Hello guys! Did you guys notice a certain "new" section? Well, if you didn't, it's right here!

Note: This guide is more for you newer players out there, not the more "experienced" fellows.

Anyway, is it already time to start it off?

Ok, here we go!

Well, as you guys know, we start off at the intro field, more specifically Dr. Light's. Nothing here, except I would complete it 8 times for good measure......

Next is the Robot Master stages! Do NOT go after Elec Man first! Actually, do go fail against him! Perhaps you could get some support after that!

Once you get the Support from your new teammate, go after anyone you want!(besides Elec Man) Cut Man is a good start! But Time Man is an even better first!

Once you start the battle, use Roll against the mechas. They aren't too hard. Once the Robot Master comes out, switch Roll out. However, it's better if you keep her out for a while and damage the Robot Master. Once she's low health, switch with Mega Man. Spam Mega Buster and destroy your opponent!

Now keep to the Weakness chart! By the way, the scan button and database might provide some use......


You get Robot Masters from defeating them buster-only. However, it's better you DON'T get them yet! Much too hard with your puny robots!

Once you defeat them all, you will unlock the Rival Battle.

Bass and Disco will confront you here! Beware!

Not really, bring all the robots you've accumulated and make good use of weaknesses!

You should get Wily, but a better idea is to keep on training in the Rival Battle. It gives you a good amount of experience. Try to get everyone to level 20 or beyond.

Now you go on to Wily! Do the same strategy for Wily as you did Light! Weaknesses!

Don't go after me first.....

If you want me, fail two different missions in Wily's story...

Now train in Rival Battles! You'll be after Proto Man and Rhythm! Try to get to level 30 or more!

And Dr. Cossack! Same strategy here, but do not go after Toad Man! His Rain Flush is killer!

If you want me, fail three different missions in Cossack's story.

Rival Battles once again! Try Level 40! It'll help for....

Fusion Fields!

Trade between the doctors through clicking on robots! Click the name of the owner and it should give you other options! Pick the one that you want to send it to! Weaknesses and trading are very important here! Mega Slide, Proto Strike, and Bass Baroque are also important, as well as Bass Crush, Proto Shield, and Mega Ball! Those moves will send you to victory!



Final Destination approaches..... Your signature moves will help you against the Killers!(Enker, Punk, Ballade)
Note that these robots can't be unlocked!

Also, remember to grab the other robot masters with your signature moves! Hope you didn't forget!

The Copy-bots shouldn't be a challenge due to the multipliers!

And the Final Battle is already here! Use weaknesses, items, signature moves, and use those multipliers to your advantage!


Do you want Level 100 robots? Bonus Field 2 should help! The extremely-high multipliers will help, use that to your advantage! Don't bring many robots! Less experience to share! If one is 100, points don't go to that bot, so use that advantage too!

Weaknesses will help! With a couple tries, most robots should have 100 levels under their belt! By the way, super-effective hits increase EXP!

"As for experience, here are a few pointer for raising robots:

1. Landing super effective attacks boosts the experience multiplier for the stage by 10% every time you do it, and the effect lasts until the end of battle. Critical hits also have this effect. You can easily increase to 2x or 3x in the right conditions.

2. Be picky and take fewer robots into battle with you. Experience points are divided among all teammates, so if you take fewer with you they will each get more at a time. This way you can raise only the ones you really need first, and then use those ones later to power-level your weaker robots faster.

3. Try to get overkill as much as possible, as its converted directly into experience points. If the target has 10 life energy remaining and you try to deal 100 points of damage, the target will be disabled and the difference (90) will be added to your experience point bonus. It might not seem like it's worth it to use a powerful ability when the enemy only has a few hit points left, but it is."

Intro Field: Not that great, but ok for starters. Don't replay too much!
Rival Battles: Inferior to other grinding areas(besides intro), but good for starter players.
Final Destination 1: Good, but there are better choices just ahead.
Final Destination 2: If you can't beat Final Destination 3, train here.
Final Destination 3: The best of the destinations, but what you unlock is much better.
Bonus Field 2: The best option, the insane multipliers will result in a lot of damage, meaning more experience points.....

How to get Mega Man 3?

Go to Bonus Field 2 and find bots from 3! Scan them!

When you beat the game, click on the new tab called "Shop" up top! Go to Kalinka's picture, and you can buy Mega Man 3 fields for 48,000!


Too expensive? Find StarForce! Click "Players" up top and if you click on a field, it can be changed! Grab a bunch! Not only will your team grow stronger, robot cores can be sold for higher prices in Reggae's shop. Farm your money, young padawan....

How to get Robot Cores? It has a 50% chance of happening if you use super-effective moves on a Robot Master.

With this information, you can beat the game! Gain plenty of StarForce to challenge the top heads on the leaderboard in.......Player Battles!

Hello, you guys probably know me. You know, Genius billionaire Mega Man playing philanthropist? Well, besides all that, I actually have an active role in certain parts of the Prototype, namely the bios! Now, most of you probably don't care about what I do or maybe who I am, but perhaps this will peek your interest? Of course, for those of you who might actually be interested, you'll learn the guide on how I do it, as the reason in which I made this thread!(And to get my own little how-to thread in news, like MMX100, Sean, and Brorman. Their contributions might matter more to the game, but my processes are important too!)

First, ask Adrian. It's HIS fan-game, so he decides how he wants it!


