@GammaGhost : No. You obtain starting abilities and weapons based on Core types and boons.

For example, Vat Man's Abilities and Weapons would be:

Water Expert (Water Core) Range +1 (No Boon)
Water Shot (Water Core) Nature Shot (Nature Subcore) Bubble Spray (Water Core) Buster Charge (All players receive this at Level 2) Water Buster (Water Core, Level 2) Experience Boost (No Boon, Level 3)

In any case, your characters should be good to go. Any place you'd like to go to first (once I add your characters to the Players Database)?

oil-man What do I expect to gain? Heh. I don’t expect to gain anything but satisfaction. And even if there WAS something to gain from revenge, who cares? This world’s gonna die, anyways, so what would it matter if there IS anything to gain if we’re just gonna lose it all, anyways.
oil-man The way I see it, if this world and everyone in it is going to die eventually, I’d rather die fighting. Killing. DESTROYING. (Between you and me, my “friends” will be the next to go.)
oil-man And if he honestly thinks I’m letting some dumb-looking fish-finned bot get away with livin’ like that? He’s got another thing comin’! And YOU won’t be getting in my way!
oil-man ...That being said, thank you. You DO have a point... Why SHOULD I just wait for them to come back, when, after I’m done with you, I could just go out and find that Bass model myself! In fact, while I’m at it...
Why not just burn down his entire hometown, and kill everyone in it! But first, to make YOU burn!
Yeah, right. I’d like to see them try to-
...What...

WHAT!?

That fireball just... Used FIRE STORM...
...And it did 21 DAMAGE!? WHAT!?

THAT IS ABSOLUTE BULLSH**! There’s NO WAY a tiny a** flame like that could do so much damage! WHAT IS THIS!?

And now Viking MKII is dead. GREAT. Now you lose HALF your items, HALF your bolts, and get booted out. All because the “partner” robot died. Over some f**king bullsh**.

...*Sigh* Well, now what?

Now, we move on to the next post, because we're out of space.

Picked up 25 Bolts. It’s a bit of a small amount, but I suppose you don’t really need a lot of bolts, anyways.

oil-man Yo, you for real? I ain’t joinin’ no cult. Not until I get my revenge on that purple Bass model!

...He truly is a miserable, petty robot. But then again, I can relate to wanting to kill one of Rotom’s characters... The namesake, to be precise.

In any case, the Beetle Ball only dealt 1 damage.
Let’s see what they do next.
Well, for starters, the Tackle Fire seems to have picked up that Battle Chip for Earth Buster. ...But for what reason? It’s not like they can use it.

Meanwhile, Oil Man used Oil Shooter again, this time on Viking MKII...
...But it only did 3 Damage, again. ...But why is he smirking like that...?

...Hang on a second...

...I see. Covering someone already weak to fire with oil, so that the Tackle Fire can deal a rather dangerous amount of damage... He’s far too dumb to be this cunning... That Petrol Man probably came up with it for him.
Well, then... Let’s see if it will be smart enough.

And so, two of your pawns will receive double the EXP. Probably the best these fools will offer, aside from their weapons. But, who knows, maybe you’ll be able to... “enlighten” at least one of them.
Speaking of, let’s see what they can do... If anything.
The Hothead tried to move in towards Viking, but it appears he is too slow to get even remotely...

...Did... Did he just pull out a Changekey from out of nowhere!? I know that’s basically what they do, anyways, but... That’s just unfair, yet at the same time, just what is it going to even accomplish?

I suppose it’s new Weapon Data. Whatever.

Fire Spawn
A Flame move that costs 4 WE. Information that is entirely useless since it deals NO damage, and can’t be learned by anyone other than this thing.
Effect: You saw what it did. Spawns a Tackle Fire in an adjacent empty space. Which is complete bullsh**, but again, to what ends?
In any case, Oil Man tried to attack Beetle MKII with Oil Shooter...

@RotomSlashBlast :

Watcher has joined Team Fractal Requiem!

By the way, you can make your move for this turn. Enemy turn has already passed.
As Team Prototype approaches the Tower...

(Hello there! I see you're trying to enter the Electrical Tower. There seems to be something big happening in there... And I'm assuming you're here to help. But it'll be quite the hassle to catch up to everyone... And that's why I'm here!)
(In these trying times, where dangers lurk, I want to help people just as much as the others... However, as you'd probably imagine, I can't do much on my own. That's why I'm opening up the Beat Airlines!)
(I can carry you to the highest floor that others have reached in this dungeon... However, since I'd have to carry so many of you, it's going to cost you a bit. 5 bolts per floor, to be exact.)
(So, what do you say? Will you spend 15 Bolts to take you to the 4th Floor?)

...Let's just hope someone in Team Prototype can speak Bird.

@Inconspicuous User :

...Hm. It appears you can only take ONE step down through this oil... I guess it should be reminded that it requires double the speed to step on a single Oil Tile... Annoying, but surely achievable.

@And as for you... :

I don’t think I can take your word for it. You do seem rather foolish, standing there conversing rather than doing anything ELSE. A trait that, should it not have existed, probably would’ve averted you being the first of everyone- even Prototype- to actually LOSE in a dungeon. ...It would’ve, that is, if it weren’t for the fact that you constantly INSIST on having each other go in alone, rather than work together... Which, while I would say such a thing as “teamwork” is below me... Let’s face it. You’re WEAK. You are in DIRE need of such pathetic methods, because NONE of you are remotely strong enough to survive on your own. The weak feeds off of each other, after all.

