@Sheep Man
The pink robot turned their head to Sheep Man and shook their head.
"To be fair, the walls are incredibly thick, and there's always something hectic going on here. Once you live hear for a while you just naturally tune out all of the muffled noise coming from the other rooms.
The pink robot had little to say, and the green robots likely had little potential for conversation. They returned to talking amongst each other.
The Mettaur initially looked upon Sheep Man with intense distaste, but its grimace subsided once Sheep Man had stopped laughing. It clearly had been met with such reaction before, and was truly intrigued by the robot's question.
"Wow, that's a really weird icebreaker, but I guess it's a thinker too..." It took a moment to ponder, as if asked a hypothetical. "You know, the mansion has a lot of really good hiding places I could see someone being stowed away in. There's the attic above Floor 5, the fallout shelter below Floor 1, and you know, there's even a laboratory *inside* of the lake just outside of the garden. Of course, if I were trying to find a specific robot... I would go to Galva Man first! He creates all sorts of odd technology and likely has something that can be used to track a robot. You'd probably find him on Floor 4, but you'd have to find a way to get up there..."
@MIDI, L
Midi attempted to talk down the two foes down, and the Mousubeil actually took his advice! It scurried away and slipped between the cracks of a wall. Both Midi and L receive 17.25 Zenny from the altercation.
The Batton, however, was not pleased with MIDI's speech! It attempted to swoop in on MIDI, but L's Dash Kick interrupted it! The initial kick inflicted 35 damage, though the momentum it received sent it bouncing around the room like a pinball! It had received an additional 15 damage from the impact and crashed into one of the A
Qcardboard boxes in the room. Realizing its defeat, it harmlessly fluttered away, leaving 20.00 Zenny. It dropped a few items as well, leaving both L and MIDI a Cranberry Juice and a Garden Coin
Cranberry Juice- A thick, bitter beverage that has light restorative properties. Heals about 4-6HP.
Garden Coin- An inscribed novelty coin that can be traded for an item at the stand in the Garden.
After the battle, L gained 5 Attack and Midi gained 5 Charisma. Both gained 5 Thrifting!
What was left in the now empty room was about six cardboard boxes, all full with various items, mostly holiday decorations, knickknacks, and other largely useless items, though there is always the possibility of some useful treasure at the bottom of the boxes. Interestingly enough, next to the set of boxes was a hole just small enough to crawl through.
@Gyro Man
Cosmos Woman raised an eyebrow in response.
"Really? Let me take a look..." She looked down to that ominous purple sphere that sat upon her desk. Though it was depicting imagery of various planets, once she put her fingers on it and pantomimed a pinching motion, the image on the sphere changed. She focused on the dining room on the mansion and, unsurprisingly, the hole in the ceiling was present! Though the image was insanely fuzzy.
"Hmm... Well, I've never seen a hole in a ceiling like that, and I've been here for a while. You said that Adrian was kidnapped? It's so hard to believe, but weirder things have happened here. Adrian made himself a known figure in the world of robotics, and given that he has made some very controversial projects in his past, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if a competitor's robot kidnapped him... Though again, this could also be a promotional stunt too! I bet human investors would be tickled if Adrian could prove that the Copy Arm could act as self defense against a rogue robot." Cosmos Woman seemed to trail on, losing her track somewhat mid-sentence.
"Oh, and this classroom was formed by me, though it may not match your expectations for a typical classroom. My special weapon, the Cosmos Eye, can be used to observe nearby objects of interest outside of the Earth's atmosphere without the need of a clear sky. It's not optimal for anything besides that though. The image gets fuzzy when zoomed close onto the mansion like this, and since energy from other robots interferes with the Cosmos Eye, you wouldn't be able to find Adrian with it."

