@GammaGhost : It is possible to attack and walk up stairs.

It is impossible, however, to attack the Cactall because it is actually a player, and that sort of thing is only allowed in PvP matches. And even then, they won't exactly be there when you do attack.

It appears that now everyone is focused on taking down the Guts Tank...
(No idea what Vat Man is going on about a blimp, though... While I do see the blimp, I doubt something as big as the Guts Tank is going to be anywhere on there... Otherwise, I’m fairly certain that blimp would be crashing from the sheer weight of the machine, if not because it is currently on a rampage.)
Regardless, this should be rather interesting... And, dare I even say it, perhaps a little... fun.
...No, no. Do not get yourself excited, Missingno.... You must not show anything of the sorts. It’s part of why you’re here, after all... To test yourself... Among... other things... At others’ expense.
...In any case... Let the race begin.

The two members of Team Mirage find themselves back at the front of the Dojo...

(...So, you two managed to lose... Hmph. How saddening. You’re fortunate enough that you don’t lose anything from it.)
(Come back when you feel like you can actually manage yourselves in there. I may be good for fast experience, but that won’t matter if you can’t get your hands on any...)
(...You could possibly try raising your ranks in one of the lower-level dungeons, or defeat a Robot Master to take their weapons. Maybe THEN you might be able to keep up.)

Hooray, someone’s actually using the shop!

Right, so that’s 2 Speed Cores and a Friendship Module, as well as 60 Bolts from selling the 1-Up.

...Also, something funny I would like to mention. You see this tile?

That... is NOT a wall tile. It is an Oil tile. Its purpose is to slow people down, costing double the SPD to pass through it. ...But that ALSO means that your team had plenty of oil to pick up. (Though, here’s something on the bright side: taking any of that oil would’ve actually been illegal. So, you kinda dodged a bullet there.)

ITEM DATA OBTAINED!

Timeless Code
Core: Time
Effect: Changes the floor’s weather to Timeless. Does not work in boss rooms.

...Yes, as you can probably guess, Codes are the equivalent of PMD’s Orbs. Also, I guess it would be necessary to know what the Timeless weather effect does...

Timeless
Effect: Inflicts Slowed to all non-Time Core robots. Yes, even Swift cores, who are otherwise immune.
Enemy’s Turn
Bombomb moves 3 spaces right.

Bombomb throws a Drown Seed at Chandelure!
Chandelure is inflicted with Drown!

ITEM DATA OBTAINED!

Drown Seed
Core: Water
Effect: Is to be thrown at enemies. Inflicts the target with Drown

...Likewise with Codes being Orbs, Seeds are the equivalent of PMD’s... Er, Seeds. Also, here’s what Drown does:

Drown
Effect: Deals 2 Water core damage to the inflicted robot. Water Core and Subcore robots cannot be Drowned. (Don’t ask how a robot can drown in the first place, and especially don’t ask how it’s possible through a tiny seed.)

...Also, something I probably should’ve mentioned before. You have the ability to throw items in cardinal directions. This item is then caught by the first robot in that line of sight, if a wall is not in the way. For example, throwing a Capsule would have the robot consume that Capsule (which is a nice way to help allies who are not teammates), while throwing a hold item would put that item in the catcher’s held item slot (should it not be full already). In addition, you can also throw Cores to use as a weapon that deals damage based on the user’s ATK stat.
Player’s Turn

Team MKII has arrived! (Welcome to MY side of the updates, MKII... Refrain from causing TOO much trouble while you’re here.)

Team Error Log has arrived!

...Wait, why are YOU guys here?

Isn’t it obvious? To participate in the story, of course.

Isn’t MKII going to try and kill you or something?

He won’t be able to attack anyone here unless I allow it. ...Though, the new “throwing items” mechanic may just provide a loophole... Eh, just try to avoid being within cardinal direction of MKII as much as possible.

Noted.
bombomb *Chuckles* I’m in danger.
...All that aside, I’d like to share something with you guys.

Yep. We did it again. RMMD Hunger Games 2 has pitted the cast of this roleplay against each other. Who has come out on top? The answer may surprise you... Which, unfortunately, rules out Carl, because everyone would expect that.

guts-man ...And then, I got thrown out by this guy who looked just like me! This is the most absurd thing to have ever happened to me!
time-man_alt9 Of course he would look like you, you big oath... Have you forgotten what reproduction models are?
guts-man I KNOW WHAT A REPRODUCTION MODEL IS! Whatever that... thing was, it wasn’t some ordinary reproduction model... It was HUGE! Bigger than anything that has ever entered the mines! It was like some kind of giant bulldozer made in my image... Which is just plain creepy!
Sounds to me like you’ve just encountered a Guts Tank...

Oh, great. THESE two again.

