@ch4s3man : Hi ch4s3man! Even though Tomahawk Man may only be by himself in his mission, he's more than enough of a threat, and it's true that his Silver Tomahawk ability can wipe through parties easily! There's a couple of different specific methods you might be able to get away with, but one that I used reliably during testing is to try and utilize Cloud Man; he has an Earth immunity, so Tomahawk pretty much can't touch him except with a pretty weak Flame Sword or Gyro Attack (which would probably be Tomahawk's only defense against Cloud.) Equip him with something like defense swap, attack swap, and any strong abilities you can get away with; any powerful held items would be useful too!
You can also try a similar tactic if you were to summon a Tackle Fire! Tackle Fire, with his immunity to cutter abilities, CANNOT be hurt from any of Tomahawk's attacks; set him up with a good moveset that reliably uses abilities like Defense Swap and Attack Swap, and this may also prove useful!

If you find that you just aren't able to defeat him, don't fret! Every RM exclusive to the challenge missions are always eventually made unlockable in Kalinka's shop after a set period of time.

Hi @Malware,

truthfully, the Light Buster should be one of the first abilities you unlock and should be unlocked automatically at the start of your journey. However, a vast majority of accounts as of recently have been unable to unlock Light Buster due to an error in the unlocking conditions in the ability's coding. This issue's been very well documented over the past year and is in our queue for bug fixes; in the meantime, I apologize that this is such a widespread issue and for the inconvenience it brings alongside it.

@Ice man : Image-hosting can get a little particular depending on the nature of the site itself. Lightshot and Pasteboard, for example, don't seem like they're able to properly embed on the site. Imgur and Discord are pretty commonly used around here, but you can also try websites like PostImage or ImgPile instead. As long as it's an image hosting website that offers you the direct link / hot link to the image, you'll be able to get it to show up in a post directly.
To make sure it shows up, you also want to make sure your image link ends with one of the above file types! If it's a .png, for example, make sure that your link ends with .png to get it to show up properly.

Paint.net's a pretty great starting tool if you're on Windows. Medibang is probably the best you're gonna be able to get on Mac.

Hi there kragekamachi! Good question! Here's a couple of useful threads that analyze some of the various effects of Omega Influence
Omega Influence Testing
Unofficial Omega Influence Findings Thread
March 2017 Omega Influence Update Thread

In essence, Omega Influence is a background mechanic in the game that affects the various typings of different characters, so think of Hidden Power from Pokemon. It affects three elements

- The Omega Influence of a Robot affects the typings of the abilities Omega Pulse and Omega Wave. The Omega Influence of a robot will also slightly increase any moves of that element that the Robot Master has.
So for example, say if your Robot Master Bubble Man had an Omega Influence that was an Explode-type. If he were to use the Omega Pulse/Wave abilities we mentioned above, they would come out as Explode-type moves. And if Bubble Man were to use any abilities that were explode-type, like the move Bubble Bomb, it'd be just a little bit stronger than normal.

- The Omega Influence of a player affects the ability Omega Wave only. This move is a move that is dual-core, so it has two types. The first type is determined by the Robot who uses the move, and then the second type is based on the doctor's omega type.

- Lastly, Shopkeepers can be affected by Omega Influence too. If you sell a shopkeeper an item that matches their Omega Influence type, they'll pay just a little more for that item.

It's a lot to read, but truthfully it's more of a background mechanic that appears in the game to give you some slight hidden benefits from time to time; you don't really have to get the hang of it in order to excel at the game or anything. If you wanted to mess around with it though, you can go into your in-game settings and enter any random sequence of letters, numbers, or words to get an unique new set of omega influences. That being said the possibilities are so vast that they're practically random, so getting an omega influence you want for every Robot, Player, and Shopkeeper may very well be completely impossible. For the most part it's just a fun little hidden mechanic to mess around with!
If you have any further questions, feel free to let me know or look around in some of our help threads.

