@QuintAnother : Yep, checks out.
(Just going to introduce my two new character slots- and my variant slot- while my ideas on how I'm going to introduce them are still fresh in my mind.)
(Responding to Page 125, Post #16)

The Skies

Beta Shadow hovers closer to Dord to finally answer his question.

Well, to summarize, Trio was previously a dangerous threat back in a realm known as the Absurd Roleplay.

He had originally came from another world- Universe MM-101 if I remember correctly- to spread chaos across the Omniverse, and he used Evil Energy to recruit many people on his side. His influence was even strong enough to corrupt his world's Duo, and that guy's the anti-thesis of Evil Energy. Which, as you can guess, is pretty bad. ...But, also impressive, I'll admit.

Many heroes who were in that world tried to stop him. Even I tried to stop him. Result? A monkey gave me blunt force trauma. I got better, though.

...But in the end, Trio proved himself too powerful for us to stop... and destroyed the entire Omniverse.

...Actually, I wouldn't put it like that...

What really happened was a consequence of Trio opening so many Omniholes- called "Memeholes" at the time- and having so many villains cross through them at the same time, throughout different parts of the Multi-Omniverse. The amount of strain that was placed on reality was too much for our Omniverse to hold.

...Which, come to think of it, is kinda impressive considering how frequently this Omniverse bends the laws of Time and Space, especially nowadays.

In any case, it took the power of the Trio of Origin- Shaggy, Robbie, and Matt- to undo all of Trio's damage and restore the Omniverse... And at the same time, they deemed the Absurd Roleplay too dangerous of a universe to remain, so they chose not to restore it, so that it may not spread any more trouble.

...However, it didn't quite work like that. Trio managed to retain his memories and tried to bring it back... but all it did was turned the Absurd Roleplay's universe into a void, a world neither dead nor alive, with remnants that remained dormant until a world could be found that matched its nature. A world that didn't exist...

...until one day, when the Chaos Zone was born. And with it, many of the Absurd Roleplay's remnants came to this world...

...including the one who caused it to fall into ruin.

Since then- and by that I mean after a few incidents involving a powerful form of my evil doppelganger*, a robot monarch who tried to bring back said doppelganger not too long after we killed him**, a demon who tried to fight the literal god of all gods***, and a demonic version of Mr. Video Games himself****- we have been making preparations to fight Trio and his underlings.
Considering what happened in this world, though, you probably won't have to worry about Trio.

Reggae and Banetem can be seen trailing behind the group, the latter on the former's back since he can't fly.

I don't think it'd do any good to tell them that the guy they're literally training to beat is part of the team.
You guys do realize you're talking out loud, right?
...Rrrrrrrrrrright.

Now, as we were saying...

@QuintAnother : I'm afraid after calculating the amount of Crown Coins you'd need for all the extra zenny you also needed, you do not have enough Crown Coins for all the Crown Coin stuff you need.

Also, you can only have one skill active at a time, so for Paradox Man and Worker (which I should mention that you only revealed to me in a DM, so literally only you and I know who Worker even is), you'll have to choose which skill you want active when they enter, and may only switch between them when they respawn or switch with another unit.

Also, for the record, you never needed to actually hold the EX Modules for them to be active.

If you mean that dm then refer to the bug reports, and also for sake of clarity. Please don't call them texts?

marketing tactics has already noticed, but I have gave everyone their Zenny, Crown Coins, and EXP from the previous raid.

Also, I have decided to make the following changes to make it easier for everyone to level up (since that's been happening at a snail's pace recently):

- Everyone who isn't already Level 41 (like Brash Buster) will become that level, since once they decide to come back (if they ever do) they'd end up being way behind everyone else
- Everyone's EXP count will be reverted to 0.
- The new EXP cap for Level 41 will be 1000, and will increase by 100 with each new level.
- Every newcomer from this point forward will start with a 1000 EXP cap, with the cap increasing by 100 with each new level.

Also, one last thing: Earlier, the Character Sheets were tampered with by a banned user, so I migrated everything into new sheets, hoping this would keep them out.

It did not.

So for now on, only I will be allowed to edit the sheets. I didn't want to do this (I am too busy with school work, and even on my downtime, I am always too lazy to edit the sheets by myself), but at this point there is nothing else that can be done.

@ShyOne9117 : Yes.
Well, no better time for introductions than now. Let's take it from the top!