@Drive Man
When Drive Man walked into the Main Room and used the Magnet Pulser, a faint jingling could be heard as a few coins of zenny was attracted to the strong aura of magnetic energy emitted from the Copy Arm. It had collected a total of 2.50 Zenny! An odd coin clinged onto the Copy Arm as well. It was a small bronze coin with an inscription, reading
"Marceau Garden's one and only emporium. Come bring this coin over for a surprise!!"
@Mezzo
From the dining room table Mezzo grabbed a leg of turkey meat.
Turkey Leg- A hefty piece of turkey meat that dried a bit from the warm air. Replenishes about 14-17 HP
When he walked over to the two robots who were talking amongst each other, Mezzo could hear that their conversation was just starting to end.
"... So Grease Man really wasn't born in Brooklyn? How can that be?" The green robot was heard saying.
"Robots can't be born, you fool! The parts used to create him were shipped from Brooklyn, that's why he claims to have been born in Brooklyn." The yellow robot responded. The Copy Arm user, a teal colored robot, was silent and was looking down to their Copy Arm. The green robot eventually turned to face Mezzo.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didnt see you there. Though come to think of it, I haven't seen you here in general, aren't you one of the guests from Dr. Marceau's meeting?"

(@Beta Noir) And just moments later, Beta Noir arrived to the group. The robots were all quite confused by the sight of the monochrome robot.
"Huh, you must be another one of Dr. Marceau's investor friends. Last time we had so many strange characters over here was last year's New Year's party… Did you know that I met the Dust Man at that party? He's much shorter than he appears on television, too. He gave me an autograph."
The yellow robot rolled their eyes in response to the green one's incessant rambling. "God- pay no mind to them. Now what was it that you were saying?"
The green robot listened to Beta Noir's question, then shook their head. "We weren't made by Dr. Marceau, he's only created about sixteen robots so far. Most of those that live here were made by various other creators and were relocated here quite some time ago… If you're looking for one of the Robot Masters created by Dr. Marceau, you're going to have a hell of a time with those pesky barriers keeping us here, but I think one of them are in the garden if you want to check there"
@Cut Man
If it weren't for the fact that the door had a sensor which opened it up when someone was nearby, Cut Man would have smashed straight into that glass door!
With nothing to stop his momentum, Cut Man would end up comically somersaulting across the rope bridge connecting the garden, sitting on a raised plateau of land, to the mansion. He eventually would be stopped by hitting a tree trunk head-on.
Interestingly enough, the garden was truly not very much of a garden, moreso that it was an outdoors commune. A grassy area covered in trees, with small plots of land dedicated to growing various fruits and vegetables. A tall locked gate had blocked most of the garden off though
A small stand had been set up near the entrance of a garden. A light red colored robot master manned the stand, and was selling a multitude of items. The stand had a group of customers standing in front of it.
What was truly the biggest attraction was the massive tree that stood in the very center of the current available sector of the garden. A ladder crafted of a set of sturdy looking vines lead to the top of a tree, where a set of wooden platforms had been built upon the branches of the trees. On top of those platforms were four huts, all made of a dark colored wood, differentiated by a color of the roof. There existed a hut with a blue roof, one of a green roof, one of a red roof, and one of a pink roof. The pink-roofed hut was largest in size and every inch of it was covered in thick shrubbery. Another interesting quirk of the pink-roofed hut was that, instead of a door, it had a curtain weaved from grass over the entrance. Perhaps someone of interest was in there…
@Rhys
The kitchen was very plain looking for one belonging to a mansion. The only quality of it that implied it existed within a mansion was its size. Twelve people could have been in there, all cooking at the same time, and they would not have been cramped in the slightest.
As the dinner party was interrupted before all of dessert could have been served, the only prepared food in the kitchen were various pies and cakes, including an interesting looking cherry pie that seemed to give off the most ominous aura.
Among the kitchen were all sorts of cooking equipment. Spatulas, dagger-sized wooden spoons, kitchen-grade knives, among other things… They all could make for suitable weapons in a pinch.

Midi makes sandwich and goes out to main room. Heads into unlabeled
@Midi, L
Midi constructed a turkey club sandwich from the food that laid upon the dining room table.
Turkey Club- A robust sandwich set upon wheat bread. Replenishes somewhere between 9-12 HP

Midi, along with L, then advanced into the unlabeled door. Interestingly enough, the door had a "1" etched into the wood, likely with a knife. How serendipitous that such a door is often referred to as the "Unlabeled Door #1"
The room beyond the door was quite small, and had not other people inside of it. It had seemingly been used as a storage room, it primarily had cardboard boxes, stacked upon each other. However, Midi and L had no chance to look among the boxes because two mechanical creatures jumped from the corners, ready to attack!