Well, before starting any bio, you always want to make sure that you check up the Mega Man Knowledge Base to check if the facts you're going to put are actually verified by the All-Knowing itself. Having to rewrite any bio because you put down wrong information on the robot is a rookie mistake. Now, are you a rookie? No!(maybe) Check the facts! If you're not sure what's been put down is canon, check the CD database from Mega Man and Bass(or perhaps the field guide, either one...)



Next is making the bio, right? Wrong! I like to start by going into the database. Another time-consuming thing to do, but it's important. You may not realize it, but Spriters, Staters, Bioers and Quoters actually depend each other(at least, on my side of things). We each get inspiration for things from each others work, as each of us are tasked with providing something with personality. It's nice for us to be consistent, right? For example, I actually had to check the sprites to see if Top Man had a spin sprite and also not a dizzy defeat sprite which thankfully, he does/doesn't. It would have resulted in downgraded work, which you should always try to avoid. Actually, that's a terrible example. I'll remember something better tommorow.

Now it's time to make the bios! Wrong! Next we need to...Wait, you're right!

Typically the bio starts with "[X] was made to do [Y]." It might sound bad at first, but works best with everything else I include. Also, making each robot similar in bios is the best thing you can do, as demonstrated in these statements.



"First created to find energy elements on foreign planets"-

"First created to light areas too dark for human eyes"-

"A series created for irrigation of crops during times of drought"-

"Being the first series to be created for underwater use,"-


A bit too many "first", but this will be remedied later.
I like to follow up with "[X] found that [Y] could do [Z]" or something along those lines....

"they found that they could create rain of acid."-

Only one example? Perhaps I'm too lazy......

"the Pharaoh Man unit has great control over fire and such."

Or not.....

Did I mention we need to refer to them as units? Confusing, right?!

Next we talk about their abilities! It doesn't always have to be their weapon first, maybe something stat related or something about the first statement? You do need to mention the weapon somewhere though! You could also include something from trivia or the story! Heck, the doctors's bio mentions a certain "Prototype"......

"Heat Man’s Atomic Fire is a powerful flame attack that gets stronger upon use, and a few select individuals claim they’ve seen Heat Man use a similar move to Fire Man’s Fire Chaser."

Why is Heat Man not referred to as an unit? Wait, I'll get to that!.

Next is personality! Stay as true to the games as you can! You can also mention other's opinion on it, things and hobbies they do, and even rumors that spread about what they do!

"A rumor in the robot community says that Gemini Man spends his time looking at his clones, much like a mirror. He has shown traits of narcissism, but any mention of a snake makes him run for the hills, let alone compliment his ego."

No mention to a unit?!

Now, you can also say how they spend their days, although this is often rare in my work.

"Time Man has found use as the top researcher at the Chronos Time-Space Institute and has finished work with other workers on a “Time Skipper”"

Last but not least is the ending statement! Work is the only thing that can explain it!
This is the end for you....


"While he might brag a bit too much, he can always protect the innocent with electrifying proficiency."

Despite being an oil-bot, this seems to be to his advantage in battle, as the enemies don’t seem to want to covered in oil...and defeat.

"Guts Man may have muscles of steel, but he has a heart of gold."



You can also mention something notable they've done/tried!


"Wood Man is also trying to spot the illustrious Bigfoot, but hasn't had much luck......"

Oh wait! I forgot! Anyway, The reason why some mention units and some don't?

......Because Adrian changed his mind on how he wants it! That's how it is in this line of work, everything is subject to change! The multiple versions you saw at the beginning are the old ones and the one's based on the originals only(singular) are the new ones that I'm revising for each robot! It'll take some time, but the result will be much better!

BTW: Don't blame Adrian. It's fine. I can redo it without any problems! It just requires time. Trust me, I'm glad Adrian asked me to do that!

Time Man

Time Man was created for research on time, but unforeseen time restraints stopped production on Time Man. The main problem, however was his confusing algorithm system that Dr. Light thought would make him too “Powered Up” compared to other robots, so he thought he’d hold off on the project. Sometime not far after, Dr. Wily stole him and completed him, although not without some flaws. Time Man was originally supposed to be able to stop time completely for a few short seconds, but now he can only slow down time for a few seconds. To make up for this, Dr. Wily gave him the Time Arrow to slow down opponents and damage them. Time Man prefers for everything to be on time, and he even plans his day out the week before! Time Man has found use as the top researcher at the Chronos Time-Space Institute and has finished work with other workers on a “Time Skipper”, although it requires a large amount of energy, which was unfortunately wasted when Dr. Wily stole it for his nefarious purposes. Time Man does annoy others with his schedule, but it seems this way gives him a lot of proficiency...And allows him end battles all the quicker.

Ice Man
Created to function under cold climate conditions, Ice Man has an advantage in the snow. His Ice Slasher is a sharp piece of ice they release to freeze opponents, that can practically be on fire. Ice Man is a show-off because he believes he is the coolest bot out there, and the admiration from Freeze Man doesn’t hurt his ego. Ice Man loves having snow fights and Winter, but he hates Saunas, due to feeling stuffy in them. Although one might suppose Ice Man can’t function well in hot environments, he performs averagely well in them. Whether he is the coolest robot might just come from his inflated ego , the fighters who have tumbled with Ice Man might support that belief.




And Roll
Originally created to clean houses and other things, Roll has lately shown signs of wanting to help out in the battle. Although one might not suspect so, Roll shows great gymnastic skill and can even fight even with the simplest of household items such as brooms and vacuums. However, Roll, befitting her nature, prefers to support her teammates with the Roll Buster, a buster that does not hurt opponents, but rather hinder the opponent's defense. Roll decided that this was the best way to help her brother, so she equipped multiple busters on her, being known by robots all over the world as “The Queen of Busters”. Although at first being a damsel in distress, she has grown to be a great help on the battlefield.