Yo, dudes, the name's Kappa Whirlpool. It's totally tubular to meet you guys.
My name is Iota Forest, and... I'm sorry, did he really just say "tubular"?
The name's Zeta Light! A pleasure to meet you all.
I'm Digamma Bolt! I think we'll get along great!
Epsilon Snow's the name, freezing's my game! Which, thumbs up for that finishing ice move, by the way.
Alpha Fire. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance.
They call me Eta Cosmic, hero of the cosmos. It's as much of an honor to meet you all as I am sure it is an honor for you to meet me.
Greetings, everyone. I am known as Delta Paradox.
And last but not least, yours truly...
...I am Beta Shadow! And together, we're...

*Cough*
Oh, yeah. We also invited a few of our associates. They'll be here eventually, but for now, it's just us... And him. For worse or slightly less worse.

So, what brings you to our humble alternate reality, anyways? Did Supremo send you to "test us" or something?
Nah. Actually, we're moreso here to help ourselves; Helping you guys is just a bonus.

Well, my chicken-beaked frog friend, in our world, we are soon to face off against a mighty foe: the fearsome Trio, destroyer of the Omniverse!
*Ahem* "Soon" being a relative term for, "we don't even know where he is yet."

Reggae puts a wing on Banetem's beak and shakes his head, signifying to not speak any further on the matter.

And during a... particular incident, I met up with Supremo, and we talked about where he came from. One thing led to another, and I learned about you guys.
It was then that I figured that you guys would probably make for some good sparring partners, and could help us grow stronger.
And in return, fighting us could make you guys stronger. You know, for when that Alloy King guy comes back.
If you're interested, get yourselves ready and meet us at the Rocky Plateau. We'll be waiting!

Beta Team (+1) hovers into the air and flies off to Rocky Plateau.
...Before you guys start shopping, I'd like to announce something new...

Introducing: Variants!

Variants are similar to Character Slots; However, they act as an "alternate take" of one of your existing characters.

Variants will follow these rules:
1. They must share the same number of weapon slots, upgrades, skills, etc. as the character they are a variant of. They also must hold the same hold items.
2. If the variant is in a boss raid or a sidestory, the character that they are a variant of cannot be used, and vice versa.
3. If switching between variants of the same character, the character will still have the same percentage of HP and WE they had before switching between variants.

Variant slots will be in the Training & Weapons Shop for 1250 Zenny (250 less than a proper character slot). However, in honor of its introduction into TTC (as well as in honor of the anniversary raid), I will be giving away ONE FREE Variant slot per player, but ONLY if you use it before the raid begins.

As for my first Variant (one of FEHta Shadow, seen above), I will introduce them in a future post.

Reggae de-fuses from Dord and high-fives Banetem.

Great job, team! We beat them!
Really? Because it kinda feels like a cop-out.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure that's how most of these raids end.

Jazz Hunter finishes freeing the prisoners.

Not to mention that their King escaped with plans to return with greater numbers.
Eh, I'm not too worried about it.

Woo! Way to go, everyone! Glad we made it to see the ending!

Reggae and the others turn to the source of the voice.

So much for a low profile... Are you sure these are the guys we're looking for?
They certainly fit the description Supremo gave me, so I'd say so.

(Is that...?)

The winner is Me!

And I'm going to be honest with you: I was almost hoping to be the winner of next month's raid. Why? Well, the month after next is April, and...

...So, yes; Next month is TTC's anniversary month, and I wanted to make the anniversary boss...

...and I still will. It'll just be a month early since I'm not too confident in my ability to win if I wasn't raid boss. Also, this means that April's raid boss can be a funny haha April Fool's one. ...Or, you know, whoever the person that wins the March raid wants it to be.

And don't worry; It won't start right away. I just plan on introducing the raid boss early on... though some may be able to make an assumption of who it will be.

(Huh. I guess we're still going until the actual end of the month.)
(...I also guess we won't get to kick the King's butt after all... Well, unless ch4s3's saving it for the very last day or something. A big shame, really. Was really looking forward to sending this big nerd into next week.)
(...Well, not that I'd be the one doing it, anyways.)

Banetem prepares a Thunder Punch + Brave Bird Fusion Move on Alloy Yellow.
Suddenly, a head appears next to Magolor, seemingly from out of thin air... though, in truth, it is actually from under an invisibility cloak.

(Psst. Need a little help getting out?)

Lavender Town

As Techno suddenly dances in the background, Jazz blocks the attacks with a Jazz Barrier +.