Batton
HP: 45/45
Defense: 5
Attack: 3

Mousubeil*
HP: 30/30
Defense: 0
Attack: 4

Floor 3 Type Modifiers: Cutter- 1.5x Impact- 1.3x Neutral- 1.2x Electric- 1.2x Shadow- 0.8x
Mousubeil's max HP is lower than MIDI's Charisma stat! He can use his charm to immediately pacify the foe!
Likely recognizable to those familiar with mechas, the Batton and Mousubeil, a bat and a rodent-like robot respectively, both offer Midi and L quite a menacing glare. They have seemed to claim the storage room as their territory.

Batton swoops down and collides with L, inflicting 3 damage!
Mousubeil rockets across the ground at a high speed and knocks MIDI off of his feet, inflicting 4 damage!
@ Gyro Man, Trio
Before going into the classroom, Trio obtained a handful of pastries.
Sugar Cookie- A plain tasting cookie with just a bit of sugar sprinkled on top. Replenishes about 3-5 HP
Muffin- A muffin with a few blueberries baked into it. Replenishes about 4-6 HP
Cherry Danish- Curiously enough, the cherry flavoring is connected to its ammo replenishing properties. Replenishes about 4-6 HP, and 1 WE to every copy arm ability currently equipped.
A robot wearing a set of thin, purple armor stood at the back of the classroom, behind a table which held a peculiar dark purple sphere. The robot almost seemed to use it as if it were a crystal ball, though the sphere depicted scenes just outside of the earth's atmosphere. The "class" consisted of four rather plain looking robots, along with one of those funny little Mettaur robots. Curiously enough they sat on a couch instead of being seated at a desk. They all looked upon the sphere with intrigue. Behind the robot was a chalkboard which read "Cosmos Woman- Astrology Class"
Once Trio and Gyro Man broke into the classroom, the purple robot, presumably Cosmos Woman, looked to the two guests.
"What in the world…" Cosmos squinted at the two robots. The rest of the class looked to the two at the door in almost ominous unison. The Mettaur had a grimace on its face, uncharacteristic of robots of its kind. Eventually Cosmos Woman's expression returned to normal.
"Ohh, you two must be guests from Adrian's dinner party! Why aren't you in the dining room, though? I was told the dinner party wasn't going to end for another hour."
@Sheep Man
Besides the fact that they were covered in dust and various rubble, the bunch of grapes was perfectly edible.
Grapes- They're pretty much just grapes! Replenishes about 6-8 HP
…That electric barrier was quite a shock! It seemed that the fact Sheep Man was an electric robot proved to offer at least some benefit in that encounter. That blast of high voltage energy raised his Attack stat by 5! Though his body surely would not be able to shake off another contact with the barrier.
When Sheep Man advanced towards the rightmost unlabeled door, he found himself at a door, painted green, with a "2" etched in it, contrasting with the other unlabeled door which had been marked with a "1."
On the other side of the door was a small room, with a full set of furniture consisting of a mixture of couches and cloth benches. A plain, pink robot sat on a bench and was talking amongst two green robots. A Gabyoall spun around on the floor and curiously enough it had been modified to act as a mobile vacuum cleaner.
The only other Copy Arm user in the room was a Mettaur. It wore the arm over its helmet, and the Copy Arm had three cartridges in it.

Trio is accepted! Starting ability is Quartz Beam
Quartz Beam- A beam of concentrated crystalline energy that grows more powerful when the user owns, wears, or is around any precious stones

Mezzo is accepted! Starting ability is Magnet Beam
Magnet Beam- An ability that can temporarily generate platforms, walls, and blocks from magnetic energy. Try sending a wall or block towards a foe during battle!

Drive Man is accepted! Starting ability is Magnet Pulser.
Magnet Pulser- A weak magnetic attack that inflicts more damage against metallic foes. It can collect Zenny coins and small metal objects outside of battle

Cut Man is accepted! Starting ability is Gift Wrap
Gift Wrap- Select an item, and it will be wrapped up in colorful paper! Items encased in wrapping paper will sell for a bit more zenny at shops and merchants. If an item isn't selected, a harmless slip of wrapping paper is shot out

L is accepted! Starting ability is Dash Kick
Dash Kick- A powerful kick, strong enough to launch an opponent! The target will receive more damage if they collide into something, and if there's multiple foes present, the target will launch into the nearest foe and both will receive damage!