And these ones even Adrian hasn't put his peepers on! (Not finalized, subject to change)

Metal Man

Metal Man is an robot with upgrades based on the Cut Man series and use this to fight with deadly skill. He has the Metal Blade, one of the most deadliest attacks ever created and legend suggests that it can take down an entire army. Metal Man has great speed and likes to fight on conveyor belts, switching the direction every so often to confuse the opponent. he has been called the dentist of the future, jokingly due to the large Metal Blade on his head. Metal Man is often sarcastic and not to be trusted by anyone, which is a major contrast to Cut Man. His hobbies include playing with flying discs but the game is ruined for him when a dog catches it instead. Metal Man is extremely deadly, but some rumors suggest he can be defeated with his own weapon, the Metal Blade....


Air Man

A robot made only for combat, Air Man has an unusual and intimidating look, being the first of many to use this look. Air Man attacks by using wind, creating powerful tornadoes to slash the opponent with the wind. Air Man can also push back his opponents to the edge of the field and with the right wind speed, he can create a hurricane the size of a skyscraper and a half! Air Man is somewhat of an egoist and can talk for such long periods of time that even an auctioneer would find it exasperating. He likes to wind-surf with “Item-2” and play the Japanese card game Menko. It’s been said that Air Man is undefeatable, but perhaps the rumor was spread by Air Man himself?


Heat Man

A robot created to burn, Heat Man can burn up to 12,000 degrees with his Atomic Fire. He was created from Fire Man's blueprints, directly upgrading all his abilities, including the Fire Storm. Heat Man’s Atomic Fire is a powerful flame attack that gets stronger upon use, and a few select individuals claim they’ve seen Heat Man use a similar move to Fire Man’s Fire Chaser . He doesn’t care much for his work and does it without any care, although this may cause some accidents in the workplace. Heat Man likes to invite friends to his summer barbecues, but dislikes going to pool parties and buying ice cream. Heat Man may seem like a ripoff of Fire Man’s design, but the same fire is in their hearts.

And lastly....Magnet Man! Check the new bios in a few days! I would reveal more, but I think I've revealed enough......



Magnet Man was made to control incredible magnetic disasters if the occasion ever arrived. Although he was never able to fulfill that role, Dr. Wily found a new use for him. Dr. Wily modified him to have the Magnet Missile, a magnet-shaped object that can follow any robot to their doom. He can also attract robots to his position with his magnetic powers, but that requires heavy mastery of his powers. Magnet Man is good in the field of management, but he has an abrasive personality and has no sense of direction. Magnet Man was also ordered to stay away from as many electronic devices as he can due to easily corrupting them. Magnet Man is notably the first robot to ever truly love another robot, but that relationship ended quick when Magnet Man accidentally ruined his mate’s cell phone. Magnet Man then used that experience to create the first hit song made by a robot.

And here's a short little preview.....
The Underground Laboratory was a secret laboratory for the government, specializing in use of lasers for combat, but Wily’s hacking revealed the location to Quick Man, who stole ownership. Swift and Lasers work well here, but Space and Crystal will suffer difficulties. The Spring Heads move constantly around the Laboratory, delivering strong Swift attacks to your team. Top Man likes to come and spin around the lasers, trying to challenge himself to achieve his goal to be the best dancer.


The Massimo Mill, also known as the Steel Mill was one of the leading producers of steel, and Fire Man knew this well when he took it over, planning to cut off delivery of steel to the rest of the world. The intense heat boosts fiery attacks, although the opposite happens for attacks that rely on water or nature. The Tackle Fires are off-products of the flames here, having a MC chip(Mecha Control Chip) somehow inserted inside them. Heat Man likes to sneak in here without Fire Man’s knowing, sometimes stealing some steel for the Atomic Furnace.


The Reflection Chamber was a large series of glaciers taken over by Gemini Man, but what was unique about these glaciers was the inside of the glaciers. Inside, the glaciers were entirely contained of an alien-like mineral, Magna Quartz. The Magna Quartz has a special quality that gives power to Crystal and Laser attacks, but weakens Shadow and Explode attacks. Three different types of Nitrons guard the Magna Quartz, attacking any who get near. Crystal Man has been seen attempting to break in and steal the Magna Quartz, but it seems he hasn’t had much luck.


Found accidentally by Pharaoh Man while under Wily’s control, he decided to use the ancient temple for his base of operations. Because the magic of the ancient people still linger on here, Flame, Shadow, and Earth attacks are boosted, but because no winds have touched this place in thousands of years, Wind attacks are weakened. The Pyre Fly, based off designs in the murals inside, attack with a strange type of flame. Flame Man likes to come and analyze the objects found within the temple with Pharaoh Man, in which they found a huge drawing on a hidden room, featuring multiple weird beings. Some of these drawings show figures resembling the Stardroids and Duo, but there are other figures that are unrecognizable.

I'm pretty sure we all have personalities. If you don't, you're a vegetable. Bland and tasteless. Anyway, remember that whole CD data from Mega Man and Bass. The point of this thread is to write one for yourself! You have the option of putting it into a robot that represents yourself too! Here's one to start it all off!

"Hahaha....Where's the party?!"