The Omni-King...? Well, you can forget it. Even if we knew where he is- which we don't, mind you- we wouldn't let you anywhere near him!
And don't expect us to tell you who it is, either! Right, Techno?

The two finally notice Techno acting... unusual.

(...What's going on with him?)
(It must be that other creature's power... We should be careful, these guys may have many more tricks up their sleeve!)

Orchestra nods, before flinging Metal Blades at Misfortune! Jazz fires off more Jazz Beams, hoping to give Misfortune less room to dodge!
(Cont. from Page 106, Post #16 )

Ruin Wood
December 5th, 2022

As the bout between the two hedgehogs press on, neither one seem to show any signs of wearing out.

Eventually, Sonic knocks Scourge into a tree.

I'm just gonna give you one last chance to give it up; I ain't slowing down anytime soon!
...Heh... Heheheheh... Heheheheh, hahahahahaha...!

Scourge stands back up before reaching for something in his jacket's pocket...

Oh, trust me, Blue...

...until he pulls out a small, green gemstone and holds it in the air triumphantly.

I'm just getting WARMED UP!
What the...? What the heck is that?
Be careful, Sonic! That gem may look small, but the Miles Electric's getting major energy readings from it!
I'd listen to your geeky little fox friend, if I were you! And as for the rest of you, you'd better stand back...

Suddenly, a powerful aura erupts around Scourge!

...Because I'm about to cut loose!

Scourge continues to power up, until...!

〈No way...! It can't be!〉
Impossible... From just one gem!?

Hahahahaha... You should see the looks on your faces! Believe it, losers. You are witnessing the TRUE power of a king...
Say hello to Super Scourge!
Jazz Barrier (RECAP) - (Laser/Shield) A holographic shield based off of Proto Man's shield, designed to absorb energy-based projectiles. It's also good for nullifying more physical attacks and projectiles.
+ Variant - Rather than a simple shield, the barrier appears as, well, an actual barrier. Every attack absorbed by the barrier now goes into increasing Jazz's Attack stat. Additionally, the barrier is far more durable than its original counterpart.

Anarchy Beryl (RECAP) - (Chaos/Shadow) The Moebian equivalent of a Chaos Emerald. They are more plentiful than Chaos Emeralds, and a single one is (assumably) equal in power to all seven Chaos Emeralds. The drawback, however... Well, that will become relevant in time.

Pokemon Tower - F7

(Heh... Looks like this win's in the bag! This rotting old geezer's got nothing on my hot bars!)

Suddenly, a presence lurks behind BF...

(Yes... Keep rapping, boy... Keep yourself unaware of my Gengar looming right behind you...)

Suddenly, a Gengar appears from BF's shadow, preparing a Shadow Claw...

...Only for it to be blocked!

Huh!?
What the...!?

A boney scythe pushes away the Shadow Claw as the weilder of the weapon looks behind himself.

...So, you're the one causing a ruckus up here. Somehow, I should've known...
〈How do you know... Wait, are you...?〉

Missingno. looks back at the Gengar.

Just focus on your rap battle, kid... I'll handle the interlopers.
Doppler Labs

As Coda Military is struck by Dyna's hook, it is the Tuning Trident that lands the finishing blow.

...H-heh... You know... Between myself, Yodh****, and Shogun****, I was always considered the weakest... And yet, it was I who lasted longest out of the three of us.
...So when I see them in Hell... I can tell them to BITE IT.

Military Coda shuts down completely.
As CRORQ NEO is assaulted by the two Aeons' attacks, it gets poisoned by the PK Miasma... Only to activate a Healing Subroutine before attempting to blind everyone with a Bright Burst!
Wind Slasher - (Wind/Cutter) The user swings a blade at the air to cause sharp wind projectiles to fly towards their target. Ignores any increases in Defense apart from shields.

Jazz Beam (RECAP) - A strong laser beam that bounces off of walls and other similar surfaces. Can be altered into any elemental core type.

