For those who are new, no, this isn't a remake of MMRPG Prototype or anything, this is going to be a completely-ish original thing I am going to be doing... again... ish... help me

So for 80% of you, Welcome Back! I am working on A Mega Man RPG again! But now it is no longer a remake of another flash game with the same name that was being done as an anniversary to the game but then I lost motivation and news flashes blah blah blah, now you want to see some stuff right? ...Wehll I meen iguesch...

Although as of now, I haven't done anything for about a month, but there has been progress made. I am now mainly focusing on making all of the robot masters and finishing the battle system. And as of now, the project will be split into 3-ish... First, the Main Game. Second, the Demo (including Alpha/Beta versions). And Third, a Playroom where you can test anything you want (although there isn't any crazy strats like in MMRPG Prototype sad).

Hopefully I can get working on it again soon, but there are other things that I have focus on as of now. For now, I will post updates of plans and stuff in the comments, and add documents explaining stuff. I guess that'll be it. So if you have any questions I'll try and answer them, but likely nothing is going to happen.

Speaking of Questions, here some I'll answer:

Q: Is the game actually named "Mega Man RPG: Rebooted"?
A: No it is only going to be called Mega Man RPG, this is just the thread name.

Q: Can I help you make the game?
A: No. Also it's made in Scratch.

Q: When will the game release?
A: 1337 ACE (After Common Era) now shush.

Q: Your game sucks.
A: Who asked.

No, this isn't another "Make a Robot Master for MMRPG", this is for SPECIFICALLY the Robot Master in a Mega Man Game.

Hi and welcome to a "Totally Accurate" Robot Master Maker. Where you create your own RM's/OC's. Hurray...

Anyways, long descriptions are boring, let's get into how to do stuff. *insert funny teleporting noise here*

Setup

Name: (Give your Robot Master a name. But you don't have to, but make sure to put ??? at least)
Core: (Your Robot Master's Core-type. This isn't required, as some circumstances make it confusing to choose a Core-type)
Model #: (Your Robot Master's Origin. This isn't required, in case you don't have a Doctor or something. You can also label what the letters mean)
Weapon: (Your Robot Master's Weapon. It must have a weapon or else, how does it defend itself?)
Stage: (Your Robot Master's Home. This isn't required, if you haven't decided a place of origin)
Gear: (What Gear from Mega Man 11 does your Robot have? This isn't required, as maybe the Double-Gear system doesn't exist or isn't used anymore)

Strategy (The Way your Robot Master fights. You can have up to 4 Main Attacks and must have at least 2 Attacks)
{Patterns} (Let's your Robot Master use attacks in order in a pattern. To make a pattern, put {Pattern 1 or 2} behind an attack, you can also add letters to identify better)

Critical Attack: (A Special Move your Robot Master can perform when below half-health (or any-time). But your Robot Master doesn't have to have it)

(Weapon Name)
Gimmick: (What the Robot Master's Weapon can do)
Damage: (How much damage the weapon can deal)
Cost: (How many points it costs to use the weapon, decimals are allowed)
Range: (How the weapon can attack an enemy)
Max: (The Maximum amount of the same weapon allowed on screen at a time)

Playability (How your Robot Master could work if it were a character, you don't have to do this of course)
Abilities: (What your Robot Master benefits aside from every other character)
Sub-Weapons: (What other weapons the Robot Master could use, this isn't required, since usually Robot Master's only have 1 method of using their weapon)

Description: (Your Robot Master's Backstory, current hobbies, and other things about it. You don't have to do this)

Sprites
(Show what your Robot Master and/or what it's weapon looks like. Although you don't have to go for the extra mile unless you want bragging rights lol)

Core: Cutter
Model #: DLN-003
Weapon: Rolling Cutter
Stage: Abandoned Warehouse
Gear: Power

Strategy
{Pattern A} Attack 1: Cut Man will shoot his Rolling Cutter at you like a Boomerang, that will then come back to him
{Pattern B} Attack 2: Cut Man will run towards you and jump above you to catch you off guard and land on you, he will then try again
Critical Attack: Cut Man will make his Rolling Cutter MASSIVE that destroys any object it hits

Rolling Cutter
Gimmick: Is thrown at an arc that then comes back to you by reversing it's velocity
Damage: 1
Cost: 1
Range: Front
Max: 1

Playability
Abilities: Wall-Jumping, Throws 2 Rolling Cutters Max
Sub-Weapons: None

Description: Created by Dr. Light, to work as a Lumberjacking Robot. He was one of the robots captured by Dr. Wily in Mega Man's first Ambition. Cut Man likes Kirie and Haircuts, but is often stubborn at times. He is also very bad at playing Rock-Paper-Scissors. (He always chooses Scissors)

So as a 15th (OR 20TH?) Anniversary Gift for Mega Man RPG. I present...

So yeah I am currently working on a Remaster on both of the original MMRPG's

I will be releasing a Demo soon for the 1st game so stay tooned!

So I've been listing every Ability Name including the ones not listed and from the 2k15 prototype (except the PCR Robots)

Now it's time we find out what the (UNCONFIRMED) total amount of mixtures can be made!

The (Current) Total of Ability Name Mixtures is... 29925!

(As I've said this is not official and will change in the future depending on what weapon names are gonna be used because they might be reused)

So today seems to be very bland like a lot of other ones. And for that I say... this needs to stop...

The MMRPG Community still exists but the "Community Threads" are dying. Due to inactivity with this pandemic, it has been very boring just trying to wait for something to come.