Don’t you think you’re being a little harsh on them? I’m guessing you’re just mad it’s not just the two of you anymore.

THAT’S not what I’m mad about. The simple fact that they came here was just the top of the iceberg, and being forced to have YOU here, too, is the tip of that. What’s I’m mad about is the REASON they’re here. They only came here because MKII is here.

And?

And that’s the thing! Team MKII is NOT a part of this world’s dumb little “Robot Academy”, NOR was it ever announced he was even here, or existed! And there was no way they could’ve seen them in town or heading in the Oil Wells, either; they were in the f**king ICE JUNGLE! The only “logical” explanation that could possibly excuse HOW they know who Team MKII is, AND how they know EXACTLY where they are, is that they have 4th Wall awareness. Which they SHOULDN’T have because they’re supposed to be CANON CHARACTERS!

In short, I’m not mad that they’re here to annoy us. I’m mad because the very reason they’re here has NO logical explanation to it whatsoever.

...Uh-huh. I’m just going to do my part, now. Is that ok?

Do whatever you want. Just stay out of the way.

We’ll see what happens.
Enemy’s Turn
Oil Man moves 3 spaces left, and 3 spaces up.
[Player’s Turn]{defense

...Huh. I actually realized... Despite your rather... Er, harsh way of putting it... You... Actually gave some solid advice. That’s... Rather uncharacteristic of you.

...Tch. I just hate to see weakness. It reminds me of the naive idiot I once was. And besides, I only said those things to get the point across that they aren’t going to get ANY respect from foolish tactics.

Right...

@RedBomber : Moved.
Enemy’s Turn
Met Cover deactivates.
Player’s Turn

...It’s coming closer...

@Soren :

Chemical Man picks up 20 Bolts!

You can indeed reach the Metall. However, you cannot attack it on this turn since it is using its Met Cover ability, so the attack would be nullified.

@RotomSlashBlast :

Shired picks up the (BC) Scramble Thunder!

ABILITY DATA OBTAINED!

Scramble Thunder
Core: Electric
Power: 4
Range: 1-4
WE Cost: 6
Effect: Launches 2 electrical spheres in two directions: one towards the initial target, and another towards a foe equal spaces away in an opposite direction.
Learning Requirements: Level 4+ Electric Core
Enemy’s Turn
Metall Classic gets out from under its hard hat.
Player’s Turn

@Inconspicuous User :

Unfortunately, there is a problem with that... Robots with the Leap ability cannot move 1 space ahead, only 2 at a time. And, unfortunately, the staircase is a single space ahead of you. You’ll have to use someone else to reach it.
And to make matters worse, another pathetic worm is here to interrupt.
Oh, well. At least it can’t get any more annoyi-

Team Shattering Mirrors has arrived!

... *Groan*...

Meanwhile, Beta Z and Ninja Z, feeling certain that they've gotten away and (hopefully) avoided becoming fugitives on the run, finds a place to rest for the night, within a dark cave, a good distance's away from the city. It wasn't a house or anything of the sorts, but it was something. And, hey, both of them have some sort of affinity to the darkness, so... Bonus? After checking to make sure there were no animals around to disturb their slumber (or, likewise, no animals of which the two would be disturbing their slumber), the two decide to rest on opposing walls, facing each other so that they could converse on what just happened.

...Passports... It's not everyday a robot would just ask for one of those, huh? ...If only our passports weren't left in a universe that had probably collapsed by now...
Would it even matter? As I said before, we have no idea just how different the passports of this world are... Or how different this entire world is to ours to begin with. For all we know, our passports would've been passed off as fakes, and we would've landed in prison or something.
Just one of the cons of being universe travelers, huh?
...Although, it just occurred to me... Couldn't the police robot just scan for our identities? I mean, I know we wouldn't be in their database, but...
A valid point, I suppose... But, why did it even ask for our identities? It's not like we're that different from any robot here...
...Unless...

Unless? Unless what?
...Unless we actually are different from other robots here... Think about it. There would be no reason for a robot to be asking for a passport unless...
...Unless they were unable to scan anyone... Or if teleportation isn't a thing!
Bingo. Beta... I think we're in a universe with the least advanced robots we can find.
...Huh. And yet, they aren't too far behind from what OUR modern robotics are...
Still, we should probably stick to laying low for now. If these robots can't teleport...
...Then they don't have any teleportation interference technology... Meaning we could technically go to any place that we please.
Correct... And since it would be such a danger to national security, it would probably be best to be more careful when and where we teleport...

...In any case, I'd say it's about time we power down for the night...
...No. You do that on your own. I'm not entirely sure this place is safe yet... I'll stay up for the night to make sure nobody comes around and discovers us.
Really...? ...Well, OK, if you're so sure...

Beta shuts his eyes and turns off for the night. Ninja, on the other hand, sits quietly, taking out an E-Tank he bought in a previous universe and taking a slight sip. Things might get tricky for the two of them later...

@GammaGhost : Rock is what he's talking about here. It is Rock in Japan, but Internationally (Powered Up is an example of this), the powerless Mega Man is simply known as Mega.

Personally, I prefer Rock, as I imagine many people would (simply because of the naming aesthetic of Rock and Roll), so I would go with that.