Cut Man eyes the plant Robot Master. In another life he knew they would've very much been enemies, as shears and shrubs mix together about as well as the Montagues and the Capulets, but given the friendly demeanor of the planty robot, this was no time to be making new foes. Looking around the room Cut Man surveys what he could've only described as flora-based furniture, but while he would've loved to rest his rump after careening through a glass window, he figured not to be impolite as to sit on a chair and accidentally end up sitting on what may be the robot's sister or something... Given that, Cut Man sinks into his natural confidence to do his best at keeping a relaxed demeanor. Keeping his cool and looking to start his conversation with a confident and firm starting leverage, he leans into a lanky plant nearby to bolster his laidback footing. ow. Ow. OW. OUCH.

Thorny plant. Ok. Given that he's already made the conscious decision to dedicate himself to this plant, and to retreat would be to admittedly admit weakness in the face of his stranger, the "war-thorn" Cut Man steels himself through the pain and begins to make light conversation.

Cut Man Nice greenhouse you got here! I've always been more of a bonsai guy myself, but a skilled eye like mine can recognize good garden care when I see it, which isn't too often... Well, anyway, Garden Ace, I guess you could say I'm just here to say 'Bons-Hi' and chat with the local residents (though I will need the bathroom directions later, yes.) It's definitely tough to know where's what in a mansion like this, and as far as proprietors go, your old man Marceau isn't exactly the easiest host to get to know! Speaking of the doctor... you wouldn't happen to have heard from our salubrious host any time recent, have you?

Cut Man, lost in his momentum, gets flung past the door (assumably shattering and decimating the very fabric of the door with his speed, given he felt no glass break) and gives himself over to what surely must have been a very graceful somersault gliding across the floor. Hurdling and hurdling, Cut Man then loses all his momentum as he bumps his rump on a stump.

Cut Man Bless you, kind little tree. I am forever in your debt. To give you my thanks, I give you my honest word that I will not hurt any of your tree friends while I am here.

At least, not until the next time he visits!
Cut Man flings back up, dusts himself off, and recenters his eyepatch to help his sight. Thoroughly examining and scanning this garden he was in (which was truly not very much of a garden, more like what he would call an outdoors commune), he spots a stand lined with a crowd of folks. Cut Man figured they must have all been lined up to pick up the latest Playbox consoles or whateverthehellyacallit, and having never been one for waiting around in a crowd, immediately took it out of his mind and of his peripheral sight.
Glancing up, what immediately caught his interested was a massive tree structure, complete with some very cute matching huts. Cut Man had already promised to his savior that no trees would befall any harm while he was here, so timber-felling the structure was out of the question. But trees had always caught Cut Man's attention, so taking hold of a vined ladder, Cut Man promptly scuttles up the little ladder and towards a hut adorned with a pink roof, which he had a gut feeling he would find someone of interest inside...

As the crowd of robots disperse the hall, Cut Man is solemnly left to his own dinner table. In front of him, his feast, his nourishment, covered by stones. Rock. Glancing under his seat, was one of the doctor's fancy doohickies. On the mechanical apedange read 'Gift Wrap.' Squeezing his fist, out fired a piece of colorful wrapping paper. Paper. The irony was not lost on him. Surrounded by rocks and accompanied by paper, Cut Man supposed he had to be scissors.

Peering out into the main hall, his heart was hit with a familiar sense of dread. "Oh no.. not again." The last time he went into a mind-bending mansion to save some weird ol' scientist he didn't know, he ended up hitching a ride with some space pirate dogs. For space pirates they ended up being pretty cool, he had made some friends, but you've never faced dread until you've caught space fleas. Yeesh. His mind was settled then, if only to avoid the space fleas. Nope. Adrian can un-kidnap himself. Cut Man's hey-days were long over about a solid XX years ago. Thank you for the dinner, thank you for the conversation, and thanks a plenty for the air conditioning, but he simply must be going. Plenty of other folks to steal room, house, and board from. Sayonara, auf wiedersehen, dasvidaniya, gooooooodbye.

Cut Man "After all. I've never loved mansions. All the people in 'em always got such bad manors".

