Silent Siren was defeated, explaining the whole "anomaly" thing (including Dual Lamia and Dual Alice). Since Beta Diablo made himself present just as the initial Silent Siren fight began, there had to be a change of plans (hence why the Silent Siren was pushed forward to Windaz' plotline). Put simply, the upcoming explanation was planned from the start, but had to be pushed to after Beta Diablo.

Bandanna Dee, King Dedede, and R.O.B. jump in, warding off the Dark Metas with a Megaton Drop, Ice Sprinkles, and Arranged Beams!
As Dee keeps holding off the Dark Metas from a distance using Saintly Beams, Dedede and R.O.B. continue the combo against Dark Galacta with an Arctic Blizzard and a Guided Robo Beam!
Meta Knight, meanwhile, dodges the Dark Great Space-Time Killing Laser and prepares everyone with a Valiant Guard...
Megaton Drop: (Earth/Explode) Bandanna Dee thrusts his spear into the ground with the strength of a light Megaton Punch, redirecting the disrupted ground to various angles surrounding him for a shorter-ranged, but denser strike.
Megaton Punch: (Impact/Earth) The user punches the ground with up to 201 megatons of force, creating a large crack in the ground (visible from out of most planets' atmospheres starting at about 160 Mt.*) and sending debris flying.
Ice Sprinkle: (Freeze/Swift) Using Ice magic, King Dedede spins around rapidly, creating a ring of ice that deals heavy damage. Can only be used in the air.
Arranged Beam: (Hope/Laser) R.O.B. surrounds himself in pillars of Hope magic, which circle him for a few seconds before flying outwards at high speeds.
Arctic Blizzard: (Freeze) King Dedede uses his Ice magic to summon a swarm of frigid energy that surrounds the opponent, briefly encases them in ice, then shatters the ice.
Guided Robo Beam: (Laser/Missile) R.O.B. strikes opponents with a barrage of small homing lasers before releasing a gigantic, continuous laser from his eyes, which erupts into an even bigger laser after a few seconds before dissipating.
Valiant Guard: (Hope/Shield) Meta Knight protects his allies (but not himself) with shields of Hope energy. Any attacks that would pierce the shields are redirected to Meta Knight himself.
*Reference: Kirby Super Star, Megaton Punch sub-game - I don't have exact stats on hand for if the player can achieve a more specific landmark, but the minimum amount of force shown by the CPU to create a crack in the planet visible from space (Bandanna Dee's punch on Level 2) is 160 Mt.

Fenoc

An almost heavenly aura envelops Scale, Walter, and the swordfighter as another masked swordsman steps forward.
I remember a time when my skills were honed enough that I believed strength gave my life meaning. Perhaps you would have still been sealed away had I not wanted more*.
Even at the Access Ark, I admit along my interest in giving Kirby some peace* came more of a desire to fight.
But that was a poor mindset. One that turned me into a foolish mentor*, and even growing out of it, has cost not just thousands of lives I may have shared, but countless others.
Meta Knight's sword blazes with glowing Hope energy.
I don't care what it will take to disprove your claims of strength. One-on-one, or with my allies by my side...
...or would neither be enough? Would you simply see more proof in that fighting by myself would draw attention to me? Would you just shrug off a greater team as "my friends being my power"?
Understand that if you'll only let anything I do fall on deaf ears, nobody will hold anything back for the sake of those you slaughtered, whether we knew them or not.
Ancient Cure: (Hope/Recovery) R.O.B. heals any allies by anywhere from 50% to 100% their max HP.
*References/Recap (in order): Super Smash Bros. Brawl (non-Subspace Emissary gameplay), Kirby Super Star Ultra (Meta Knightmare Ultra sub-game), Kirby Planet Robobot (Meta Knightmare Returns sub-game), Regulus/Grey Matter Arc (Rumia was trained under a more arrogant Meta Knight in the former arc, and nearly died at the hands of the late Kahtos in the latter)

