This one is something has never been done before here. I sent a PM to Adrian to check if this is alright, stay on your toes to see what will happen.

NOTICE: This project will not happen anytime soon. It may happen, but it is on hold (or hiatus) 'till Adrian gives me the green light. The earliest the project will happen is after the next update. Thank you for your patience.

I'll give you a hint as to what this is. Just look back a few months ago. Then you already know. If you've been given a certain PM, than you can be sure what this is. Go ahead and post your ideas as to what this is.

That is what I said yesterday, now that it's time, I present to you MMRPG Survey volume 2! For missing out on Mega Man Music last time, all the categories have something to do with music.

The rules are the same from last time, just click here to see them. The deadline is 7/1/14*, so use that time well. Also, you don't have to worry about special rules on each category.

The Categories:
1. Favorite Classic Stage Music
2. Favorite X Stage Music
3. Favorite Boss Theme
4. Favorite Soundtrack
5. Favorite Music Related Name from Megaman (chosen by people who voted last time)
- Must be canon

Now go and vote!

*Due to some issues, the results will be delayed a lot later then I wanted -_- Please check back later for further notice.

THE SURVEY IS NOW OVER, DO NOT VOTE ANYMORE, AS THEY WON'T COUNT

proto-manI need to recount all the votes due to a badly organized vote counting system, it may take a few days before the results.

2011 A.D.

U.S. Rep. Lamar S. Smith presented a law called Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). This law would make sure that no copyrighted object would make it to the internet. At first, it seemed that this would be a good law, but it had a huge amount of drawbacks. This would mean nothing created by fans that was similar to another copyrighted object (such as this site). The law would change the internet as we knew it. So everyone revolted. Many people protested against the law, closed down sites, outright petitions were made just to stop this outrage. By 2012, the law was shut down. Much joy was to be had!

However, even the brightest days become dark at some time. 2 years later, the law demanded a rematch, leaving everyone only a little time to learn and come back, and by March 19th, the law would begin anew. Not everyone is aware about this, but it's time we strike with the limited time we have!

Dr. Retro Pikachu has seen what this law could do, and so have you. Join the revolt! Stop the outrage known as SOPA!!!

Get Your Weapons Ready

The Unofficial Advertising Station is closed, read on for reasoning

The reason I created this station was to make the Community a bit more lively. However, I realized that I had created a monstrosity that was SO MANY WEBSITES that aren't that, well, friendly... I am now ready to close the UAS since there are many other ways to make it more lively. Sorry...

From,
A very punching-himself-in-the-face-ish Pikachu...

Hopefully, I'll be able to find something else -_-'

Sometimes, you wonder why someone made their username this or that etc. Sometimes, the answer surprises everyone reading the reason. I'm interested in stuff like this, so what's you username origin. Feel free to comment on other people's reasons, just make it clear by going @[insert username here]. It's also okay to talk about previous usernames.

Here's Mine:

I first started out as leonchoi. It's pretty much my name, but slightly altered. Later, I changed to Pikachu2. I always loved pikachu, but "pikachu" is too bland, so I went with "pikachu2." THEN I changed it to accpikachu2, since even "pikachu2" is a bit bland as well. Finally, I recently changed it to Retro Pikachu considering that I really love Retro games (such as 8-bit or 16-bit), and putting in pikachu in there just sounded nice. So to sum up, I went from Leonchoi, to Pikachu2, to Accpikachu2, and finally, Retro Pikachu.

What's your's?

Wow guys, it's been 1 month and 1 week since I started the survey, and it went a lot better than I expected! Thank you guys who voted in the survey! Well, you guys have waited long enough, so let's see the results!!!!

FAVORITE ROBOT MASTER
Robot masters are probably one of the things that define the Mega Man series, get into the topic of Megaman, get into the topic of the Big Bad Bosses themselves!

3RD PLACE
Shadow Man!!!
Shadow man, the ninja robot master, teleported to third place with 3 votes and 4 Tiebreaker votes (against Sword Man!

2ND PLACE
Elec Man!!!
Elec Man, a robot master with some shocking abilities, bolts into second place with 4 votes!

And now, First Place goes too....
QUICK MAN!!!
Yes, Quick Man, the fastest robot ever made, races into first place with 5 Votes (Yes MegaBossMan, you can begin celebrating with whatever you'd like)!!!

FAVORITE CORE TYPES!!!
In MMRPG, Robots are classified in Core Types. Core types are a huge role on what abilities they can use, so let's check those top ones out!

3RD PLACE
Space type!!!
Space type, which is out of our world, meteored its way into third place with 3 votes and 2 tiebreaker votes (against Swift, Neutral, and Shadow Type)!

2ND PLACE
Swift type!!!
Swift type, the type that keeps us running, speeded into second place with 3 votes and 3 tiebreaker votes (guess three's a magic number after all)!!!

And now, First Place goes to...
Flame Type!!!
The Hot as fire Flame Type blazes into first place with 5 votes!!!

