@SLEEP DEPRIVATION : Basically, Ageman was backing up this version of the server in preparation for a big update. Or something like that.

(Eidolon:) First you steal my appearance, then you go after my BATTLE PLAN!?
(Eidolon:) You know what, I'm just gonna say it!
(Eidolon:) You. AREN'T. FUNNY.
(Eidolon:) And I ain't talking to the person you're disguised as; I'm telling that to YOU.

Eidolon uses Divine Sparkgun again.
Calx charges his Level Buster, then uses Earth Power+ on Xane!

Actually, Calx was trying to use Junk Shield and Defense Support. Not the Refinement/Oil Slider combo.

...Whatever, Calx just uses Junk Shield and Defense Support. Like he was SUPPOSED to.
Eidolon, on the other hand, uses Divine Sparkgun on the phantom trying to steal his identity!

(Eidolon:) If you have time to whine about who did what, you have time to pay attention to THIS!

Eidolon emerges from his mobile mini-lake and unleashes a Thunder Beam+, whilst Calx puts up a Junk Shield and uses Defense Support!

(Vivace:) I'm talking about your bombs straight-up detonating BEFORE PROTECTION MOVES GO OFF!
(Vivace:) ...Anyway, can someone help me out!? I can't stop getting down!!

Since Vivace is beung forced to dance against her will,  Eidolon, who's dressed as the Devourer of Gods from Calamity Mod (his costume's even made of waterproof materials, but the colors are switched out for varying shades of green and orange), switches in!

Here's Eidolon's new stat spread BTW
EN: 85 > 98 | WE: 60 > 80
ATK: 110 > 112 | DEF: 80 > 107 | SPD: 95 > 123

Eidolon suddenly uses Portable Puddle!

(Eidolon:) Look, I know I just GOT here, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna let you mess up my setup, so sit back and prepare for your annihilation!

Calx, meanwhile, uses Refinement to heal himself and some allies, and then uses another Oil Slider on Xane!

Vivace gets up... and she's absolutely livid.

(Vivace:) You've just done something fucking illegal.

Vivace first uses Warp Accel+ on herself, then a Medium Orange Soda on Calx, and finally a Divider on Xane!
Calx morphs out of Stone Body+, then uses Prismatic Cleanse on Alicia, and follows up with a Magnetic Shockwave+ on Xane!

Magnetic Shockwave+ | Electric/Earth Type
Upgrade Effect: Doesn't miss.

In a sudden state of panic, Vivace learns and uses 4th-D Slip.

(Vivace:) Nuh-uh! That's NOT happening, KAY!? KAY!

Vivace spends the rest of her AP on Energy Rippers.

(Vivace:) Okay, no. I'm NOT going through this "fear" thing again.

Vivace suddenly learns and uses Overdose, taking 25% of her health in damage, but clearing out her Fear and Stunned ailments!

Overdose | Damage/Energy Type
Cost: (Specified %) Health
Effect: Damages the user by the percentage specified, then the user can remove 1 ailment for every 10% health lost this way. Unused damage percentage is then added to the Adrenaline Meter. This move can't have its usage prevented by statuses, nor can ailments affect its position in the turn order.

Vivace then activates Speedy Phase-Out!

(Vivace:) Everyone, quit hitting this guy with stuff that can cause ailments, he'll just redirect 'em!

Calx stays in Stone Body+.

Calx steps up, carrying a bunch of stuff he recently bought!

Nice. Just great. Even when we're taking a break, we STILL have to fight something. Good thing I visited the Enragement Child and some other shops before coming here.
(Vivace:) ...Who?
Not important. Are you in on this or not?
(Vivace:) I mean, I GUESS, since there's a forcefield or whatever stopping us from just up and leaving.

Vivace (who's dressed up as a bedsheet ghost but with a zipper on the sheet that allows her head to stick out when she feels like it), also steps up to fight Xane!

Stuff that was bought:

Divider x2 (30 Chall. Markers)
Speed Shoes x2 (10 Coins) (One is equipped to Calx and the other to Vivace)
Team Baton (5 Coins)
Medium Orange Soda x9 (6840 Zenny)
Kids' Toy (Warp Man) (2280 Zenny) (Equipped to Vivace in place of the Fortune Module)

Stuff before shopping: 14275 Zenny, 30 Coins, 31 Chall. Markers
Stuff after shopping: 5155 Zenny, 15 Coins, 1 Chall. Marker

Calx's stat gains from levelling up take effect!

EN: 86 > 114 | WE: 57 > 60
ATK: 84 > 91 | DEF: 105 > 136 | SPD: 98 > 119

In addition, Calx learned some new moves!

