Searchies have decided to micromanage Wily's facilities further, so they now come with a new variation that toggles on/off blocks. You can also make them spawn multiples times with the new Searchy Spawner. They even manage to puzzle Mega Man at the end... or do they?

I am at a loss for words to describe how happy I am once I saw this.

Firstly, Searchy Spawners and On/Off Searchys are what I'm very happy about. Now I can flip the fight around.
Secondly, Fire Wall Stopper. That's good. Not much to say about that.

Many keys require many doors. So to reduce the number of weirdly colored thresholds in your level, we have created the numbered key door! Life has many doors, but maybe you need just one?

So the announcements here haven't updated so I'll do it.

From yesterday:
Hey @everyone! If you paid close attention to our previous announcement, you'll have seen that 1.7 launches this month. Today, we'll tell you exactly when that will happen. Version 1.7 will launch on Sunday, January 10th. That's one week from now!

One day before the release, we'll also host a special livestream. In this stream, we will show 1.7's trailer one day early, as well as host a Q&A with the development team. The stream will start at 2PM EST / 8PM CET on Saturday, January 9th and will be hosted on my YouTube channel. Make sure to tune in if you want to see what 1.7 has in store early, and ask us questions about the update or anything else!

Like last update, we will also reveal one new thing about 1.7 every day until it releases (except on the stream day). Today, we bring you Bass's theme from Mega Man 7, courtesy of @SZ (Note: Musician). This new piece of music can play during a boss battle of your choice. Take a listen!

And today:

Hologran will turn off the lights when approached, defying the laws of physics by leaving interactable objects visible. Better create floating lemons from thin air to defeat it!