FAVORITE CLASSIC SERIES WEAPON!!!
Another famous part of the Mega Man games is the weapons. Its system of how weapons work is almost unmatched compared to other games. Which destructive, strategic, and unique weapons make the cut?

3RD PLACE
Black Hole Bomb!!!
The Black Hole Bomb, which summons black holes to overpower pretty much EVERYTHING, blasts into 3rd place with 3 votes, 1 tiebreaker vote, and 1 author vote*!!! (*Jewel Satellite had the same amount of votes, so I had to put in my own vote to decide third place).

2ND PLACE
Thunder Beam!!!
The Thunder Beam, a shockingly powerful laser beam, thunder strikes its way into 2nd place with 3 votes and 4 tiebreaker votes!!!

And now, first place goes to... wait, am I reading this right? *some scrambling later* Yep it's right, it's.....
Top Spin?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Top Spin, normally thought as the worst Classic Series Weapon, somehow spins its way into first place with 4 votes. I'm scratching my head how this happened, but I guess you guys thought that the top spin was an extremely underrated weapon!!!

FAVORITE ABILITES
Abilities are the attacks that your robot army can use, so they are pretty important in the game. Let's see what you guys think are the greatest!

3RD PLACE
Energy Swap!!!
Energy Swap turns the tables around so that robots with no energy are powered up to full, while the energetic robots are suddenly turn weary from a simple attack. Energy Swap get 3rd place with 2 votes, 1 tiebreaker vote, and 1 author vote!!!

2ND PLACE
Bass Baroque
Bass Baroque Annihilates opponents with dark energy. With 2 Votes and 2 tiebreaker votes, Bass Baroque gets into 2nd place!!!

And now, First Place goes to...
Shadow Blade!!!
The Shadow Blade does good damage and has a chance of lowering the opponents' power! Shadow Blade cuts into First Place with 3 Votes!!!

FAVORITE CLASSIC SERIES STAGES!!!
Stages in games are important to challenge the player and see if he/she is worthy of fight the boss. Which stages are the most fun?

3RD PLACE
Gravity Man's Stage!!!
Gravity Man's Stage, with the ability to shift gravity, makes some unique platforming back in the day, and with 3 votes and 1 tiebreaker vote, Gravity Man's Stage will enjoy basking in 3rd place!!!

2ND PLACE
Galaxy Man's Stage!!!
Galaxy Man's Stage, one of a few space stages in Mega Man Legacy, makes it into 2nd place with 3 votes and 2 tiebreaker votes!!!

And now, First Place goes to...
Flash Man's Stage!!!
Flash Man's Flashy Stage, a stage that some people like to take on first, gets into First Place with 3 Votes and 3 Tiebreaker Votes!!!

Well that's it folks, the survey of MMRPG (and Mega Man in general) is complete! I hope you enjoyed the survey, and see you later!!!

EDIT: If you couldn't tell, I'm interested in hearing other people's opinions, so if you want to give some criticism on how I did the survey, feel free to let me know in the comment section. Also, if enough people want it, I can put in some runner ups right here, but only if enough people want it (seriously, it took me about half an hour to put the whole thing together -_-').

The Voting is over, check in a second for the tie breakers!!!

Hello everyone!

NOTE: DEADLINE SHORTENED FROM 2/28/14 to 2/1/14

It's New Year's Day, which means that it is officially 2014! I decided to do a little survey, it involves Favorite Robot Master, Favorite Core Type, Favorite Classic Series Weapon, Favorite Abilities, and Favorite Classic Series Stages! The rules are simple:
You can vote for three entries in each category(even if you use 1 or 2 in one category).
You don't need to give a reasoning for each entry you put.
The deadline is 2/1/14, so you have about 2 months to decide.
There is at least one unique rule for each category, so be sure to read those as well.
If there is a tie for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, then there will be a quick, 2 week survey to decide the winners of the survey. THERE CAN ONLY BE THREE WINNERS IN EACH CATEGORY!

1 More Day Until The Deadline!!!

Favorite Robot Master:
1. Cannot Vote for Metal Man
2. To see a list of Robot Masters that you can vote for, see this link
3. Do not vote for Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass, Duo, Or King.

Favorite Core Type:
1. No Copy Core Type

Favorite Classic Series Weapon:
1. No Metal Blade
2. I'm talking about the platformers. The next category concerns this game.
3. Must be from Classic Series (No X, Zero, ZX, Legends, Battle Network, or Star Force).

Favorite Ability:
1. The ability must be usable. (no spark chaser, mirror buster, etc.)
2. No Copy Shot.

Favorite Classic Series Stages:
1. Must be from Classic Series (No X, Zero, ZX, Legends, Battle Network, or Star Force).

Here's the format to vote in:

Favorite Robot Master:
Cut Man, Guts Man, Bomb Man

Favorite Core Type:
Flame, Water, Neutral

Favorite Classic Series Weapon:
Charge Kick, Salt Water, Spark Chaser

Favorite Ability:
Ice Slasher, Attack Burn, Energy Swap

Favorite Classic Series Stage:
Metal Man, Dr. Wily Castle Stage 1 (MM2), Light Labs (MMPU)

I'm really looking forward to the results of this poll!