Bio: "The robot MegaBoss Man was created by..... well, no one knows! He also doesn't seem to have a purpose either, besides living! His main weapon, Zany End can literally break reality and can randomly do actions that almost seem impossible to the average Bot! MegaBoss Man appears to not have a side to fight for and has a major flaw in his circuits, making the robot incredibly crazy! He loves movies, video games and his girlfriend(when she isn't steaming mad, which is likely to happen....A LOT) and has an incredibly annoying Eastern-European accent. This robot is the strangest ever documented and has power that only a responsible robot can handle.....This isn't good."

Bad Trait: Unpredictable
Likes: Video games and shows from his childhood
Dislikes: Terrible movies/games and plot holes you could fit the Titanic into

After this, I'm going to start putting my Mega Man series on some sort of fan fiction site. I'll provide you with a link when I find one. Know any good ones? Anyway, the finale and the last story going on this website! I don't want to clutter the general thread anymore.

“What?! How did you get past my defenses?! Even something I could make would have trouble with that!” Bellowed Dr. Wily, from his floating UFO device.

“Well then, I guess I’m lucky, cause I don’t remember you handling my external structure.” joked the figure.

“Did Dr. Right really repair you that quickly, Bomb Man?!” stated by our bewildered hero, Mega Man. He glanced over to the Numbers behind him and was sure Right didn’t have any plans for any extra Robot Masters nor did he have the supplies, so he deduced that these two Robot Masters had to have had outside help.

“ Your looks make me guess you’re wondering on who these two might be, so might I introduce Time Man and Oil Man?”

The two figures looked over and the Robot Master obviously being Oil Man due to having a Oil pump for his left arm and a oil drop shaped head along with a out of place scarf introduced himself.

“Yo! The name’s Oil Man and I see you guys are sorta having a party or something, so might as well join the crowd, right? Where the ladies be at?”

The Robot Master with a head most likely inspired by a alarm clock and a chest with a functioning clock did the same.

“I would like to make this quick so I’m Time Man and I have an appointment at 7. If we finish this now, I could make it just in time.”

“Come on! Here I was making my big debut on the stage, and some Dummkopfs come in and ruin MY part! Make your introductions quick, my men because the climax is about to begin!”[Skip this section if you know what the Robot Masters look like and have an idea on what they act like.]

“Hi! I’m Heat Man! I burn stuff! Hahaha!” Heat Man looked like a lighter box with a face that made it seem like nothing sane goes on with him.
A scuba diver robot was the next to speak, but all that came out was a blurbing noise and the word bubble.
“Metal Man’s my name. I reckon you catch my Metal Blades if you know what’s good for ya, yuppies.” Metal Man looked like his paintwork wasn’t very well done, and the only notable thing about his appearance was the large sharp disc on his forehead. His eyes looked red and someone who would stare too long into those piercing eyes of horror could probably lose their mind.
“Wood Man, that is my name. You robots are advancing science and ruining nature. This is something I cannot allow.” Wood Man looked like a tree stump and his expression didn’t seem like he wanted to hurt anybody, but it seemed he would still follow Wily’s orders.
“Hello gentlemen. My name is Airus Cepheus Manbot, but you may call me Air Man.” He appeared to have his face on his chest and below that was a giant fan.
“Imma crash you! Imma smash and clash. Crash Man mad! Hehehehe!”. Crash Man had menacing drill hands and a smile that showed he wanted to kill.
“I believe it’s my time to shine. I’m Flash Man and I suppose you’re the trash we have to clean.” Flash Man had a shiny round head and blue armor, but not much else.
“Hmmp. I’ll end the blue boy wonder. Prequels are never as good as the sequels. ” This Robot stared directly at Mega Man and had a gigantic boomerang in his right head. He had a huge build and had another boomerang on his head. “Hasta la vista, Blue Bomb….”

Bomb Man interrupted the statement by the Boomerang-bot by joking“Yeah, we get it. Cheap knockoffs want a chance at the title holders. Hey, who needs a E-tank?” E-tanks were a rare delicacy and could restore any damage done to a robot, but needed a large amount of supplies to produce. Right MUST have gotten some outside help.

As the E-tank flew towards the group, Wily nodded at the mysterious robot. Cut Man stepped up on Guts Man’s arm and he threw him at Wily’s capsule. As Cut Man reached in for the win, Metal Man threw his Metal Blades and Cut Man was forced to change his trajectory. He crash landed near the maniac Crash Man and Crash Man released multiple timed bombs. As Cut Man was getting up from his landing, the Crash Bombs continued on ticking. Time Man fired off an arrow and slowed down the ticking of the bombs! Cut Man quickly got up and brought out his blade for Metal Man and they clashed together with their sharp weapons. All this happened during the time it took for Mega Man to catch the E-tank. Mega Man held the E-tank and held it up to his mouth. The E-tank, instead of filling Mega Man’s systems, disappeared like an after-image. The Boomerang-bot threw up the missing E-tank and caught it.”Guess you know why they call me Quick Man?”

Guts Man ran to throw a punch at Quick Man exclaiming “Gimme that, Flashy!”
Quick Man was struck directly in the face-- but turned out to be another afterimage! “Sorry, my mother doesn’t allow me to play with big oafs!”
Wood Man rolled at a high speed and tripped Guts Man, and proceeded to beat the giant robot left and right.
The rest of the fighters continued to battle. Bubble Man shot bubbles and continued to melt Ice Man’s attacks and melted some parts of his fluffy coat.
Fire Man fired his flames but Heat Man proceeded to push through the flames and tackled Flame Man, coated in a blaze of fire.
Time Man slowed down Flash Man, but he just freezed Time Man completely. Oil Man slided between Air Man, but Air Man produced a tornado that ripped through Oil Man’s skin, leaking oil everywhere. Elec Man and Mega Man ran towards the wall, and with some help from each other, they wall-jumped across the room. When they got to the upper floor, Wily fired off a large spark but Elec Man managed to absorb the energy and aimed his flowing electric. A quick flash came and cut Elec Man’s arm, releasing excess energy everywhere. Mega Man fell on the floor, and saw his brothers struggling to compete with their betters. Elec Man started to shut down and Quick Man stood over him and put the blade over his neck.
A faint light came from the roof and Quick Man dodge the light. It hit Elec Man directly and continued to do so until all of the Right Numbers were hit.