Refinement | Earth/Recovery Type
20% Recovery | 10 WE
Description: The user gives themself and 3 ranadom ellies a beverage of refined oil that restores health. If the target isn't mechanical and/or is allergic to oil, the oil will magically turn into something "earth-y" that particular target can drink. Nothing gross, though.
Effect: Targets the user and 3 random allies. Healing is doubled for targets/users that have Earth as one of their Types or Resistances.

Oil Slider
Block Dropper
Salt Water

Now for Vivace's stat boosts and stuff.

EN: 102 > 120 | WE: 67 > 82
ATK: 85 > 92 | DEF: 70 > 92 | SPD: 106 > 134

Okay, let's get this going, then!

Calx starts this off by charging his Level Buster, and then trying to hit Xane with an Oil Slider!
Vivace, sets up some Golden Spheres around herself to attack Xane, then uses Phantom Blur!

Okay then, elemental essence time!
First, I'm gonna spend 500 Light Essences on the Sound element, then 910 Laser Essences on Prestiged Laser.
And since I don't have much essences for anything else I'd like that's basically it lol

Earth

...So, I wasn’t exactly listening to that thing’s monologues, what exactly was it supposed to be again? An eldritch abomination, a bunch of ideas that never happened for some reason, an average JRPG superboss?
...Hm.

Emulous Aeon gains EXP from beating BROKEN SEAL, which is somehow enough for him to gain 3 Levels.

Level 25

Immediately after the Level-ups conclude, Emulous Aeon starts glowing an aura of Cutter-Type, Impact-Type, Electric-Type, and Flame-Type energies!

Wait what’s going on, this has never happened befo-

As it turns out, there were elements of Mecha Shards that Emulous Aeon had 4 of (or more), which is the equivalent to having an entire core from a Robot Master. Upon reaching Level 25, Emulous Aeon gained a new power that lets his systems convert elemental Cores to augment his hardware with new abilities!
4 Cutter Shards were repurposed to create an opening in each palm, each one containing short-range extendable and retractable spikes!
4 Impact Shards were repurposed to create piston-like implements in Emulous Aeon’s limbs!
4 Electric Shards were repurposed to give Emulous Aeon a second battery, multiplying his Energy and WE by 1.5!
4 Flame Shards were repurposed to create a secondary, furnace-based engine that lets him consume flammable materials to give himself temporary buffs!

Ohohohohoh, now THIS is the good stuff!
I’m gonna guess that this means I can use entire cores to enhance my hardware directly now, that’s DEFINITELY a plus if you ask me!
But this is only the tip of the iceberg... I just need to upgrade myself a few more times, and then I'm gonna get you, Gamma Miser*!

Emulous Aeon heads off, in search of more material! It looks like he's headed toward Spinning Quarry...
*I'm well aware that Gamma Miser is now called Digamma Bolt.

(did you forget thrash machine or something? because for some reason methinks laser mech's a different unit)

Anemone switches out, and a certain remnant ghost pops onto the field, complete with a long-overdue stat overhaul!

shi-Rou's stats increased!
EN: 20 > 72 | WE: 26 > 93
ATK: 27 > 97 | DEF: 23 > 82 | SPD: 24 > 86

shi-Rou then learns the following moves:

White Flash

remnant salvo | Experience/Missile Type
39 Damage | 95% Accuracy | 6 WE
Description: The user chanels their Remnant, spawning a bunch of phantoms to scream in people's faces.
Effect: Removes all ailments applied to the user. For each ailment the user was afflicted with, a phantom is spawned, and targets enemies randomly.

remnant cyclone
39 Damage | 100% Accuracy | 4 WE
Description: The user fires off a Remnant-powered whirlwind at the target.
Effect: This can also hit enemies that are in midair, and does double damage to them.

remnant lightningstorm
58 Damage | 90% Accuracy | 7 WE
Effect: Hits all enemies and has a 15% chance to crit.

remnant hoarfrost | Experience/Freeze Type
42 Damage | 95% Accuracy | 8 WE
Effect: Inflicts Chilled on the target for 3 turns, and worsens (doubles) their stat debuffs.

remnant meteor | Experience/Space Type
90 Damage | 89% Accuracy | 7 WE
Effect: Lowers the user's Attack by 2 stages unless it misses.

shi-Rou then fires off a White Flash at RBF!

hey, guess who's relevant again.

Then, if allowed, Starwalker unleashes PK Starstorm Ω and fires off a Slowing Deluge at Scales!
Thrash Machine, if still alive, activates Turbo Dodge!

|P| Magnetic Laboratory

Collateral Aeon's trying to dodge the *REGGAE'D*storm from Legato's armada, but he's starting to feel the effects of getting hit by so many projectiles!