...I’m almost not surprised it decided to target your place... The Yellow Devil, I don’t get... But a Guts Tank feels almost at home in the Mountain Mines...
What I don’t understand is why... Guts Tanks are basically war machines, and last I checked, we’re not exactly at war... (Though, the way things are going with these incidents...)
...So why is it active? And why attack the Mountain Mines?
guts-man Well, whatever the reason, it’s in the way of our construction work! How are we supposed to build the first city in a Mystery Dungeon under these conditions!?
cut-man_alt3 Dude, you’ve been working on it for 5 years now. At this point you’re either done or not even building-

The Guts Man glares at the Cut Man.

cut-man_alt3 ...Erm, nevermind.
Don’t worry. We’ll help you to take back the mines.
Hold on there for a second, Sergeant. We!?
Uh, yeah...? Who else is going to do it?
Let those other guys from the Academy handle it, our schedule’s full enough as is.
Ninja, I am pretty sure that this is more-
guts-man Oh, no, don’t worry yourselves over it. If you’re busy, it’s fine, I understand. Just get me those other guys you were talking about.
See? We get the others to save the mines, while WE take the opportunity to catch up to them, and perhaps even become better than them. It’s the perfect plan!
...*Sigh* Whatever you say...

STORY MISSION: Travel to the Mountain Mines!

@GammaGhost : There are some attacks (such as Met Shot and Big Stomp) that would cause friendly fire. However, purposefully targeting and attacking allies, even with such moves, is not possible under any circumstances.

I don't know exactly why you would want to do this ever, but I suppose it would have its uses for healing those with either an Absorption ability or one of those circuit items... Which, I don't think any of your teammates have.

Post 600 Time.

@Gamma Ghost and @RotomSlashBlast :

Biostar Acorn has reached the stairs!
Team Biostar Company moves on to the next floor!

Phantasm has reached the stairs!

Team Fractal Requiem moves on to the next floor!
@RotomSlashBlast :

For some odd reason, Enayrk can feel a pair of eyes watching him angrily from afar...

It’s called “reproduction”. ALL robots- apparently with exceptions these days- are mass-produced in order to make up the world’s population. How could NEITHER of you know this!? What do they even teach you kids in school these days? I mean, seriously, it’s like you’re BOTH from another world or something.
Enemy’s Turn
Treble moves a space to the right.

Treble uses Treble Sentry on Enayrk!
Not Very Effective... 1 Damage dealt!
Player’s Turn

@RedBomber :

...Hm... Where should this team head out?

Well... I guess the only place these guys haven’t been (aside from the Oil Wells, which kinda has enough people already) would be the Arctic Jungle... So, sure. Let’s go there, at least until the next story event starts up.

Player’s Turn

..Hey, look. It’s one of two of the currently idle pokeepoo teams.

...Why have I not removed them from the dungeon at this point?

Ok, so since Missingno. and MKII are both gone, I guess that leaves me in charge of this floor. (Because apparently that’s how these things work...)

In any case, moved.
Enemy’s Turn

YOU FOOL!
Sniper Joe moves a space to the right.

Sniper Joe uses Defense Buster on Junior!
7 Damage dealt!
Junior is disabled!
Team Prototype is defeated!

Team Prototype is booted from the dungeon!
disco ...Ugh, why did that bird leave me with the nursing job... Well, I see you’re awake now... About time.
disco Beat explained what happened, and let me give you some advice, kid... Don’t just rush into situations carelessly. It was just a Sniper Joe! You probably would’ve beaten him if you were more careful...
disco Now, why don’t you just move along and leave me alone. Making sure you recover was a complete waste of my time. Seriously, name ONE time someone actually died in a dungeon instead of being booted out...

...So, what was that you said about a Junior Death counter? Because I believe this makes it a 2. 3, if you count having to defeat Junior in order to recruit him to begin with.

So, what’s next for this team?

@GammaGhost : Team members are not to be sold or traded. You can release them if you wish outside of a dungeon (their held item would go to the inventory or storage), but... Idk, something about trading away team members feels wrong.

and yet we are ok with doing this in pokemon but that's besides the point

In regards to trading items...

When Rotom/Phantasm mentioned gifting some items to Team Prototype (before he decided to have a complete 180 on his opinion of the team), I was actually considering it. And you know what?

...Sure, let’s do it.

You can now gift or trade items and bolts with other players! And here’s how that’ll work:

1. Both teams must either not be in a dungeon, or they must be on the same floor of the same dungeon.
2. The person who wishes to trade will offer items and/or a number of bolts, and will ask for something from the other team in return. (Alternatively, they can offer items and/or bolts, and ask for nothing in return.) (Ex. Team Instrumental Espionage offers 1 Weapon Capsule and 20 bolts to Team Error Log in exchange for an Extra Life and a Speed Capsule.)
3. The other team can either accept, deny, or make up a counter-offer. (Ex. Team Error Log counter-offers an Extra Life and a Speed Capsule for an Attack Capsule and 20 bolts.)
4. If a counter-offer is made, the other team can either accept or deny. They cannot make another counter-offer, lest we end up with a near-endless chain of counter-offers.

And that’s about it. Will this make an impact on player interaction? We’ll just have to wait and see.
@RotomSlashBlast :

Moved.