The Halberd (above Earth) - Control Room

As a noise like a battle cry echoes through the Halberd and Daroach's Airship (hmm wow you're right it WAS easy), a red dot flickers on the ship's radar, a buzzing noise filling the room as well.
ROB *bwwwp* (A Galactic-level* warning...)
...I recognize that voice anywhere. It's exactly what I was afraid of, but it's exactly who we're looking for.
Meta Knight sets the Halberd to max speed, the ship locked on to Planet Fenoc!
*(This actually isn't meant to be a pun on the fact that it's Galacta Knight they're dealing with; it's a generic warning of scale that just so happens to match this context)

Dinosaur Land - Yoshi's Island 1

Hmmh. (You got that one next to the clouds*, right?)
One sec.
Fang Tail Bounces up to a Question Mark block, and as a 3-Up Moon begins to emerge from it, he shoves it back in.
Good to go, Yo'ster.
Hup? (What exactly is this meant to accomplish, again?)
We just gotta look out for two kids, one of 'em lookin' like a weird bug. I dunno why they need mushrooms specifically, but whatever, it's gonna make things harder for King.
Hrm. (...King hired two children?)
As if doing a double-take at his own question, Yoshi turns to see his house in the distance, where Rumia and Daiyousei and resting alongside Gilgamesh†.
Hmph. (On second thought, I need to stop asking these questions.)
3-Up Moon: An item that, upon consumption, allows the user to self-revive up to three times.
*Reference: An actual location a 1-Up Mushroom is located in Super Mario World.
I know the phrasing makes it sound like Gilgamesh is a child when he isn't, I just didn't know how else to clarify he was there too at the moment.

So you're sure this is a good idea? 'Cause I'm having second thoughts.
Maybe have a third, or a fourth. Because we have questions, and Tinker Knight says this is where the answers lie.
...pretty sure the fourth would just be the second again, 'cause it was a yes/no-
Concentrating hard with her grimoire in front of her, Dual Alice slowly summons a portal, light shining off it like a mirror...or a crystal.

Hey, Orange, look! Twenty of them! I don't even think I've seen all of these before, but I know they're mine!
Mm.
...do you want us to keep looking? Sese can do it themselves for a bit if you need to-
No. We're both gonna find you another good spot.
Orange breezes off, still leading Sese, but slowing significantly.
(With just a few of those spirits...that's gotta be what they look like with more bones, isn't it?)
(That wasn't even from how many bones they needed, and they still did...that to the weird guy at the maze?)
(If they ever look like that with their own bones, they'll probably be really really strong. Like Gilgamesh or Meta Knight or something.)
(And then they won't need me anymore, because they won't need any help fighting.)
(So much for actually mattering to someone...)
Doppler Labs - Bedroom

Volt Man quietly opens the room's door, Dyna still sulking on the edge of one of the metal beds.
...Dyna?
You were wrong, Volt. We haven't been taking each other for granted. It's only been me.
...what do you mean? You've helped us before. I didn't do anything to help Sonic Man, either.
Volt, think back on things. On everything.
All I've ever told myself or others is "let's go fight that thing, let's go fight this thing, let's go solve this new problem"...ever think about how I never did anything about anything until it bit me in the ass?
For a whole year, I've been doing nothing but living one big dumb power fantasy. I've never leaped into an incident for anything but a fight.
I'm a selfish asshole. I don't deserve the Crew, I don't deserve you or Sonic Man...I didn't deserve this life.
A second pair of footsteps can be heard down the hall.
Dyna? Volt?