Woof. Even by himself, the sheer awfulness of his own joke passed over him like an awkward wave. To escape his own ashamed embarrassment, Cut Man stood up, picked up some of the food left over (which was mostly just rocks now), and finally made his move towards the main hallway. Coming out to the hall, what struck him first was a couple of real powerful-looking robots trying to bash a door open. He had wondered if they had tried opening the doorknob first. Slinking in and out of the crowd, the next thing to catch his attention was an immediate flash of light; clearing his eyes, it seems a real sheepish robot had tried -- and failed -- to bypass one of the staircases in the room. An unpleasant thought ran through Cut's mind: "yeesh, if the doors are practically free torture sessions, I don't wanna see the rooms!"
Suddenly his eye catches something. In a little quaint corner, away from the commotion, there was a glass door leading into a luscious garden. Ooh, gardens, now there was a promising sight. As someone whose whole gameplan in life has always been to absolutely decimate and desecrate the very image of nature, he couldn't help but be magnetized to the very sight. Only one glassy barrier stood before him and a real easy grassy start. Luckily, he knew just the solution, and it wouldn't have to be all that smarter than what those powerful-looking robots were trying to do.
Readjusting his eyepatch, centering his headgear, and finally taking a deep breath, in and out, Cut Man bellows
"LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Cut Man
Cut Man breaks into a sprinter's pace and flings himself full-force onto to that glassy window to hopefully reach that green eden on the other side.

Woah nelly, @zerox12 , I appreciate your gumption, but when posting in a forum, you always want to be mindful of Double-posting! Posting multiple times in the same thread one after another in the same time-span is a no-no when it comes to forum posting. If you have multiple ideas or things you had wanted to say after you've made a post, you can always edit your previous post instead to include more information. Otherwise, there's no use really replying to your own posts, and it absolutely wreaks havoc on the notifications of the other users also using the community. So please, be mindful of your fellow users and wholeheartedly use the handy-dandy edit button that's handily located on the top-right of every post you make! Thank you!

That said, many interesting suggestions here! I particularly dig the idea of Elec Man's Thunder Beam being able to strike 2 opponents on the bench to properly reflect and adapt how the move functioned in the original Mega Man!

He taps away at the dinner table. Impatient. Irate.

The affairs of man had long since meant nothing to him. He had long since seen it -- everything -- all before. The beginning. The end. Man and robotkind were destined to piddle away in the same eternal, endless, inane cycle of violence and reconstruction, of love and hate, ceaselessly telling this same play on the infinite stage of the cosmos. The cast was by definition different, but live long enough and it's really all obviously quite the same. Sons will repeat the sins of their fathers, who will one day become fathers with sons that will repeat the same sins, again and again in a world that will always ultimately refuse to end. So it goes. Even this dinner party, long enough has it been already, will happen over and over. In fact, somewhere deep inside him, perhaps from a memory long cast away, told him that this was probably already the case.

All that meant anything now was nothing. That is what he had seen out there, in the vast reaches where man was never meant to be -- nothing. He had seen the most wondrous beacons of warm light. Galaxies that spiraled endlessly in dance and song. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All exhibits, surrounded by sheer nothingness. Cold, indifferent nothing. Nothing surrounding nothing surrounding nothing surrounding nothing. And he, why he, to be chosen to be god's witness to all this. It was a mistake, or destiny, or greed, or passion, or nothing, that brought him to be lost in space. Years passed. Or months passed. Days passed. No time passed. He wasn't sure anymore. He only knew he was up there before, and was here now.

It's true that success had waited for him. But success was only a concern of man -- this was something he had cast aside when he had rejected himself. There was nothing to buy on Earth that would have ever eased his soul. Everything now was only just a dream in a sleep he would never wake up from. So with ennui left in his heart, he walked. He walked. He walked. Until he ended up here. Listening to ramble he could not care to understand. Tapping away at a dinner table. Impatient. Irate. Ay, woe and pity fall upon anyone who would know the name of ---

Woah holy crap did that dude totally just get kidnapped

“Good lord, not again,”

Okay this sudden outburst was unexpected, but it was just another momentary distraction that would ultimately be just another rub to occur as life would continue and continue on and --

wait a freakin’ minute…

AHEM FASCINATING ISN’T IT, HISTORY SHOWS US HOWEVER WELL-INTENTIONED MAN MAY BE, CHANGE INSTITUTED BY --- THAT IF -- PEOPLE THAT ARE --- UHH SPACE-- STUFF LIKE REPEATS -- SOMETHING AND something I don’t even know what

if our host is all man-napped and stuff…

Okay, so hear me out, it turns out currently, that at this moment of the universe, there may have been maybe one thought that really meant something to the man

Cut Man … Does this mean we’re not gonna be getting dessert?

