I am here to announce... Fire Man: Ashes of Righteousness

Story: Dr. Light Number 007, also called Fire Man, has clai- wait, what are you doing? DON'T TOUCH THA-
fire-man Sorry 'bout that folks, but the Flames of Justice are the only ones worth recounting my adventure! The dastardly villainy of Dr. Wily's top troops sends a chill down my spine like no other, so I have declared RED-HOT WAR on these do-no-gooders. What they have in nasty tricks, however, cannot counter my new heated copy buster! Evil Beware, the Flames of Justice are determined to burn you to ashes! FIRE!

Robot Masters:
tomahawk-man Tomahawk Man Weak to Heat Satellite.
crash-man Crash Man Weak to Silver Smoke.
wind-man Wind Man Weak to Engulfing Bomber.
strike-man Strike Man Weak to Power Flames.
bubble-man Bubble Man Weak to Ember Cannon.
needle-man Needle Man Weak to Impact Cinder.
star-man Star Man Weak to Combustion Lead.
stone-man Stone Man Weak to Red Cyclone.

Weapons:
Fire Man starts the game with the Fire Storm, but it functions a little bit differently. Rather than having a flame act as a shield for Fire Man, the 2nd flame circles the 1st Flame being shot, in essence giving you two shots, but only 1 is guaranteed.
Upon defeating a robot master, Fire Man gains a re-themed but similarly functioning weapon.
Tomahawk Man : Silver Smoke : Less Damage, but more Ammo. 2 on screen at once.
Crash Man : Engulfing Bomber : On non major enemies, always 1HKO.
Wind Man : Red Cyclone : Does not carry enemies, just deals damage.
Strike Man : Impact Cinder : Starts slow, but speeds up.
Bubble Man : Combustion Lead : Can now crawl walls.
Needle Man : Ember Cannon : Does not go though walls.
Star Man : Heat Satellite : More Ammo.
Stone Man : Power Flames : The Power Flames rotate in a tighter arc, taking longer to fly off screen.

Wily Castle:
Wily 1: Brain Crusher No Weakness (Due to Attack Pattern)
Wily 2: Giant Suzy Weak to Engulfing Bomber.
Wily 3: Metall Daddy Weak to Combustion Lead.
Wily 4: Heat Man + Turbo Man Weak to Red Cyclone.
Wily 5: Wily Machine 5 Weak to Impact Cinder.

fire-man With evil fended off, justice can rest, but not slumber. Wily may never end his ways, but I am happy to be a red-hot tool of righteousness! FIRE!

@Bt Man : This may sound a little weird, but hear me out. In MM8, Tengu Man was weak to Ice Wave, a slow(ish) gravity based weapon (it travels floors). In MM&B, Tengu Man was weak to Spread Drill, a slow(ish) gravity based weapon (it eventually falls). The only weapon that fits this description is... Water Balloon, oddly enough. It would seem weird having 3 robots weak to Water Balloon, but the weapon is kinda bad anyway, so maybe that could be a way to balance. As for what to do with Quick Boomerang, his previous weakness... maybe give it to Needle Man and/or Aqua Man as secondary weaknesses?

Also, I see someone is a fan of Roahm's Revenge series/joke/league of villains. Nice picks.

@megaprotobassman : In the current prototype, costumes are not available. However, in the beta version, they are. You must use every robot master 100 times to unlock a new costume. Roll, Disco, and Rhythm are exceptions, as they get a new costume every 50 uses. To actually equip the costume, you must enter the robot editor. Below the robot master's head shot in the top left is an image of the robot master and how many times he has been used. Just click the robot master to cycle through the costumes.

1. What was your introduction to the Mega Man franchise?
2. I recall you saying you always imagined Quick Man as a rival of sorts due to the difficulty of his stage and fight. Have you made any similar "rivalries" with other robot masters?
3. Are you happy with how much time you have spent in the Prototype?
4. Have you ever actually been a BOSS of a real life job/project/plan?

@DaCrashBomber : Uh, hate burst your bubble Crash, but that button does exist, along with a shuffle button. They are right below the 8th mission, going from up left to bottom right.

K = H
h = e
o = l
r = o

The beginning to sentences are "Hello? Hello?"

I think
d = i
s = a

Ya' know what? This forum has had a lot of great game ideas following the original Mega Man formula, and there really isn't anything wrong with that, but how about we introduce something new? Using the original Mega Man Zero and some small inspiration from the Metroidvania genre, we have...