Retrop is accepted! Starting ability is Purity Ring
Purity Ring- A calming wave of energy that restores spoiled, rotten, or expired food or items to their original freshness. Try using it in situations where you may handle poison, such as with any poison-using foes

Beta Noir is accepted! Starting ability is Icicle Orbiter
Icicle Orbiter- A barrier made of shards of ice. It is active for three turns and will weaken any attacks the user may receive. Anyone that comes into contact with it will receive damage

Sheep Man is accepted! Starting ability is Sprout Attack.
Sprout Attack- Dangerous sprouts pop out of the ground and inflict damage upon all foes, though it will be less effective to those who are airborne. Try using it outside of battle, it will accelerate the growth of any nearby plants, and any seeds, fruits, or flowers they sprout can be collected!

Opetunia is accepted! Starting ability is Rocket Shot.
Rocket Shot- Materializes a small rocket to be launched at a single foe. Any other foes in battle will receive splash damage from the impact

Gyro Man is accepted! Starting ability is Water Jet
Water Jet- Become the nightmare of carnies across the world with the ability to shoot a focused stream of water with impeccable accuracy. The momentum from the pressurized stream can be used to suspend the user in the air, among other things

Rhys is accepted! Starting ability is Fish Attack!!
Fish Attack!!- The nearest fish (or a fish from the user's inventory) is launched towards a foe, inflicting damage based off of the type of fish. It can also be used to communicate to fish

MIDI is accepted! Starting ability is Refresh Wave
Refresh Wave- A wave of regenerating energy fills the room the user is in. All players, along with the user themself, will replenish 5 HP
A cloud of smoke, left from the charge shot of the unknown robot's buster, just started to dissipate, leaving a large, gaping hole and quite a bit of rubble just below it. Some rubble had landed in the food, rendering it less than ideal to eat, though given the multitude of meat, cheeses, and pastries, among other foods, sitting on the table, it may be a good idea to take a plate or two anyway…
Everyone had just received their own Copy Arm, along with a complimentary ability to go with it. Three empty cartridge slots remained on everyone's Copy Arm, and though there were no more ability cartridges in the dining room, the possibility of the now displaced dinner guests trading abilities amongst each other remained.
There was a grey door with a small window in the dining room. If one were to look into it, they would see that a kitchen was on the other side. Those that may walk out of the dining room were to be greeted with a massive room, adorned with multiple sets of furniture. A few plain looking robots sat on a couch and recliner and were talking amongst each other. One wore a Copy Arm, with two ability cartridges inserted in it.
In the Main Room were four doors leading into other areas. One door was glass, revealing a massive, magnificent garden on the other side. One other was labeled "Classroom," and the other two were unlabelled. Though there were two staircases, one leading to Floor 4 and the other to Floor 2, they were completely inaccessible. In front of each staircase were a barrier of strong electric energy, spanning from the floor to the ceiling. Each barrier crackled with high voltage electricity, it is likely even a robot made for handling electricity would be fried by touching it. Those dinner guests have found themselves in quite a questionably designed mansion!

time-man_alt3 Agh, what?
Musical had been spacing out for the past two days. They certainly weren't managing their time all that well.
time-man_alt3 I can't get to that thing all the way on the other side of the field, but maybe I can shimmy my way over there...
Musical ran south one unit, then tossed a Flash Stopper in the form of a violent purple flash of energy at the Met two units north of them.

Musical looks around the battlefield. They've been standing in an obscure corner of the field for god knows how long purely for the aesthetic of it, trying to act aloof and mysterious even though they are absolutely not that at all.
time-man_alt3 Hahah, nice, that lab's about to get ravaged by that freaky helmet man. How lucky of everyone that I've seen to come in at the perfect time.
Musical runs one unit south, then one unit to the west. They press their buster arm against their chest, and expend all of their weapon energy launching a yellow beam of light into the air that explodes into a harmless, attention-averting star shape.
time-man_alt3 Yes! This should call them away from the lab! I hope so, at least

