Okay. So.

1.) @megaman zero : MegaBossMan is an admin; he is literally the boss, and I think he deserves respect as such. I realize I'm responding later than I would've hoped, but this is still something that needs to be addressed. I'm warning you now; please show proper courtesy to the authorities, especially an admin, or it won't be my wrath you face...

2.) As disrespectful as he was, megaman zero is due respect as a member of this community. Warning him is one thing; picking on him is another. Maybe this is just my perspective, but please try to lighten up on him.

3.) As a general rule of thumb, this thread isn't for arguing. If you need to talk something out (which it seems like you do), do so on Chat, Skype, etc.

I'll be deleting the post of and beyond megaman zero. I don't like being a parent, but try to be more civil when responding to posts :| Thanks, guys.

@CrimsonBomb : Please don't post in a thread just because you want someone to post in a thread. If you're going to post, it needs to be a relevant update to the topic at hand. Thank you.

@MegaBoyX7 : While I do appreciate the spirit of good Roleplay as much as the next guy, the Attorney Online game you introduced in General is already perfect for something like this; having another topic on the MMRPG forums is a bit redundant. Plus, this section is meant more for Classic Megaman roleplaying, usually using the roleplaying formatting features built into the forum. As the heading of the Roleplay section says, "While it is not necessary for threads to be related to the prototype per-se, they should be related to Mega Man classic in some form." Thanks!

@MegaBossMan : I agree. Star Crash does seem to me be more offensive for a barrier weapon; I mean, it's called Star Crash, whereas the other weapons' names are more defense-based. In fact, in MM8BDM (sorry to drag in another fangame as support), Star Crash is used purely offensively, so perhaps we could do the same in this game?

Firstly, as a barrier-esque weapon, I feel like it should stay as a Shield-cored ability, no matter how offensive its use may become. Even after the database is all filled out, Shield abilities are going to be pretty rare. Plus, keeping this Shield-cored will give Shield-core robots a more offensive ability to help balance out all the defensive abilities they'll probably have tacked onto them.

With that out of the way, I propose that Star Crash not have any defensive capabilities whatsoever. So far, it's been a given that Shield abilities should and will be defensive, but that shouldn't have to be the case. Doing so limits the potential for Shield-core robots. Yes, you can always throw the barrier, but that always takes up a turn to do because that's not the point of those abilities; their all-around purpose is defense. With Star Crash, I say that it should be something that can be thrown during the turn its used like a normal projectile, as well as being able to choose the target. The damage would obviously have to be nerfed, but this provides Shield robots a go-to if they need to hit a benched robot or just be offensive for once at any time during the battle. I can understand if that sounds to bland for an ability, though, so I'm open to suggestions so long as the ability stays offensive.

1. I did. I enjoy the simplicity of being able to come in, cast a vote, and wait until the next day. Gives me motivation to visit the site regularly without feeling like a lot is required of me in said visits. Also, dat Ballade/Docrobot destruction.
2. A) be made randomly. As we've seen, different matchups, even among the same characters can still be interesting for the audience.
3. That could be interesting. Maybe depending on the Division level (e.g. Semi-Finals, Grand Division, etc.), you could have the normal 1v1 or an all-out battle royale (most likely done earlier in the tournament), where there'd be, say, 5 contestants and each of us gets 2 votes to put into them, maybe being able to give multiple votes for one character. Have you ever played Quiplash on Jackbox TV? It'd be like the final round of that game.
4. You'd have to have less repeats if you want a third time. I think there was good variety for this particular sequel, but by the time a third one comes around, you want a very different cast...Honestly, if you didn't/couldn't do another one, I would completely understand.
5. NO

@AlphaRock0131 : This topic is really too similar to this one to warrant its own thread, so I'll be locking this. If you wish to say differently, shoot me a PM and I'll consider it. Thanks!

@Adrian Marceau : You bring up a good point......huh; I'm really not sure what to think. Hilariously enough, if your barrier goes away before you can throw it, that actually takes away from its usefulness and might make it underpowered. I'd ask the community what they think because I feel like it could go either way.

@Adrian Marceau : With this being basically a better Skull Barrier, why would you ever want to use Skull Barrier over Star Crash? Shadow vs. Space core typing aside, that is; I'm talking about what Skull Barrier's unique practicality is now.

@Adrian Marceau : I'm personally fine with the "core" robots being in Bonus Field because, to me, it makes it that much more rewarding to come across a new RM. Granted, as it is now, you can basically call them on demand with uncompleted Fusion Fields (which I personally think should only attract "core" robots when there's enough made), but I like the feeling of encountering a new RM to fight and scan in the Bonus Field because it makes "grinding" (if you will) that much more rewarding. It's like running through the same tall grass to encounter a rare Pokemon, and when you do, your dedication pays off. That might just be me (again, especially with the idea of Fusion Fields already calling those robots automatically), but I'd like to keep them in there. It feels more like a comprehensive completion mission anyways.

P.S: The word "core" in this context means robots that can be unlocked up to this point.

@DEATH : Slash Man, Tornado Man, and Magma Man (among others) can be encountered on Fusion Fields and Bonus Field 2, but you cannot unlock them yet. They have their designs finished, but their unique stages and abilities are not; those wil take longer to release. Hope that helped!

With Adrian back and the Prototype updated, what will the future of SNC be? If it did return, would we discuss bugs? We could make more suggestions, but right now I could understand wanting to avoid that with the new update is just getting settled in and bugs being the more pressing matter currently.

@ChaosShurikenGSX : Have you ever played Pokemon? This game is supposed to be more like that than the inflated grindfest it used to be. You're supposed to take you time and plan out the fighting style of your robots, before battle and during battle. Like Pokemon, battles are supposed to take longer so that you feel more accomplished with each battle you finish. In the old version, one battle meant close to nothing in the big picture of the 1000s you had to do to skyrocket up the ladder.

There are some moments of grinding in MMRPG, but the main focus in strategy, and strategy takes time.