Mega Man: Fight for Peace

Rather than having a traditional level select, Mega Man: Fight for Peace lets you explore the various areas of Mega City where certain robot masters have taken over. In each area, you can find 3 robot masters to fight. To take on Wily, however, you only need to destroy 12 robot masters. If you want to fight the others and gain their weapons, however, you can still search for them. Speaking of weapons, Mega Man can only hold 1 weapon gained from each area. However, the data of the other weapons can be stored at Dr. Lights lab, allowing you to swap the abilities once you have beaten the boss. This is enough for mechanics, though. Let's meet our contestants!

Area 1: Industrial Factory
metal-man Metal Man Weak to Cutter Weapons.
magnet-man Magnet Man Weak to Electric Weapons.
plug-man Plug Man Weak to Boomerang Weapons.

Area 2: Weather Institute
ice-man Ice Man Weak to Electric Weapons.
(Sprite unavailable) Cloud Man Weak to Explode and Wind Weapons.
(Sprite Unavailable) Tornado Man Weak to Ice Weapons and Homing.

Area 3: Fuel Catacombs
oil-man Oil Man Weak to Flame Weapons.
drill-man Drill Man Weak to Water Weapons.
flame-man Flame Man Weak to Wind Weapons.

Area 4: Crazy Castles
knight-man Knight Man Weak to Boomerang Weapons.
(Sprite unavailable) Shade Man Weak to Shield and Screen Weapons.
(Sprite unavailable) Blade Man Weak to Earth Weapons.

Area 5: Hydraulic System
bubble-man Bubble Man Weak to Cutter Weapons.
wave-man Wave Man Weak to Shadow Weapons.
(Sprite unavailable) Centaur Man Weak to Impact and Shield Weapons.

Area 6: Orbiting Observatory
ring-man Ring Man Weak to Flame Weapons.
star-man Star Man Weak to Water Weapons.
galaxy-man Galaxy Man Weak to Homing and Ice Weapons

Area 7: Power Plant
spark-man Spark Man Weak to Shadow Weapons.
wind-man Wind Man Weak to Screen Weapons.
(Sprite unavailable) Solar Man Weak to Water Weapons.

Area 8: Volcanic Vortex
shadow-man Shadow Man Weak to Homing and Screen Weapons.
stone-man Stone Man Weak to Explode Weapons.
(Sprite unavailable) Magma Man Weak to Wind and Shield Weapons.

With the selected robots now defeated, it is time to invade Wily's fortress.
Wily 1: Buster Rod G: Weak to Water Weapons, Mega Water S: Weak to Wind Weapons, and Hyper Storm H: Weak to Impact Weapons.
Wily 2: proto-manProto Man?: Weak to Explode and Flame Boomerang Weapons.
Wily 3: Enemy Gauntlet: Weaknesses Vary
Wily 4: Wily Machine 4 Version 2.0: Weak to Ice and Shadow Weapons.
Wily 5: Wily Armor: Weak to Electric Weapons.

To Shadow... the Nico.

1. You've been here since January 1st, 2013. Are you happy with the overall changes in the game/community?
2. Do you make any plans to climb back up the leaderboard soon, or are you comfortable where you are?
3. Cats or Dogs?
4. What would you say is your most enjoyed not-Mega Man series?
5. Have you ever heard Wishbone Ash's "Throw Down the Sword", and if so, what do you think of it?

2. How did you get so intelligent?
3. How did you get so courageous?
4. How did you get so humorous?
5. Most importantly, how did you get so humble?

@Meta : Well, I tried to hold you off, Meta, but your perseverance has worn me down. I even made it to 800 billion (1st to get there yay) to discourage your grinding, but this has not worked. I concede defeat. It's up to BAWZ to deal with you now.

A gift for you.

I would like to join, but would this thread maybe be better in the general thread? Both the RP and General are chocked full of threads, but maybe general is more fitting? Anyway, I give you fair warning: I suck and am a complete embarrassment good at competitive battling.

Almost forgot, my User is Tobyjoey.

gravity-man The results are clear; this was a great success! Thank you again for the help, fellow heroes. I have not yet made your acquaintances, however. What are your names and stories?

gravity-man It's a shame I cannot examine any of your core- *Peng performs attack previously mentioned that misses Gravity Man* - but you seem to only desire slaughter. So be it!
Gravity Man uses Electric Shot on Peng.

yamato-man A first step near done,
How will this path continue?
Time will soon reveal.

Yamato Man uses Buster Shot on Spine.

yamato-man Beginning a quest,
our opponents lack honor,
The beetle dies first.

Yamato Man uses Cutter Shot on the Beetle Borg.

gravity-man On only the first encounter, these enemies display signs of Star Force delivered enhancements. Those pesky Fleas always seem to be hopping about, so let's eliminate that variable first.
Gravity Man uses Electric Shot on the Flea.