Angel Island - Launch Base Zone Remains*

(Area Theme) ♫ Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Launch Base Zone (Remix) ♫
Still holding a screaming Shadow Digital (who has the Alt. Future Post in hand), Metal Sonic slows to a halt as he reaches the ground.
Here we are. You can stop screaming now.
Shadow Digital smacks Metal's hand off his wrist.
I COULD'VE TELEPORTED!
Get over it. Look.
An unusual rift† covers the ground in the center of a giant, charred crater - the very spot the Death Egg launched years ago.
...wait, why'd they choose to enter from here?
It's where our Death Egg crashed. You can put together the rest.
See, funny thing about that...
Shadow Digital casually dunks the Alt. Future Post through the rift, ensuring that we don't have to deal with any more Anti-Omni nonsense that I never wanted to happen in the first place.
...why'd they just leave it behind? I don't see why your Sonic wouldn't have just pulled an SMBZ‡ and came here to patch things up. Even if he died or whatever it's not like there wasn't anyone else to-
Digital, they sent me a million years into the past§, and every time they got close to any of you they crumpled like paper. Even if I trusted them to have that kind of foresight, I wouldn't know. It probably can't even send things to this Universe anymore, just the other way around-
...then how do we get rid of it?
...
*I neglected this plotline for like 29 pages and now someone new's here so here's a link to the last time I was on this plotline; Thread 2, Page 150, Post #12
†No, this one is not a Memehole (also that was my mistake thinking Beta Shadow was the one bringing Memeholes into the plot; I was unaware NintendoPanda had made a post about them prior).
‡Reference: Super Mario Bros. Z - Referring to how the Sonic cast's involvement in the series (both in the original and the reboot) stemmed from a powered up Metal Sonic (Turbo Mecha Sonic in the original, Metallix in the reboot) going on a rampage and Sonic and Shadow trying to stop him in Mario's world.
§Recap (Dead Zone Arc) - Metal Sonic made his debut 1,000,000 years in the RP's past (at the time, which would make it about 1,000,001 years now, but that doesn't matter), and it was never explained why he was there. So here's an explanation.

Gensokyo - Youkai Mountain

As Rika sits at a table, carefully using various small tools to put the finishing touches on a small card, Takane walks up to her, carrying a heavy box with a strap on it.
Gotta say, Rika, I'm impressed! Just weeks ago demand for the Ice Fairy cards was through the roof, but the replicas are blendin' into the market just fine, and the - what'd you call 'em, scalpers? They can't keep up!
Still work bein' done on actually trackin' down the scalpers, but this is workin' great so far!
Mhm. Yeah. Sounds neat, whatever it-
Heyy, that's one of the customs we were talking about, ain't it? How's it work?
Oh, uh... gimme a sec. And stand back.
Rika equips the card, focuses, and is sent flying in zigzags until she crashes into a nearby tree.
...well, it works.
Holy smokes! Where'd you even find someone who does a thing like that?!
Just someone I had records on*. Never really talked with them, haven't seem them for a good few decades...
) Fantastic! If we can get these made fast n' good, we can probably work out something with the kappa, and business is gonna be a whole card bigger!
Rika struggles to hold back a heavy groan.
Right, of course. The kappa.
Ability Card: An item created from an unusual source, containing magical powers, often of those living in Gensokyo. Four types exist: Item (provides an immediate effect, but can't be stored), Equipment (Provides an additional element of power, such as extra projectiles or a passive "helper"), Passive (boosts effects tied to the user's own stats or Skills), and Active (Is activated remotely, and allows use of a new Ability).
Replica Ability Card: An Ability Card recreated using advanced technology. Not too different from "real" Ability Cards aside from their origins.

Samurai Weave: (Cutter/Laser) One of Meira's* abilities. Lets the user swing their weapon, veering 90 degrees in any direction after a certain distance, for up to 4 swings. Each swing leaves behind a trail of energy that scatters in the form of energy bullets. Available as an Active Replica Ability Card.
*Reference: Touhou 2 - The stage 2 boss; hasn't appeared in Chaos Zone proper, but has been off-handedly mentioned by Rika at least once before.

(Event Theme) ♫ Kirby Super Star Ultra - Revenge of the King Ending Theme ♫
As R.O.B. scans the remains of Pop Star on the ship's radar, King Dedede can only gaze at the wall, his arms limp.
Bandanna Waddle Dee walks up to him, and while Meta Knight doesn't move from next to R.O.B., he does turn to face the king.
Bandanna Dee ...Dedede? Are you oka-
King Dedede What do ya think, Dee?
King Dedede I've been tryin' to keep things like dis from happenin' for decades. Ever since Nightmare tried gettin' his hands on da Star Rod. I was there for the Subspace Army, I was there for the Starcutter, I was there for Jambandra*...
King Dedede I look away for a few months, and we lose our home. It wasn't even like Grey Matter, whoever did it just waved their hand, and boom.
King Dedede At least you three learned 'bout dat Hope energy. All ah've been doin' is turnin' a blind eye to the last thing ah wanted to turn a blind eye to!
Dedede drops his hammer in frustration.
King Dedede I had no excuse to let it happen, and I did. I'm a failure.