“Who got the job done?” echoed a voice from below.

A figure fell down, and meanwhile, the Light Numbers were getting up.
A womanly figure appeared, carrying a grin on her face.
“Roll?! What are you doing here?!” questioned Mega Man, surprised on how his sister was suitable for battle after all.
"The doctor decided you might need some help. I had some modifications. The hard part was your location! Your signal wasn't functioning correctly."
“Roll, I’m sorry for how I reacted about you. I guess I was kinda under pressure at the time.
“It’s OK Rock. How about we teach these fakes on how we did it back in the day?”
The numbers collided once again, only this time the tide turned. The Light Numbers had the advantage over the battle worn Seconds, and only Quick Man wasn’t being over-powered. Wily was preparing his escape, with Roll hot on his tail. She didn’t have much offense capability but she had grace and she moved like a gymnastics teacher. She caught on to the side of her capsule and try to open the capsule.
"I won't let you defeat the doctor, you she-devil!" screamed Quick Man
Elec Man, luckily, hit Quick Man and told Mega Man to help her sister. Quick Man, paralyzed tried to run after the Blue Bomber but couldn’t move nearly as fast, allowing Elec Man to track his movements.

It was soon when the dynamic duo, Mega Man and Roll followed the doctor into a dark room with no sound whatsoever besides the Wily Capsule's constant beeping. The Wily Capsule lowered down and a click sound was heard. Thousands of blinding lights came on, and a machine equipped with many weapons hulked over the duo. It fired off countless blasts and Mega Man rushed over to his mechanical sister and took the weight of the blast, but the bursts of flames was still too much for the younger robot and she was almost off-line. “R...Ro..Rock, ta...ke this.” She handed him a chip and Mega Man inserted it into his buster. The data of the weapons of the Right Robot Masters came flooding into his mainframe and as Wily’s dangerous device came towards him, he was ready. Roll’s system shut down, and Mega Man knew he wouldn’t have any back up supporting him. He threw a Hyper Bomb at the colossal machine to distract it, and shut down it’s machine gun by blasting it with Ice Slasher. He used Flame Storm to burn the machine and used Super Arm to punch a hole in the device. He cut down the wires controlling the machine and put Oil Shooter and a Time Arrow in the torn-down machine to wear it down. He fired a Thunder Beam and shut down the machine, trying to avoid the doctor.

“If only I had programmed you differently back then...! It would have been genius! It's the only mistake I've made in my life! “
“ I'm really angry, Dr. Wily! Using innocent robots for your own evil plans and hurting my family—I won't forgive you for this!”

Wily sprung up out of his machine and back into the darkness. As Mega Man began his pursuit, a screeching noise spread around the room. Something was forming in the shadow and he saw a glimpse of some sort of Wily/monster hybrid. He realized that thing was Wily and the creature floated towards Mega Man. It’s face brought horror and looked deformed, something straight out of a horror movie. It slashed Mega Man’s chest and gave him a battle scar. Mega Man fired off a blast onto it’s chest and killed the creature. The area that was struck turned brittle and cracked. Mega Man sighed relief into the air, believing the job was done. He could see the gaping hole on it’s chest from the strike. He noticed some movement inside until some tentacle-like substance grabbed him. The creature brought Mega Man closer to it’s chest, hoping to swallow our protagonist whole. Mega Man saw visions that the creature was transmitting into his head, of war and hate, killing, destruction, slavery, darkness, and his family kneeling...No, their heads were being held up into that position by something. They were wincing in pain, like their heads were being crushed. Mega Man broke down, his mind being unraveled. He saw a light. He saw his family, except this time, they were fighting together. Right, Roll, the Firsts and various other new robots. If they could fight, so could he! He charged up his buster to it’s max. He ripped off his hand holding the buster, and shoved it down the alien-like creature’s hole. He ducked for cover, and a huge blast covered the room! The creature was gasping but something mysterious was happening. It moved like it was buffering and the creature was glitching out, as if it was a computer of some sort. Mega Man noticed a spark coming out of the room and used his other and only hand to function as a buster. He took a risk. The creature was coming at Mega Man and he needed to destroy the device now! He took all of his weapons from the chip and put them together into one fusion weapon. He felt the extreme pain from all the weapons functioning on one buster and had no time to aim. He fired all that power into a rainbow colored energy and it directly hit the device. The energy was too much for the damaged device and it started to malfunction! The alien started going into various poses and eventually different objects. The room lighted up and Mega Man saw Wily in the corner controlling some sort of device.
“W-Wait a minute! I promise to be good! I'm a changed man! I said I promise! Please don't hurt me!!”
“Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. But you’ll still have to go somewhere for a long time. Hope you like jail!”
“Sorry, but you need to reevaluate that statement!”
Six pods came from the wall and created a wall of lasers, preventing Mega Man to pass and giving Wily a free chance to escape. The Seconds came from a wall door and closed it quickly, with yelling from Guts Man on the other side.
“No! I’m not done! My revenge isn’t complete! Please open it….with a cherry on top?”
“Guts Man, you’re not going to get past. Yes, not even you Ice Man. Stop showing off.”