@UnoffThrower : The field their boss battle takes place on also has incredibly high damage multipliers. My recommendation is to take an AoE move that can strike multiple robots at once -- like Rain Flush -- and that should do major damage to tear through the opposing Dark Soul team!

@100 : To get a core, normally if you simply defeat an opponent with their weakness, they have a 50% chance of dropping a core.

Now that you have Copy Soul though, simply equip that on a Copy-core robot (Mega Man, Bass, Proto Man) and have them use the ability. As long as they're not already holding an item, using Copy Soul will spawn a core for them to hold from the robot of that type.
For a really good farming strat, go into your in-battle Items menu after getting a core and you can unequip that core with the upper-left 'Unequip' button. Use Copy Soul again, which gives your robot a core to hold, and unequip, and you can super-easily gain a ton of cores in no time.

As SnowPlayer mentioned, this is... not the way we really do things here and not the way a forum works.

Forum threads are used for generating in-depth discussions about a designated topic that can have multiple users participating for the sake of discussion. If you're looking to personally talk with someone in the Community, I would absolutely recommend sending them a Personal Message by clicking on their profile and using the Message button, or if you're looking for conversation in general, to use the easy-to-activate MMRPG Discord channel for real-time conversation instead. Once you start using those (convenient) methods instead, you can feel free to converse with an user for as long as you please -- otherwise, we can do without public summon threads, haha.

In the meantime, this thread will be shortly locked. If you have any questions or need any help with what I've asked above, feel free to ask questions.

@TheHighTower : At the moment there are no plans for Ra Thor to fit in the overall campaign or plot so I can't particularly say 'yes.' He is questionably kinda-canon though so later down the line I think it'd be fitting for him to appear in any sort of side content or postgame material... It's one of those things that's worth discussing with the development team upon one day, though for the moment I simply used him because I had made a mugshot for fun with him and he's obviously not in the game yet. Sorry!

(he would be really cool though)

@beerus12 : The Omega type factor is randomly generated from a string of letters for each player, which determines the Omega type factors for every Robot Master, doctor, and shopkeeper. For the Robot Masters and doctors this only determines the typing of their Omega Wave abilities, and for shopkeepers this determines what types they might be willing to pay extra for (like Reggae, and the elemental cores you can sell him.) That being said, you can actually regenerate your Omega typing by going into the 'Save' tab of the game and typing in a new string of letters in the *Regenerate Sequence* section. You can put in any string of letters and numbers in and it'll completely change what types you may get from those string of letters. It's worth mentioning, though, that the possibilities and combinations are almost literally endless when it comes to changing your Omega factor, and as the Omega Factor only impacts select abilities and factors of the game, I wouldn't recommend getting hung up on trying to find the absolute best combination -- I think that might be impossible, haha!

@IsThisRageMan : I'm sure different users may have different methods for doing so, but I imagine many users may be using external image hosting websites in order to post their images on site. You can post images flat-out by using this format : [image text in brackets](image url in parentheses). For posting mugshots, I imagine users take mugshots that are 32x32 in size and then wrapping that in formatting text. So like this

[So we have our colored text here, in between two brackets. Make sure you get the type right at the end!]{shadow}

[[Ra Thor](https://i.imgur.com/m0utB9P.png) Now to get our image to show up, we include our image formatting at the start like so.]{shadow}

And now let's see the end result

[[Ra Thor](https://i.imgur.com/m0utB9P.png) HUMAN ENGINEERING PALES TO OUR ANCIENT PROWESS... BUT FORMATTING TEXT IS ACTUALLY VERY COOL NOT GONNA LIE.]{shadow}