(Ugh, not used to seeing my healthbar this low... even Duracell wasn't able to make me feel THIS outclassed...!)
(Normally, my pride wouldn't allow something like this, but right now my only option is to get the *REGGAE'D* outta here... and this forbidden technique is just how I'm gonna do it!)

Collateral Aeon points toward the wall behind Legato and her army.

HOLY F*REGGAE'D*, IS THAT A CONVENIENTLY-PLACED DISTRACTION!?

Legato and her mechas turn around, and by the time they find out that there WAS no conveniently-placed distraction, Collateral Aeon's already gone.

I can't believe we fell for that.
None of us can, but that's not important right now. In fact, he's probably already left the place.
Now that that's taken care of, though, I have an announcement to make.

Legato walks over to an intercom, and switches on the microphone.

Greetings, inhabitants of Magnetic Laboratory. My name's Legato, and as of right now, this entire place is under my control. Anyone who tries to defy me will be put down brutally by me and my army of Mechas, which also includes four Uber-Mechas which were created by my former master for the sake of combating high-level entities.
Some of you might not like the changes I plan to implement, but eventually you're going to learn to give way to me through either fear, respect, or some other factor I haven't listed. However, I'll give you some time to get used to each of these new factors I put in place as to not overwhelm you, since if I did I wouldn't have much of a populace to rule over, now would I?
One more thing before I start rolling out my new agenda for this place, though; If you see anyone with Aeon in their name, KILL. THEM. ON. SIGHT. At least, unless I tell you otherwise. That's all for now, folks, but I'll be back to lay down some new policies soon enough.
Construction Collider

Okay. There's gotta be at least 900 more fusion fields for them to search through, so I'd say their odds of finding me on their first try's about... 0.125%, give or take.
(Now, let's see how I'm gonna deal with this Legato chick. I could try to tell Zeta or Legacy about her, but that seems too risky right now. Skull Reaper's also right out, for obvious reasons.)
(...No. My over-reliance on numbers is what let me dig myself into this crater, so the only way to get myself out is to focus on improving MYSELF, at least in terms of power.)

Oh wow, I did NOT expect Divine Shinedown to hit THAT many times.
(Can't really do much right now though, can I...?)

Anemone fires some Buster Shots at Scales, then follows up with a Nexus Ray+ to the same target's face!
Starwalker scatters some Life Dew across the team's side of the field for some quick healing, whilst Thrash Machine fires a swarm of Laser Shots at RBF!

Anemone fires a Chromatic Mortar at Scales, then attacks RBF with a Divine Shinedown!
Starwalker, meanwhile, starts charging PK Starstorm Ω, and deploys Wing Guard to guard himself from the (probably) incoming onslaught!
Thrash Machine activates its Laser Aura in preparation for a big assault!

Welp, better buy some stuff before it's too late to do so.

First of all, I'm buying myself a Team Baton for 5 Coins, and then a Variant Slot for 1250 Zenny.

Before shopping: 2544 Zenny, 7 Crown Coins
After the fact: 1296 Zenny, 2 Crown Coins

Second, I'm gonna add some moves to Starwalker.

Sigma Balls

Life Dew | Water/Recovery Type
20% Recovery | 100% Accuracy | 10 WE
Effect: Targets all allies, plus the user. Healing done via this move to those with a Water type or Water affinity is doubled.

Facade

Now that that's taken care of, let's get this started.

Anemone appears out of nowhere and puts up a Safeguard!

I have no clue why that guy seems more evil than usual, but that's not going to stop me from getting rid of all this red haze!
...And maybe also the source of it, if it's possible.

Anemone then follows up by charging God Bird, and also activates a Team Baton, calling in...

This mist is Pissing me off...
Wait, what?
I'm the original      Starwalker

Starwalker uses Thrash Remote, attempting to spawn in a Thrash Machine!

(For some reason, I was expecting to get that demon girl again... Guess she's not available right now or something?
Somewhere in Parthoris
Wait, how did that location end up being part of Neo Florida?

A glowing white sphere washes up on the shores of... wherever this place is, catching the attention of a certain demonic redhead.

...Huh, this looks interesting. Seems kind of... chaotic, almost.

As Hellion Lady reaches out towards the shimmering orb, power starts coursing through her...!

(In case it wasn't obvious, the Variant Slot's being used on Hellion Lady)

Ensemble equips a Target Module if doing so doesn't cost AP, points at Proto Devil (or Bass Devil, if his defense is lower) whilst sporting a death glare.

The permanent ending of vital processes.

Then, as if on cue, two Sheer Colds happen in her target's general direction!