Wily and his comrades opened a hatch and a mechanical beast resembling a dragon came out.
“Sorry I have to leave Mega Man. Wily won’t let me play any longer. Don’t worry, it won’t take long till we meet again! Hahaha!” yelled Quick Man, with a childish tone to his voice. Mega Man destroyed the six pods with his remaining energy, but by then, the villains had already left, barely visible. Mega Man opened the door.
“Did you get them, pal?” Said Fire Man
“Where are they?” Said Elec Man
“Did you ‘cut’ them out of the picture?” Joked Cut Man
“Shaddup Cut Man! This is serious!” said the group, almost in-sync.
“Sorry. But I doubt they’re coming back anytime soon. Guys, pick up Roll. We’re going back to Right for repairs. I think he’ll be happy to see us!”
“He can repair us in no time! He’s pretty ‘sharp’!
Everybody howled with laughter except Guts Man, who really just wanted to throw Cut Man out of the building.









Six months later…..


“I can’t believe it! Having to waste my genius here in these dirty old ruins! At least I have the build for the Diverse Operations Circuit Robot. Flash Man? What are you doing here? Is Wood Man complaining about the quality of the plants here again? Tell him nobody’s been treating it yet!”

“Actually, Dr. We found something in the ruins. It appears broken-down but should function with some repairs. We also found something else entering the borders of our territory. Should we destroy it?”

“No. See what it does first. Another thing to break Mega Man and his hope is fine by me!”

We all know. You always hear about it. "Mega Man is dead and hated by Capcom."

True. Capcom hasn't fed our hunger in a while. However, can you really say they hate Mega Man. Mega Man had many games, which other series(Okami and Conker to name a few) and despite the fact they haven't made a Mega Man game in a while. Doesn't he have a comic series with a great crossover with a certain blue hedgehog, and coming VERY soon, one with his future representation. Fan-games keep the series alive, a board game is coming out, multiple games are coming on Eshop and Mighty No. 9 will be a "Mega Man" game with minor differences. Hell, isn't he the most anticipated character in Smash? A video I found gives a better depth into what I'm talking about.

So before you call Mega Man dead, remember all I've said. Mega Man may not be a Mario, but he still remains a legend with much more games than most other series. Capcom doesn't necessarily hate Mega Man. We all know their funds are running low and since Inafune and other skilled developers left/were fired due to funds, so perhaps they don't want to ruin it. They doubt they can make Mega Man with most developers skilled in creating it gone. Or maybe our criticism is making them nervous about creating a good Mega Man game. Whatever the case, I feel lucky for our Blue Bomber, because he isn't dead. Maybe just taking a short break. Remember Sonic in Brawl? He was doing terrible until he appeared in that game, and was revived in Colors. Perhaps Mega Man will rise like a phoenix one day, but until then, I trust Capcom will do the right thing.







I just realized I don't agree with myself here anymore. Excuse my views here.

This is a direct sequel to my first "Introduction to Mega Man"! I was going to put it as a new post on the original thread, but it seems that the character space didn't agree with me.

“Do you really want to do this? Frankly, I don’t believe you stand much of a chance. You were created to help, not to fight.” Dr. Right said as he pondered Rock’s statement.

“Yes, I was created to help. Right now, I have to help humanity.”

“I’ll give you all I can do, but even with my help, I’m afraid that the odds are stacked against you.”

Rock replied “Do you remember? You told me that you designed each Robot Master with a weapon and weakness, and each weapon was a weakness to another Robot Master. I can use that to my advantage.”

Dr. Light then spent the next few days equipping Rock with the most durable armor they had, as well as a Proton Blaster V 2.0 device, nicknamed the “Mega Buster". The next weapon given to Rock was the Magnet Beam, a add-on to the Mega Buster that could create a temporary platform for reaching higher areas and to escape danger if too difficult. A core was also added to be able to teleport to any area, as long as there is a transmission. The last device given to Rock was the Copy Chip, a chip that if Rock was able to grab hold of a Robot Master and download his data, he would be able to use the weapon that the Robot Master originally had.

“It took quite some time, but I finally managed to give you the power to stop the enraged robots. This day will be known as the birth of Mega Man! However to me, you will always be Rock.”

“I’ll send you as far as the transmission will allow, but even then you’ll have to walk quite a ways.”

Mega Man prepared for what danger could lie ahead, and he sent his coordinates to Bomb Man’s location. Based on the data of Bomb Man, he was known as being cocky, and staying too close to his bombs. He also appeared to look like a large Bowling ball, with a mohawk and a threatening smile to match. His weapon was the Hyper Bomb, a bomb filled to the brim with explosives.

The world turned blue, and Mega Man’s last glimpse of the lab showed him Dr. Right, with a tear in his eye.

Mega Man’s next sight was a city, except with no movement whatsoever. A quiet chill was in air, and the feelings of life still lingered on, in bits and pieces. As he walked through the city, he encountered what seemed to be an old military “Beak”, a weapon with a defensive shell and a turret. He picked it up, when it suddenly opened and blasted Mega Man. He stepped back and shot it, destroying it. He looked at it’s remains, knowing he had caused that.

“Beautiful, right? Of course, I made a bigger boom when I destroyed one the other day!”

Mega Man looked behind him, finding Bomb Man with his foot on another beak, then found it crushed within seconds.

“Why? A soul is a precious thing to waste, and you just did that without any care. You’re not Bomb Man. The real Bomb Man wouldn’t have done that."