Healing Subroutine - (Recovery) Uses a program to fully recover from any status effect. Can only recover one status at a time, and cannot recover health or stats.
*Page 92, Post #13
** The Forgotten Land plotline is actually one between me and Brash; Involvement of other people is left relatively uncertain, though it may likely remain just the two of us.
***I'll just say this for sake of clarity... The appearance of this character in Lavender Town is not as it seems.
****Referring to other Nexus Link Dimension robots; Coda Shogun first appeared in Part II, Page #68, Post #10 while Coda Yodh first appeared in Part II, Page #81, Post #20.

|P| Beta Shadow's House

Right. I think we've spent enough time discussing; It's time to begin the hunt for Trio.
Wait! I still have one more question!
What is it, Eta?
...If you relieved Upsilon of his narration duties... What happens to Pi?
Well, I've actually been keeping in contact with Supremo and my Discord and Practice RP counterparts, and we're still discussing what to do with him. Though, we've already decided that he isn't going to be our plot protector anymore.
Well, then who is?
That's the thing... Say, Delta, when was the last time we needed plot protection?
Well, anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time the "plot police" ever got involved in anything- at least when it comes to keeping a plot in order- was September 17th of last year*.
Huh, a bit closer to now than I originally thought...
...Still, I honestly feel like we're at a point where we- or at least us personally- do not need a "plot police" anymore.
Wait, really? Are you sure that's the best decision?
Well, I feel like this community has grown plenty since Chaos Zone started, and especially moreso when we first had roleplays in this community. Even the past... "troublemakers"... seem to have become more respectable towards the plotlines of others.
Hmm... Well, you may say that, but... I'm not entirely so certain.
|P?|** Let's say that, for example, something important is happening right now... Something that, based off of the events of pre-existing media, requires a certain someone.

A figure riding a big star can be seen trying to avoid being sucked into the rifts as well, only for a tree to come by and strike the figure off the star, causing them to fly into the rift.

...And yet, at the same time, them simply being there creates a conflict of interest for a different plotline.
I see...

Beta Shadow takes a long sip out of a Dr. Pepper.

...Like, really long.

...Probably longer than how much should even be in there.

...That's a very specific example, but I don't think we have anything to worry about. It's like I said, this community has grown respectful of each other's plotlines...
...I'm sure things will find a way to work themselves out.

A figure riding a big star hovers over Lavender Town, curious about whatever may be going on down there...

*** ...?
Intruders? If anything, you are the ones intruding on this peaceful-

Jazz pauses, looks over to the Pokemon Tower, then looks back at Misfortune.

...this relatively peaceful town.
And nevermind what your plans are, just know that we are here to stop them!

Orchestra swings his blade at the air, causing razor-sharp winds to blow at Misfortune as Jazz fires Light-Core Jazz Beams at them.

...So, I guess I should go after the chimpmunk, then...?

Techno's question is ignored as the other two focus on Misfortune.

...Uh, ok...?

Techno moves aside to confront Silly.TIFF.

...So, uh... Probably a bit out-of-the-blue, but uh... What can you even do...?

Drench Man looks up from a newspaper he's reading to see the hole in the wall.

...Yep. Seems like it's time to do my job.

Drench Man goes into a supply closet and comes out with what appears to be a spare buster from Concrete Man. Whether this was borrowed, stolen, or given to him is anyone's guess. In any case, he uses this spare buster to fill the hole with cement.

("Save us! Help us!" Gee, I wonder how many cries of that variety these guys have just plain ignored for the sake of "loyalty to the king". I'm still not buying this sudden "redeemable villain" schtick. I can just a tiiiiiiny bit for Zalgo, but these guys?)
(And with these guys, no one can really say "oh, they're just robots, they're just following their programming", because then what of their King? He's an alloy, too, right? So clearly these guys have free will, they just decide to use it worshipping a big dingus like him.)
(Hey, I get it; I used to be one of the old dingbat's robots. Wasn't even a fighting robot, I was- ...Well, I guess I was kinda just. There?)
(But it didn't take me some big jerk moment from the doc to turn me from bad egg to speedy censor bot and cool hero who sometimes merges with a kid with post-apocalypse mental issues; I did that on my own. I needed no push, it was simply my choice. And what they did was their choice. And now what choice do they have left? Where is their free will now?)

Banetem strikes Alloy Yellow with a Double Kick, then goes Mid-Air for a Bounce aimed for Alloy Blue.

(...Is anyone even hearing me right now? Is this internal monologue?)

Yes. Yes it is.

...I'm just going to say it: I don't really feel sorry for these guys.
I mean, yeah, the King Alloy saying "let them die, I don't care" is a jerk move, but none of that really excuses their whole... them.

Reggae uses 4th-D Slip to avoid whatever attack may be aimed towards him. He also sets up a Speedy Phase-Out.

I mean, honestly? These other four dudes are kinda jerks, too.

Reggae then turns to Dord.

...Anyways... Hey, Dord, wanna clown on these guys for ol' times sake?

Reggae offers a Reggae Overdrive to Dord. Meanwhile, Banetem sips a Small Coffee.