Like wise, I might as well say this is part of my "The Quest for Response" thread as everything (except Chaos Zone back in the day) was dead except for people that were active BUT WEREN'T TALKING AT ALL ANYWHERE.

I know we don't like boredom, and that's the problem. The game's development is going very slowly, and I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I'm just saying that HTML is harder than using any other program that requires downloading. But this project's goal is to make it not downloadable and for a browser.

The more silence, the more dead this community becomes... so please... like Among Us or rather CtM said...

So yeah welcome to a rebranded version of my Mega Man Smash Bros. Thread but I know how to use Spreadsheets

Here is somethings to expect from this idea
It is Smash Bros.
So the main thing to know is that this is Smash Bros. but Mega Man- BUT MEGA MAN ARENA ALREADY EXI- SHUT!S H U T!S H U T!
Mega Man Arena is obviously not Super Smash Bros. so I'm gonna give some ideas how this would work
Special Things
Obviously I don't want this to be ENTIRELY Super Smash Bros. so here is some Special Things that will be featured: Sliding/Dashing, Ability Changing (which effects Neutral-B), Characters that come from fan-games, 9 Costumes
Everything is stored in Excel Spreadsheets

Now some of you have heard of these Elemental Games where you start with 4 Elements
These games are quite fun although most of them don't have any story...

But you know... Hey! What if we made a Mega Man Elemental?
"BUT SOREN HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THAT YOU CANT MAKE AN ELEMENTAL GAME WITH ANOTHER VIDEO GAME"
If you said something like that, your a bear (hehehe riddle school joke go brrrrr)

So basically we will use the Core Types and Start with Flame, Water, Earth, Wind, and Neutral (You'll see later)
and we'll try to make all the Core Types including Copy (like somehow i dunno)

And then the game is over... right? WRONG! *throws table*
Well, there's a story...
The Short Way: The Abilities are Gone
The Long Way: Dr. Wily made some sort of machine that destroys all the abilities so every robot would be useless and Dr. Wily would rule the world. Although with a Spark of Luck, Dr. Light discovers 5 Elements (core types) that Mega Man can use to recreate the Weapons. And so the "I'm just Going to stand here and do shit" Adventure begins

So Yeah, that's the purpose of Neutral... The Abilities
You also can make your own abilities for their combinations
"BUT SOREN HOW CAN WE COMBINE THE CORE TYPES TO MAKE ALL THE WEAPONS SINCE SOME ARE THE SAME"
If you said something like that, your a moose (hheehheehhee rriiddllee sscchhooooll jjookkee ggoo bbrrrrrrrrrr)
We're gonna mix the Abilities (Most of the time). And we're not just gonna have the 20 Core Types... we're also getting the other 15 of them! (Which doesn't include the very last other types) Including yours! (And not Mine, OH HELL NO)

And well... I think you get it at this point...
Mix and Match, Get the Thing, Do it Again, Blah Blah Blah, Then you Win
So uh... I guess... Start?

On September 8th, I presented a Mega Man vs. Zombies Concept. Although not much is shown, I'm still gonna work on it, more or less plan on it. I do plan to work on this in the near future but at least we could spend some time talking about it. I haven't just decided to do this but I have history of why I wanted to this. From wanting to make a Regular PvZ Game to Working with someone else to make a PvZ Game but with Mega Man... and now this is where I'm going to leave it. This isn't a PvZ game due to how you play since PvZ Game is a "Tower Defense" Game not a "Shoot 'em Up". But this still contains PvZ stuff so if you are interested, you can give ideas for the game. You can talk about anything related to the Conversion with Plans vs. Zombies with Mega Man. Anyways, let's see what we have...

(Also don't make lists of Weapons, I'm already working on them but you can change the names)

Welcome to Super World Builder! (SWB) This is a roleplay section where you make your very own... Mario World? Yeah weird to bring up Mario but at the same time WHYDIDMEGAMANSTARTONTHENES. I have been working on this project for a few days since this was meant to be a roleplay involving images. (If you don't know how to post images, here's how: Make a picture, go to Imgur (or another image sharing website), Click New Post, put in your Image, Wait until Upload complete is shown and then Press the Button Copy Link (DO NOT COPY THE TOP LINK IT WONT WORK), then here type in [image] (theurl.png) (Do not put a space there), and then your Image will appear)

Before starting, I want to let you know that you will be using 8-Bit tiles, you will also be using my World Builder Packs (unless you want to waste your time creating your own which I'm ok) which can be downloaded Here

Notice: I forgot the Star World Tile F-
Now here are some guidelines

1. Lines are used for Paths
2. Size must be at least 80px x 80px or higher
3. Adjust width or height by 80px for more map space
4. Your Map can be incomplete
5. When there is a red stage, anything in front needs to be the locked variant of the lines, black stages, and undefeated towers/castles
6. Secret Exits must have another path
7. Signs must be placed ON the lines
8. Starting Points are used to indicate the Beggining
9. You are allowed to make an extending path after the final level but you can not add levels beyond that point
10. You must include a tower and the castle must be the final level
11. If a level is either an Underground/Underwater level, place a Underground/Underwater Tile (with full borders) on the line then place the stage point
12. You can make your own Tiles
13. Ground Tiles are used for the background
14. You can add a background (color)
15. You can make a Game
16. Do not place tiles over Water/Poison/Lava Tiles
17. You can make more than 8 Worlds
18. Toad Houses must have a requirement
19. You can name your worlds
20. Have fun!
