Another inspection, another drip sound. Seems to have happened just as the vault was being opened.

Chord is caught off guard, rolling backwards just a smidge too late to avoid the spikes and firing a spread of Buster Shots at Shu.

During a routine inspection, the noise of a drop of something hitting the floor can be heard... but upon further inspection, there's no dripping or puddles. Just in the clerk's head, maybe?

Chord reappears a fair distance from Shu, deploying a Shadow Buster shot at him!

Mighty suddenly jerks up off the floor and into a tense stance as if someone blew in his ear.

As the attack gets charged further, the purple starts even more visibly engulfing Chord before he... vanishes. What.

Chord stops leaning on the doorframe of an empty arena, backing inside to let Shu in. As he enters, Chord wastes no time in charging up an attack, which subtly covers him in tiny specks of dim purple energy exhaust.

Chord stares at the door to the ambulance Shu went into and is now presumably coming out of.
So, shall we?

Rouxls, Vyers and the entire battle system are dragged together with Narcian and Kempf.

MIDI once again fires at the Torpor.

The attack is now dodged. Hurray.

Rouxls looks disappointed.

Rouxls steps out from the team, then with a quick beckoning motion withdraws a strange, distinctly heart-shaped object from each of them.Somehow, they find themselves able to perceive the world both from their natural perspective and from the vantage point of their SOULs.An ethereal black box comes into existence around the SOULs, limiting their movement.Rouxls calls down a large rock slab to fall down at the SOULs!

...Kind of anticlimactic for it to be just one, but hey, he's just trying to help them get the hang of things.

Rouxls joins the pose by lying down in a "draweth me likest one of thy Frenche Ladies" pose in front of the two as sparks of elegance shine around the team.

Rouxls spends a very long time dusting himself off before finally responding to Narcian.

A giant pillar of blinding white darkness appears, but even it can't block the sound of a heavy wooden thud nor can it hide a Rouxls newly embedded in the floor after it recedes.

Rouxls dramatically walks up to the door, turning to the others on one heel.To avoid falling into the doorframe, Rouxls grabs onto Narcian's collar... making him fall in instead. Huh. You'd think there was some floor in front of the door. He hasn't yet regained his balance, so he grabs onto Kempf... pulling him in too. Only after Vyers ends up inside too does he realize he can just grab onto the doorframe.And so, pinching his nose closed, Rouxls jumps into the dark as well... As he reaches the boundary between one's form in the Light and Dark Worlds, a thin crust of stone forms over him which flakes off almost instantly.