...call me Windaz.
Well, I wish you good luck-
...actually, I don't know if I caught your name, either.
Quiet Forest

After several hours, Dark Elf bursts back out of the rift in the sky, jumping back an inch when she sees Lulu waiting on the ground just below it.
Was starting to get worried. You find anything in there?
*huff* It's almost nothing but piles of paraphernalia up there, and I don't recognize most of it.
That said, there was a bunker of some sort...
Dark Elf pulls out some broken metal fins, a stray Shark Boomerang, and a golden shield*...
And I wish I didn't have to interrupt him, but we'll need information from Doppler.
*Recap (Dead Zone Arc): It's been heavily implied after his death in Dimension ΛΞΖ's version of Mega Man X3's story, Dr. Doppler was revived in Dimension L. He made his debut there, where he helped rebuild Revolt Shark Man and remodel him into D-R Shark Man.

Given up yet?!
...please, whatever the hell you are, get away from me before you-
Suddenly, a burst of spirits expels from Sese's body returning to the spooks of the maze. Sese then returns to their smaller form.
...oh.
Zardy lets out a sigh, using his hoe to get back on his feet.
Look, stick-spinner, I don't know why you came here, I don't know why you brought this screwed-up bone creature with you, but at this point, I'm too tired to force anything anymore.
Just...please, leave.
Sese's expression suddenly brightens as they turn to Orange.
Sure thing. Sese found a couple of bones, that's all we needed.
C'mon, Orange, you know where to go next, right?
...oh, uh, sure.
Sese flies off ahead of Orange, the baton-twirling youkai hesitantly following after to lead the way.
Clockwork Tower

You're kidding me! Nothing?!
Demyx, I'm sorry! I know my records aren't as up to date, but I don't know if even Rika would be able to track this "Q-B" down!
It's like whatever you're talking about with these Gems and such is from a whole other world entirely...
Demyx briefly freezes at the final four words, then turns to a staircase to a lower floor.
...well, we drew a blank, but thanks for trying to help anyway. I guess...
As Demyx and Reverse Man walk down the tower, a different pair of figures climbs up.
...Hello, sir. Tinker Knight, was it?
Uh...yep.
Sorry to drop in on such short notice- No, really, it's fine. happens all the time....but a friend of mine and I need some help with something.
Hope you like weird stories.
Blitz Whip: (Electric/Swift) "Whips" of electric energy expand from the tips of Orange's baton as she twirls it, striking the target with a thin lightning bolt with each lash.
Marrow Cannon "Bone Buster": (Missile/Weapons, Shadow/Laser) A Spell Card where Sese fires a gigantic beam of energy, leaving behind a trail of scattering energy bubbles.
*I don't know why I feel like I need to clarify this should be geographically correct to Zardy's Maze, but I'm pretty sure it should be.
†Recap (Thread 2 Beta Diablo Arc, King(?) Arc): Dual Alice (Touhou) and Dual Lamia (Puyo Puyo/Madou Monogatari) have found themselves remembering two backstories that have applied to them (or in Lamia's case, a similar character) at different points in their home series. Why exactly this is the case is unclear besides a cryptic message from the Five Magic Stones (used by the late Team Mecha to tap into Time Stone-equivalent energy back when Beta Diablo was on the rise) on Thread 2, Page 150, Post #15.

Outside Evolve Fortress

We're far enough from the fortress right now. Only one thing left to do.
Windaz prepares a second Zephyr Testament to boost Turbo's stats further!
We'll take him on together.
Giving Turbo Man prep time for an attack of his own, Windaz strikes Hyenard with a Star Assembly!
Zardy's Maze

As Orange pulls back, now freed from the Pumpkin Crawlers, she tries to focus on landing more Spinning Batons on Zardy, but is startled by Sese's transformation...
Sese, meanwhile, pulls no punches, letting loose a series of Yorick Fastballs!
Star Assembly: (Crystal/Solar) Windaz summons jagged crystal fragments, which home in on a single target, assemble into a star shape, then glow brightly.
Yorick Fastball: (Shadow/Swift) Sese flings a skull at the opponent, dealing heavy damage. Even if the attack is blocked, it will deal light knockback.