Notes:
The reason why I'm banning Metal Man and his Metal Blade is because it's too predictable to see them at first place.
The reason why Copy Core bots and Copy Shot is banned is because they are pretty much everything in one package.
Please respect one another's opinion.

Notices:
1/2/14: Wow, it's only been 2 days, and so many people have already voted! also, I'm now keeping the scoreboard classified, just for surprises' sake. If this upsets you, sorry.

1/8/14: Guess what? You can now vote for the Mega Man PC robot masters as well!

1/27/14: This is it guys, the last 5 days of the survey are on! Little bonus: IF I decide to do another survey (which is being considered), than anyone who votes can vote for the next categories of the next survey and ONLY the people who voted. Just a little bonus to encourage people for this survey...

1/31/14: THE FINAL DAY OF VOTING IS HERE!!!!

Big Bang Inc... "Trio" declared both his name and his company's name with an air of importance, as if those names were something a toddler would know. Indeed, reading the business card gave Retrop a feeling of familiarity, as if his past self had at least heard of them. And yet, the familiarity was refined into a feeling of unimportance, like an endangered species that had gone extinct. Whatever Retrop was sent here for, "Big Bang Inc." wasn't important to his mission. Still, the last thing Retrop needed was extra obstacles to the truth, so Retrop did his best to put on a polite greeting.

proto-man_electric It's good to meet you.

Retrop then absorbed the business card into his inventory... was he always able to do that? Retrop recalled finding a letter out of nowhere when he arrived outside the mansion. Storing small objects was an action that Retrop somehow knew how to unconsciously perform, like a human breathing in oxygen. Whatever it was, this odd ability wouldn't carry much and probably wouldn't have much use. The card would likely have to be discarded later to make space for this inventory.

Surprised by the giant's question, Retrop panicked a little. Should he reveal his lacking hand to the interrogator? No, it would be better to prevent his peers from gaining suspicion. It would be best to bluff with the information he had.

proto-man_electric Who am I? I'm Retrop. Like the rest of you, I was invited to this mansion by the brilliant Dr. Marceau.

proto-man_electric I suppose we'll be working together to solve our current predicament, as the good doctor has been kidnapped, and we've conveniently been given this experimental weaponry to rescue him.

Retrop, hoping to present himself as a confident, reliable asset to his fellow teammates, decided to try and rally up the purple titan.

proto-man_electric Of course, if you wish to back out of this potentially dangerous mission, I won't stop you~

Retrop made certain to emphasize the last part of that sentence with a tone of teasing. Hesitation meant weakness, and he didn't need to appear weak to his allies.

The robot.... at least, he was fairly certain he was a "robot", had woken up not more than 20 minutes ago next to an imposing mansion. In those 20 minutes, dozens of thoughts and questions had been processed. What time was it? Why was he here? What was his purpose? Before he could figure out the answer, he noticed several other robots showing a letter of invitation to a nearby scanner to enter the mansion. Guided by instinct, the robot lifted his right hand and discovered a letter with a familiar design.

Why should he follow the others? He doesn't know who they are. They don't know who he is. Heck, he barely knows who he is. And yet, as if fate itself had forged a map of where he was needed, the robot believed that this mansion carried the secrets of why he had appeared.

And so, the robot got himself to his feet and walked up to the gate, letter in hand. Mimicking the motions of those that arrived before him, he scanned the letter to the nearby reader.

"Name?"

The reader's mechanical drone had presented the robot with a question. A question that Retrop barely had an inkling of how to answer... wait, "Retrop?" In the second it took the robot to ponder his identity, a 6 letter string had been outputted in his mind. This little sliver of information had confirmed the robot's suspicions. Whoever, wherever, and whenever he was, this mansion had something to do with Retrop's true purpose.

After giving his name, settling down at a fancy table, and witnessing the abduction of a rather annoyed inventor, Retrop followed the doctor's words and checked under the table. A perfect fit, Retrop thought to himself as he fitted the Copy Arm on his right arm. He marveled at the intricate design of the weapon. His processors beated in glee. The Copy Arm, just like this mansion, had a strong connection to why he found himself awake here. Rescuing the doctor became secondary. The secrets of the mansion and the experiment on his arm? Retrop knew that these were the keys to the treasure chest of his past.

proto-man_electric The answers to my purpose are here... Let us begin.

Another anomaly occurs, and the metall avoids all of the attacks within the blink of an eye. The metall appears above his foes, having produced a propeller to begin flying, and starts lobbing... bombs?! But where did those bombs come from? It doesn't matter now, as the battlefield is covered in a flood of explosives heading straight towards the ground.

The Metall, annoyed at the consistency of the DOSbots' appearances, finally faces the bots head on with a flurry of buster shots.

met ....

One second, the metall is directly in the trajectory of the Hidden Missiles. The next, the metall is in a completely different location. This time, the metall fires a shot designed to make a lot of noise on impact with the force field.
