Unfortunately, no. Ring Ring took up the Knight of Swords' spot. He is free to join the spectators, though.

The ACT options are indeed the same. It's the same for Crash Course as well.

And then, the same voice that spoke to the Knight of Swords speaks out again...

Both party members have no available team slot. As such, you are incapable of joining the battle!

Once more, the voice has no known origin, but it seems like Letter L's team is incapable of interacting with the battle... Looks like they're forced to be spectators.

Collateral Aeon* and Zeta Light worked together to disable the explosives of the Explosive Trio!
The explosives couldn't be fully disabled, but the trio's Attack lowered for the turn!

Bomber Man begun throwing Hyper Bombs of which explodes in a Bomberman pattern, targeting Mettaur!

* This isn't exactly me "controlling the character", just describing the effects of Collateral Aeon's actions when he chose X-Disable. Just to clear things out a bit before anyone gets the wrong idea.

Fortunately for Winston and the Memesmith, it didn't take long to find Beta, Delta, and Alpha.

Having the capabilities of launching actual nuclear bombs, he is dubbed the leader of this rag-tag group of dangerous explosive-bearing robots.

(The Knight of Swords is free to join the battle whenever he wishes. I hope you understand the Deltarune battle system, Dream Weaver, because that's what's being referenced/used to an extent here.)

The Knight of Swords is blocked off by a seemingly invisible force field. However, looking up, the force field has the word "PLOT" written in bold, white letters.

A voice then booms out:

You must wait for the others in order to confront the Boss Battle.

The voice is incredibly loud, but doesn't seem to have any form of origin. However, it seems the barrier won't go away until Collateral Aeon and Zeta Light catches up.

Beta Shadow grabs Salt's arm before he could smash the shield.

He's on OUR side, Fights McGee. Unless, of course, you don't actually CARE that the entire Omniverse is going to be destroyed unless we focus on what ACTUALLY needs to be done.

Beta Shadow tosses Salt's arm back to Salt's side and turns to Delta Paradox and Alpha Fire.

Come on, guys. Let's go see if we can't ask for directions to the Meme Zone™ from the areas ahead of here.

Beta Shadow, Delta Paradox, and Alpha Fire moves forwards.
Unfortunately, the Mettal already took the last remaining spot for the battle system, so the Knight of Swords will have to fight a separate group of Killer Bullets by himself. But hey, that's more of those to be dealt with.

Hm, let's see... I've done Beta Man, Ninja Man, Sergeant Man, Epsilon, and Ninja Man Z, with Bt Ghost and Beta Man Z are assist trophies...

Alright, I think I know what my next step is.

Beta Shadow(/Omega Element)

Archetype: All-Round

Moveset

Jab: Punch, Punch, Kick
Up Tilt: Upwards Kick
Down Tilt: Stomp
Forward Tilt: Knee
Dash Attack: Charges Forwards with a Knee.

Forward Smash: Kick
Down Smash: Punches the ground, causing rubble to rise from the ground.
Up Smash: Backflip

Neutral Aerial: Spin
Forward Aerial: Forwards Dropkick (I guess)
Back Aerial: Backwards Chop
Down Aerial: Foot Dive
Up Aerial: Upwards Headbutt

Grab: Grabs the foe by the "collar" with one hand.
Pummel: Slaps foes to the face.
Up Throw: Tosses the foe into the air.
Down Throw: Slams the foe into the ground and smashes them with both hands.
Forward Throw: Drops the foe and quickly follows up with a heavy punt.
Back Throw: Tosses the foe backwards, then fires an energy blast back.

Normal Special: Element Ball- Launches a ball of elemental energy that varies in colors based on the MMRPG types, but doesn't change in effect.
Forward Special: Obsidian-Tipped Diamond Sword- Dashes forwards with his obsidian-tipped Diamond Sword, swiping at foes with a good amount of armor piercing. Of course, the tip of the blade is the sweet spot.
Down Special: Explosive Barrel- Places down an explosive barrel that explodes when hit. Beta Shadow can place down 3 at a time.
Up Special: Warp- Beta Shadow simply warps from one point to another, evading damage.

Final Smash: Ka Ka Kachi Daze- Beta Shadow transforms into Full Release Shadow (Omega Destruction as Omega Element) and proceeds to rapidly beat up the nearest opponent in front of him before releasing a powerful beam of energy to finish off the opponent, as well as dealing a large amount of damage to anyone who happens to be in the way.

Taunts
Up Taunt: Beta Shadow fist-pumps the air. "Yeah!"
Side Taunt: Raises a peace sign to the screen.
Down Taunt: Drinks a can of Dr. Pepper.

Victory
Animation 1: Slowly gets out of a meditation position before releasing energy. "I didn't even use 1% of my power..."/"I may be the Omega, but I am still the first."
Animation 2: Tosses his obsidian-tipped Diamond Sword into the air and catches it before raising it to the air.
Animation 3: Stands crossed-armed and eyes closed next to a podium, before opening his eyes to look at the screen. As Beta Shadow, the podium holds a poster for Little Papa Beta's. As Omega Element, the podium instead holds a desaturated Beta and Mega comic book. "You underestimate the power of the memes."/"Is that all you've got?"