“And then the old Bomb Man would have been like that waste of scrap!”

Bomb Man lunged forward towards Mega Man, and kicked him straight in the face. He proceeded to throw five Hyper Bombs, but Mega Man used the Magnet Beam to avoid them all. Bomb Man threw another five, and one exploded near Mega Man. The others struck a nearby building and caused it to collapse. The wreckage landed near Mega Man and clouded his vision.

“Don’t hide! That’s when the game gets boring!”

Mega Man charged up his buster, and shot a gigantic blast. The blast struck Bomb Man straight in his leg, and caused multiple Hyper Bombs to blow up.

“I think…..it’s over. That was...quick.” Mega Man said with heavy panting.

Before he knew it, a bomb struck him! Mega Man laid upon the ground, wondering if that was it for him. What remained of Bomb Man walked up, and he had a Hyper Bomb right in his hand.

“That big boom you made earlier, you should have shown me more of that! That was kinda boring, but you did almost finish me. Any last words?”

“Maybe a few…...You shouldn’t have bragged.“

Mega Man fired off his Buster and shot him directly in the face, damaging his CPU brain. He made sure the blast took Bomb Man temporarily off-line and didn’t kill him. “Dr. Light, are you there?” When the transmission appeared, he saw the doctor with a young girl?!

“Dr. Right, who is that?”

“Meet your new sister, Roll. I just finished creating her, and she’ll help me around the lab while you’re gone.”

“So what you’re saying is that you’re replacing me when I get destroyed! Dr. Right, how could you?”

“Rock, I didn’t say that! She’ll be a gift when you get back so we can start a family once again!”

“I’m transporting the remains of Bomb Man back to you, and you can make a copy of him! I’m ending the transmission.”

Roll looked at the screen of the laboratory. “Dr., I wasn’t trying to make him feel that way. I just….”

“It’s not your fault. Rock’s always been a little sensitive about things. Plus, fighting for the world's a little stressful.”

Mega Man transported to the next place, except it wasn’t where he expected to be. He was inside a mysterious structure, when a voice said

“You defeated Bomb Man? You’re just a kid. In fact, aren’t you Right’s pet? Anyway, I’m Elec Man, a guy who looks and acts kinda like you, but of course I have lightning symbols on me and…...Oh yeah, I can control electricity.”

“The name’s Fire Man, and I’m an torch with a passion…..to burn!

“Cut Man’s the name, slicing is my game! With the cutter on my head, I can slice anything!”

“I’m not an organ, I’m a bulldozer fella with muscles! Guts Man!”

“My time to shine! I’m Ice Man, but if you dare say I look like an eskimo…….”

The next second, all the Robot Masters fired at once, which Mega Man narrowly avoided. He was then shot by an electric beam, and was paralyzed. As he struggled to move, Guts Man struck him and threw him against the wall. Cut Man threw his cutter, but it missed but managed to cut off a few locks of Mega Man's hair.

“You needed a hair-cut! That was a good one! I crack myself up!"

“Shut up! I’m done with your puns! Next time, I'm using the Super Arm on you!” Guts Man stated, as he gave Cut Man a look of indignation.

“Wait! We’re all brothers! I don’t want to fight you! Let me ask you, does Dr. Wily treat you like tools or family?”

Guts Man blared “Dr. Wily is the greatest! Although he did call me nuts for brains….”

“He said it was stupid that I would wear an eskimo suit everywhere!”

"But he showed us what we can do! We would have never become this strong without him!"

The Robot Masters argued with each other on how Dr. Wily treated them. They took multiple votes, but it always ended half and half. Mega Man took this opportunity to slip undetected.

“How much longer do I have to go?”

A sudden voice came out of nowhere and wailed “Not much longer, my boy! Prepare for my greatest creation, the Yellow Devil!”
A gigantic blob of yellow came out of the floor and it formed into a creature that appeared more of a monster than anything else! In the middle of the blob formed an eye, and it blasted Mega Man with a powerful laser! The blob turned into 32 different pieces and rushed towards Mega Man. No matter how hard he tried, the Devil was too erratic and fast to be avoided. The Devil formed into it’s monstrous form once again. It smashed it's mighty fist against the ground, and threw him against the room.

The Devil hunched over Mega Man and charged up his laser. Mega Man closed his eyes and started regretting things he had done in life. The biggest regret he had was how his initial reaction towards Roll went. A flash of white came over Mega Man, but when he opened his eyes to see the damage the Devil caused to him and watch his reactor fail in front of him, there was nothing but remaining blobs of yellow.

“After a while, the vote became unanimous. We all decided that we were tools, but no longer! You’re lucky my Thunder Beam came in time.”

Mega Man saw his brothers behind him, and the gang of robots celebrated until a hovering capsule seem to have come out of nowhere. The capsule opened up and inside was Wily!

“I can’t believe it! I lost? If only I had used my time to make eight other, “perfected” robots! Wait a second…..”

Eight robots dropped down from the ceiling and glanced at the Light numbers.

“Gentleman, meet the seconds! Heat Man, Metal Man, Bubble Man, Wood Man, Air Man, Crash Man, Flash Man and their leader, whose name will spoil the surprise! Now, prepare to be scrapped and be used for nefarious purposes!”

“That was a pretty cool intro, but mine will blow yours up! Gentleman, meet the biggest boom ever, along with his new pals!

"Please don't waste my time..."

"You guys look kinda rusty. Want a little oil? Gotta keep it real, you know?"

Mega Man exclaimed “You! And who are these guys?!”