The Inventory (Before the Ring Ring because sweet mercy that happened REALLY fast)

Realizing he isn't helping at the moment, Demyx starts to walk off.
Well, that was dumb of me.
Hey, we could still do something about it! We just need to ask someone who knows!
...y'know what, it's dumb, but I'll take dumb if it means something. Let's go see what that contract guy looks like.
Demyx and Reverse Man warp out of the Inventory.
Evolve Fortress - Lower Halls

Turbo and Windaz end up getting their answer faster than expected when they find themselves on the ceiling, Hyenard apparently shifting the gravity of all three rapidly!
Just as the two blaze out the exit (right-side up), a flaming wall erupts around them just outside the fortress, with Hyenard leaping out and flinging a Squeeze Bomb!
Zardy's Maze

Orange zips all around the maze, trying to flank Zardy with energy bullets, but barely getting any strikes in!
Kid, this is my maze for a reason!
Zardy unleashes a Pumpkin Army, and Orange finds herself being Weighed Down by Pumpkin Crawlers as Zardy lands a 6-hit Trapper's Frenzy on her!
Hey, let her go!
Zardy once again lingers at the sight of Sese, his tone changing significantly.
Look, I don't know who exactly you are I'm dealing with, but leave and only one uf us gets hurt. Not me, and not you.
...
ABSOOOOOOOOOOOOORB!!!
Sese unleashes a Spirit Absorb, filling themselves with the energy from the Pumpkin Crawlers and other nearby haunts!
...
Zardy takes a step back, seeing Sese taking on a larger-looking, much...bonier form.
Sese EX You heard what I said!
(Character Variant Battle Theme) ♫ Len'en 4 - Necromaster (Remix) ♫
Sese pelts Zardy from all directions with a Bone Burst!
Squeeze Bomb: (Space/Shadow) Gravity Antonion's signature weapon. Creates a shadowy vortex that expands as it travels, passing through any opponents. Upon contact with a hard surface, it pulsates one last time before vanishing.
Pumpkin Army: (Phantom/Level) Zardy summons up to 3 Pumpkin Crawlers to assist him.

Pumpkin Crawler: (Shadow/Grapple Body*) A small pumpkin creature that Weighs Down the opponent until defeated.

Trapper's Frenzy: (Shadow/Swift) The user swings their weapon back and forth, trapping the opponent in a string of at least 5 hits. Accuracy is halved starting with the sixth attack, and continues to halve itself until an attack misses.
Spirit Absorb: (Phantom/Recovery) Sese temporarily absorbs spirit energy from around them, with a boost in power and period of time depending on the energy absorbed. Can also be used to reclaim lost bones of theirs in the vicinity.

Sese's Skill: Reconstruction: Sese's power grows exponentially with each bone of theirs they recollect. The upper limit of this power is unknown, since as a Gashadokuro, they have several times the 206 bones of an adult human (or even the 270 of an infant human). The effect can also be recreated with a fraction of the overall power using Spirit Absorb.†

Bone Burst: (Shadow/Missile) Sese unleashes a barrage of homing bone projectiles at the target (mostly ribs).
*"Body" being used in place of "Core" since it wouldn't make sense for a non-mechanical creature to have a Core (at least, not a Core as defined in MMRPG).
†EDIT (1/13/2022): This info is outdated, as an interview with Len'en's creator from 2021 confirms that (unlike most gashasokuro) Sese's body is only made up of one skeleton. While a later remark saying "a couple of femurs" has been changed to "a femur" to accommodate, I am only posting the updated into of Reconstruction on this note, for the sake of archival.

...probably should've done this in the first place...
The tall figure takes off his hood. The smaller figure - wiping off some sea-salt ice cream from his mask - shrugs.
...uh, I think we're friends? I'm just here because he is. I think he heard what the other one said.
Yeah, I heard. Probably should've just drowned out the story with my drink, but as long as I know it...
I've only known one other guy who'd do something like that, and he's one of the worst people I've known. Got me roped up in a dumb scheme twice, said the first time I'd get it about as good as that contract would with her.
Look, I'm not one for action, I'm not one for big deals. But if you can tell me what that Q-whatever guy looks like, I'm gonna spend long as I can finding him so I can go Demyx Time on his-
Demyx's eyes briefly dart to Reverse Man.
...uh, butt.