Musical moves one unit south, then one unit west. They cast Lucky Star

@ElecSpark : Anyway yeah, Megabound is basically just a big self insert story, but in Megabound 2019 the characters actually more closely resemble the people they're based on. I know that, as far as I remember, there's only one chapter of Megabound 2019 on ff.net right now.
And uh NaNoWriMo is a sort of internet challenge, I guess? It's a challenge for authors to write 50 thousand words of original fiction during the month of November, and I was working on a different project during that month (I ended up getting 52k words in November, so I technically "won"). I'm not here to plug that project, but if you were to really want to read it, you could find the draft in the Carrd that I have in my profile here lmao

I remember that I created this abomination of a character like nine months ago as a joke, and I was really interested in this thread because I've adored Smash since I was a young lad, but I didn't want to make a sprite for any character that would take too much effort to make so uhh here's Brenda

Oh no

Brenda was intended to be a support bot similar to that of Roll, Disco, and Rhythm, but while making her, her creator accidentally spilled too much Chemical X™ while making her, and instead of being some sort of cute robot child that knows how to clean, she turned into a gross, lumpy, spiteful woman that wields a Robot Cigarette™ as a weapon.
However, Brenda's fighting style is still reminiscent of her intended purpose as a support bot. Her moveset contains a variety of projectiles, disjointed attacks, and moves utilizing windboxes with the purpose of keeping her foes away and preventing them from attacking her.

Jab: Strikes the foe with her cigarette holder, brandishing it like a spear.
Utilt: Waves her cigarette holder in the air. (like Villager's up tilt but even worse)
Dtilt: Slams her cigarette holder into the ground, generating a violent burst of flames
Ftilt: Waves her cigarette holder like a wand and, generated from the cigarette smoke, summons a smoke hand that does a funky lil slap. Offers a disjointed hitbox similar to Simon's ftilt.
Dash attack: Shoves her hands out, shooting out a puff of smoke that harmlessly pushes away the foe.

Forward Smash: Jabs her cigarette holder out, generating a Smoke Hand that slams its fist onto the ground in front of Brenda.
Down Smash: Leans forward and slams her heel on the ground. Buries grounded foes, spikes those in the air
Up Smash: Holding the cigarette holder in her fist, Brenda delivers a flashy (but rather ineffective) flaming uppercut.

Nair: Generates a ring of smoke around her that pushes foes away.
Fair: Shoots out a short ranged energy shot from her cigarette holder
Bair: Delivers a quick, powerful kick behind her with her heel.
Dair: Does a quick stomp that oddly sends the target upward instead of spiking them.
Uair: Strikes her cigarette holder in the air, which offers strong upward knockback
Zair: Shoots out a long, whispy smoke hand from her cigarette holder, which just harmlessly pushes foes away.

Grab: Grabs at the foe with her smoke hand.
Pummel: Kicks at the foe.
Up throw: Punts the foe away like a football
Down throw: Brenda's smoke hand slams the foe into the ground, burying the foe.
Forward throw: Tosses the foe away with her smoke hand.
Back throw: Grabs the foe and suplexes them

Normal Special: Brenda Buster Works similarly to a Mega Buster. Brenda charges her buster (using her cigarette holder to charge it) and fires off a shot composed of smoke and ink in a horizontal path. When it hits someone, they remain stunned for a relatively short amount of time.
Forward Special: Heel Smash Brenda takes off one of her heels and tosses it. The heel moves in an upward arc and, after completing its path, comes back to Brenda. It can hit its foe multiple times, but while Brenda doesn't have her heel, her run speed is somewhat decreased.
Down Special: Smoke Barrier Brenda generates a barrier of vile smoke that can harmlessly knock back opponents. It can be angled up or down, which changes the angle at which the foe will be knocked back (if angled up, the foe is knocked back at a downward angle, and vice versa). Smoke Barrier can reflect projectiles, but they are reflected at x0.7 of its power and speed.
Up Special: Ink Splat Brenda aims her cigarette holder downwards, and shoots a jet of ink that propels her. It can be angled, but doesn't inflict any damage. Brenda doesn't enter a state of helplessness after using it.

Final Smash: Secondhand Smoke Brenda envelopes a large portion of the stage in a thick, poisonous fog that remains present for almost half of a minute. The fog inflicts constant damage, and those caught in the fog inflict less damage and can be knocked off stage much more easily.

Taunt: Tosses her cigarette holder in the air, then catches it.
Idle Anim. 1: Looks around cautiously
Idle Anim. 2: Waves her cigarette holder in the air as if it were a drum stick.