Constructive Criticism is appreciated. Keep in mind that this was for a newbie, so if you're complaining on why I described most characters, that doesn't exactly help. Sorry about repeating so many words :P

Basically, since all through out the internet, we've always competed to see who's the best! X VS Zero! Mega Man VS Bass! You pick a subject on two people to fight, and we(the community) put our input on it.

If there is any arguments on something, I will deal with it personally. Talk about who you want and why they would out-match opponents in a respectful manner. Also remember!

"Welcome to Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club! Third rule of Fight Club: someone yells "stop!", goes limp, taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas. Ok, not all of those rules apply to this situation, but whatever.

First idea, Bass or Mega Man? Which one is better?

Everybody, Adrian just sent me a message! A new character has been added! Adrian said there's a .0000001% chance of him appearing in a certain level. If you replay the met mission multiple times, you might find him. I know who it is, but can you find him? Trust me, it's worth it. He'll also be carrying code for the next update, in which you gain 500 bolts and a legendary heart tank! Good luck trying to find him! I know I'll try! Trust me, you'll know him when you see him.

P.S: By the way, the reason why it doesn't' say the game's been updated is because it was minor. He will be available until the end of next month! Good luck! Later I will reveal the character.....Try to find him!

Also, I decided to post this in general because it is a minor edit to the game. Nothing too big.

As I was going to send an email to some friends who wanted to get into Mega Man, I thought some new guys to Mega Man might need a introduction to the story.



Sometime unspecified, there were multiple attempts on creating something non-organic and somehow giving it real emotions and feelings. Many scientists throughout the globe attempted this project but it always ended up in failure. However one day, two doctors, with the names of Dr. Thomas Right and Dr. Albert Wily finally managed to create a machine with feelings and the appearance like that of a little boy. The young boy-like machine had lush brown hair and had an outfit completely out of blue. The decision to give the machine the appearance of a little boy came from the idea that it was non-complex to create, could serve as a basis for other robots and from Dr. Right’s inability to actually have children, due to his age. They decided to boot up the robot and see if the project would work out as planned. The sound of the Window’s startup screen appeared on the eyes of the robot, followed by blinking and finally a question. “Who am I?”. The doctors explained that he was the first of a new age of science. The doctor’s excitement about the young boy was of that of a child receiving a toy for Christmas. They then started working on the other robots they had planned to make. These new robots would have the title of “Robot Masters” for they were robots who could master any situation, even those normal humans couldn’t do. The young boy robot was to help with the construction of these new robots for his purpose was to assist Dr. Right and Dr. Wily in their laboratory. They give the robot the name of Rock, due to Right’s liking of the rock era of music. The first Robot Master created was Cut Man, who could made to chop down trees. The next was Guts Man, who was made for land reclamation and construction. Ice Man was next, created to perform human-like tasks under extreme climate conditions. Bomb Man was created after Ice Man, and was to work in conjunction with Guts Man. Fire Man was made after that, created for dispose of waste. Elec Man was then made for assistance for workers in electrical plants. Two others had their plans made, but Right thought that it would be better for them to be made at a later time. On December 17, Right was to unveil the new series of robots to the world. Rock was running around like a wild animal, trying to make sure the event didn’t go wrong. Dr. Wily stood in the shadows of the stage where they were to present the Robot Masters. He looked at the robots with an envious glare, jealous of the fact that he received little to no credit of the creation of the robots. The presentation went well besides the fact for when Dr. Right mixed up multiple of his words during the speech. The reporters bombarded Dr. Right with questions, mostly positive. Some were suspicious of the loyalty of the robots, but concluded that these robots couldn’t hurt a fly, unless their programming said so. That night, Dr. Right went to sleep believing today was a day well done. Rock kept himself up with questions about the robots. “It took me years for my programming to be safe. With new robots flying out of production, would these robots be as safe?”. However before he could answer himself, a loud clang echoed throughout the laboratory. “The robots!” screamed Dr. Right as hurried footsteps ran past Rock’s room. “Hurry Rock!” screamed Dr. Wily, from across the hallway. As Rock entered where the robots were stored, the Robot Masters were operational…..with Dr. Wily standing in the center. Suddenly, Rock was struck with a large electrical pulse and as he fell, he could see Dr. Wily gaze at him with hate. Everything blacked out for Rock until Dr. Right shook him with fear in his eyes. “Rock, he took them all!”. “Who?!” replied Rock. “Albert did! He attacked you and took hold of me! He said if he couldn’t get fame from good, then he’ll have to try it another way! I don’t know what could have possessed him to do this.”. Before Rock could process what had happened, the television turned on. “Hello everyone. I would like you to meet your new king. Me! If the United Nations don’t give me control over the world, I will declare war with my new army, and some of you will have dire consequences.”. Dr. Right simply covered his eyes, feeling guilt from making something that would cause the end of the world. “Nobody could save us now. Those robots have superhuman abilities. Even if the United Nations threw everything they had against the robots, they would still remained unscathed. Nobody could save us.”. “ Dr. Right, I could do it.”. Dr. Right looked at Rock alarmed. “You’re my son. I couldn’t throw you into war.”. Rock looked at him with determination and said “Everybody has to grow up sometime.”. Dr. Right looked at him once again and said” Fine. I’ll have to modify you though. Just promise me you’ll come back…..”




I know it's 20XX, but might as well add some mystery on their part or something. Just pretend or something. I don't know, eat a carrot or something.

Not only are the songs terrible, but very immature too. MegaBossMan doesn't want you guys to see this trash.
